1821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: June 22, 2022, 11:14:44 PM
Day traders or not, we all end up being a trader but I agree with what he said that there's always the opportunity whether the market is bearish or bulls.
I think it's just all about pride in what he said when he mentioned "real traders". And there's nothing wrong calling all of those brave traders to be real and have been trading no matter what the season is.
I'm also uncertain to see real traders making a good profit during the bear season. Well, the volatility of the market gives them a chance to earn some but quite hard when we just only see more on dump compared to pump. But I don't think their pride pushes them to continue doing this as what I see is that they know somehow that there is a chance. They are not looking at the negative side or the possible losses but rather thinking negatively despite the inevitable market situation.
1822  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 22, 2022, 11:37:35 AM
A few days ago there was a storm that made the price of Bitcoin Dip and once touched $ 17K, although we could return to $ 21K, but today we deserve to be vigilant because the storm waves are not over, if the price of dropping below $ 20k then I will switch to stable coins to avoid greater losses.

Exactly, it's not over yet, looks like bitcoin is going down $20k below again. It's not surprising though because we are still in the bear market, so the bear dominance is quite very obvious now, we have to make the right decision now and trust its success in the future.

If you are a day trader, well, be careful because we might lose more if we think it will bounce back anytime soon, I think we have not seen the lowest this year yet.

You do the right TA when you are a day trader, if you want long term investment, not much effort needed, unless you panic on the current market situation, so if you are not, just relax and HODL.

Will bitcoin hit $10k this year?
Unlikely bro but not impossible.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 22, 2022, 11:00:25 AM

Lakers management needs to review all the possibilities before signing or trading anyone,

the league is no longer the same super team is not composed of paper players but those role players which mostly undrafted
or just come out from nowhere but provide decent performances.

In terms of trading Davis, it's wise for the team to let him go while he still has a big value. Let LeBron finished his contract
and whatever decision he wants after letting him decide.

Maybe Lakers should stop taking advice to Bron on whose player they will acquire because he is the one who's choosing his teammates and the reason why Lakers loss a lot of valuable young players such as Ball, Ingram and Kuzma in exchange for veteran layers that Bron preferred to build his dream line-up.

Lakers failed big time this year because of Anthony Davis absence and there supposed to be star players that didn't perform properly there respective role. I do agree that trading Davis will be a good idea since he was always injured every season. Maybe they start developing young players again to make sure they will have a good organic roster in the long run like Boston and Warriors did.

I think this has been the tradition of Lakers though, if I remember correctly, Kobe also initiated Pau Gasol's move to LA and then make make Howard move somewhere else as they are not in a good relationship.

And I think Lebron has the same mentally even before joining the Lakers. But I would have to agree that this has to be change. The organizations need to take over the players and not the other way around as it will be a disaster.

That's the culture of the Lakes, they have a star player and they will give him what he wants.

They gave everything to Kobe when he was still playing, and now they are giving Lebron everything.
Lebron have won a championship with the Lakers already, the management are already happy with that, so they are giving him the hand to do what he wants.
1824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 21, 2022, 10:35:33 PM
NFT was the talk of 2021. Now if we look at floor prices for all popular collections https://www.coingecko.com/en/nft other than BAYC there is nothing that performs well.
Cryptopunks are down big. Same for azuki, moonbird, coolcats. Collectors are now looking for good fundamentals, but how can NFT give it? Discuss?
The reason why we have serious bull run in 2021 was partly because of NFT projects. Some of them especially the popular one on coinmarketcap.com has give huge returns to investors. It is not going to die but know that this is how things work in crypto space. A lot of manipulation is going on and the weak hands are losing seriously. The whales are buying them at this discounted price to sell again for the desperate one at the top.
NFT and metaverses have been so hot last year but never does it say they are the reason for such Bullrun, they just contributed some of it. But now, these two (NFT and Metaverses) have been cold already, in fact, just only a few people talk about them and I'm not sure if these people are buying them or not.

Well, maybe you are right that they will die but sadly just to see that they were very close to that. Investors have never seen any assurance from them, they are shitcoins, and that's why they have been ignored by now.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 21, 2022, 12:38:20 PM
^^ He is young and very ambitious, tall and has the advantage on Canelo (reach and height). And he has a good power too, so it's a perfect match for Canelo. But so far he is not on the radar of his team, after GGG maybe they will have to think if they will go for rematch with Bivol. Beterviev is out of the equation for him. There could still be some boxers in 168 lbs that could be safe fight for Canelo. Maybe one try at light heavy weight with Bivol and that's it, regardless of the outcome.

For sure David Benavidez will be considered in the future as a Canelo opponent, maybe after the Bivol rematch because there is not much option out there for Canelo when he beat GGG in September lol.

As early as now, Canelo is already talking of a rematch with Bivol but if the unification fight between Bivol and Beterbiev pushes through then that rematch will take some time to materialize as that fight is what people wanted to see.

Canelo will only make himself suffer again, he cannot beat Bivol, his style will not work on Bivol as we have seen in their first match. Bivol is willing to give a rematch, but for sure the negotiotion in terms of money will be different in the rematch.
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: June 20, 2022, 11:05:36 PM
Can you make more money participating in bounties or airdrops? I made the most money doing airdops so far, like the one from Uniswap, but long term, I think bounties like the one from candlelabsdotorg will pay off better. What do you think? Which of these methods of earning free crypto should I pursue?
A direct answer is NO. They are apparently unreliable way of earning, they have been ignored by many people knowing that they are useless, majority of these airdrops have small market value or even totally nothing. But, if you want to have some collection of them, wasting your time, this is the thing we do.

But I guess, you don't but I think you also have to try just to prove by yourself and of course, for you to know the sentiment of the participants complaining about unpaid airdrops.
1827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 20, 2022, 10:19:06 PM
I'd certainly looking forward to seeing Bitcoin and the entire market will be pumping soon as long as we keep our strong support. Buying is indeed one thing we can do, selling could be an option but this never it helps for the recovery, yet this it pushes more to the dip and prolong the recovery. While we are in a dip situation, taking advantage of buying more is a great idea rather than doing nothing or just losing the opportunity that we think of during Bullrun.

Buy the dip, buy the dip - then to say I'd change my mind...lol
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 20, 2022, 12:17:55 PM
^^ Yes, Lebron has confirmed and admitted that he will likely wait for his son to be in the NBA or even in the same team before he will retire. So probably couple of years still for him to play and it seems he still has the motivation to win another ring with the Lakers (or any other team). Although he has several injuries already, but he knows how to take care of his body and with the advancement of sports medicine, maybe he can still play above average at 40. And speaking of him, he is the first active NBA player to become a billionaire.

https://www.espn.ph/nba/story/_/id/34025397/lebron-james-becomes-nba-first-active-player-worth-1-billion-per-forbes

Wow, that was impressive, though Michael Jordan is still the richest NBA player Lebron could surpass Jordan if he continues to play in the NBA. He is still very active, could lead a team despite of his age, I love how he is taking care of his body, it only reflects how discipline he is.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 20, 2022, 11:44:48 AM
Looking back at OP's post, the odds for the title, seems kinda interesting. Of course it is very understandable that team with the best odds not getting the title or team with a low odds getting the title can happen. As far as I remember, my first post in this thread was about the odds for Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. I thought they were really not reflecting the real situation. I can see the Kevin Durant effect but it was very unlikely to happen. And of course, the odds for Warriors. If someone bet on them really big and win, that is quite a big success.

GSW is not that strong when they entered the Playoffs but in those games, Thompson, Wiggins, and Looney found their rhythms and went out for some great play to beat every opponent in the series and finally win the NBA championship. Nevertheless, they have the veteran experience and they know exactly how to handle such pressures that's why they easily won against their opponents. Maybe we will see them again if they gonna show such kind of play early this upcoming season and hope no one will gonna hurt before the NBA playoffs.

Add Poole to that list as well, he also had a good playoff run and had average 17 ppg.

Looney had his best game against the Mavericks, because they chooses to play small. While Thompson, game 6 Klay performance against the Memphis on a close out game. So everyone contribute in the GSW run in leading to the finals and then they become the favorite although it seems that in the beginning, we might see an upset. But 3 straight win and then won the trophy for the 4th time.

And for next season they became more better team because there role players are all back coming from injury. Imagine having Wiseman,Kuminga and Moody to their team most provably we can see a more improve Warriors line up next season. Lets do hope that they can keep Wiggins and Poole because these young guys will be the future of GSW especially if they can improve more their gameplays.

We should not worry about the Warriors, they have already become champion, so they already know how to figure out to win and how to manage their roster. Every team is looking for an improvement, even the LA Lakers when they won a championship, there were some movement of players because they are looking to improve but it's unfortunate that they messed up the next season.
1830  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: June 17, 2022, 02:30:43 PM
In general, the crypto market is already regulated now.

yes, we can still transact crypto using our wallet and maybe sell through a p2p transaction, however, we cannot be confident that regulators are not looking into this, their job is to regulate everything, and that's why most of the crypto exchanges are operating under a license because it's the government that wants to ensure financial institutions like exchanges are regulated well.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 17, 2022, 01:48:01 PM
That's all folks Sad.

Unfortunate.... Boston lost and our dream is lost as well, but, we must congratulate the winner GSW for really coming out and giving no chance to Celtic and even more than this , Curry looked like he could play that game for 2 days and Celtic wouldn't comeback so this says a lot about GSW mentality right now as I'm sure they felt unstoppable during the game.

Yes, the Warriors mentality is what made them beat a strong Boston Celtics. Curry finally won a finals MVP and he got 4 rings already, I love his aggressiveness in the game as he really wants to end the series and he succeeded in doing that. Celtics have a little run but it wasn't enough for them to make it a close game and had a chance to win, congratulations to both teams for giving us a great 2022 NBA Finals.

Not the kind of run that they made before where they could win the game, Warriors always have a counter everytime Boston made a good run and that 4th quarter is still a quarter that they were able to control. Warriors beat the Boston by 13 points who are -3.5 before the game, that's sweet.

Yes, because the Warriors had already figured out to win the 4th quarter from game 4 to game 6.

Here are the 4th quarter scores

game 4 - 28-19  (final score GSW won by 10 points)
game 5 - 29-20 (final score GSW won by 10 points)
game 6 - 27-24 (final score GSW won by 13 points)

And look at the winning margin as well, it's not a close game.
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge coin in trouble? on: June 17, 2022, 12:56:16 PM
I don't think DOGE could be in trouble because of Elon Musk. Most likely any altcoin is in trouble right now because of market decline, so DOGE will not fall more than other coins. Well Musk has had a lot of complaints for a long time now, and DOGE is the easiest of them all. In fact, it wouldn't be a bad thing to hold him accountable.
Doge and Elon Musk? They are certainly in big trouble because of encouraging people to invest with this meme coin. It is so many times that Elon Musk hyped Doge and many people got tricked also, several times they fall giving losses to the investors. I think it was enough for them, I hope this is not just a rumor but it is supposedly the time to stop Elon Musk from participating in crypto and promoting Doge. They actually not helping anymore but sadly, a reason for losses.
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Hunt for new NFT project on: June 17, 2022, 12:28:40 PM
I am looking for new NFT project that has very good utility Do you have any project in mind that can be as good as APE NFT in future? What new NFT project you are presently into? Bored Ape Yacht NFT and other are just way too overpriced.
I don't really like NFT, but I have a recommendation that you might buy there, yep! NFT from Mobox,
I think everyone knows how their project is progressing, and their NFT utility can also be said to be very useful than APE
I hope you could be right but investing in NFT projects seems too close to losing our money. I dare not to give interest in them as I'd rather take old projects who have good market credibility rather than rely on luck with these new projects like NFT. It was too clear enough to see that these NFTs have no market progress, in fact, many of them have already died and I don't think we can afford to lose our money investing wrong projects.

1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 17, 2022, 11:30:56 AM
Just like the other victim of Garcia maybe except Tagoe, if they engage and toe to toe, they will be destroyed by that left hook, one of the best in this division.

Tagoe chooses to run and survive than go toe to toe against Ryan Garcia, he just wants to protect himself as he knows he has no chance against Garcia. I don't know why that guy fights Garcia when he has no intention to win and to be honest, his record seemed worthless after his performance.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 17, 2022, 11:03:48 AM
I'm really sad about Celtics to lose the sixth game and the title at the same.  Cry   I was favouring them in the final series to reach the championship after a break like 15 years. I didn't see a very solid team effort in this game from them and this was the thing that I was angry with the most. Warriors had so many spaces and punished them for that. I saw Horford and Brown making a really good effort for Celtics here. In the last moments of the third quarter, Horford was really great and fired up the team. Brown was also continuing to bank in really hard shots. But it was really hard to stop Curry and his friends.

Congrats to Warriors and their fans! I respect their effort so far a lot.  Smiley

I was rooting for the Celtics since the playoffs started. I believe in them in reaching the finals and they actually did eventually. When they were in the Finals and steal game 1, I started to gain confidence that they'll gonna win it all this year. Unfortunately, after game 3 they got exposed. Tatum disappeared and the Warriors playing on a high level like they were from the last 3 championship.
I feel sorry for Horford, but at least he have experienced the finals in his career.

Warriors deserves it, Steph deserves it.

Celtics have not made the right adjustment, their strategy has been so predictable that's why they lose 3 in a row. It was Wiggins who stopped Tatum, and although Brown had some production but it wasn't enough for the Celtics to win. Despite of that, I'm still happy with the achievement of the Celtics, they are still a young team and for sure the experience they gained will make them a better team.
1837  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is investing more than you can afford to lose inevitable? on: June 16, 2022, 11:42:55 PM
You can spend and invest more than you can afford to lose, perhaps it was your choice but never you'd think it was a smart decision as you are dealing with a high-risk investment. Rich people have a lot of money and a lot of resources that is why they are not afraid of spending more but for poor people, that is something different. Putting to the instance that if we have to spend everything we have, what had left us in case our investment fails? It is very important to think wisely and to think not just by today but also in the following days. This is not about thinking the negative but we also have to make ourselves prepared for it.
1838  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 16, 2022, 10:22:48 PM
Stop loss on last 2017-2018 bull run peak? Where it is around $20,000?
For me, I am really not alarmed with these recent dumps in the cryptocurrency market because it's not only the cryptocurrency market, it is most of the market especially non cryptocurrency market.
For smart investors, what is happening today is just something not to fear of or alarming. But for those who bought coins at their high value, they must be losing right now if they start panic selling, but if they still wait for a reasonable price to sell, then losing is not visible. However, stop loss will only be useful if you want to control the losses, but if you just hold your coins until the market stabilize, then stop loss is not applicable.
But for me, stopping loss is not the best option to take at this time, we'd rather just hold. Keeping potential coins like BTC and ETH, we know that these coins are profitable long-term, selling them now is really a big regret after. We can say it was an anticipated market crash, but as we are in crypto investment, we are also prepared to hold when the time has come. In fat, we even know that this is not all buying and selling, but also we have to practice how to hold.
1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are given this opportunity to choose which one will it be on: June 16, 2022, 02:22:23 PM
Well, I am supposed to sa that these coins are worth buying, maybe if I have some spare of money I would choose Avax instead of Cardano. I really see the opportunity with them but for now, I have been spending more on Bitcoin and ETH, which kinda be the best choice in this current situation.

I think you have already heard and read some replies, it is up to you now to decide as per to see that we have different opinions. I would just to say that you also have to listen to your heart and use your instinct as this sometimes works.
1840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 15, 2022, 10:48:42 PM
What happens next?
That is pretty simple, whether we do the recovery - if people will hold and accumulate more, or it drops more - if people will do panic selling.
But upon seeing the market sentiment by now, we see some light of it, a few more ups are somewhat giving us a view of possible recovery. We indeed do not lose our hands and become hopeless, instead still being optimistic. We have done this situation before and for sure we can still manage to do this again.
