1821  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late for newbies? on: June 28, 2023, 04:19:55 PM
I don't know how logical it is to ask this question, but I'll ask it anyway.

Is it the right time to invest in Bitcoin?
This question has been countless times and it's okay to ask anyway and to get clarity and I will ask you look at it this way....you know how we have the internet...in some parts of the world do not have it but should the internet not reach such people because they have been left behind Huh NO! People might have got on early with crypto but you can still get on board and use it for different reasons, be it investments, be it a form of money or whatever it is you want from It.

All my friends are talking about cryptocurrencies, but I still can't wrap my head around it.
Slow but steady wins the race, don't rush.

What would you recommend for someone who has no previous experience? Do any of you have resources that you can recommend to me that will explain cryptocurrencies in the shortest and most simple way?
I would suggest you start with YouTube as we have several interesting channels that help simplify this and BTW don't worry too much about the experience, we all started from there Smiley
1822  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: June 28, 2023, 01:30:08 PM
The fact that AI has no emotions, no insight  of those players that tend to kill a game if fielded for sports betting, won't go against the game plan can be a good and bad thing at the same time....

But we all know AI won't be using some strategy off this planet or anything...it will be applying what's already known to us  for example doubling on every lose and reset to initial bank (martingale)..But you know what they say...winners know when to stop but unfortunately this being a bot will keep playing till your bank is empty and I wouldn't sign up for such knowing it won't break its pattern(Algorithm).

To be honest the sound of AI scares me, besides if you aren't playing then we're is the fun in this...Huh

1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: June 28, 2023, 06:44:19 AM
I think this is what scares anybody outside the bitcoin circle thinking you have to buy a whole bitcoin when in fact not!!!

If anything with crypto it's based on how much you want, a dollar, $5, $100 you name it it's all about how much you want or can afford...think of this as being a buffet, you can eat whatever you like but only get what you will be able to finish  Tongue

So who buys when the price is 100k$?? It's still going to be us, the same way it's priced at $30k or it was priced at $70k we shall still buy but of course is someone wants to buy 10000 bitcoins this person is considered a whale!!
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 27, 2023, 11:14:42 PM
Bitcoin's popularity is increasing day by day.
Agreed and it will continue on this path as technology, internet and everything else reaches all corners of the world.

Now in today's society both men and women are working shoulder to shoulder together in the office. No exception to this, women are also very interested in Bitcoin and current Bitcoin. The reason for interest is that when a woman works in an office, it becomes a bit difficult for her to juggle family and children. In today's society we see many working women leave their children with the workers and go to office, those children are abused by the workers.
Am sorry I don't agree with you here!!!
And to be honest this write up is the  reason women feel they are under appreciated and keep fighting for equal rights..and for a civilized era as ours I think we need to move away from this kind of mentality and allow both men and women compete wherever possible....don't limit there capacity.

I think all the sisters who have chosen this bitcoin as their profession should not face such problems. Because after all the children's work and household chores, there will be enough time to devote to bitcoins. So choosing Bitcoin as a career can be a good decision for girls.
Bitcoin is not a profession!!!!

Even if we consider it to be, how many are making good bank from it..Huh Whatever the numbers are, you still need  to work for it or use money to make money!!
1826  Economy / Speculation / Re: The low support level may still be tested during 2023. on: June 27, 2023, 10:24:05 PM
With how this have turned out in the last couple of days, we not going back to the lows!!

Why? Because we have the big boys coming to play and any weak hands wanting to sell now will just be handing over  their coins to the new whales in town and they are stocking up at the moment!

Imagine these guys just made an announcement of joint the crypto space and we all saw price jump from 25k to 30k and imagine  what will happen when they start  buying...Green days are ahead of us ,HODL!
1827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1.7 billion people are still Unbanked; chances for bitcoin on: June 27, 2023, 07:16:23 PM
But it's unfair to say people remain unbanked because banks are still using obsolete ways of giving their customers access to their funds...As far as I know, banks have gone the extra mile to use today's technology to make it easy for anybody to enjoy banking services from opening an account from your smartphone,  to blocking cards, replacing ATM cards etc

But the major reason that could be behind people remaining unbanked could be because of maintenance fees and other hidden costs put on the banks clients..hence the reason for people shying away.

1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 27, 2023, 01:41:30 PM
If this is for real nobody would have seen it coming!

Liverpool seems now to be the hottest candidate to sign Mbappe, but what the heck is going on? Klopp has been asked often times and he said that it would never ever be possible for Liverpool to bid for Mbappe. Never, he emphasized! Cheesy Now there are many sources that say Liverpool is about to pull the ultimate trigger.
At this point anything is possible, but I don't think Liverpool will be in that position to pull this transfer because they will have to break their bank with over 100 million pounds for his calibre...Besides if he is going to be coming here then who will leave or be benched when this happens???

Anyway will keep an eye on this to see what unfolds,  by why is PSG losing good players this easily if I may ask, does management have a hand in this??
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 27, 2023, 09:01:07 AM
Honestly,  it depends on who says it, how it's said or presented, and where its said!!

Sometimes someone might say this as a joke which can be ignored, sometimes people might pass such comments as a way to offend a person which is something most people will be  definitely offended by and will not take it lightly.

But in all this, someone  might say this in an effort to help you incase you are in denial about your gambling addiction and shouldn't always be taken as war but a gesture meant to help.
1831  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Why do people get depressed? on: June 27, 2023, 08:53:55 AM
Depression can not be pin pointed to one cause for all..

People do get depressed for failing to open up to a friend or family because something is eating them up psychologically and nobody is giving him or her an ear to listen.

Sometimes pride ,culture, tradition , lifestyle etc  can get in someone's way as there are certain things society will look down on people and this really corners a person in their on mind...Tbh depression is a silent killer and is a big topic on its own, but all I can say is let's normalize talking to someone..no man is an island.

1832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Teacher and Classmates Labeling Bitcoin as a Ponzi Scheme or a Scam on: June 26, 2023, 10:46:58 PM
Great to know the young nephew has so much interest in cryprocurrencies thanks to the people around him.
But those ponzi labelling of Bitcoin coming from school should be ignored and for now just advice him to talk less about it to avoid his social wellbeing from being disturbed!
And his teacher should equally refrain from this topic for now unless its part of the  curriculum because this could turn out to be an isolation recipe of not wanting to mix with the kids who don't share the same views.
1833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the steps in understanding technical analysis? on: June 26, 2023, 09:29:02 PM
As a newbie in the crypto space, I want to know the steps to take to be able to understand technical analysis
-First things first, know how to read candles ,charts,
Trading terminology  (Probably  the baby steps of trading and you can make use of a paid course or free resources such as youtube and the alike )
- secondly familiarize yourself with platform you be trading on, be it tradingview , metatrader, ctrader etc and then get to choose your tools based on strategy..like the Fibonacci,  moving averages, trendlines  etc
- Once all this is in place and you have you craft, practice practice practice!

and also know how to enter a trader.
People have several techniques on how to enter a trade, this can be done via Multitime  anaysis,  you can also use the Fibonacci for optimal trade entries,  others scalpe with no stop loss which is high risk but saves you from those stop outs.

Good luck

1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 26, 2023, 12:21:50 PM
Lol this fight isn't going to happen, a cage fight for that matter!!

Probably this was some kind of figure of speech that was misinterpreted for its literal meaning...but if they will have to fight it will be a tech fight not some mixed martial arts UFC style...

But then again after seeing that Dana White white interview were he confirmed both Billionaires subscribing for this fight, there is a possibility that this will happen.
1836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: June 26, 2023, 10:00:26 AM
First of all I'm not a real trader, but I like to trade to earn small amount profit.
Ugh actually you are a trader maybe not just a full time trader or something....

Amount of money you make from trading won't disqualify you from being a trader.

I only use BTC/USDT pair because USDT make me easier to determine how much my coins worth after trade and most liquid stable coin, the reason why I choose BTC is I don't need to worry about it when my trading goes wrong. So if I bought Bitcoin at the peak and the price keep decreasing, I will not sell it, but I will wait for the next super cycle where Bitcoin usually break new ATH.

Keep in mind I never learn about chart, candlestick, trend etc, all of my decision come from my mood and instinct. No stop limit, no follow any signal, no watching my PC for 24/7 etc, just directly buy and sell.

Is there anyone like me here? Cheesy
Early on when crypto was getting established, buying bitcoin without the need to know how to read charts was not really something you could consider and you would get away with it and be profitable, but as times have changed its imperative to ahave these skills to get ahead of the game.

My advice spare some time to know how to read charts and alike.
1837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi Im trader over 12 years of experince here is my goal on: June 26, 2023, 08:31:09 AM
Im trader over 12 years of experince.
I like to challenge myself iwill use mainly moving average indicator.
My goal is to start with 7$ and in 15 days i'll turn this into 229376$
I'll post here results when i have done this my PNL from binance.

7 dollars flipped to over 200 grand,  I don't believe you mate especially that you rely on moving averages alone !!!

What assets do you trade??

Is this some kind of high leveraged trading?

Are you gambling by opening one position and if it goes in your direction,  it's a big catch...

Can we see some proof on this, and  with the described strategy am guessing you are a millionaire because it seems it doesn't lose Tongue
1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which campaign is better? Bounty campaign or Signature campaign? on: June 26, 2023, 06:42:22 AM
It's all depends on the projects budget  and your preference...

And from my experience, over the years have seen bounties pay way over what a signature on average would pay on average because bounty manager negotiated for a good deal and limited the number of entrants to make everybody's time worthwhile ,  but these days it seems a little different because of the nature of how how these bounties have no cap, bounty coins aren't pushed on big exchanges and the list goes on..

But ultimately if you want certainty in pay signatures are the best, but if you prefer a bit of a 50/50 gamble of getting paid peanuts or a potential of catching  a gem then bounties should be your go to place, otherwise it's all about preference.
1839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management on: June 26, 2023, 04:55:35 AM
Besides the take profits,  the use of a stop loss and the alike, I think the use of break even techniques can also be considered as a risk management strategy...as you employ  the use of both stoploss and take profits in it, except here we are moving the stop loss to entry whenever price moves a certain distance say for example 1:1 so that our trade remains risk free and our profits could either be more when chasing the higher targets or price will take us out without losing a dime.

I think one should never take excessive risk while trading.
Especially if leverage is to be considered,  this is definitely  something to always put into consideration which is why risking based on percentage is part of my gameplan...I only risk 0.5% to 1% per trade..though for small accounts my risk allowance doesn't look ideal.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: June 25, 2023, 10:48:30 PM
BetBoom is already in the final and they will play the winner from PSG and GG. That screenshot you posted looks confusing I agree, this one is much better to explain it.

After seeing PSG go down to the gladiators, I was so sure that BetBoom was going to win against Gaimin, but then again for Gladiators to knockout PSG was a clear sign that these boys meant  business and boy did they bring the house down when they faced BetBoom and that's how a point was rescued for me, phew Cool

Btw the guys in division 2 arent playing around when it comes to the competition, and my general performance so far is below average and disappointing...need to shake  this up a note !

Renato297 well played  Cool and great questions cro2  Cry
