1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 27, 2022, 12:59:19 PM
Games that I will be betting on tomorrow.

My first priority is Suns vs Memphis, Suns are currently in a 3 losing streak, and looks like Booker is again questionable, however, because they had an impressive game against the Nuggets, I think I will try my luck putting my bet on Suns moneyline.

Also, the next game is the Warriors vs Charlotte but I'm a little doubtful with the Warriors only -4 at home, I think this is too easy, so maybe it's a trap.
1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 27, 2022, 12:07:37 PM
He will surpass Kareem, there's no doubt about that but stat padding is not on his bucket list. I just don't see it.
About defense, well he had a history of being bad at it even when he was young.

He is not Westbrook, so he will not do that... What Lebron wants now is to win another championship as he is already fulfilled with his individual records, but on the discussions of the greats, winning a championship is his best weapon to be considered as close to the greatest.
Breaking records and been famous is the whole game, it's the ultimate target for big stars in NBA to keep winning and lifting trophies during their space. Lebron is nothing like any player, he already achieve alot over the past years and he will keep winning. He's such an incredible player for young lads coming up to imitate, he is one of the disputed basket ball player with numerous trophies to his archive. Winning another championship would be worth celebrating for Lebron.
It's a big question now if Lebron can still win a championship before he will officially retires. He is not getting any younger, he only have few years in the NBA, so this current roster should give him another championship, however, if Davis will not remain healthy, that will be a big problem in achieving that goal.

Looking for betting odds in game 2?

It's now available. As usual, Bay Area is still listed as the favorite with a spread of -4 in my bookie.
If you are thinking of betting on Ginebra, this is the best time as they are an underdog.

For best odds, you can choose among the bookies.

1864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's been 2 months and now I am doing well.(I guess). on: December 27, 2022, 09:45:32 AM
As I've watched the transaction history, I could say that the people around you aren't yet in the adoption of using crypto as a mode of payment. They are still using fiat money but at least on those numbers, it was still a successful attempt. It will just need some time to gain more crypto adopters, awareness and education are also big factors.

Anyways, all I can say is it was doing well, perhaps it was just an option because what is important is to see our business is growing and profiting.
1865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am Bullish On Bitcoin Despite Bear market on: December 26, 2022, 10:43:32 PM
Perhaps, you don't need to worry OP as this will situation will come and just go also.
As we recall in the past bear season, the market is struggling for 3 years before Bullrun comes and it is likely we are going to expect this cycle again. That is why we never have to think that after we invest in crypto today we will gain profit quickly. Yet, it doesn't mean that we are too hopeless either. We can still be bullish and remains optimistic in the future as we believe that Bitcoin rallies back again just like what we experience last year.
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco on: December 26, 2022, 12:52:55 PM
Looking at the last fight of Loma, I think he is not in his prime anymore. The early 30s to mid-30s are the most common for most boxers to lose their primes. I believe Haney will be the stronger and faster guy and he will win against this version of Loma. As a huge fan of Loma since the start of his pro career, I hate to see him lose. Maybe Haney cannot make the weight and just move up. Cheesy

Nicely said there bro and i definitely agree with you that Loma has lost a step since his prime, maybe to age and that last fight of his was the testament that indeed he is not in his prime anymore. But as a fan of Loma, i give him the benefit of the doubt that his performance last outing might have to do with ring rust as he was out of the ring for almost a year due to war in Ukraine.

The thing with Haney is that he is not a knockout artist like Teofimo Lopez and this might give Loma the advantage as i think he will not hesitate to engage because even if he will be hit with a power shot, he can take it and we all know that Loma is also KO artist aside from being a technical one.

This is going to be an exciting one and BTW, 3 already have voted and its all for Loma hehe.

If Loma will be quicker and smarter than Haney, then will be able to catch him clean and probably hurt him. Haney has only 51.72% KO rate, but he does well in other areas like he can frustrate his opponent until it will be easy for him to score. He is not so focused to win by KO, he likes to take it slow and wear down his opponent if possible, so Loma has to take care of Haney early if he wants to end with a big win.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 26, 2022, 11:22:45 AM
We love to see this kind of energy from the Warriors though, Thompson should lead the team if ever they will go on a winning streak this season without Steph Curry.

This two are bringing out the best out of them, according to Klay himself and it's good to see this kind of competition.

That's out of the question since they've just beaten one of the best contenders in the league and they should not forget GSW is the defending champion and they can still catch up once Steph will step on the court. Klay can be relied on if he continues to play like this one and of course, it would be always a great challenge for him and his teammates to not completely sink their team to the bottom until Steph will come back. Once they find their right rhythms on the court, I'm sure they will be able to give the other teams a real challenge to beat them every game without Stephen Curry.

I loved watching them playing with great chemistry, however, I am a bit disappointed with their road record because it's now below my expectation. If they want to be in the playoffs, they should learn how to win on the road because that will help them in improving their record. The competition in the West is very tight, they cannot be inconsistent.
1868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you really think about trading bots? on: December 23, 2022, 08:42:07 PM
It can't be generalized that all of them are useless and a waste of time as I believe that there are some bots that are working efficiently but not perfectly. I think you are also using one of it (Gunbot), how it does for you OP? I think you can also share it with us so people will encourage to try it.

Well, anyways, bots can only be working well depending on the trader itself. Likely, if a trader had already deep knowledge of trading he can really make a good setup on the bot that will just work according to what haven been commanded. But if you are new, you can never expect that it will become productive but rather expect failure.
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should be very careful with alts on: December 23, 2022, 02:06:55 PM

Keep a track of your altcoins regularly and once you see the slackness in the team it's safer to switch.
It is not necessary anymore if you are only investing in potential altcoins like Ethereum. But if you are in these shitcoins and new projects, you'll gonna do that otherwise it makes you surprised that your portfolio had gone ZERO.

Investing in altcoins isn't a bad idea but investing in new projects is a different story and riskier. As an investor, we need to learn how to assess the projects before investing if we need to avoid losses. Scam projects are flooded in the market which is why we should be careful and cautious with them, especially for hyped projects.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: December 23, 2022, 01:39:41 PM
Also, I'm just confused with Tank's statement lately because he suddenly throws an issue with no proof that his future foe, Ryan Garcia is taking PEDs.

What's his intention with his statement? I think it boost my confidence in Garcia that he could beat Tank if they will fight. This kind of statement are from fighters who are already making excuses because they believe that they have a chance to lose in the fight, so if in case Davis losses, we already know what's his excuse.

Well, guess what? This line and the situation is very familiar lol. Yeah! That was when Mayweather were afraid and worried regarding his perfect record after seeing Pacquiao dominating great fighters.
Throwing excuses during pre fight is worse than making excuses after lossing the fight.
That's the downside of having a perfect record, fighter tends to avoid fighting another great fighter just to retain that perfect record as much as possible until he retires.
Look at Spence and Crawford, the match seems vaguely happens, because non of them wants an L on their records.

They change the real definition of a great boxer, they think that once they retire with an undefeated record, that will make them a great boxer. Unfortunately, that is wrong, not all the time as even Mayweather who retired as undefeated, but still, many fans would choose Pacman over him as the greatest boxer of their generation.

Thurman was lucky to have fought Pacman, although he lose but he will always be remembered as a strong warrior who is not afraid of an L in his record.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 23, 2022, 01:21:50 PM

And we know how powerful playing in homecourt, and the cheers of the crowd is. Anyway, I think that talent-wise, Ginebra and Dragons are not that far apart. If the crowd can boost the confidence of Ginebra in the game, it will be an even match.

Wait, what are you saying? you think that Bay Area is the favorite to win and Ginebra needs the crowd to win? man, sorry but I disagree with you, I think Ginebra has the upper hard, remember the last time they met? Ginebra won by a huge margine, same import, so I don't see anything new from them against Ginebra.

Based on the betting odds on their previous game, Ginebra was the underdog, so I think that would not change considering the fact that Bay Area are the number 1 team in the PBA. Maybe this series, Bay Area is the slight favorite, so for Ginebra backers, this is our chance to bet on Ginebra as the underdog.

Things might change because this is already the Finals. Maybe if we have the series betting odds, that would be better. Based on my research, here's the betting odds for game 1.

This is from a local sportspook in the Philippines, they have an early odds, so we now have an idea if we still choose to bet on crypto sportsbook.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 23, 2022, 12:49:59 PM
We have plenty of games tomorrow.

Bucks vs Nets, this should be a very exciting game to watch, with the struggles of the Bucks recently, I think I will pick the home team to win here, -2.5 should not be hard to cover in case the home team will win.

Also, Memphis vs Suns.. Memphis are a great team but Suns are playing at home, so yeah, Suns for me and I will take the ML instead of the handicap.
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 23, 2022, 12:26:00 PM
What made this issue about them is losing versus an average team like the Orlando Magic.

Can these people treat that loss against Magic as just another usual day in the office for the Boston Celtics?

Even if Orland Magic is sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, it doesn't mean they don't have the capability to upset some teams above.

This season, Orlando Magic already upsets some of the big teams that have a Superstar and All-Star level of players like Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, and Dallas Mavericks. Some of their winnings to aren't being played with the NBA's 2022 Top 1 Rookie Pick this season, Paolo Banchero.

They can just accept the fact that Magic defeat then so maybe they are still cannot believe what happen in that game. Magic is young team except for Terrence Ross and Gary Harris they are also consist with talents maybe they just need a experience to improve more defeating celtics can happen and they can upset the top teams and they need their young star to be more aggressive and hungry for wins.

Magic is a decent team, you cannot discount their talent so we have to respect them.

They have a decent record in their last 10 games because they won 7 out of 10. Though they are not in the playoff ranking but that's already a good development for them. I can't believe what they did especially the Celtics whom they beat twice in a row.
1874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I right or wrong on: December 23, 2022, 03:16:48 AM
There is a saying that " if you can't beat them, you join them " ,is this what's going on with Btc and our government?
So you mean that if you get in trouble with the bad guys and can't beat them, then you have to join and be like them as well?

No, some countries are banning crypto yet their people are still investing. Bitcoin is not controlled by the government, they might have some reason to regulate it but not to stop and remove the right of the people to invest. If we go along with the idea od our leaders regarding crypto, not way they can understand how it works and the benefits we get.
Quote
You can't confuse me that the government aren't buying Bitcoin too, since they knew that this is the real power back to the people, something they really can't control, I'm guessing the only option they have is to join?
Those who understand will invest in crypto but those who remain close-minded, they always on the negative side.
1875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two types of predictors in bitcoin market. on: December 23, 2022, 02:29:24 AM
Unfortunately, we can't make all people believe what others have seen about Bitcoin, haters will exist.
In fact, even the government has never seen it as useful to the community. Banks are against Bitcoin, many individuals also think the same. Even people who are here in crypto are still in doubt about Bitcoin which is why they usually become depressed when seeing the price drop and then say it was the end of crypto.

I could say that the bear season has its purpose. Those who have faith and trust in Bitcoin will hold but those who are not will simply sell their Bitcoin as a response to the market decline.
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your alt bags on: December 22, 2022, 09:33:05 PM

Almost all altcoins are now making new all time low, Gala games for example look like it's going to 0.015$ after holding 0.025$ for months, I have halted my buys right now because I believe that BTC will go lower, what are you plans?
You can include Bitcoin and ETH on the chart as well to figure out that not only altcoins had suffered declines but also potential coins.
But guess what I see in the picture OP, these coins are almost no market value from the eye of the leading investors which is why they suffered the most when the market is in a bearing state. You can never expect them to see it will turn green unless the market had recovered but doubtful if they can make it due to a lack of support from the community.
1877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2022, 09:11:20 PM
The current price of Bitcoin is hovering around $18000. Just pumped a bit today. Bitcoin price has been using $1700 as support for the past few days.
Could the price of Bitcoin fall further?
What do you think about this?
If we only just know what really happens next in Bitcoin but unfortunately, we don't that is why the only thing we can do is to assume that it was already the bottom price or not - or maybe.

Well, at least the price never dumps badly like in the previous bear season where the price of Bitcoin reaches below $5k, we're just more than 3x far from it. But as it was said, we can't assume this will be the last drop that ever happen this bear market, never know exactly.
1878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have anyone heard Bitsler.com? on: December 22, 2022, 10:05:04 AM
Bitsler is an old gambling site and one of the most popular before. I don't know about their status now because I have not been playing with this site anymore since they restricted my account for the KYC requirement. Back in the day, everything was okay, most gambling sites does not require a KYC but now you really need to choose carefully so your money is safe.
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 22, 2022, 09:42:44 AM
Warriors is tanking faster as I expected. They don't just lose but they got completely destroyed. First New York and now Brooklyn put ridiculously high numbers on their basket. Nets made almost 30 points gap in first quarter. That first half 91 points was the franchise record for Nets. In third period Nets slow down for obvious reasons and Warriors made the gap to just 21 points but it went up again after Patty Mills came in. Morris also scored with high percentage. Durant and other starters rested for last quarter.

Knicks' 8 game winning streak end tonight but Nets have 7 game streak now. Let's see if they can pass this. It might be close for them as well as they will play with Bucks and Cavs back to back. It's hard to recover from that fixture.

You can’t just lose the best shooter of all time and expect your team to continue playing at the same level. Not having Stephen Curry is a massive loss and I expect it’s going to be rough in for the Warriors until he returns. They should still be able to beat the below .500 teams and hopefully can keep themselves in the playoff race for when they get Steph back.

That's very important, they should also win some games so they'll be able to have a decent standing when Curry returns. Right now, they are playing like a very bad team, they lose by a huge margin and you can tell they already loss their competitiveness.

Looks like Curry will not be able to come back anytime soon as per this article.

Steph Curry may be out till after the New Year

That means the Warriors will continue to struggle, it's sad to see them like that but I still believe that this team will make it to the playoffs. The more they fall the better there odds are if we like to bet on the NBA Future. As per the NBA Winner betting odds, they are still at the top 3 with 9.00 odds, so bookies also believe that this struggle are just temporary.
1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy more ETH after reading this ? on: December 22, 2022, 09:01:40 AM
Well, we know how good is the trend of ETH, it always comes to follow the flow of Bitcoin and it grows continuously. Every bull season the price is also in a huge rally making people who invest in this coin certainly never get disappointed. If we are not buying during this time, we ended up having regrets in the future.

As the 2nd place of the entire crypto market, we can't simply ignore and reject it.
I have had Bitcoin and ETH held in my wallet for many years and I see a huge change in my portfolio during the bear season but never I think about it because it always recovers first during the bull market.
