1881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The love I have for bitcoin on: March 06, 2023, 08:20:35 AM
Last year December when bitcoin was reduced to a new low due to ftx bankruptcy, most people think bitcoin is dead,  I told most of my friends to buy it as at them, they all refuse, but look at it today, it always stands tall because it is the future of finance.
Dont recommend a volatile asset like bitcoin just like that to your friends. You dont wanna get blame when they burn their money. Yes bitcoin is reliable but it doesnt mean your friends would get rich when they bought it now. Its still a speculative asset but there is no harm telling them what you like about it and give them the rights to learn it as well and let them decide if they want to buy it or not.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about token's price when a listing takes place on: March 05, 2023, 11:36:42 AM
I'm not sure to understand how it can be that the token lost 20% since the only people who are able to buy and sell the tokens are the ones who have bought it on the CEX.
I hope that my question is clear, and I'd appreciate it, if you could help me better understand the reasons behind the decreasing of the token's price in that situation.
Anything is possible when it comes to new launch tokens and its not sure whether youll gain or loss. In a bear market like now, most launch tokens didnt have a nice performance and thats due to low demand since many people are not interested into buying new tokens that arent a solid hit. Even though the project is good there comes time that we experience a downfall even for just a day.but if you trust the project hold onto it and forget for quite sometime.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If btc might lose the support then solana to watch next on: March 05, 2023, 10:04:26 AM
I wonder why solana is on your watchlist when bitcoin loses it support. I think every coins out there might literally a candidate to go down since bitcoin really dragging down any alts when its on reddish state. But based on the historical, once bitcoin go down then theres gonna be more blood bath on altcoins like solana so typically a short in leverage is a good move. However, bitcoin is quite unpredictable sometime that can ruin some short positions.
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: March 05, 2023, 09:43:23 AM
I want to ask everyone, now the number of altcoins is increasing and the prices are various, do you know, in your opinion, what altcoins are still cheap now but have good potential for the future?
I want to hear an explanation from you?
Take a look on those projects that have down 80 to 90% and see their progress if they are still working on their development and update. If it is, then thats likely to recover in the coming bull run. Not all projects can deifnitely go back but only those have real potential and serious to develop their use case om different cases.
1885  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Misinformation about crypto (bitcoin). on: March 05, 2023, 06:32:38 AM
While growing up in the cryptocurrency industry I have had my own fair share of losses while engaging in ponzy scheme believing that they were legit, not knowing that they were all fraud.
I think this is where I got the idea of bitcoin before in cloud mining. I didnt know the technicals of bitcoin and I was believed that its real like Ive got scam thru bitcoin mining which I discovered a fake one. But good faith brings me here on forum to know what bitcoin is really about. Its okay to reminisce how we started when we are learning about it. Thats part of history of our journey to bitcoin.
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In under 2.5 hours Binance AI-powered NFT generator generates 10,000 mints on: March 04, 2023, 04:30:15 PM
Easy as that,
So binance started the collapse of the nft art industry as a whole, specifically preventing new artists from coming out due to the difficulty of judging originality. Also, perhaps spammers will be in the forefront of getting rich with this move, thousands of addresses will be flooded with unwanted nfts.
Not reallt but with what they introduced, it prettt obvious that AI trend is really that powerful since even a giant like Binance would resort to this kind of approach which we all knew break the idea of artistic method of people regarding nft. Well anyone can built such powerful tech for this situation but the question is, are those method will keep nft industry alive? Or just make it worse instead?
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Suggestions About Investment in new projects on: March 04, 2023, 04:00:52 PM
I wanna invest in quizbox.finance and this project looks really amazing and unique. what you guys think about this.
I need suggestions,
The description and your basis of those words are really quite confusing. From the website itself, Id rather stay away and has no fundamental use case for their project. One thing to look for when investing is their product or any worth at all and look on the bigger picture, does it have some useful or very unique utility on their end? Like dbshck said, its token will served as reward. Try to check whether they have some sort of usable feature that will create buyers when this goes to market and reason for them why they should buy this.
1888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before you buy your first bitcoin take note on: March 04, 2023, 12:13:43 PM
Thats a necessary thing to do before buy anything on the market. There are some who just bought without even thinking whats it use and the project about. Bitcoin is an exciting project and learning it before purchasing is a wise move for everyone who wanted to purchase theit very first coin. Read the bitcoin whitepaper and they will knew the whole system it encompasses. Knowledge is a power that we can use to gain profits if we analyze it well.
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Shouldn’t Regulate Crypto Stablecoins, Says Circle CEO on: March 04, 2023, 09:04:53 AM
Only if there are potential risk for some institutional investors like what happened on ust of Terra. Well cant blame them for such incident as many people loss their money for that crap. Now they are being strict on stablecoins implementing proof of reserve but sometimes their thoughts isnt compatible with the decentralized aspect of crypto. Anyone has their freewill to speak or voice out their suggestion but it must be reviewed many times over. Thats why some articles serves as fud to market due to their irresponsible dissemination of info.
1890  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading Or Holdings on: March 04, 2023, 08:49:22 AM
I want to know the opinion of our community that which is the best option. Just do both trading and holding. You need to trade most of the bounty tokens/ coins 🪙 to exchange with the top altcoins bitcoin. And hold the potential altcoins to wait for the raise of their price. I do this way to gain more benefits from the values of the coins/tokens.
If you have a lot of free times then you could simply do trading but if you are busy person then why not become an investor who just doing dca or holdinng coins for long term. You doesnt even need to check the market price or position from time to time since you are aiming for longer timeframe. Yes good mindset to sell bounty tokens to a more proficient projects. Im sometimes do that if I can see that the bounty tokens doesnt have potential.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you planning to accumulate for 2025 on: March 03, 2023, 04:45:23 PM
I have been gone for a while and now I am back, I am fully prepared to build some long term hold bags with the new trending utilities in the crypto space, I still somehow believe that Metaverse and A.I will generate big gains by 2025, what coins are you currently looking forward to accumulating? Out of Metaverse and Artificial intelligence is fine.
Then pick anything related to AI if you believe it would be a trend in the next few years. But for me I think it will always be good to spread your basket to potential projects on different category. Like pick few L1, some metaverse projects, some AI related, some privacy field, some gaming or nft project. Dont focus on one project, we dont know what would be the next trend. Last 2021 bull run, the nft season generated a lot of profits maybe will go to another types or resume the nft season.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: March 03, 2023, 03:25:52 PM
I don't know who needs to hear this but after years of being a bounty hunter and keeping a close eye on how bounties are conducted, it's safe to say most projects make the biggest mistake of paying bounty hunters using their native tokens,~snipped
I think thats quite normal. They did bounty campaign for a reason to let their project known or be spread to community. They paid in tokens to make it more valuable. The problem with different hunters are they are demanding of the tokens that either become worthless. Expect some to dump their tokens cause you cant forxe someone to hold especially when they think they deserve to sell the money from it. Its up to anyone whether he believe on the project he promoted for or simply pocketed whatever amount it could give.
1893  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why recommend when they don't understand the risks? on: March 03, 2023, 03:01:54 PM
Bitcoin is still a gamble. Plus, there's no way to predict that someone might actually develop something that is better than Bitcoin, and eventually we might come to that.
In your opinion, what could be the possible contender of bitcoin in terms of wealth creation that could work decentralized like bitcoin but with a superior one? Im thinking AI hype could unlock something powerful in the coming years which is quite scary when perfected.

More or less Ive been hearing and reading a lot of it lately that even Elon somehow tweet about it.

1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blur price speculation and discussion on: March 03, 2023, 12:53:31 PM
The issue with Blur tokens, for now, is that the team is finding it difficult to find value for the tokens, people are just farming it and dumping it on the market, most tokens are facing this problem, releasing tokens and later looking for how the tokens can add value. I still believe that Blur tokens will increase in value with time, when the emission has reduced and when the unlock of VCs comes out they will need to pump these tokens before dumping them on the retailers.
Thats normal I guess. But I think blur is much better with open sea in terms of features and rewarding platform. Yes nft is a bit overrated right now. But once the market fully recovered from such down, and nft season once again takeover I think blur can up its sleeve for competition. I dont have blur airdrop or investment but seeing their neat platform and cool feature, theres no way this wouldnt do good like any other platform.
1895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why recommend when they don't understand the risks? on: March 03, 2023, 11:56:49 AM
We have different opinions regarding that. Yes risk is always present and I agree, and I even doubt those that posting 50x to 100x are all true. Possibly they are using that as a tool to do shilling and gain from it. There are really some cases of gains like that like the last bull run and I could tell that many experience it too but failed to gain due to greediness and expect a lot of return. Al2ays appreciate gain no matter how big it is. Avoid those 1000x gain when you already have 100x.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: March 02, 2023, 06:31:21 PM
Not sure when we talked about perspective anf technical use case. But Elon offer a heck of utility related to his company Tesla. Well its not defined by theory if he indeed doing that and Tesla accepting dogecoin as payment. If other companies or ties with Elon follow him then possible it might go to the moon. Its all about hype and market manipulations. His word is really a buzz in crypto. Like anything he mentioned even kidding aside were given some meaning by others and use that as a tool for hyping.
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all these crypto-twitter "influencers" are still exist? on: March 02, 2023, 02:11:00 PM
So my question is this: if people are more aware of crypto/ bitcoin and all these scams, why they are giving power to these "influencers" to earn more money and scam more people?
Its not that they are giving the power. They just want to follow someone whose idea can be follow. Its just like copy trading. Someone promote or say I'll buy this and that then they show results. Of course you cant deny that there are some who wanted to have that kind of gain just by following someone. More or less its bit of a hassle to followers who are just been fooled. Im noy saying some influencers are all like that, there are true to their post without any money involved from the project but unfortunately there are who really doing that for money and they got a tons of followers. These people are the one that should be penalize for just using their power of community since they are famous.
1898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trusts on: March 02, 2023, 01:36:10 PM
I've used your method for my kids, and it's the best I've found to be reliable, even if we had some legacy services, I wouldn't be able to trust a third party. I can't trust banks or lawyers, I would rather trust my wife and relatives. Currently, my kids are too young to teach him bitcoin, but I have shared all the private keys with my wife and brother, they are the most trusted people with me.
Yes thats better I guess. Blood is thicker than water no matter what kind of trust you gave to anyone reputable as long its involve huge amount of money, you cant trust them. At least with our family members they can be trusted enough not to double cross us especially if we are talking about big inheritance and a skeptical and sensitive case like cryptocurrencies.
1899  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My father thinks I'm working in a shop,he didn't know I'm bitcointalking. on: March 02, 2023, 01:14:25 PM
One really has to understand that the sacrifice made by the olden days people is responsible for the ease of doing various of things we enjoy today. Not only the aspect of cryptocurrency but the entire aspect of life.
Indeed. We cant so judgemental of those people who are able to build the future now with ease. These days, the generations are really different like they are gonna earn some stuff with ease unlike before. Mostly all of the things that can be achieved with crypto or any financial freedom aspect was indeed due to the striveness of pioneered people. Let them be an example of an inspiration and not brag that they arent useful nowadays.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trusts on: March 02, 2023, 05:59:54 AM
I think we cant say passing yo your inheritance secretly isnt legitimate since Bitcoin is decentralized and not property of government though converting it to fiat might require some taxes so its still a buzz fot being legit.

The better way is to teach your children when they become bigger how to use or unlock it on their own so they knew how to get your money when you died or accidentally gone. Or yet tell someone you trusted like close family member to keep that also and give it to your kids if ever something happened on you.
