Site design is a big factor for me. A terribly designed website will make me think no money to hire a good website designer. https://coinbase.com/ has a sick website, which they probably paid lots of money for, and it looks awesome.

1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. announces forfeiture of $28 million of bitcoins belonging to Silk Road on: January 17, 2014, 12:33:24 AM
I cant even believe this bullshit. Yes I know this news is old, but this is ridiculous. The coins should be paid either to charity, or back to the Silk Road customers. Those bitcoins probably came out of their work paycheck. Who cares what they are going to spend it on, it's still money. Pretty much the government is stealing innocent people's bitcoins and not giving it back. How would you like the feds randomly coming into your house, stealing all your money from your wallet, and just leaving. I can't believe the stupidity of this world we live in.

I'm looking into getting their mastercard. Does anyone else have one?
1885  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: problem with xmlgold.eu on: January 15, 2014, 12:25:13 AM
Hey,
I actually just did a transaction from there from PerfectMoney to Paypal. I would imagine bitcoin would take longer because it has to get confirmed and it isn't instant. Wait a day or two and if you still haven't received anything, contact support.
1886  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: XMLGold.eu review and test on: January 15, 2014, 12:00:54 AM
Yea, I think they are giving 800$ for a BTC right now. 50$ off the current price of 844 is 5%, which is high, but not thaaaat bad. Cryptotrade charges 9% to paypal, and mtgox bank transfers are actaully worse, and take waaaaaay longer.
1887  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: XMLGold.eu review and test on: January 14, 2014, 06:28:43 PM
Dude worst marketing ever, i'ts too freakin' obvious -.-' Just sayin'
Hey,
I'm being completely honest I am not part of xmlgold.
I can prove this by giving you my transaction link. I was generally extremely impressed with this service, so I decided to share my experience with the community.
1888  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: XMLGold.eu review and test on: January 12, 2014, 06:48:46 PM
Wow! I am really impressed with this service. I have ALREADY received the paypal money, and its in my paypal account right now, with another 2% fee from paypal. Awesome service, took less than 5 minutes and great fees. If anyone wants my transaction status link msg me for proof. Has anyone else used xmlgold.eu? I highly reccomend this.
1889  Bitcoin / Project Development / XMLGold.eu review and test on: January 12, 2014, 06:42:34 PM
Hey guys,
I'm unsure about xmlgold.eu, as it seems too good to be true. You can go from almost all forms of payment including perfectmoney, okpay, payeer, paypal, and much more, to any form of payment. You can even go straight from bitcoin and even litecoin directly to paypal. I think the way it workes is you just buy and sell from other real people, and it shows how much of each money type the website has. I will be trying perfectmoney to paypal, and I will update this on everything that happens, and hopefully this site is legit. I am no way affiliated with xmlgold.eu.
I really hope that this works! I am only exchanging 25$ for a test, and there is a 2% fee which is outstanding.
1890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner & MobileMiner: Your Coins. Your Pools. Your way. Win/Mac/Linux/Mobile on: January 09, 2014, 04:58:08 PM
this is great software
Its completely brilliant. I think its the only viable GUI mining software, and the stats and the API implementation with current pricing and profitability is completely outstanding.
1891  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is bitplastic on: January 09, 2014, 04:57:06 PM
Exactly, this is why I can't trust it. I think what it is is that they buy prepaid debit cards, where they can top them up remotely from the internet, so bitplastic handles the conversion from BTC to USD, then they just remotely load it onto the card. Does anyone else think the same way?
1892  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [CONCEPT] CryptoMiners on: January 08, 2014, 10:15:31 PM
Hey,
Litecoin mining and bitcoin mining profitability will go down, and will be unprofitable probably in 2-3 years. I thought you were going to do this soon, so if you cant say you are doing this within the next year, I'm probably out. Who knows where mining will be like in 4-5 years, and I wouldn't want to invest in this. I'd still be happy to support this with info or suggestions, and am still really interested, but again if you want this to be successful you NEED to start right now or within a few months. Remember, less than a month litecoin mining at 720kh/s could make 15$ a day, now thats down to about 5-6$.
1893  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is bitplastic on: January 08, 2014, 10:12:25 PM
If the price went to 0.05 BTC I would buy it instantly no questions asked. 200$ is just too much. Maybe you could lower the initial price, but charge a bit higher on the fees. This would get way more people to get the cards, and you could make much more off of the fees.
1894  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is bitplastic on: January 08, 2014, 01:59:52 PM
Hey,
0.16 is still pretty bad, but its a step in the right direction. For the average person 0.05 will probably the max they would pay. For me, I would probably pay 0.07 or something like that. 150$ for a prepaid debit card where you load more money on it, plus the fees is pretty steep.
1895  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is bitplastic on: January 08, 2014, 12:56:37 PM
It seems legit now. Too bad the price to get one is waaaay too much for me. Oh well
1896  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Launching new game to bring more people to the bitcoin community - Feedback on: January 08, 2014, 02:32:57 AM
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY.
I will be willing to donate many bitcoins (over 10) if you actually start this and give me maybe a small percentage or something. WE NEED THIS NOW
1897  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [CONCEPT] CryptoMiners on: January 08, 2014, 12:30:34 AM
Sorry for not posting in a while, but I was on vacation. Anyways, some guy on this page said that florida was a bad idea. Yes, I agree with that because by default there is hot weather, so air conditioning will cost more, and if the air conditioning fails you are F*cked. Now it may not be possible to move somewhere else, but if this were to be a huge company, move to antartica or alaska where the power is really cheap. Also, there is free cooling there and its pretty empty so there is less people to steal your mining equipment. That probably wouldn't be necessary right now when you are small, but if you turn into something like ghash.io, its necessary to move to a place like that. About my donations, unless I see progress there will be no donations whatsoever. Maybe the OP (does OP mean original poster??? Im a forum noob lol) is just some scammer looking for some free money then hes going to run away. Anyways, thats probably not true but I need to see real progress soon or theres no deal. Maybe you should buy a few rigs and mine in your basement or something and see how you like it, and if you do then try it. And lastly, if I donate I would maybe expect a return like a stock or something. For example if I donated maybe 100$ worth of cryptocoins, you could give me a percentage of your profits for a month or something.
Well, thats all I have to say. On a side note BTC and LTC webt up today, with LTC hitting 30$ and BTC hitting 1000$. Whoohoo.
Antartica/Alaska? I can't just "move" to another place that easily, you know...

Also, if A/C fails, I can just try to override the computer fans at a more higher speed and quickly fix the A/C (My grandfather is an expert on Air Conditioning, so I can just call him and try to diagnose it to resolve the problem).

Also, progress? Just give me a method of contact just to keep you in touch of any updates to the project (Also, please tell me how often you want me to keep you up to date).
Hey,
I guess I wasn't really thinking about when you said this, and I agree its extremely hard to move, but if you get shown great interest into this project, and if you get tons of customers and your business goes well, you probably will need to relocate. Thats only if you get really bix like ghash.io or something like that. About the AC, yes you can override it, but at the 40 or higher degree weather in Florida, its a bit hot for the graphics cards, and running the fans at full 100% speed isn't really good for the fans and the fans will break down a lot sooner, and when the fan breaks the card will overhead without you knowing and will probably cause further damage.
For keeping me up to date and other chatting methods please use my skype: williamj2543 OR you can use my email: williamj2543@gmail.com. Email is probably preferred for updates, but I would like to have your skype for any questions that I can get quick answers for.
Thanks!

1899  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin Interac/Visa/Mastercard debit cards on: December 30, 2013, 09:29:41 PM
Hey,
After looking around on the web I have not been able to find a single real bitcoin debit card thats either visa, interac, or master card. Trading your bit coins to real cash is quite hard and takes long, so a service where you could deposit bit coins on the credit card, and on purchase they automatically trade the bit coin to USD or CAD and then you get your product. Coinkite.com in my opinion is just stupid because no one has the POS terminals and why would you buy a card just for those POS terminals, when no one even has them. Also, the only real card I found was bitplastic.com which is stupid because it costs about 0.3BTC or roughly 250$ to get a simple debit card, which is outrageous for a piece of plastic that banks offer for free on open of an account. I know that credit card services and networks will frown upon bit coin payments, so maybe you could make something like prepaid visa cards, that the company would have access to, so when you deposit bit coin, you could set it to auto-deposit or you could manually convert the BTC into USD, and then it would go on the card. For pricing, I myself would pay a maximum of 50$, but for the general public and for other people and my recommendation, you should price it at 20$, and then add shipping. Fees should be about 3% off of conversions from BTC to USD.
Its only a matter of time before bit coin credit/debit cards are created!

Hey,
I feel very good about this project. We need a bond equivalent for Litecoin just like Bitcoin. I'd be willing to give a couple bit coins if you would give me a spot when this opens.
