Is the website down? I used to be able to access it, but now it says internal server error. Are you doing maintenance?
1383  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [PrimeDice] Track Your Earnings! on: July 24, 2014, 09:12:39 PM
I forget which exact day the prime dice campaign switches on, but maybe do this campaign, last campaign, last week, a dropdown with choices like that.
1384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dafuq is happening with btc price on: July 24, 2014, 08:40:30 PM
The price is really boring these days. Hovering around the 600-700 mark and just slowly falling. I want some excitement!
1385  Other / Off-topic / Re: iOS or Android or Windows? on: July 24, 2014, 08:39:16 PM
Android because you can change anything. Apple is just a walled garden, no customizability
1386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ways To Earn Bitcoin on: July 24, 2014, 02:22:22 PM
The best way to earn bitcoin is via sig campaigns....can't wait until I can participate in one Wink

Haha, it would take some time until you can participate in one..
In fact, you can join the 777coin sig campaign even when you are at the newbie rank. Smiley
You won't make much though, wait till you are at least full member and then you will start making some real money off of signature campaigns.
1387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poll : do you trust an exchange to hold your bitcoins ? on: July 24, 2014, 02:20:48 PM
Only online site I would trust for holding long term is maybe blockchain, and definetly xapo.com's insured vault. Other than that, it could end up like mt. gox again.

i wouldn't use blockchain.info for long term storage. it's still an online hot wallet. and i have heard that it can be vulnerable to JS exploits. for long term storage, cold storage is the only solution.
Currently I am keeping about 0.05 BTC in my blockchain for quick access, and the rest in a xapo.com vault, cause its insured so its impossible for it to be lost. I don't trust myself with cold storage.
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: July 24, 2014, 02:18:52 PM
Bitcoin is actually pretty good for paying your friends for something. Lets say you don't have cash on you and you need to split a bill, you just send the guy some bitcoin and he will pay for you.

That was so well-written and helpful. I find that you should weigh personality to looks maybe 70% or 80% because in 20 years when looks doesn't matter, you will have a nice wife who is not a b*tch. If you have a really attractive wife but doesn't have a good personality, you probably will end up with a spoiled b*tch who will divorce you and try to take your money.
I just asked someone out, a girl that is very attractive and has an amazing personality. We both like video games, we both like food, and we share lots more things in common. I feel like she is the perfect match for me, but she replied "Sorry, but I like you as a friend". What do you think I should do next? I feel like she's the only girl for me, and I couldn't imagine dating anyone else.
Thanks alot for your help, I will use this information throughout my life.

1391  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New profitable, safe hybrid cloud wallet on: July 24, 2014, 01:33:24 PM
Why there are soo many scams/ponzi schemes  websites?
Scammers are getting lazy these days, too lazy to even make one more website. They just keep reusing the websites and hope that stupid people will fall for them.

Congratulations to newbee for winning this years International 2014 Dota 2 tournament. They have won a little over 5 million dollars. The finals weren't very exciting, but a win is a win.
1393  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [PSA] Self Moderated Group Buys are 100% Scams on: July 24, 2014, 02:58:04 AM
I really don't trust anything that is self-moderated. People should use that as a general rule of thumb, or at least to be more cautious with self-moderated forums. The owner really controls the topic and is not transparent, meaning that people could be saying its a scam but no one will know because the post is deleted
1394  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is the best pool? on: July 24, 2014, 02:54:55 AM
I honestly don't know anything bad about ghash.io and cex.io. I used to use them and they seemed fine, I liked their website, their support was good. Aren't they taking measures to stop a 51% attack? Aren't they telling some users to use other pools? What real bad things have they done, that can be proven. I'm not trying to advertise ghash.io or anything but I want to know why they are so bad?

They double spent against BetCoin dice
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=327767.0

They basically did nothing to prevent 51% and they reached it. Their measure now is to spam messages all over the net telling miners to leave, but not taking any actual measures like preventing new connections or increasing fees.
I've seen that betcoin thing before, I assume that was an employee acting on his own part. They are not exactly going to not let people still use their pool, why would they do that. They are discouraging people from joining, but really thats all they can do without forcing people to leave. I just don't see why everyone hates on them, other than being scared of the 51% attack.

How are they not trustworthy?
1399  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is the best pool? on: July 23, 2014, 11:24:38 PM
I like ghash.io, there probably the largest and most trustworthy.
