I also worry about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm leaning much more towards yes than no myself. I'm going to sit this one out. There are already Monero and Boolberry cryptonote coins with proven devs. No need for this plethora of cryptonote clones. We don't need cryptonote cluttered with clones like bitcoin. Oh, and the ANN or lack of one is not a good sign. Looks very rushed and unorganized. |

Ok lets clear some things here.
1) Nobody forced anybody to buy any coins. Somebody even asked here if he/she should buy MIL and we replied saying, you should research thoroughly before investing into anything. Someone posted he made a 150% profit, someone else lost something. That is how trading works, so stop complaining about that.
2) Yarkol has been hired to implement anon. Nobody can do anything about it taking time as it is a lengthy process. Rest assured Yarkol is working hard to get it done ASAP.
3) Threatening here or on PM is of no value since I don't have the BTC with me. As Yarkol (who I don't think was the original dev), even I'm hired to manage the forum and social media.
4) Spreading FUD here is just hurting the coin. If you cannot promote the coin, please do not try to degrade it.

Edit: @hrbt If you wanted a refund, you should have asked before MIL opened on Poloniex at launch (or after a day or two). You took a chance by holding them. You are trying to be on 2 boats here, if the price rises you sell, if the price falls you want a refund. Sorry but that's not how it works.
Well to be fair here, you and whoever else is behind this coin basically did nothing after the IPO except watch the price plummet like everyone else. So before you talk about people spreading fud and degrading the coin, remember that the failure so far of this coin is mostly because of the actions or lack of action by the people behind millionaire coin. Which would include you. And you've had plenty of time to do things for the coin but have failed to do so. Now that the coin is basically worthless you come one here with all these grand plans that are going to take time. What have you done with the time since the IPO? |

IPO price was actually around 0.000234 at launch. So I guess it's not quite as bad as you are trying to make it sound.
Your Statement 0.00565 or $3.35 per coin.
Original IPO Asking Price was 0.000565 or $0.34 per coin.
IPO Final Price was 0.000234 or $0.14 per coin.
Current Price is 0.00001070 or $0.00635 per coin.
This coin has a long way to go but still has some potential. Say someone bought 1000 coins at IPO price 0.000234. This is 0.234 BTC or $138.76. Now the same person could buy another 1000 coins at 0.00001070. This is 0.0107 BTC or $6.35. If or when the developer integrates an anon feature into this coin the price will rise. The question is will the price rise enough for IPO buyer to break even or maybe even make a profit. At this time the price would have to hit 0.0001227 or $0.07 per coin to be at the break even point for the IPO buyer. I believe this can happen if or when the anon feature is added.
i would just say that we got scammed on the big ass i bought for 0.5 btc of MIL and hold with believe a good start and good progress with price. now the price is 1000 satoshis?!?!?!? 1. i demand and i suggest that dev transact us amout of coins at that price that is now for the amount of btc investment on poloniex i still want to support this coin! 2. or if not return BTC's that we invest! 3. if 1 or 2 will not be done we'll meet soon i guarantee that! there are gpu miners for wild keccack now (which is used by bbr). as this coin is intended to be cpu only there is a scratchpad needed for mining (just as a added memory requirement). a gpu dev figured out how to store it effeciently: so we are talking about a hardfork to change the size of the scratchpad (or to change anything else we want to) to be more correct - wild keccak scratchpad is increasing with each block. Now scratchpad is about 7Mb. It will grow about 90MB per year, and, since at this moment scratchpad is not big enough - it is possible to use gpu textures cache to mine it faster, as i know. But according to dga calculations gpu miner is about 2.3 times more cost-effective than cpu, since big advantage gives only expansive cards. PS: Probability of that i'll do hardfork is less than 1%. Now we focused on optimizing miner and implementing stratum pools. Hmm, I based my previous post off of the belief that the GPU miner was 7 times faster. If the difference is 2.3 and will likely become less with CPU miner optimization and as the scratchpad grows, then a hard fork isn't necessary. But that's just my unsolicited opinion. BTW, I like the GUI and have been using it. Going to play around with the HTML. |

There is a GPU miner that is getting incredible hashrates and is being kept private. I do not fault the developer for deciding to do that as it is his work and he can do as he wishes as would I. But If they are getting the performance that has been suggested and is kept private it will not be good for the coin. They might make short term profit but it will harm the coin long term. If it takes a hard fork to rectify this then so be it. |

P.S.A.presidentcoin is the creator of the cryptonote coins Mount Coin, Horizion Coin, and now Orion Coin. Mount Coin was fraught with problems from day one. The dev abandoned the coin with a few weeks leaving miners and pool operators holding bags. His excuse was that the coin was too broken for him to fix and that he was going off to create another coin. Only after outrage, and lots of help, from the community did he offer to create Horizion Coin, which was meant to port the old Mount coins to this new coin. Now he's ninja launcing another coin. That's where the name presidentcoin came from? Are you actually trying to compare an altcoin to a behemoth like Apple that actually makes products that work and are used by millions of people everyday? Darkcoin is just another cryptocurrency that could fade away tomorrow and the world would never know or care. I was a big supporter of Darkcoin until it turned into a cult like following. People need to keep their expectations realistic. Darkcoin peaked and is unlikely to hit the level it was at anytime soon. Also, to those that keep talking "hold for long term", how long are you going to hold? And regarding the common saying used in this thread "shaking out the weak hands", the weak hands have been getting shaken out for months. What is weak about selling for a profit and using that btc to make more profit on other coins. It's not weak it's smart. There is a lot of competition these days. Darkcoins value has always been based off of it anonymity feature and that has not been delivered. You can only push things back for so long before people start doubting everything and move on. On top of that there are new coins using the cryptonote protocol that offers anonymity without the need for a complicated masternode network. Once the GUI is out for those coins and they have addressed bloating on the blockchain, all of the major arguments against cryptonote coins will be gone. I dumped all the DRK I had above .002 and plan on buying back at the bottom which isn't even close yet. But I guess I'm those weak hands getting shaken out. I would rather be weak and rich in BTC than a bagholder. You're right, comparing Apple and DRK is daft - DRK is a real product that's useful to the majority of Planet Earth, Apple is just overpriced niche hardware. I agree with this remark. But I don't think I agree with you about competition. There really is no substitute for working at something and pushing it till you have a practical solution. That seems to be what's going on here. I've been playing around with some "crypto note" stuff lately and I can confidently declare that I think they are garbage. I can't even get my Monero off an exchange because there's nowhere for it to go - no wallet that doesn't require you to be a Unix geek for example. I lost a load of it getting it onto an exchange because I didn't have a "Payment ID". That stuff is going nowhere. The devs can't even get a GUI wallet together for a Mac after weeks of it being launched. The two coins that actually are "happening" right now in terms of development and dedication are: [1] - Darkcoin [2] - Jackpot coin You may think that that second one is a joke - it isn't. I just included it because it's a dream to use and seems to have a Dev that is determined to come up with a complete product that is rock solid, Those two have those things in common and the cryptonote stuff just doesn't. Cryptonote coins are still in their early stages. Darkcoin has 4 months of development lead. Then there is the fact that a QT wallet already existed for Darkcoin to use since it is basically a bitcoin clone. Anyone that doesn't think that cryptonote coins will not be serious contenders if not leaders in anonymity are seriously underestimating them. I'd bet that you have taken at least a small stake in them. Hey, I hope Dark succeeds. To many people have invested more than they should have in it and it would be a shame to see them lose money. But the longer the main feature that has been hyped for months keeps getting pushed back the more people will lose faith in Darkcoin and it will continue to lose both value and support. Without the anonymity feature functioniong 100%, Darkcoin has nothing. |

Gotta say you guys selling at this price in hopes of buying back lower have balls. I'd like to do the same but at this price its far too much of a gamble for me, I think  You should have sold above .002. Many people get left holding the bag while all these people screaming "to the moon" and "it's going to $300", "it will replace bitcoin" etc... Are actually selling and making btc. |
