With all due respect, you can't take that photo out of context. The author is producing a lot of content for several social networks every day. He uses a fun tone even to talk about darkcoin problems or price falls. When he says he is going to go for someone he is not meaning it literally, he is just passing a message to update. I personally don't love the tone, but let's not make it say what it is not saying. Also, as others have pointed before, any of us know who the guy is, where he is from, or if he is a terrorist.
There is no problem with non-compliant miners. The rules now say that you can keep mining darkcoin without paying and that is something you and others are doing. I feel it is not fair because masternode owners also provide a service to the network, just like miners do, but that is clearly not what you feel. Some masternode owners have a lot and others don't, just like miners. I can think of a few masternodes owners who have done a huge effort to get one, just like I know a few miners that have done a huge effort to buy their equipment. Some have done both huge efforts because most masternode owners are also miners!
When the rules change you are free to leave or to play by the new rules, just like any of us.
Yes I'm a non-compliant miner. I thought about running some masternodes but I don't want to tie my money up in a coin I don't believe in. |

I'm struggling to see the benefit of effectively allowing pools to mine on outdated and uncompliant code - it's like they have forked anyway and we're helping them insert and integrate incorrect blocks for... what...  I think Evan wants to respect the decentralised mining ethic as much a possible (well - he doesn't have much choice). "God" is a centralised concept. Ultimately, it isn't god who "flips the switch", it's the mining population. Unless they agree, it's a no show for RC4. So we want a nice, smooth *concensual* transition, not a versioning battle between the devs and the miners. Evan has got the right approach. I don't give sh*t about my few missed masternode payments - keeping all players on board this ship is much more important. +1 ... And now they are threatening pool operators to comply with their 20% tax on miners to support the masternodes that are run primarily by large DRK holders. They have gone so far as to use an image of a terrorist in their threats. The following pools are apparently have not complied with Darkcoin directives and miners are not yet taxed 20%. Mining on these pools is 20% more profitable. I hope the pools refuse to comply with the 20% tax on the miner that is given to the masternode operator just because they have 1000 Darkcoin to leave sitting in a wallet. If DRK is widely accepted and used as a payment option what happens if I buy something using DRK and the merchant says they never received the payment? What recourse do I have to prove I actually sent it to them since the transaction is anonymous and can not be tracked in the blockchain?
