Hi gang.  can someone please explain who and why posts are getting deleted? i thpught thus was an unmoderated forum?!?

appearently it is not.. got some posts of mine removed as well. Appearently some bitcoin forum moderators are dickheads

The forum owner can delete any post they want.  It's their forum and they're doing people a favor by allowing them to use their forum for free.

If I was the owner of this forum I would ban you for calling me a dickhead and then blacklist every IP you've ever connected from.

You don't like the way this forum is run then go start your own.  Pretty simple solution isn't it?

My posts have been deleted as well.  But I understand that I am using this forum for free so I am not going to complain about the owners deleting my posts from THIER forum.

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

I'll leave your thread alone for now mainly mainly because of your post but also because I actually feel sorry for the people that are deep underwater.  They're suffering enough as it is.  I don't need to pour salt in the wound.

Finally, can you please substitute the word "now" to forever?

No

Shojayxt... im going to give you the same respect back.  First off,  im going to assume that your fairly intuitive,  and would figure that why would a person like me be on here.  You would probably guess that i to have my agenda sort of speak.   i did some very indept research and became acquainted to Evan and Internet Ape  and what the plan was going to be back in January,  though they had been working on it already alot earlier.

As part of my own private crypto investment group... we spent alot of time discussing not only darkcoin but several other potential coins.  It became evident that nothing had the robust vision that was being purposed by darkcoin.  we had as a collective a vast experience base in crypto investments.   One of the requirements we had was that we were looking for  long term solution to wto specific concerns to us,  security,  anonymous transactions as well as a look to coming out with  real world solutions for the retail  and merchant space.  Our collective groups background is from  IT and software engineering ,  mine was  having developed a software billing system for at&t and MCI, to retail merchants,  investment advisors and even a doctor.  This  gave us a great prospective on what it would take resource wise,  to tackle this.  We were also aware of what the development cycle would be like and the hurdles that were going to come.

To be honest... couple of things that irritated us was the advertising of firm dates on deliverables as we knew those virtually meant nothing due to the  nature of what was being proposed.   the  other thing that worried  us was the the meteoric price raise.   We could fore tell that this was going to be a recipe for trouble... and here we are.   Obviously no one is thrilled with the price drop that goes with out saying though  it was not unexpected.

I think there are those here that have done a deservice to this coin in the short haul buy shouting from roof  tops dates and price targets and when those  arent met less savey investors start to panic.  we had experienced this numerous times in BTC,  not certain if your familiar when BTC was at $22 then fell to $3.   this happened a number of times to BTC... drove people crazy. We knew what was  coming price wise fir dark,  because we saw it happen a number if times with Bitcoin.

Do I have doubts about Drk?  No way... because the fundamentals are still there  that we invested in... is the  pricing down trend irritating  yes.   Doubts,  we have non because we've collectively been here before,  we know what to  expect,  people like you doing what your doing.... we've seen it all before... and im sure we'll see many more of you.   Let me tell you and those  looking to invest on Darkcoin,  we knew to stay  invested in BTC at that time.  We heard  many like you ... dump BTC for  $3 like your advising to do now.  Never Mr.  Shojayxt.  Your right... im not a moron nor is  my investment  group,  we play to win Shojayxt... and we know  exactly what we're doing and why we are amassing darkcoins!  History again will prove me right.

Mr.  Shojayxt... we're not some kids throwing some dollars around. We are professional investors that know what the hell we're doing.  Collectively Between us... we hold a sizable chunk of this coin.  And let be me very frank with you Mr. Shojayxt... we didnt invest in this to just run this up to just $50/drk.  We can assure you we are in the next few years expecting far,  FAR bigger numbers.  So to investors in Darkcoin ... this is isnt a pump.  You figure out the  rest.  Richard

I think there are those here that have done a deservice to this coin in the short haul buy shouting from roof  tops dates and price targets

You have numerous individuals that do nothing more than brag about themselves and insult people.  That loser talking about buying a Tesla is one of the main offenders and is one of the reasons many people don't care for the Darkcoin community.  Talking about killing people and all that type of nonsense.

I have only been involved with crypto for about six months.  Darkcoin was the first coin I got into.  I made some money off Darkcoin but made the bulk of my newfound wealth off of what was called bitmonero when it was released.  I mined the crap out of that coin using EC2 instances right after it launched and nobody was mining it.  I am not a supporter of that coin because it's now completely manipulated by a few people.  I made a ton of money and that was my goal.

I am going to have to disagree with you about the future of Darkcoin or any other anonymous coin.  If they ever start to be used for any significant amount of transactions governments will try and put a stop to their use.  I'm not trying to promote any other coin I'm just making an example using another coin.  Say for instance governments crack down on the use of anonymous cryptocurrency.  If you were using a cryptonote coin it would be rather hard since there is no centralization.  The anonymity is built into the coin.   If you are using a coin that is not completely decentralized like Darkcoin using masternodes it will be easy for the government to shut it down.  If a US Attorney showed up at Amazon headquarters with a court order from a Federal Judge they would shut down every masternode using their services immediately.  This is one of the reasons I lost interest in Darkcoin.  Because it can either be shut down or monitored due to the masternode network.  I think it's a bad design with plenty of opportunity for exploits.  I liken every masternode as a potential point of attack.  Then couple that with the fact that there are people setting up masternodes that can't even keep malware off their home computer and the potential for exploits goes up significantly.  I seriously doubt Darkcoin will have any significance just six months from now.  At the end of the day it's still based off of old technology and something new will replace it.  Bitcoins only saving grace is the fact that it was first and will have already been widely adopted when a newer and better form of cryptocurrency comes along.  But in the end even Bitcoin will fade away replaced by something better.

Also the decision to take 20% from the miners as an incentive to operate a masternode was just plain wrong.  You now have a network where the wealthiest are literally taking money out of the pockets of the little guy.  And why are they getting 20% right now?  They're not doing anything except holding 1000 DRK.  Pay them when they start to actually perform the function they're intended to.   Add to that that the amount of actual masternode owners is a very small percentage of people invested in Darkcoin and you start to get  a coin and network that resembles the network of the big banks.  Darkcoin may not be centralized but it is definitely not decentralized.  I think the methodology used to achieve anonymity is flawed and can't be fixed.  Darkcoin has taken the wrong approach to achieve something and it's in too deep to turn back now.

The same can be said of the dominant cryptonote coin.  They talk a good talk but at the end of the day the bloated blockchain is not sustainable.

So now you know why I stopped being a Darkcoin supporter.

I'll leave your thread alone for now mainly mainly because of your post but also because I actually feel sorry for the people that are deep underwater.  They're suffering enough as it is.  I don't need to pour salt in the wound.

Ouch!

Shojayxt.... you  keep helping my cause,  keep preaching... ill keep buying!  i have no doubts about this coin.... and im pretty certian your buying drks though you lie about.  keep it up.

I'd hold off on buying right now while the price keeps dropping.

Please tell me what other Anon coin I am in favor of?  You can't because it's not true.  Why do you post lies?

Monero and cryptobloat cryptonote coins in general. and now that you sold all your drk for btc you are trolling drk to protect your btc investment. what other alt's do you hold?

I'm trolling here to protect my Bitcoin?  Ha ha ha!  I can't believe some of the things you guys come up with.  I'm terrified, I'm nervous, I'm protecting my btc.

Please explain how I'm protecting my btc investment by posting in this thread.  Oh wait, you actually think Darkcoin is going to replace bitcoin and by my posting in this thread I think that I will keep that from happening.

I've heard a lot of nonsense but this is getting to be like the twilight zone.  You guys are seriously losing your minds.

Yes lets be realistic.  Directors of corporations and wealthy people are not going to be using some altcoin like Darkcoin.  Do you actually believe that?
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | RC4 Testing on: July 30, 2014, 02:04:51 AM
Fact 1: If Drk was developed before Btc and Ltc, no one would care about Btc and Ltc.

Fact 2: Btc was meant to be anonymous and the fact that it isn't turned off big businesses concerned about being tracked. Think US multinationals keeping all their earnings offshore. They do it to avoid tracking and taxation.

Fact 3: Btc is being regulated to death because all transactions are traceable.

Fact 4: Illegal financial activities are primarily executed by corporations and banks. Money laundering, manipulating LIBOR, manipulating currency, selling fraudulent subprime securities, rigging metal markets, printing money out of thin air, funding terrorists in Iran. All banks. Zero prison time.

Corporations will find many uses for something like Drk. This is guaranteed. Some will do good with it, many will do bad. Put the bad ones away. This is not Drk's fault.

Corporations are not going to use DRK.  Nobody believes that so why do you guys keep saying it?

R.I.P. DRK

Start calling me FUD again, but DRK has been moving lower and lower...

I'm just sitting here waiting for that RC4, then I'll put up the buy orders. I guess, there are many of us doing the same thing, while the Litecoin multipools keep unloading darkcoins waiting for us to buy them.

Why wait?  Why not start buying right now and get some buy support on this coin.  In fact where are all the STRONG HANDS picking up these cheap coins that those pathetic WEAK HANDS are dumping?

DRK is as cheaper than it's been for months yet there is no buy support.  Why is that?  Don't you guys believe in DRK?

Maybe that Tesla guy should put his money where his mouth is and use some of his Bitcoin riches he claims to have and start buying.  I wonder how the current price of DRK has affected his purchase.  I sure hope he bought his dream car before DRK crashed.

that shoyax et al is a troll who wants to undermine DRK in favor of another Anon Coin

Aren`t you overestimating his power? And doesn`t he write stuff which is directed against ANY anon coin?

So yes, neither Darkcoin, Cloak, Monero, or any of the other so called anonymous coins will ever gain mainstream adoption.  The future for cryptocurrency transactions is Bitcoin.  The coin that overtakes Bitcoin will be a coin that is faster, smaller, so easy to use any idiot will be able to, etc...  It won't be an anonymous coin.

An anon coin probably wont surpass bitcoin. So? Whats your point?

Tell that to the fanboys who have been saying that Darkcoin will replace Bitcoin.

I do however see that you agree with me.  That takes some guts in this thread.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | RC4 Testing on: July 29, 2014, 09:11:38 PM
The view on regulation and anonymous currency has been asked and answered of the relevant US Regulators.

Non disclosure of financial transactions on a blockchain ledger is not a reason to stop anonymity tools such as Darkcoin.

If anyone here thinks they know more than the public official paid out of taxpayer money to defend the USA against financial crime, they are simply fools that deserve to be ignored.

I don't know why you guys keep posting an interview of Jennifer Shasky Calvery.  She doesn't set policy or enact laws.

They need a scapegoat to blame for the decline in price so I have become public enemy number 1.  They don't want to believe that the majority of people and merchants will never adopt any anonymous coin.  All we've heard for months was how Darkcoin is going to replace Bitcoin.  Merchants will widely adopt it.  Businesses will use it for B2B transactions.  None of that is going to happen and they are starting to realize it.

One thing that hasn't been discussed is the fact that when you make a purchase from Dell, overstock .com, or other merchant that accepts Bitcoin is the fact that you are not actually sending the btc to the merchant.  The transaction is processed by coinbase similar to the way credit card transactions are processed by third parties.  No merchant of any significance is going to handle an electronic currency transaction themselves.  Those transactions will be processed by coinbase or one of the other Bitcoin payment processors that are likely to emerge as Bitcoin becomes more widely adopted.  None of these processors is going to handle transactions for an anonymous cryptocurrency.  There are FinCen regulations that they are required to comply with and they don't care about anonymity.  They care about collecting the processing fee's.

QED

That is why the trolls are here. Not because they care about putting the world to rights, but putting their agenda on the map.

We have seen them all here, undermining DRK because they have been paid to troll or they have stakes elsewhere.

Why would you expend so much energy, practically every minute of the day posting in a crypto forum?

QED, thank you.

I am missing you here. What did I demonstrate? That I am a troll or that shoyax is a troll who wants to undermine DRK in favor of another Anon Coin?

that shoyax et al is a troll who wants to undermine DRK in favor of another Anon Coin

And what other Anon coin would that be?  I have not promoted another coin in this thread.  In fact I have posted that Anon coins are just a passing fad.  Kind of like country coins, color coins, etc...

Please tell me what other Anon coin I am in favor of?  You can't because it's not true.  Why do you post lies?

Now 849 Master Nodes

And yet the value continues to go down.  I'm not going to go back and find the posts but there were many saying that more masternodes would increase the price.  That was the argument used to justify taking 20% from the miners.

I wonder how the miners feel now?  They get 20% less of the coins they mine and the value has declined significantly even though you guys went on and on about more masternodes means increase in DRK value.  Why hasn't the value gone up?  Care to answer that question?  Sounds like all that talk was just more nonsense.  There have been so many false promises coming from DRK fanboys that it's impossible to keep track of it all.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | RC4 Testing on: July 29, 2014, 08:15:43 PM
The new New York regulations, which will likely be adopted by other States once tested and updated, will soon capture online gambling sites that primarily use Bitcoin.

Here is why:

s.200.2

(m) Virtual Currency means any type of digital unit that is used as a medium of exchange or a form of digitally stored value or that is incorporated into payment system technology. Virtual Currency shall be broadly construed to include digital units of exchange that

(i) have a centralized repository or administrator;
(ii) are decentralized and have no centralized repository or administrator; or
(iii) may be created or obtained by computing or manufacturing effort.

Virtual Currency shall not be construed to include digital units that are used solely within online gaming platforms with no market or application outside of those gaming platforms...

Because Bitcoin can be used for other things than online gaming, it becomes a virtual currency. That means it can be captured by the online gaming laws in the USA, Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.

If you offer online gambling using crypto and a US Citizen uses the services, then the operators of the online crypto gambling site will be arrested unless you get a licence in concert with a physical casino operation that is already regulated.

The lack of privacy in Crypto means that users can be traced and it can easily be proven that overseas gaming sites are allowing US Citizen to gamble. If you run such online gaming sites, those crypto coins you take as profits will follow you around until you set foot on US soil or come under extradition requests.

Here is the thing, given the demographics of the crypto space and the popularity of online gambling, there will be a lot of people caught by these regulations.

Operators around the world will no doubt have their details added to Federal arrest warrants. Users of online gambling, including sports betting and poker, are also potentially at risk of arrest.

Yeah, good luck with that non-anonymous payment option you're using.

Timeline: Internet Poker and the Law
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/investigations/poker/time.html

Like I've said before.  Darkcoin will be used mainly to do things that are against the law.  So you just made a case for using Darkcoin to break the law and proved my point.

Lets see an example of a mainstream merchant like Dell accepting Darkcoin?  Oh wait they process Bitcoin transactions through coinbase which falls under FinCen regulations.  I'm sure that they will be quick to adopt DRK.  Not!

But hey, a bunch of gambling addicts will be able to gamble online without getting in trouble.  That's the future of Darkcoin.  Nefarious activities.  Not mainstream adoption.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | RC4 Testing on: July 29, 2014, 08:09:49 PM
Everyone i have the pleasure to introduce to you Mr. Shojayxt...this persons knowledge of cryptos knows no bounds.  You should absolutely take his statements on here as sound and sagely advice and would base your financial future and well being on his profound teachings.  He has taken it upon himself to help all us investment noobs and morons on the dangers of this coin and has saved as all from financial ruin.   I can never find a words enough to thank him Mr.  Shojayxt is a humanitarian.

Most of my statements have more basis in reality than the comments coming from several of the fanboys in this thread.

I would expect a Darkcoin supporter to accept DRK if they happen to own a business if for no other reason than to say they accept it and use it as an argument when someone like me points out that there isn't anywhere to spend DRK.

There are many people that have already posted in this thread that probably wish they would have taken my advice instead of the advice from the fanboys in this thread advising people to but DRK when it was .018.  Looking at how things stand with this coin right now who's advice do you think was correct?  Mine when I said it would go lower or the fanboys advising people to buy?  It's pretty obvious that I was correct so mocking me doesn't make any sense.  I was right and my advice was correct.  That's a fact that can't be denied.

Mr.  Shojayxt.   Again your so correct.    i certainly based on your advice  have decided to no longer accept Darkcoin at my winery or restaurant and now a few friends are also thinking about not accpeting them either.  Your timely advice haa shown me the error if my ways. Everyone... can we all thank Shojayxt for again... help us morons to know the future. thank you.

There may be quite a few morons posting in this thread but I don't think you're one of them.  I also think you're starting to have doubts about Darkcoin yourself.  Any intelligent person would.

anonymity + accountable transaction.

Wallet shows real payee, not middle address.

I think next will be so called stealth address for merchant and donations.

Could you elaborate are you referring to DRK?

Solely DRK.

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/development-updates-july-15th.1788/

anonymization phase and transactions phase are separated.

No need special S/W for accounting.

I think anonymity for sender/payer is almost completed.

Now anonymity for payee is remain.

DRK has normal transaction. So adopt other tech or develop by Evan's way.

The world has already adopted another coin.  It's called Bitcoin.

But how could a merchant or donation address be public yet remain anonymous? Is there some special new feature for this on the roadmap?

It doesn't matter.  Mainstream merchants are not going to adopt Darkcoin.  They will however continue to adopt Bitcoin.

Darkcoin will only be used for P2P transactions and purchasing from underground nefarious websites similar to the now defunct Silk Road.  So unless you're buying illegal drugs off the internet there will not be many places to actually spend Darkcoin.

If it's used for P2P transactions you'll still have to declare and pay capital gains taxes if you convert to fiat.  At least in the United States.

And the whole thing went down to 80 because some dude is moving just a 2000 dark wall at 89, yesterday at 97.. It's just ridiculous.
This game of buying low is going to kill the coin..

Well then buy that wall and get rid of it.  It's only 17 Bitcoin.  Surely this community can come up with 17 Bitcoin.  I'd buy it up but I'm not going to be a bagholder.  Besides, I'd rather hold Bitcoin than Darkcoin.

Come on fanboys!  Put your money where your mouth is and buy buy buy!  All those posts from people about more cheap darks.  Well get to buying those cheap darks and get some buy support into this coin.

I am fucking loving this, sell sell sell sell

This is like people selling bitcoins during the crash from 7 USD. Same conversations, different Trolls. Why the comparison with BTC? Fundamentals. There are more than 800 masternodes already and first REAL TRUSTLESS (yes please do look that up) has gone through. You have an excellent dev team. So please sell I really thought I would never be able to afford another masternode until today!

Thanks!!!

Oh and why am I posting this? Because I already secured my MN today!

yup remember that $7 crash of BTC... it was like the end of the world.  Funny how history repeats its self.

This is nothing like that.

Times have changed.  Bitcoin is king.  Nobody but a few schizophrenic paranoid anarchists care about Darkcoin.

There is no way you can apply the history of Bitcoin to any of todays altcoins.

Looks like it's going to be one of those days... Roll Eyes
I'm asking myself how do they not have something better to do than to waste their time here. They aren't even welcome at all.
Less than a month before RC4 I guess.  Smiley

Don't flatter yourself.  It only takes a few seconds to make a post.

The market doesn't care about RC4 anymore.  Traders have moved on and potential investors have been ran off after being attacked by your resident fanboys simply for asking questions.  Time for you guys to put your money where your mouths are and start buying up this coin.  I can't count how many times someones posted "More cheap Darks".  Yet the trading doesn't reflect anything but selling.  Scrape together all the bitcoin you have.  Heck, mortgage your house to buy Darkcoin.  It's the future isn't it?  What are you guys waiting for?  It's time to buy at these prices isn't it?  Why is everyone selling?  RC4 is just around the corner isn't it?  Gonna change the world.  To da moon!!!!!!!!!!!!
