I think most of us did. I did profit for holding for at least 5 months, which is kind of nice because it gave me 5 times return. Then there is this case where I ended up badly instead of profiting because we all are a newbie at some point and thought to ourselves "Hey it's increasing, maybe I should hold this much longer" and the next moment we are at the lost. Well, maybe that's how we learn our lessons, from mistakes (Atleast in my case) and learned that we should be grateful if we profit and should just take it, that we should set our own limitation because most altcoins don't last 6-12 months but instead only gives you hope and die in the end.

Well, it's really up to the masses if they are going to believe them or not. Those people calling themselves experts are just speculators and predictors which is their opinion. Those opinions are base from their perspective and is neither truth or false. If the said that "Bitcoin is a bubble", it's their own opinion, because the truth is, it's kind of sad how the market shifts in just a month, from $20,000 to $10,000 and currenctly sitting at $6,000, no wonder they are calling Bitcoin as bubble. But It is kind of our fault that it came this way, it's greed that lead us to this negativity. But never worry as the future is still bright for us.

Usually liquefying your investment would be a smart choice in this kind of situation. Before I invest in a dip, firstly what I do is research about what is happening and If I have enough information, I'll conclude on what I'll do next. Mostly I invest into Bitcoin for safely and risk some of my capital into altcoin because the volatility in this kind of market are greater than Bitcoin, meaning, profit is greater but at the same time, losing is just as great. Also, I risk choosing coins that doesn't have that much market capitalization.

Hey this is actually true. I've tried sharing crypto once to my friends, and so I help them. There's this one time where I help them get started into crypto. I introduce them in the other forum where they post to earn. It was an easy money back then, they earned a lot of cash without doing much but they become quite greedy. When it all ended, they started to ask me where can they earn some bucks and then I introduce them to this forum, I told them it's not that easy to earn money just like real life, after a few weeks, they started to lost interest. I can see that cryptocurrency in our current situation is not for everyone.

There are quite a few reason. Bitcoin is still not suitable for small transaction (What I mean small is, buying coffee and foods). As our community grows, the weight of the network is parallel to it. You are blind from the fact that Bitcoin is being use around the world as a way of transaction just like in the Philippines. People use it to avoid fees and other things and also to transact their money faster.

I don't exactly see what's bad about it though besides the fact that it is the cause of another FUD. Well, it's been like this for the past few years and it's not new. Just hold your horses and keep calm. It'll be back to $7,000 again and investors would profit again from it because that's how the market works. You could invest now if you want because I think this is just a temporary dip. But well, I might be wrong because anything could happen in this space, we just need to be prepared for it.

Over this past few years, cryptocurrency has been treated a store of value rather than a means of transaction. The sad truth is that people tend to join the train not because of the potential of Blockchain, but because the profit that they will gain in here which is a fact that you could earn thousands of dollars here, but I think that's how Bitcoin survive over this years. A lot of experts has been giving their opinion about the market of cryptocurrency which followers around the world are taking their advice. They predict future market movements and stuff which most of them are quite good at but it's up to a person's perspective if he is going to believe it or not. But one thing is for sure, only time will tell what would happen to cryptocurrency which is why I don't take McAfee's prediction too seriously. I think he's just hyping things to make it look at little bit better. Remember that coin where people thought he said it's going to be $15 at some point? Guess what it shoot up so high and when he clarifies that it's only $1.5 that's when bad things happen.

In my opinion, private sales are a way to sell their coins and to ensure that their project will reach the soft cap. There are coins that held a private sale that succeeded. They held a private sale which in turn kept their chance to succeed and bring the product to the public. They target large investors that are serious and preserve as much money as they can, meaning more funds are being use to development. Yes it is risky if you don't know who is running the project that's why before you invest, research and analysis is the first thing that you should do. Private sale is also a way to make some serious cash for serious investors.

The fact that a transition from Dollars to another currency is scary enough but with this current system, it's inevitable. If you look at Blockchain's technology, you can see how innovative it is. It is being studied around the world by experts to fully understand its concept. That technology alone is worth thousands or even millions of dollars which Bitcoin being the use had inherited its value. Just wait for a few years and you'll see the full potential of the Blockchain.

A smart investor know how to liquefy his investment. Bitcoin is just one cryptocurrency, meaning, you'll only depend on it. If it's market price dip, then it's a total loss and there's no going back. Also, Bitcoin's market capitalization is so high that profiting from it is slim and if you don't have serious capital, then you won't profit much. While altcoin in the other hand. Altcoin is also known as alternative coin which means it is an alternative for Bitcoin and there's a lot of them not just one. Altcoin gives you greater chance to profit as it is volatile than Bitcoin. Also, the market capitalization of altcoin is low (depending on the coin), meaning, a coin's price could increase 10 fold in just a moment. So yeah, I think selling your altcoins to buy Bitcoin is a bad investment strategy for me.

Well, I could share to you what, me, as an investor want. The first one we seek in a project is its white paper because detailed information are written in there. If people are satisfied enough with your whitepaper's content, they will consider it. People want to see what the project can do, who's the team behind it, what's the company's name, some background history, and such. Because let me ask you a question, who wants some tokens that have an unknown company making some projects asking for money? No one. Next is probably how the team communicate to the community. I mean, we want some activities happening, the things the project had done, some positive news, how they handle their marketing, and some assurance (But this part depends on the perspective of a person). Investing is not easy, people consider a lot of things before they invest.

Market doesn't work exactly that way. Most of the time market shifts in an unpredictable way. Anytime soon we could get that bullish run that everyone is waiting for or this bearish runs will last for like a year or two. Since the cryptocurrency is slightly different from all the markets in the world because of its well known volatility, we only can predict the future of it. Its volatility factor depends on the current situation of the world, the news, and economy. Let's just hope that this bearish market ends soon.

Anything could happen in the cryptocurrency space though. Prices could swing downfall till December or upward but I also believe that Bitcoin's price could potentially reach its new all time high at the end of the year 2018, it's just that, a lot of bias medias are against it. Even giant investors are making moves to deteriorate Bitcoin calling it "bubble" and such rough words. But it's part of the process and we should be staying calm all the time. Well, this game is all about patience in investments and having faith in your portfolio.
