1901  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Views.pw and Cost.pw on: September 07, 2015, 09:09:31 PM
I'm interested in bidding on one or both, could you tell me what ideas you had for the 2 sites?
For views.pw, I was planning to make a basic PTC site, perhaps with USD and Bitcoin integration. I didn't follow this because I wanted to create a proper script, which I never got around to.
For cost.pw, I wasn't completely sure since it is such a broad keyword. I thought about perhaps trying to make a link shortener or ad network, but never got the motivation to start either.
1902  Economy / Auctions / [WTS] Views.pw and Cost.pw on: September 07, 2015, 06:55:49 PM
Hi,
I bought these domains a while ago with intentions to develop them into sites, however I have lost a lot of motivation and time since then. With this in mind, I've decided to auction them off.
This auction is a copy of this one - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1172877.0 - without the typos.

Domain Info:
Views.pw
  • Start Bid: 0.01BTC
  • Minimum Increment: 0.001BTC
  • Expiry date: 12/24/2015
  • Registrar: Namecheap

Cost.pw
  • Start Bid: 0.008BTC
  • Minimum Increment: 0.001BTC
  • Expiry date: 11/25/2015
  • Registrar: Namecheap

Domain transfer is free to other Namecheap accounts. I would much prefer if you would create a Namecheap account for me to transfer it to as there would be no other fees.

Auction Rules:
  • If you bid, you intend to buy. I will add negative feedback to invalid bids.
  • If you are under a Full Member, I would prefer you to add some kind of proof of funds.
  • No proxy/ghost bidding. Bid for the amount you intend to buy for.
  • Auction ends 72 hours after last bid (on each domain)

Please post below to bid. PM me or post below if you would like any further information.

Thanks and happy bidding!

I'm sorry, it turns out that I cannot read. The domain I am supposed to be auctioning is views.pw. I really can't imagine why I got that as wrong as I did.

I will lock this thread and create another when back from school. Apologies for the wasted time master-P.
1904  Economy / Auctions / Re: Visits.pw and Cost.pw on: September 07, 2015, 05:47:27 AM
I searched visits.pw at namecheap and it was available.

So bought it.

Snip
That's strange, I wonder if I made a typo in the domain somewhere. It does say that I have the domain on my dashboard, I checked several times before making this auction.

I'll see about adding proof when I get back from school.

1906  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] netflix account for a cheap price on: August 31, 2015, 02:06:41 PM
I really doubt that you will get a Netflix account that allows you to change the password for that price. Almost all cheap Netflix accounts are cracked and belong to someone else, therefore the original owner can just change the password back using Forgot Password should you change it yourself.

The only way to get an account which you can change the password of is by buying a year long subscription. However, this is a lot more costly and I believe that they aren't offered by Netflix anymore.

You may be out of luck.
1907  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: August 30, 2015, 01:27:14 PM
if faucetbox not give profit why more people still use faucetbox api  Undecided
I think that he means you can't get much profit from using or running a faucet. It's the same even if you offer direct payments, there is very little profit margin.
1908  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How do these faucets with impossible to find captchas get high on faucetbox? on: August 30, 2015, 12:06:16 PM
The site is likely made correctly, then the layout changed once accepted onto the list. Just report the faucet and it will likely be fixed or taken down.
1909  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How to get free Bitcoins fast with Faucets on: August 30, 2015, 11:54:56 AM
am i only one who cant enter address in it because of an advertisement? also its pretty hard to understand what you say
No, OP is just a scumbag.
If you're going to try making a guide on how to make money using an irrelevant method, at least don't try to exploit your users by whoring out a few ad clicks through misleading and misplaced advertisements.
I urge anyone trying to use this to just use FaucetBox's or Ifaucet's rotator, as there aren't any whore like ads on either service, unlike OP's. You would likely make more coin as well.

Oh, and finally, this belongs in Micro Earnings, if it is even legit.

Unfortunately, censuring those posts won't help the uninformed public suddenly become informed - it will only ensure one side of the argument is heard, while the other isn't. Personally, I'd rather see those posts, and the ideas they expose (regardless of how much I might disagree with them, or how fundamentally wrong they might actually be), challenged and defeated in an open, rational debate.
Although, in general, the little debate that does happen on such posts (not counting those that happen here) is always silenced by those agreeing with the original, incorrect post. While you have a good point, a lot of the discussion going on the posts is the general public agreeing with the OP as they do not know any better.

While some sources are definitely better for discussion, I don't believe that some post by a 20 year old on Facebook calling the race card because 'he is my brother' does not do anything but perpetuate negativity and create tension between the majority and minority.
1911  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: August 30, 2015, 11:42:04 AM
And posting here probably won't help you, as Kazuldur is not in charge of approving the faucets (as far as I know). Just be patient and your faucets will be accepted in due time.
1912  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is safer? Blockchain.info with 2fa or freshly wiped online comp w/ multibit on: August 30, 2015, 11:32:11 AM
If you're storing a significant amount of Bitcoin, just invest in an offline Raspberry Pi to store your Bitcoins. It is only about $30-$35 to buy, and with it being offline your coins have no risk of being stolen through a hack of malware.

However, to answer your original question, Multibit is probably the best option with a secure password. I have stored my Bitcoin on my main computer for several years and, while being very careful of what I download and open, I have never had my Bitcoins stolen.
1913  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should we kick more people off welfare? on: August 30, 2015, 11:16:52 AM
Welfare benefits are soon becoming the easy way to get out of working, which is wrong. Of course the elderly and completely disabled should get it, however those who claim they 'cannot find a job' should be found a job by the government and forced to do it properly for their pay or sent into military service. There is always a lack of manual labor in almost every country, forcing those who are too lazy to find a job into those spaces will both help the economy and increase the amount of manual labor done.
1914  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Texas: Guess the Race of the Guy Who Just Shot a Cop in the Back for No Reason! on: August 30, 2015, 11:13:12 AM
The racial tension is being perpetuated by the uninformed public, which really does not help.
Similar to the tensions between those of Asian origin (Pakistan, India) between native Englishmen over here in the UK, it seems that whenever someone of the majority does anything negative towards the minority the race card is always pulled before anyone really looks at both sides of the story. In order to have all of this calm down, I believe that the stupid racial posts that you see on sites such as Facebook and Twitter must be stopped, as they seem to trick the people seeing them into thinking 'its because he was black', when in reality that is not the case whatsoever. The OP is also doing this, though he is too close minded to see it.
1915  Other / Meta / Re: Is "account farming" frowned upon. on: August 30, 2015, 10:55:18 AM
As has been said previously, add to conversation in a meaningful way and there is nothing wrong with having several accounts. This especially so, since people will likely have no idea it is an alt unless you straight up say 'I am this person'. If you go around into threads just posting 'yes i agree +1 Cheesy' (Which I see a surprising amount of people doing with no negative consequences, despite reporting them) it is very likely you will not make money from the account, as no one will want to buy such a low quality account, nor will it be accepted into any sort of respectable signature campaign.

snip
I see where you are coming from, but like what has been said by members such as Quickseller in the past (I believe), sold accounts are rarely used for scamming, more for earning off of signature campaigns. I see no problem in this as long as, like I previously mentioned, the posts are of decent and acceptable quality. I believe that there should definitely be better policing towards extremely low quality posts, as they rarely add anything at all to any discussion and serve no purpose other than cluttering the forum and increasing post counts, I am not a mod or an admin however so I cannot nitpick.

Also, please stop using line breaks in the middle of a sentence for no particular reason. It makes your posts significantly more difficult to read in my opinion.
1916  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info API not working for over a week on: August 30, 2015, 10:37:39 AM
It seems that the basic API is working on my website, however I have only tested the create address API. I am unsure if anything such as the wallet or payment APIs are working.

Try contacting Blockchain support through their Zendesk, they tend to give fast and helpful support.
1917  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many transactions ? on: August 30, 2015, 12:57:11 AM
Currently at 1543. Been using the same wallet and address since mid 2013, so the transactions have built up.

1918  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Office 2013 Key on: August 30, 2015, 12:49:43 AM
Just a warning, a lot of Office 2013 keys that you will likely be sold will be from MSDN subscriptions. These keys can be revoked at every time if the admin account they were generated by is reported. However, I bought a key from an MSDN subscription a while ago from a seller here and it is still working fine.

If you want a legitimate fully working key, it will likely cost you quite a bit of coin. On the other hand MSDN subscriptions are substantially cheaper however come with the risk of being deactivated at any time.

Good luck with your sales.
1919  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Old newbie accounts on: August 30, 2015, 12:44:41 AM
The entire advantage of these accounts is the creation date, which is completely irrelevant imo. I would not trust an account made in 2010 over one made in 2015, especially since they could both very easily have the same trust value and post count.

Also, the account could have added an avatar before the restrictions were put in place, however one cannot be added currently. Just because it was made before the avatar restrictions doesn't make it exempt from it. Since my account was created in 2013 I was allowed to add an avatar to my account before I was a full member, which is why I have had it since I was a Junior. However, if my account were to still be a Junior I would be unable to add an avatar currently.
1920  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] <Steam Account> on: August 30, 2015, 12:31:22 AM
Show us the games, inventory and other things to prove that the account is as expensive as you say (For example, a SteamDB calculator screenshot with some of the information blurred out if you would like to keep the account private).

Also, don't expect to get full price for what the account is worth. You will likely get significantly less.
