1441  Economy / Services / Re: Paying some one to make Bitcoin faucet. on: December 10, 2015, 01:05:51 PM
would take quite som effort with the weekly payment run and such?
Myself, I don't really think it would. All it would require would be to have a CRON job which would run every Sunday or so which would get all pending payments from a database and send them using an API.

The hardest part about making this sort of faucet script would be making it secure. Bots are a very big problem in the faucet world as of late, and stopping them is a rather difficult job. Making the script its self would be fairly easy in my mind.
1442  Other / Meta / Re: Losing hope here.... on: December 10, 2015, 12:49:29 PM
That's incorrect in my humble opinion.
There's a lot of places on the internet where people congregate and talk about Bitcoin, this one being only one of a few. Even if this forum went to shit and/or shut down, people would just move to a different site and continue as they were previously. This forum is insignificant on the future of Bitcoin because of this, same as a forum about the Russian Ruble would be insignificant on the progress of the Ruble its self.

I don't get any payout:

 Huh
This site is pretty old, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work as it should anymore. Either way, the OP hasn't logged in here since 2014, so you probably won't get a reply. You can try the contact page on their website, though for 0.000055BTC it seems like it would be a waste of time.

We may have a new competitor for the record, our very own moderator mprep. 1008 Activity, still Hero.
1445  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary one day? on: December 09, 2015, 02:28:06 PM
Throw me on there too if you don't mind, I didn't realize my activity as almost 800.
1446  Other / Meta / Re: change profile name on this forum? on: December 09, 2015, 02:27:21 AM
I know 1 guy here who changed his username recently, does that mean he paid that much (around 19,000 USD based on that times exchange rate) just to remove a few letters and numbers to his username?
If you're talking about Blazed, very trusted members of the forum can have one-off name changes for free. I believe the same happened with Lauda (I think they used to have a letter at the end of their name, not sure though) and Mitchell/Bitcoininformation. Since they are small/one-offs the admins can live with it and it will cause little confusion I expect, though if they wanted to change their names more I expect they would be told to buy Donator.
1447  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators condone trolling, but ban people for it? on: December 08, 2015, 12:53:45 PM
No, I've never blocked you. Or at least I don't think I did. If I ever said that I did, I don't remember.
In that case, I apologize for jumping to conclusions.

In a professional forum for work full of mature model citizens, I would say they could find positive ways of having fun while doing their work by giving friendly compliments to each other, or organizing friendly fundraisers and events to have lively, useful discussion in exchange for great ideas in promoting and enhancing Bitcoin through bold, new, and exciting concepts.
I can understand where you are coming from, but in a forum where rules are specifically set to try and enforce no one ever getting offended, posting something which isn't explicitly encouraging/praising someone will be extremely difficult, and staff intervention may end up even being seen as censorship. What I mean by this is that, as proven by you and I, people have very different interpretations of what offensive is. By trying to enforce one person's rules on what is and isn't offensive is difficult, as what one person may see as harsh criticism another may see as a direct attack on them. I wouldn't find a forum where people are scared of giving criticism a fun place to be at all.

I'm not trying to insult your ways, but since you can make statements like that, I don't really believe you'd know too much about etiquette or sophistication in my humble opinion.
I can see why you would think that. I believe that I can be sophisticated, however only in situations which require it. I don't see an online forum that I mainly visit for personal enjoyment, not business, as such a situation.

I suppose people as yourself seem to believe work is about goofing off or not taking situations seriously. That is fine. I am an overall strict human being when it comes to work. Some people like that. Some don't.
As said previously, I do not see this forum as work at all. I perhaps used to, however that is no longer the case. The little money that I do make from this forum goes back into other ways to enjoy myself or side projects of mine. I have means IRL of generating revenue for my actual life. If you see this forum as a place to work, good for you, however do not expect others to conform to your expectations. Especially so on the internet; that is a very unrealistic thing to hope for.

No offense taken. Have a good day.
Same to you.

1449  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: December 07, 2015, 11:31:46 PM
Look, if you don't agree with me or agree with my posts, just put me on ignore. Starting unnecessary arguments with me when you should be worrying about more important things is childish so I'm just gonna put you on my ignore too.
I state valid points and I'm making 'unnecessary arguments'. Good logic.

Bye. Enjoy wasting your life away and arguing things that don't matter.
I have plenty of time to waste, not everyone here is as old as you think they are. Grin
1450  Other / Meta / Re: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? on: December 07, 2015, 11:30:13 PM
from where you get the information vodaljepa?
Since the post has been deleted, I'm guessing that it was either a misunderstanding or misinformation. I doubt he's banned.
1451  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: December 07, 2015, 11:25:21 PM
snip
Vod is retired at an early age. He has (what I expect) is all the income he could need, and methods to earn more should he need to. Judging someone's life based on their age and what they enjoy in their spare time isn't too great of you, in fact I'm sure you would be offended if someone did the same to you.
1452  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators condone trolling, but ban people for it? on: December 07, 2015, 11:22:52 PM
For me personally, I do not believe in acts like that to have any type of part in a professional forum community. Even joking would not be tolerated in my upcoming forum because it is strictly for work. Work should be taken seriously.
I will be very surprised if this forum lasts longer than a few months. Without anything other than work it will become very boring very quickly, providing a safe haven to every special snowflake that needs it won't change that. If people can't handle being told they're incorrect and throw a tantrum every time they don't deserve to have items such as a computer and internet access. Perhaps a rattle and a sandpit would be better suited.
Not belittling you or whatever, just stating my opinion. I expect that I am on your ignore list anyway, so unless the ignore feature magically breaks again like it has with hilarious several times you won't see this.
1453  Other / Meta / Re: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? on: December 07, 2015, 11:15:52 PM
I am never making another thread again until THIS one is answered.
While I do always want the staff to help out users' queries, please don't answer this one.

1455  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 〖ⓉⓊⓉⓄⓇⒾⒶⓁ〗 Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: December 07, 2015, 08:03:46 PM
Anyone know how to add 2 captchas? I thought I might as well ad recaptcha on top of funcaptcha as it's so easy to complete and should help.
I went through the basics on where to put the confirmation code here, if you know how to code in PHP it shouldn't be too difficult to add the captcha yourself with this info I don't think. If not I can try and make a more in-depth post about it.
1456  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 07, 2015, 07:58:02 PM
I would say faucetbox has worst security that cannot block bots being used on some faucet. Thanks to Cloudflare who help me out for a time. I am thinking to throw faucetbox away if this bot thing is not being solved. Faucetbox taking so much fees and still it is worst than microwallet.
FaucetBox has done a lot to help out with bots, in addition to a lot of members of the community. Tell me, if it looks like a human and acts like a human, how do you find out it's a bot? Cloudflare are experts in this and their service revolves on it, which is why you are likely to get a higher success rate. FaucetBox does not, and only helps out against bots because they want to. They have no obligation to do so.
Also, I'm fairly sure that Microwallet didn't do anything whatsoever in their faucet script code to prevent bots (at least didn't at the time that I last checked), it's simply that bots were a lot smaller of a problem back when Microwallet was around. If you were expecting to only have to use the FaucetBox script with no other modifications to combat all bots, you are sorely mistaken. Have you tried some of the things discussed in these threads?
1457  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: December 07, 2015, 06:40:29 PM
Because, all online companies/interns are mainly based on ads and if ads are disabled, there will not be a single traffic in this forum except admins, mods and some signature haters like you... YES! MARK MY WORDS.
Yeah, no. I know that I would likely still be around (along with a lot of other members) should signature campaigns be banned. I am just using this as a means of getting some pocket money, same as (I expect) a decent amount of other members.

That doesn't help anything, as the post quality would still remain the same shit regardless of if you could see the signatures or not.

Good luck with your ignoring spree and FYI, signatures will stay in this forum FOREVER.
I wouldn't be so sure; if things carry on as they do now the spam from worthless members would become so large the forum would likely have no option but to ban paid signatures.

Just check out the number of impressions every ad gets each round > https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adstats Roll Eyes
Those statistics are for the ads placed on the forum (below the first post of each thread/page), not signature advertisements. At least do your research before trying to act smart.

Do you have some sort of difficulty with parsing simple English or something? Unless you can provide solid proof that the site is a scam (using whichever method you like), stop posting. Simple as that.
