1461  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 06, 2015, 09:49:34 PM
Is someone on this forum know 100% contact info with faucetbox.com team? May be they even don't know that such problem(can't login, etc) exist?
I've sent them an email through their support system telling them to check the thread, not sure when they will read/come back to me on it though. I must say, as a long time supporter of FaucetBox, I'm somewhat disappointed in their service here. I suppose it has only been a day, though Kazuldur has been usually fairly quick to at least reply to things like this when they happen.
1462  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] a-ads.com: advertise your business, monetize your traffic, earn with us! on: December 06, 2015, 06:52:16 PM
Do you know if m***owads support this?
Or which is the best paying advertisement company, paying in bitcoin? Or via paypal but i don't like to send some of my photos, info etc to Google Adsense or other similar...
This isn't the place to talk about competitor's services, though very few ad services allow incentivizing user's clicking on ads and I wouldn't suggest trying it.
Also, the best paying for me personally is a-ads, though that may be because I have been using it for the longest.
1463  Other / Meta / Re: feedback spammer on: December 06, 2015, 06:46:22 PM
This is the sort of trust that the user was leaving with another user so it was perhaps removed to it being repeated. Since the trusts are different for you it may not be as obvious as spam, though it should still be removed. Have you contacted him about it recently?
1464  Economy / Auctions / bitads.co - 0.003BTC start on: December 06, 2015, 06:41:25 PM
Hi,
I registered this domain a little while back, and would like to sell it for a fairly low price. This includes WhoisGuard with the domain.

bitads.co
  • Start Bid: 0.003BTC
  • Minimum Increment: 0.001BTC
  • Expiry date: 29/11/2016
  • Registrar: Namecheap

Domain transfer is free to other Namecheap accounts. I would much prefer if you would create a Namecheap account for me to transfer it to as there would be no other fees.

Auction Rules:
  • If you bid, you intend to buy. I will add negative feedback to invalid bids.
  • No proxy/ghost bidding. Bid for the amount you intend to buy for.
  • Auction ends 72 hours after last bid (on each domain)

Please post below to bid. PM me or post below if you would like any further information.

Thanks and happy bidding!

1465  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] a-ads.com: advertise your business, monetize your traffic, earn with us! on: December 06, 2015, 06:27:02 PM
Is there any rule of using ads?
Could i say on website click on ads and you will receive 50% or something like that?
If you mean the rules on incentivizing clicking ads, it's not listed on either the FAQ or ToS that you can't do that. However, I would suggest checking with arsenische before doing so.

Visitor will click on ads and 10% will go to my wallet and 90% will go to Lottery wallet [ Forum based lottery ]
So user will be warned " Click on ads to support our lottery wallet "
If you want to do that, you would have to split the funds yourself I believe. I don't think that a-ads supports revenue sharing like that by default.
1466  Other / Archival / Re: Where's the money, Lebowski? on: December 06, 2015, 05:57:00 PM
Can you read properly? All of those apart from theymos's address have the proper amount of Bitcoin or more.
However, 250BTC of that from paraipan is lost since AFAIK he passed away a year or two ago.

Sure they are. Click on the contracts.
What do you mean?

The post has also been updated recently, June 11 of this year.
Yeah, I believe a treasurer was removed as he/his wife tried to extort the forum to have a post removed.
1467  Other / Meta / Re: feedback spammer on: December 06, 2015, 05:43:32 PM
I don't think the removal of that kind of trust is removed automatically though, so you will need to ask (maybe theymos will remove all the trust sent from him if just one person asks, IDK).
He's done that in the past when I reported a trust spammer to him. He removed the spam left on me and other users.
As said, just contact theymos and he will be sorted out.
1468  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 06, 2015, 03:17:32 AM
be aware - You can do the faucet on phph style withinclude faucetbox api ond some stuff?

Would be rgeat to know

regards
lama-hunter
Why are you quoting almost half year old posts? Are you really that desperate for dust from your sig?
Anyway, yeah, you can just use the FaucetBox Library and code it yourself. You don't have to use the FaucetBox script to make your faucet.

Quite correct minifrij . This was just another example of how the script could be called really, depends on the individual server set-up.  Smiley
Thanks for the quick answer. That makes sense, just depends on coding style I suppose lol.
1469  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 06, 2015, 03:06:25 AM
Is it possible to add simple faucet game while waiting for next reward !?!!
It's possible to do pretty much anything to this code, though you would need to know where and how to edit it. To add a game you would have to either custom code it in or pay someone else to do it for you, though the code is easy to understand so it shouldn't cost too much.

or this code should work on most PHP servers ...

Code:
require_once($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/bad-behavior/bad-behavior-generic.php');
Could I ask why you use the $_SERVER variable at the beginning instead of just directing towards the bad-behavior folder straight up? Shouldn't it automatically find the files regardless?
1470  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] AdBit.co - Advertising platform, better than clicks/views! on: December 06, 2015, 02:30:12 AM
Cant Login - to get the new codes for my adspaces! when i try reset passwort: user not found! i had different advertisings running and a lot of adspaces on my site! PLEASE FIX THAT SOON!
Same problem here  Embarrassed
Hope they fix this soon...
Then I suggest you submit a support ticket, as this thread isn't checked very much by the owner these days. Check the above posts for ways you can contact Carlos/AdBit to get your problem solved.
1471  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] New "Ancient" ranking / higher than Legendary on: December 06, 2015, 02:21:05 AM
Indeed. Technically the name "activity" is false because it does not accurately represent the activity of a user. It would be more accurate if it was called e.g. "age" or something similar.
Though if it was called age, I don't know about anyone else, but I think it would just confuse people more. They could think that instead of an arbitrary value, it instead corresponded to days/weeks/months. That and it isn't completely about the age of the account, since the Activity value is based on the amount of periods active. Personally, I think changing it to Age or something similar would just confuse more than help, though that may just be due to me being used to the current activity system.
1472  Other / Meta / Re: Can we at least get the GO UP / GO DOWN buttons turned on - PLEASE? on: December 04, 2015, 11:33:54 AM
Why not just use the Home and End buttons on your keyboard?
1473  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: December 04, 2015, 11:03:53 AM
Vod is too old to be here anyway. Most of us are ages 13-26 I don't understand why he's here. He doesn't get paid to be here, so what is he doing here anyway
Some people do go on forums and post for something other than juvenile interest or for pocket money you know? There isn't an age limit for this forum, there are likely users much older than Vod that are active here.
1474  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Paytoshi: Micropayments & Faucets on: December 04, 2015, 11:00:11 AM
And why would botters keep botting if all their tries gets blocked? So maybe there is some getting through since they don't stop it.
You would have to ask the admin of the site, but I expect that the bots blocked counter doesn't check anything apart from captcha activity. This could mean that any user that gets the captcha incorrect/starts the captcha and doesn't finish would be counted as a bot on the system. While I expect that there have been a few bots blocked by the captcha, I seriously doubt it is as inflated as that figure makes it out to be.
1475  Other / Meta / Re: List of known bitcointalk spam bots? on: December 04, 2015, 10:56:04 AM
What shit was he trying to spam? Ads?
IIRC he was spamming some KNC miner hate and begging for funds.

Surely if he was farming accounts, he'd have the decency to change his name...
He did, he didn't only use the name MrFudged. He just made several hundred/thousands of accounts for each name he made.

And how many units of evil would his IP have?!
I think he used TOR, so had a different IP every time. If he did this on a static IP he would likely be spending hundreds of dollars per account he made by now.
1476  Other / Meta / Re: List of known bitcointalk spam bots? on: December 04, 2015, 10:49:24 AM
No. Mostly users just report them to moderator or post in the meta section. I have reported several of them to both Meta and to moderators and they all got banned shortly. If you see them, just put the link to the copied post and state that it's copied. It will work just fine.
For some repeat offenders (such as MrFudged) I believe a bot has been set up to detect and ban such users automatically, rather than them having to be reported and banned manually.
1477  Other / Meta / Re: Vote for Boycott of FORUM BASED games. Poll inside on: December 04, 2015, 10:46:53 AM
I think there is a difference between a LIKELY scam and someone posting an address claiming to take investments, don't you?
Whether the scam is likely or not, the post is not removed. What that means is 'Scams are not moderated'.

While I can see where you are coming from, there is no need for them to post a website. If Investor Based Games were a sub-board in the Service Announcement board perhaps, however since it's located in Games and Rounds, there is no need for a website to be present. The forum doesn't (and shouldn't) have to hold users' hands to stop them from getting scammed. People need to just start using their brains to decide from themselves if a service looks shady or not.
1478  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Paytoshi: Micropayments & Faucets on: December 03, 2015, 11:25:58 PM
When using Funcaptcha what plugin type should I  use with Paytoshi?
I don't think it particularly matters; it's just personal preference. I would go for the most secure type, but again it's up to you.

And can someone tell me why amount of "bots blocked" is so high? Should I be worried about that?

snip
I believe that the FunCaptcha statistics for "bots blocked" is usually inflated compared to the amount of legitimate bots blocked. However, since they are being blocked there is nothing to worry about I imagine.
1479  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 03, 2015, 11:22:57 PM
Seemingly in-script blocking does not function unless the FaucetBOX look-up service is enabled i.e. via NastyHosts.com
From what I remember the part of the script which blocks hostnames, IPs and Bitcoin Addresses is seperate to that of NastyHosts. NastyHosts is a service which scans unblocked incoming hosts for any suspicious behavour (if the hostname is a VPS etc).
1480  Other / Meta / Re: Is Theymos anonymous? on: December 03, 2015, 12:47:20 PM
Trade Fortress actually doxxed Theymos. That's why he's banned.
Fairly sure he just posted an existing dox which was on the internet, but was just banned from this forum.

I think he paid for donator just to change his name, lol Cheesy
TF has been donator since long before I even joined, probably at least 3 years at this point (if not more).

Theymos is pretty much known as Satoshi's first mate
Eh, I'd say that Gavin got closer to Satoshi as he was entrusted with continuing the project as a whole and with the Alert Keys to the project.

he's basically the admin of bitcoin.
He's the admin of a lot of the Bitcoin community (BCT & r/bitcoin), not Bitcoin its self.
