interesting part is that people who are waiting for confirmation of trend reversal (which i think already happend and bubble deflated at $65) for $120 mark then they will have to buy back half the coins they could have at $65.

People here often show 2011 bubble to compare to 2013 one but they seem to don't see that no matter what, after one bubble there will be another 10 times bigger. This was the case 3 times now and will happen again. Then why one is trying to hit the bottom to buy if they can just buy now, sit, relax and enjoy the ride to the top? They will profit anyway and trying to hit bottom may as well end up in losing coins.

Because having 1,000 coins is very different to having 500 coins.

Hitting the very bottom is pure luck, but buying 50% lower than you sold is quite achievable in a Bitcoin bear market.
1924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 19, 2013, 12:40:34 PM
IAS, I think we will definitely visit the '50s but I'm not sure if it will happen so fast as in your extrapolation. My impression is that we have entered a "slowish" phase, and I don't expect impulsive moves downwards for the moment, just sideway trading + a few dumps that will gradually take us down for a while, mixed up with bounces and traps.

Regarding the SatoshiDice thing, I'm honestly not expecting big dumping by the shareholders who received the monies. My guess is that the big dump related to the SD buyout already happened, insiders dumped before the thing hit the news, as usual in both BTC and FIAT world - and that IMO explains at least partially the dump that took us to the '80s from the high '90s.

The dumping of SD shareholders don't seem to me like a probable bearapocalypse, what really intrigues me is when the SD buyer bought his +100k coins. Did he bought in the last weeks? In the last months? +100k are big volume, and I wonder how much of the big moves upwards triggered in the last weeks are direct consequence of the buying of the new owner of SD. If he did most of the buying in the last weeks, and thus is responsible of the impulsive move upwards from $66 to $104, I think the lack of buying pressure will be much more relevant than the eventual "dumping" of SD ex-shareholders.

You thinkwhateveroshi will ban you from his thread if you keep buying up IXCoins increasing their exchange rate?

Or you think he'll ban you if you try to make IXCoin look even more batshit crazy than whatever it was those occupy people tried to put out?

-MarkM-

Vlad thinks that "the IXCoin" guy will ban him from the IXCoin thread if he realizes that Vlad has an evil and super-effective plan to pump and dump IXCoin.

Vlad is broke but generous, he is giving us the heads up so we can humbly participate in his masterplan and get rich quick:

Buy ixCoins if you can but if you see huge buys its provably me so let's not kill each other, ill give you 3 days to buy and then you give me 3 days.  My blocks are usually at least 50,777 when I buy ixCoin.
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 19, 2013, 11:51:14 AM
Banned? What the fuck are you on about? Banned from where or what?

-MarkM-

I can ban anyone from this thread if they act up or insult me which is pretty much most people.  But I'm not like that.  If the ixCoin guy doesn't like my over the top tactics about pumping ixCoin he could ban me from his thread and also if I'm gonna own a bunch of his coins I wanna be on his good side so I know what's happening down the line.  The guy for some reason wants things really white.  My quests is he's accumulating millions if ixCoins.  I barerlu bought 120,000 ixCoins last week and I had to raise the bid from 26,000 to 17,000. That's huge jump.  But I wanted to get to 1% badly so inlaid the orice.  I can feel it something is going on with ixCoin and after the ETF it's gonna get much much more so and the market will be cornered by guys like me so any banker will have to pay crazy prices if they want in.

The fact one mod sympathized with you doesn't mean that you can ban people from threads you start. The ixCoin guy cannot ban you from his thread at bitcointalk.org. There's nothing in this world you really understand, isn't it?

And BTW, the mod probably sympathized with you because he didn't read your posts, thus he didn't realize that YOU are creating this shitstorm, YOU are the troll, and YOU are insulting people with everything you post in this useless thread.

BTW, you should go to bed, its almost 5AM where you live, mate.

And sorry, but anyone launching a coin will do it to Make money.

Do you think that Satoshi created Bitcoin for profit, do you really think profit was his motivation? You would be pitiful retard if you weren't a cancer for cryptos, and one of the worst kinds, because you are so deluded that you actually think you are a savior.

Things that succeed and stick long term are designed to SOLVE problems, to fix things. The only problem you want to solve is your own financial situation. But I can tell you and everybody in here can tell you too: you will fail miserably. If I were you I'd be looking for a job instead of spending endless hours in here spitting nonsense without reading a single post. If I were you I'd think about my kids and I'd stop burning money they may need in the future.

Ahaahhahaaaaa.   No Satoshi did it for society and communist communes.  lol, That's why he's hiding.

Ahahhahahaaa.

Man, its so funny the level of stupidity if the common man.

Dude, have you not yet figured out who Satoshi is?  Ahahhahahaaa and I thought I was naive.  This isn't naive, it's sheer stupidity.

Quoted for posterity.

I think you should really go to bed now, it looks like a mental breakdown is incoming, keep your truck and your diesel jacket and provide for your family and step off these forums before you go totally nuts.

These are words of wisdom Vlad, try to read the above post a couple of times and then think 10 minutes before trying to reply.

I'm calling it, this will just get an off-topic long-winded reply about his family and anecdotes about growing up to somehow prove he's not a scammer.

And you won, where do we send you oscar ?

Cheers

Indeed, he half read the post and waited exactly 0.05 seconds before replying. This guy is just crazy. I guess we are just wasting our time in the worst possible way.

My personal prediction is that without me here, even though most think I'm a bad distractive element, I predict that in just 2-3 days this thread will nearly die without me.  I know most think, no way, the opposite will happen so I can't wait to see if I'm right cause usually I'm right about things like this.  And if I'm right I'll tell you in a few days why this thread died without me here even though common sense says;  you're nuts, people hate you, people will finally get stuff done and be productive once you're gone cause you're the problem standing In the way of progress for this coin.

You and this coin are the problem standing in the way of progress. This coin is not progress. Progress for this coin is not progress. Progress would be putting this crazy get rich quick scheme behind you and buckling down to the real work of enhancing the common weal/wealth of the community: improving the security of its blockchains, improving and increasing the number of services serving those blockchains, refraining from making blockchains look like pyramid schemes, ponzis and tulip manias, there is much that could be done in the way of progress, all these hours so many people are spending trying to help you could have been spent on gosh knows what projects that would be actual progress, but you keep ranting on and on about god's own ponzi pyramid of which you are his chosen maniac...

These are words of wisdom Vlad, try to read the above post a couple of times and then think 10 minutes before trying to reply.
1931  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 19, 2013, 10:48:55 AM
Guys I just answer call from customs. Seems like my Avalon is actually sent :O

Well, first report of batch #3 on the way. Didn't you get a tracking number, maybe on Avalon's page?
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 19, 2013, 10:23:33 AM
Or here is another useful idea: get the ability to be "themed" added to more and more bitcoin clients, so that anyone who thinks a soccer mom theme or a catholic theme or a 200 years ago gold miner theme or whatever will increase adoption or be popular or whatever can theme a reasonably secure chain, a reasonably valuable currency, to target their target audience instead of scamming their target audience with a house-of-cards ridiculously insecure pyramid scheme / ponzi / tulip-mania scam?

-MarkM-

That was my basic premise for a popular household name with a soccer coin or catholic coin but everyone shit on it like everything else.  I think people just lack imagination or guts thinking nothing will work where I think anything will work if you lush hard enough and have a sound plan and strategy. And God'a blessing of course I otherwise its all hopeless, like my coin now which I was certain I had His blessing so I'm confused.

Ok, see you hopefully in a few days.  Hopefully with NUGs still alive.  Thanks again.

It never crosses your mind that maybe is your approach that is totally wrong? Don't you realize that when everybody agrees on something, maybe the one that is mistaken is you?
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 19, 2013, 10:17:50 AM
You say devs did nothing for you, that's false. Experienced people have explained in here over and over why your coin was DOA, both from an execution POV and a conceptual POV. They really spent a lot of time trying to help, but you don't want to listen, wasting everybody's time in the process.

You just spend 95% of your time posting useless things like your family history, and then you complain you don't have time to read posts on your own thread that are addressing the problems of your coin? That's the very problem you need to address, if you just cut all the crap out by now you would know how to copy and paste the buggy line of code in the right place. Just check this crapcoin for dummies guide, in the time that it takes you to write 3 TL;DR posts you will have learnt how to fix the code yourself and push the changes to github.

I predict that in just 2-3 days this thread will nearly die without me.

You are way beyond delusional. Nobody thinks that people will finally get stuff done for this coin if you go away. If you do step out this thread will finally die, hopefully a mod will lock it for good, and you know why? Because your coin is just another poorly executed useless clone, there's nothing worth saving in it. Among the thousands of lines you have posted in this thread, there is not a single reason why "this coin is different", or why "it deserves saving".

You have repeated the same pattern since day 1 you registered in the forum. Your first 40 posts are about how it was possible for people to be mining LTC with only a few kh/s or mh/s, because you didn't understand that different hash function results in different hash rate with the same hardware. In between your 40 rambling posts people did try to explain you why they could mine litecoin with just a few MH/s, but still you didn't read a single post for days, you just went on rambling.

As I said earlier, you are either one of the biggest trolls ever or you have a serious mental problem, mate.
1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MyBitcoin has started spending our stolen coins on: July 19, 2013, 09:27:48 AM
OK - reading this was quite interesting.

And to be honest it gives me a new appreciation of FinCEN.

It looks like this Bruce Wagner guy was involved and has been involved in several other financial scams before, including legal judgements against him. It thus seems unlikely that if he operated an exchange instead of an web wallet, he would have been able to get FinCEN approved.

So even though I don't like a lot of the bitcoin regulation crap, what I'm taking away from this is that if you are going to use a web wallet, make sure it is at an exchange that has the FinCEN paperwork in as well as any state MSB paperwork in. That reduces your risk of being scammed like this.

This is why I did such an awful thing as it is necroing the thread. This deserves it I think, it's a good read for the noobs.

1940  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Store Batch 3 Status just went to "Refunded" on: July 19, 2013, 08:28:35 AM
The status of my order just changed fm "refunded" to "refund processing".

Mine too. Maybe they realized there was people freaking out because their order said "refunded" while they received no coins, so Avalon decided to change it for something clearer.

Hoping the coins arrive soon, seeing that its already Thursday (end of the day in China) and no batch #3 tracking number has been reported I'm very happy I asked for a refund.

It's a pity, I really wanted to have one of those new black beasts, but both the current difficulty and the miner price are too high.
