1941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 30k Range again on: June 24, 2022, 04:54:46 PM
This is just a short term speculation, it is possible that if bitcoin price rise to $28000 or $30000, there could still be selling pressure at that point which could plummet the price down back to $20000 or below. But this period will favour buyers that have long term ambition to hold, there can be volatility within certain range, but all-time-high would not likely take more than 3 years from now.
Note that you are talking about a 50% increase, which in the current bear market situation is very high. I don't deny that such a rise could happen smoothly, within a few weeks or even months, but so far I don't see the reasons for that. Unless the bear market ends and the bull run returns.

The bull run doesn't have to return to see a 50% increase, remember in 2019 when price rose from $4K to $14K? That was all in the context of a broader bear market, with price making a lower high and then collapsing back down to $4K again. I'm not suggesting a 300% increase this time around, as price hasn't fallen as far, but the equivalent dead cat bounce from here to the 0.618 fib retracement would be around $50K.

I'm not even suggesting the bottom is in here, or the bear market is over, this depends more on what happens around $30K when price returns there. Just that many are overlooking what a continuation of a bear market looks like, even if price doesn't make a new low, and it would look like price rebounding to $50K before dropping back down to $25K by the end of the year or sometime next year (12 month later).

Even if price did drop to $12K, the expected dead cat bounce within a bear market to the 0.618 retracement would still be around $48K, as the percentages don't change that much.
Just now a 50% bounce sounds very unrealistic to me. First we need to at least consolidate above the key 22-23k level and then talk about a bounce to 30k. But so far the situation doesn't remind me of 2018, 2020 or 2021. The only similarity is that bitcoin is falling heavily, but before there was no global crisis and now there is. So it seems to me that there is still some way to drop. I don't believe in Fibonacci, I don't even understand what it is and why the price should go there.

1943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC transaction so slow on: June 24, 2022, 09:27:20 AM
Transaction speed is not the only bad reason why bitcoin is foolish to use as a means of payment. Returning a purchase and its value is also very difficult because bitcoin is volatile. It seems to me that the best way to buy goods is to use fiat money or at least stablecoins, but definitely not bitcoin.
1944  Other / Archival / Re: Are you ready to see Bitcoin at $10 000? on: June 23, 2022, 06:26:35 PM
I'm willing to buy bitcoin at 10k, but I think it's just a dream. The situation now is similar to when bitcoin fell to 3k, but then many people expected to buy it at 1k. Probably this time there will be a lot of waiters who will buy it at a high price. Things can change very quickly now. Those who don't buy now will regret it later.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: June 23, 2022, 03:18:52 PM
Even Bitcoin is down right now but that doesn't mean that all these coins are dead. It's normal and is part of the market cycle. Altcoins with strong resistance usually survive this season and they don't die. They might reach their low value but they're totally alive. As long as they have a good trading volume, we don't have to doubt them especially if they have huge potential. The coins that you have mentioned been through a lot of bearish and bullish seasons. Take a look at their history and you'll see how they dealt with every market situation.
It's always cyclical in this market. Rising and falling, bearish phases and bullish runs. And people crying out that it's all gone, or all to the moon. Now history is repeating itself. There has been a lot of negativity around cryptocurrency. Bitcoin will die, altcoins will die. But all that will change when the market starts to rise or even when a bounce happens.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 23, 2022, 12:17:11 PM
I think that if a casino has a lot of visitors who remain satisfied with the casino, the reputation of the casino will not suffer because of the negative reviews. Even if those reviews have solid evidence. To affect the reputation you need to launch a full-fledged campaign against that casino. Otherwise, it will be all for naught. A good example is the Binance exchange, although it is not a casino, but the negative experiences of some users had no effect on the reputation.
1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: June 23, 2022, 08:38:29 AM
Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?

There will be an end to many weak coins in the market with each passing bear cycle, but it does not apply to all. Those altcoins you mentioned like ETH, XRP... they went through at least one bear season before and they're still around to this day. As long as you hold your hands on these good altcoins, you can rest assured they won't die, and I believe they'll come back strong when the bear season is over.
I think many smaller altcoins will also survive this bear season. The work of blockchain developers does not depend much on the price of altcoins. If the team regularly works on the product, makes updates, and enters into partnerships, the price will definitely go up when the market turns around.
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 22, 2022, 05:01:20 PM
Which coin will be ready to buy. It is time to dump the all coin. Can you expect the market to do something good in June. What do you say.
For dumping Bitcoin price the whole crypto market now in a bad situation. And all cryptocurrency coin now in very dip. In this time you can take a look all the top coin from coin marketcap. And you can bought any top coin. Especially keep your your eye on lowcap token.
The market condition shows it will never recover in this year. Maybe it will take a couple of years . For recovering and make a new record
No one knows how long the recovery will take. Perhaps it will start as soon as the fall is over, as it did in 2020. Bitcoin also rebounded sharply in June 2021 after a 50% fall. I don't know when that fall will end, but the recovery could be like a V-shape. That is, the accumulation phase may be short or nonexistent because the price is already too cheap.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 22, 2022, 03:17:36 PM
~ Honestly, I haven't seen a banker or a casino close ~

Just think of it a little bit. If it were true that every casino was never going bankrupt that would mean the money making machine were invented. You just take a loan to open a casino. Then you paying out the loan from the profits. And then you are a casino owner with no debt, just making money for the rest of your life. Easy, right? No, no, it's not that easy. In fact, many of the newly opened online casinos don't last more than 3 months, first of all because gamblers don't want to play in new places, they prefer the established ones. Secondly, even if you managed to attract people by, say, a low house edge, maintaining a casino with one the lowest house edges is a hard job.
The success and popularity of casinos is the problem of the owners. Whether they find it difficult or easy to attract gamblers is a question of marketing. But I don't think that famous and popular casinos have many players winning big sums. The winning principle is probably about the same in all casinos. The casino is always a winner, so it's almost impossible to make money there.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on transgender only events? on: June 22, 2022, 12:28:06 PM
I don't know how transgender competitions can be different from regular competitions, because usually they are just women's competitions. And there have already been complaints about transgender people winning women's swimming or powerlifting competitions. I don't think there's much interest in such competitions, so they're unlikely to be popular with gamblers. Especially the odds on transgender people are likely to be very low.
1951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: June 22, 2022, 09:35:30 AM

I also think that now is not the end of the fall and that bitcoin will follow the stock market, but the only thing that confuses me is that bitcoin is now trading below 200 MA, which has usually been the short term. But maybe the global crisis will affect the usual pattern of bitcoin price behaviour.

I'm sure the global crisis will effect Bitcoin.  We're already seeing it with some companies having difficulty raising funds to meet their liquidity needs.  If things continue to get worse and a global recession takes hold like many think it will, we could see massive downward pressure on Bitcoin.  Everything is temporary though.  This time it seems like a recession is lining up perfectly with Bitcoin's 4-year cycle to create a massive buying opportunity.  Sure, we might dip another 50% from here, but I'm pretty sure we'll be up >350% 3 years from now when all of this is behind us.  That's a good risk/reward opportunity to dollar cost average in my opinion.
Yes, I think so too. But my point was that the fall is not over right now and that we will most likely have an opportunity to buy bitcoin even cheaper in the near future. Although it is certainly a good idea to buy now and have funds for future buying. Biden's last words though make it clear that America may need to print dollars again, then the fall will be over.
1952  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: June 21, 2022, 05:13:33 PM
I will advice buyers to hold on a little more the price might still further because the chat is forming series of higher lows and lower highs with no picture of correction any time soon. For me i am waiting patiently for a fall below $15k to take my entry point unless there is a new bullish trend before i result to plan B of buying when the new trend is fully formed.

I think it will even go lower then 15k, however there are no certainties in this game.
Makes me wondering what will happen with the stock market, because what i've seen btc doesn't seems a hedge like gold, but follows stocks more then gold.

With the current market unrest i think the stock market will lead bitcoin's, and crypto's way...
I also think that now is not the end of the fall and that bitcoin will follow the stock market, but the only thing that confuses me is that bitcoin is now trading below 200 MA, which has usually been the short term. But maybe the global crisis will affect the usual pattern of bitcoin price behaviour.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 21, 2022, 10:36:10 AM
Right now we can see a little improvement in market prices, which means that soon on the forum posts about recovery and trend change will appear. I suggest no to jump to conclusions and wait for few weeks. As usually, nothing will happen. We will see a growth during working days and a fall on weekend. As usually, Summer is most boring time for cryptocurrency.
I don't think anyone will be bored this summer. The weekend was the opposite, with a rise or rebound instead of a fall. But that's probably because the US stock exchanges were closed for trading. It seems to me that after the opening the fall might continue, as the S&P chart looks very sad.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 21, 2022, 08:34:44 AM
About teams like Chelsea to become the champions here, I also love to see these things. Football isn't about being the best offensive team among all of the tournament participants. Chelsea weren't that much effective compared to the teams that had incredible offensive players in that season but they still were very solid at defending. Tuchel had a system that was working great and it helped them reach the title. There is no hindrance for them or some other team like them to do this again.
I agree with you. The Champions League is won by experienced clubs, not just those who can score goals. For example PSG who have the best players from all over the world in their team. They are second to none in their home league, but they have failed to excel in the Champions League, despite being regarded by many as legitimate championship candidates.
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 20, 2022, 05:35:16 PM
I think the next Bundesliga season will be more successful than the last one. I hope there will be a German Champions League winner this time, maybe it can only be FC Bayern Munich. There are 5 top clubs in Germany and i mean: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig. All will be better, not only from the money in the Champions League.
The Bundesliga is certainly a strong league in the European Championships. I think there is no doubt that next season will be a tough competition as usual between Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig but there are also some very strong teams in the Champions League. PSG or Manchester City, Real Madrid or Barcelona, for example, will want to perform well after a disappointing season.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 20, 2022, 12:19:52 PM
The Nations League so far has been exciting and boring at the same time.  Cheesy  It has been exciting because we have been able to watch incredible matches with many goals in them. It has been boring because biggest teams generally didn't care about their matches here so much and this caused them to get absurd results. This caused many people to lose their bets and a lot of money also. The Nations League isn't credible for betting if you aim to bet on the favourite teams mostly.
They are more focused on tactics and strategies for what they will do for the world cup which will soon be held so they don't really think too much about the results which makes this not too good to be a bet because it's too monotonous Cheesy
But indeed this is also good enough for the team to see readiness so that even if football lovers are not satisfied, for the team that does it they have references and references.
Probably nothing to do with the World Cup, just that many countries are not serious about the League of Nations. It's an extra opportunity for them to have a training session. That's why the top teams don't look good and the underdogs are trying to make a name for themselves. I think that before the World Cup, at the end of September, the situation will not change much because the coaches will be worried about the players so that they don't get injured.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circle Announces Euro Coin (EUROC) on: June 20, 2022, 08:19:02 AM
Circle has taken on the stablecoin market in earnest, and they're probably on their way to the top. I think that in the near future USDC may lead the leadership in the stablecoin market, given the way the whales are leaving Tether.
True, If you look at their current marketcap, they are just $15M shy of USDT. There has been a mass exodus from USDT as people don't trust, and I am one of those folks. It's just a matter of time before they overtake USDT as the top stablecoin

I have always asked myself why we don't have any popular or well-known "crypto coins" that are pegged to the Euro, Pound, Yen etc
Perhaps you meant $15B? Because if it's $15M it can be called equal capitalisation.

To be honest, I don't understand why the market needs EUROC? I think such coins have already been created but turned out to be unnecessary. There are already too many stablecoins on the market. I don't understand why anyone sees any prospects in EURO?
1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 19, 2022, 03:19:16 PM
Which coin will be ready to buy. It is time to dump the all coin. Can you expect the market to do something good in June. What do you say.

From what I can see, fewer and fewer people are optimistic about the near future of prices on the cryptocurrency market. I also have no doubt that this bear market will last longer. If someone is ready to go long term, I think they shouldn't sell, but just wait for the trend to change. However, if someone is counting on price increases and earnings in June, I'm pretty sure they will be very disappointed.
That the market has not risen in June and is unlikely to do so is obvious, but there are doubts that the bear market will last for a long time. The main one is that bitcoin is trading extremely cheap, and no one is confident that it will stay that way for much longer. It seems to me that the current sell-off will end soon and there will be a reversal.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: June 19, 2022, 12:18:07 PM
Well , for me , this will be the first World Cup that will be held during the Winter and I must say that it will be an unique experience for almost everyone as Fifa is doing this for first time. [...]

There is no winter in Qatar.
There, every day is hot and the night is freezing, as in any desert.
Players will have to accept it, just as they had to accept the high temperatures and high relative humidity when they played in Manaus, Brazil.
It was necessary to take breaks during the games, but in the end everyone survived  Cheesy
True that winter in qatar is still not as people would expect but i don't think the temperature will be that high plus most of the players are professionals i don't think this will bother them much i think the high quality of the stadiums and infrastructure in QATAR will make them forget about it, i still think this will be the best world cup in terms of organization.
In the calendar winter, when other countries begin to experience the usual winter, Qatar, on the contrary, has good weather and summer. It is the same in Egypt and other equatorial African countries. Therefore, it will not be usual for Europeans to see the World Cup in November and December. Although even in European leagues such as Ligue 1 or Premier League, clubs play in November and January, so it is common for players. As for the high temperatures, the players performed just as well when Africa hosted the World Cup in 2010. The heat did not stop the Netherlands from playing in the final.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: June 19, 2022, 05:52:12 AM
Metaverses are entertainment for many people, as is virtual reality. People come to casinos to have fun and enjoy themselves too. So the casino in VR is double entertainment. When the metaverses and VR are of a very high quality, I am sure that these technologies will be used everywhere, not just to go to the mall or to travel.
