1941  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Troll free thread about the facts of HashFast's bankruptcy on: August 02, 2014, 01:15:09 PM
Fact One: HashFast wanted to give us our backorders and MPP in the form of chips, but now cannot thanks to the bankruptcy filing:

When were they supposed to give backorders and MPP in form of chips?
1942  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: CoinTerra & MegaBigPower on: August 02, 2014, 12:01:04 PM
I'm very sad to be pushed out of the game by the "big guys". I maxed-out the breaker-panel with my FrankenJups and have been suffering during a very hot summer (typical, actually) in Vegas. My A/C runs 24 hours a day and my electric bill is damn close to $2000 per month. I couldn't add another BTC miner to my farm if I wanted to despite retiring many thousands of dollars worth of now-obsolete equipment. AND I watch helplessly as my income diminishes with ever difficulty adjustment.

Search for a way to just extract the hot air outside of your mining room and it should reduce your electric bill by using the A/C for less hours.

Why not get your new units colocated if you have a maxed-out breaker-panel?
1943  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re:on hands pictures of BitCrane T-110 on: August 02, 2014, 11:56:52 AM

Just another day at Bitcrane`s office.

...........
Here are some of the pictures of T-110 Units in our office

Best regards to all

Why not post the Eligius address so we can see the live hashrate? Or directly the miner software screen.
1944  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 pre-order - Specs: 0.69$/GH + 0.46W/GH on: August 02, 2014, 02:25:46 AM
Hello, If someone would like to sell its SP30 groupby due to the latest news, I would be glad to buy it.

Waiting to set all the details with SP-Tech regarding this GB order transfers and compensation. Will post an update when I will have it.

Thanks RoadStress.

Guy and Katya told me that all I needed was the name and order number of the person wanting to sell their slot then we would just CC them on the mail until both parties were satisfied and the transfer would take place.

Best to maybe use escrow as per any sale.

Please raise any issues that you have regarding the transfer process. For example once the transfer process is being initiated in order to avoid any headaches the process should be irreversible for the original owner and only the buyer should be able to cancel the process. Also the transfer should be made once the original owner give his green light OR if the buyer submits proof of an irreversible transaction towards the original owner.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 02, 2014, 02:05:22 AM
According to the newly released spec of GPU, at least 4000 core per chip, or 80 blocks per chip, and later 14nm FF process will enhance further integration of circuit on single die, add 3D IC concept sum of them, a single GPU could perform better than ASIC sooner or later, so exiting about this.

I don't see how a GPU that has a "general" chip can perform better than ASIC chips who knows how to do only one thing, but much better.
1946  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 02, 2014, 01:43:41 AM
I don't have to explain / answer this to you...It is more than obvious...

Now you are acting as a SP-Tech PR...or maybe more like their legal department...SP-Tech is silent...but you are not...carrying these function(s) for them... Grin
Let's be it...Your choice, RoadStress...
But don't even try to convince me that it is for free...or "for the love of God"...Capisco... Wink
ZiG
Edit...:
Last question...Are you Jewish, RoadStress...Huh

I was acting as an independent legal department long before SP-Tech (check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253282.0 for reference)

I am not jewish and I hope that you will keep your promise and this will be your last personal question about me.
1947  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 02, 2014, 12:59:57 AM
man where were you the last 3 months or so? when everybody was screaming and shouting and crying at FC?! when the asset reach quite a ridiculous low price? you cant say we never question some CEO God.
It just seems that now things are getting in place and a little bit more out of the blur. just need to be patient, infos shall come as soon as possible and when it actually make sens to disclose them.
you seem very tensed, have a break man, grab some pop corn and hope for the best out of the up-coming conf. Smiley

But I'm not tensed at all and I have my popcorn ready since gen3 specs  Cool
1948  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 02, 2014, 12:54:47 AM
...From BTCGuils stats..."

"AntMiner   778,284.88 GH/s "  ...or about 1.600 S3'S in their farm alone at the moment... / 4.1T = ~190 SP30 ...
............

You got it all wrong. I was asking about his S3s because of course I am aware that the S3s are in the wild.

Unfortunately not ... Do you see that everybody see your "unbiased" post(s) since your really VERY successful SP30 group buy... Do you think that everybody here is blind...or stupid... Huh

Cheers,

ZiG

You haven't answered to my question after accusing me of "furiously jumping on everybody":

Please tell me what from my quote makes you think that I jumped furiously on bitcoinbearhk because of his critical remarks. I'm a bit confused right now.

Guy mentioned 6 TH and even 6.5 TH a number of times here without qualifying the statement by saying 'but not on 110 volts'

And the fact that the SP10 had lower hashrate on 110V didn't made you think that the SP30 will have lower speed on 110V? For me it was obvious that the 110V has it's limitations that don't exist on 220V, but not for you.
1949  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 02, 2014, 12:47:07 AM
That's not such a good number for people who were promised 6TH on their 120 circuits

Customers were never promised 6Th/s on their 110V circuits. Another lie.

Steaming away at 420 on the 12 hour average...
http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1K15YmnotHd3TL1ZxL4p41MmxD1mAnt1ts

Read it and weep.

I actually lucked out - got a bunch of S3s just for the fun of it - and I am totally shocked how good they are.
....
By the way, I sent a new order for S3s this week - 10X my old order.

Your address shows only one S3 mining, but you stated that you got "a bunch of S3s". Where is the "bunch"?

Also you stated that you made another order that is 10x bigger than your previous one so that means at least 10 more S3 miners. I am waiting for the proof of them hashing!
1950  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 02, 2014, 12:28:19 AM
lol I'm a customer and I have got zero contacts since they sent the apology email about not meeting their spec.  We are also still waiting for REAL compensation package not some stupid 1 or 2 btc discount
they need to replace our missing hash rate and efficiency losses.  Yeah I get that is pre-order and we took a risk but they pretty much assured us they would meet spec so when the s3s came out a lot of us passed on the early batched.

SP-Tech will not give daily reports with everything they are doing that day. Shipping has started and there are plenty of units to be delivered before my GB units since the August units were selling long before I started the GB.

The compensation will arrive in October. I think you are waiting on the details of the compensation Smiley

Quote
Now we are seeing shipped units hashing at 4.1 TH that makes it look worse.

This is for the 110V and is actually a good number. Running the units on 220V are obviously giving ~4.5TH.

Doubt away suckers!  S3s are cranking away day and night while Spondoolies is giving their people nothing but lies and sub 4TH.

Where is the proof?
1951  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 02, 2014, 12:21:12 AM
@roadstress:

You aren't a shareholder of AM so why do you care about AM so much?

obvious answer 1: You are afraid of AM kicking Spoondoodilidoos ass.
obvious answer 2: You are grumpy cat and don't know what to do with your free time.

I am not a shareholder, but I am a miner and I care what happens with AM because it affects me too.

Raising my personal concerns about AM operations doesn't mean that I'm shilling for another company or that I am trying to bash AM. They are legitimate concerns and I'm amazed that shareholders aren't raising them. I saw the same thing in ActM and that didn't end up well and no I'm not saying that it will happen again here, but it's a precedent where shareholders never questioned their God CEO. Again this is not trashing AM, but I don't understand why nobody is asking for the speed of the self mining considering that AM is hashing since July.

** Simple math for the Trolls... and anybody seriously selling shares trying to manipulate for a quick buck.

Help me with another simple math since I'm considered a troll around here. What's your view on the expected $/Gh for the mass deployment of the self mining hardware? Ignoring the chips that are already in hand.

1952  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 01, 2014, 11:57:45 PM
Why the silence?  Why won't Spondoolies comment about how many are shipped and how many are likely to be shipped next week?  They are just like KnC.  Total silence in the storm of failure.

Because they don't need to report to you as a non-customer about their status. I see that people are reporting having units in hand so units are shipping.

As for the silence we had 2 Sp-Tech members post here in the last 24 hours so stop lying.

How about you show us some proof of the S3 that you just purchased?
1953  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 01, 2014, 11:50:27 PM
4.153GH / 441GH = ~ 9 x S3 * ~$400 each = #3600 as we speak...

And you paid what...$5,600...to $11,500 for this "deliver on time and on specs" thingy... Huh

Where are the 5 PSUs included in that price?
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 01, 2014, 10:42:05 PM
"Need to know"  Basics...
Plugging in the pci cable fully can be tricky, as most of the cubes have the pcb mounted about 1mm too low, and the plug tends to catch on the bottom of the hole in the cube. In order to get them to fully plug in FULLY, you must slightly LIFT UP and push in on the pci plug after it first gets a bite for it to fully slide into the plug socket.
If you miss it, and it fails to fully latch, it may indeed melt; especially if your psu employs 16awg wires.
Seeing a single wire on the pci plug begin the meltdown is a sure sign of a poor connection...
and if you use a dab of conductive grease on each pci connection, it will also help make good contact, and avoid all this.
power delivery is 95% on these imho
Plugging and unplugging the pci plugs too much or not gentile can also quickly loosen the connections.

What a fail engineering for a 10k$ device!
1955  Economy / Securities / Re: 0.19 J/GH - CoinBau looks for investors in German mining technology on: August 01, 2014, 09:50:55 PM
Showing first gen would give more credit.  Even with a simulation the W/Gh is hard to believe currently.  I want it to be true, but i think this is currently not even close possible.

Let's not underestimate the power of good designers. I think that technically it is possible, but actually doing it is hard.
1956  Economy / Securities / Re: 0.19 J/GH - CoinBau looks for investors in German mining technology on: August 01, 2014, 09:09:57 PM
This is a nigerian scam unless you can prove that W/Gh/s

How can they prove the W/Gh without a physical chip available?
So technically, they could make this claim based on simulation...
However, I've seen several chip design teams get burned by simulation

Even a couple current TOP chip producers experienced this...

But this time, it's different, right? Smiley

Well they should at least show us a demo of their first gen miners. That shouldn't be a problem, but I don't expect them to show us the simulation results...

1959  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: |ANN| Miner Leasing - official on: August 01, 2014, 08:25:09 PM
@Also your topic is in the wrong section. You are offering a Service, not Hardware.

Hi, yes we do. We starting bussiness project MINER LEASING. So it is about seling miners on leasing.
We will send more info at 04.08. and on our web FAQ.

So you want to sell people miners and get paid a monthly fee for them after delivering the miners to people?
1960  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: CoinTerra & MegaBigPower on: August 01, 2014, 08:23:03 PM
By literally putting all the equipment they are about to sell to the consumers on their shelves while they develop new hard ware and sell their old shit to people like us? By creating HUGE petahash mining centers to compete directly with the consumers who helped fund their R&D for the initial hardware they sold? meh.. how are they not?

You are confusing the mining industry with the average user profits.
