Whats funny is every time someone brings up PSU's they act like they don't have any just sitting around. If you've had any miner for the most part you have PSU's laying around. I mean I have 11 on the shelf and 2 on miners. One of them is a 750W and the rest are 1000-1500W. Actually I threw away 22 DELL PSU's the other day just because they were wasting space (have 22 boards if I ever needed the PSU's again). So if I (or anyone whos owned a miner) wanted to compare $4500 in S3 vs $4500 the preorder why would you need to factor in the PSU cost.

He's lucky if he's mining as he said. Somehow, I doubt it. Doubt away suckers! S3s are cranking away day and night while Spondoolies is giving their people nothing but lies and sub 4TH. I am fucking shocked that Spondoolies let everyone down. I was 100% convinced they nailed it. In the very earliest days, I wrote to them: "yeah, but that is what BFL, KnC and others were saying too". They were 100% confident they knew what they are doing. Hahahahaha. What a sucker I was to believe that crap. Now, we don't hear anything about fair compensation nor shipping numbers. Just like KnC who shipped out 5 units - they report "we are currently shipping on time". Sure they are. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice - well, you know.

lol I'm a customer and I have got zero contacts since they sent the apology email about not meeting their spec. We are also still waiting for REAL compensation package not some stupid 1 or 2 btc discount they need to replace our missing hash rate and efficiency losses. Yeah I get that is pre-order and we took a risk but they pretty much assured us they would meet spec so when the s3s came out a lot of us passed on the early batched.
SP-Tech will not give daily reports with everything they are doing that day. Shipping has started and there are plenty of units to be delivered before my GB units since the August units were selling long before I started the GB. The compensation will arrive in October. I think you are waiting on the details of the compensation Now we are seeing shipped units hashing at 4.1 TH that makes it look worse. This is for the 110V and is actually a good number. Running the units on 220V are obviously giving ~4.5TH. Doubt away suckers! S3s are cranking away day and night while Spondoolies is giving their people nothing but lies and sub 4TH. Where is the proof?

@Rawdog - come on dud you happened to get lucky that bitmain ninja launched their 28nm hardware , don't act like you knew what u were doing when you passed on the sp30.
It was obvious to anyone watching Bitmain that when they started heavily discounting the S1 that the S3 launch was just a few months away. It didn't require clairvoyance.

That's not such a good number for people who were promised 6TH on their 120 circuits Customers were never promised 6Th/s on their 110V circuits. Another lie. I actually lucked out - got a bunch of S3s just for the fun of it - and I am totally shocked how good they are. .... By the way, I sent a new order for S3s this week - 10X my old order. Your address shows only one S3 mining, but you stated that you got "a bunch of S3s". Where is the "bunch"? Also you stated that you made another order that is 10x bigger than your previous one so that means at least 10 more S3 miners. I am waiting for the proof of them hashing!

Anybody that ordered the SP30 back in April or May have waited a LONG time and must be hurting now considering how much they were selling for. There was never a hope of ROI under realistic conditions for those who purchased at that time at retail prices.

And the fact that the SP10 had lower hashrate on 110V didn't made you think that the SP30 will have lower speed on 110V? For me it was obvious that the 110V has it's limitations that don't exist on 220V, but not for you.
For me, it was obvious that the machine had it limitations in general (ability to ROI), but not for you. When the CEO goes around repeatedly throwing the 6 - 6.5 TH numbers around on the forum, he has a responsibility to qualify his statements if there are any. I'm not surprised that some of the more experienced SP30 customers seem to be unhappy with the compensation plan as it currently exists. And I am surprised that you are being so defensive about an obvious shortcoming in the SP30. Did anyone really expect it to go perfectly without any problems ?

Guy mentioned 6 TH and even 6.5 TH a number of times here without qualifying the statement by saying 'but not on 110 volts'
Then let yours mine on an AAA battery and ask for compensation. Thats a feckless remark. The specs don't claim it will run on an AAA battery. They do claim it will run on an input voltage of 90-264 volts AC and they do not qualify the performance based on input voltage. In fact, there is no good reason that the SP30 performance should depend on input voltage, provided it is within spec.
