Long time player at Betcoin on the sportsbook, and I have always recommended them, however given some recent events, I would avoid the Sports book. They are still highly reputable, but they are experiencing some issues that have been very cumbersome for anyone betting sports there.

They are still very good at quick withdrawals, but their Sportsbook has been on a steady decline, all while they are "improving it". I imagine it's growing pains, but just some recent problems:

- Very slow grading of bets - 1pm NFL games not paid until after 4pm games end in most cases this season
- Constant glitches in book, just this past Sunday, bets all stated that they were not accepted, but they actually were. Many people placed duplicate bets due to this error
- This past Sunday the NFL bets were graded as wins, but money appeared in accounts, and then disappeared from accounts (impacted all customers)
- On same day with glitch and disappearing money, made bets that came up with error (similar to errors when bets were accepted) and after trying to make bet 5 times (I have full record from their site), the amount I bet disappeared from my account, so I assumed it was bet. Checked my log, and nothing was there. Immediately before games begun, sent a support ticket asking to make sure they honored the bet, they did not get back for hours, and ultimately they did not honor the bet, even though I asked multiple times prior to games beginning, and I did not have my balance available in my account anymore due to their issues

Approximately 30+ hours later they finally did return the entire proper balance, minus honoring the bet that ultimately won. So, to summarize of late:

- Frequent glitches / problems with betting site
- Slow grading of bets
- Diminishing level of customer service (I have had them honor bets before that were put through support tickets when the book had issues, but they would not this time, even after not making funds available in accounts for winning bets for 30+ hours)

I'm done with them for now until they get their act together, I am primarily just an NFL season bettor, and it's not worth the hassle when I can't put bets down that I want to play without issues."

gogo - Thanks for bringing it over. I'll wait to see what they say in their thread before contacting them. I saw your post on limits about a month ago. Outside of that they've been clean and my withdrawals have been quick.

1946  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitbook on: November 11, 2015, 04:12:23 AM
what ever happened to bitbook by the way?  I'm sure I can dig up some old posts, but if anyone reads this and knows I'll just check back later!

They closed shop and announced that players had 10 days to request a payout. They paid everyone that requested a payout in that window. Some players were unaware of the 10 day period and weren't paid.

1949  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS and REVIEWS of SPORTS BOOKS thread. Poster input appreciated. #2 on: November 09, 2015, 02:42:30 AM
This is a self moderated thread. Books will be censored if they post about another book. No posters will be censored unless posts become overly repetitive.

Hii peeps, did you try on vital bet?? I like to try that site, but need more some pro advice from you and others big money gambler..

Btw im still had not any feedback from anonibet about disable my personal pin, its more than 4 days ( they said only need 72 hours)

VitalBet isn't on the rating guide since they are a fiat book that accepts bitcoins. They state if you play solely with bitcoins, that you don't need to provide KYC information. There is one case where VitalBet confiscated a bonus plus winnings for claimed bonus abuse.

This mix leads to trouble. In my opinion, there's no reason to play there.
1950  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of SPORTSBOOKS. Please post any payout delays. Input wanted from all. on: November 05, 2015, 11:09:15 AM
I've never heard of a fiat book or bitcoin book confiscating a deposit claiming hack. AsianConnect did confiscate deposits for claims of bonus abuse. Fiat books have refused to pay winnings claiming bonus abuse. They have always returned deposits.

Top books with never confiscate deposits. It's fine to boot a player or limit a player. Banning an IP is acceptable. There's no valid reason to keep a player's deposits/wager. It's theft.

DirectBet is welcome to respond to the claim here if they wish.
1951  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of SPORTSBOOKS. Please post any payout delays. Input wanted from all. on: November 05, 2015, 10:56:03 AM
Why did you give DirectBet C? I'm pretty sure they are in the business for more than 1 year. I'll give them A+. No registration, instant withdrawals, good odds.

DirectBet confiscated winnings plus the amount wagered by a player claiming hack. DirectBet refused to show any evidence to the player or peepsplace. I wish that DirectBet would have just paid the player. A lot of posters here at bitcointalk like DirectBet.

Under no circumstances should a book confiscate a player's bet. It's bad enough not to pay winnings, but keeping the players deposit (wager with DirectBet) is not acceptable.

AsianConnect is rated a "F" for confiscating deposits. My personal opinion would be to rate DirectBet a "F" for the confiscation but DirectBet does get player support keeping the rating a "C".

Communication is good with all the books including DirectBet. There have been problems with other books and the player and book have been cooperative in complying with requests asking for proof of the dispute. DirectBet was fine with communications, but refused to show any type of evidence.

One thing that I would disagree with you are on the odds. Their margins are very high.

Anonibet doesn't deserve an A imo, there support is pretty bad (I messaged them here about a bug twice from around a week and they haven't even bother to reply to me), There withdrawals are manual. There live betting is better than most of other bitcoin sites but these are 2 big weaknesses IMO.
Thanks for the input.

Has anyone made a recent withdrawal from Anonibet? Is so, how long did it take?

Cloudbet - Thanks for checking in. When you check in again can you answer the question by fox.

We have implemented instant withdrawals.
It will cover 95% of withdrawal requests, we will include the big ones later, once the beta phase terminates.

Hope our players find this a good measure and we could get an upgrade from the weak (and unfair on our opinion) C- ..

BetBTC- glad to hear that. I'll wait a little while for customer feedback as well as personal withdrawals as a test. Your thread is always monitored to check on what the players post.
1957  Economy / Exchanges / Re: So coinbase closed my account for gambling... on: October 30, 2015, 06:21:42 AM
coinbase doesn't accept customers from my country so I don't know much about it but it follows American rules and you know that unregulated gambling sites are not allowed in the US
I heard so many people complaining about this problem , maybe you should use an exchanger or something like that cause they are following your addresses

If you are playing anonymously at a bitcoin sportsbook that bans US IPs, a VPN will allow you to get in and use the site.
1958  Economy / Exchanges / Re: So coinbase closed my account for gambling... on: October 30, 2015, 05:32:25 AM
I presume that's why.

I got a warning email a month or so ago...I had done a few withdraws directly to CB from poker sites. Once I got it, I did every single transfer through a middle wallet first.

I'm guessing the transaction behavior was what led to the closure since I never went directly to gambling from CB again (winning poker player...I would keep X amount in CB, when I won that amount in poker, I would sell it on CB and withdraw that amount from the poker site to my other wallet and then to CB)

What other sites can I use that are easy as coinbase? I could sell a bitcoin one day and the money would be in my bank account the next day with very low fees, less than 1%.

Thanks

It's a international(non. US) agreement. They can't allow this either as they are based in US. (CMIIW)

If you use Nitrogen you will be fine since they use multiple wallets for withdrawals and you can change your deposit address up to 5 times a day. For transferring with other books, you can use a mixer such as https://bitmixer.io/

Before closing an account, Circle normally will ask you what type of transactions that you make and with whom. Most just say they buy and sell computer equipment and tell Circle that I would rather keep the names private. It seems to work.
