There are a few cases hurting their reputation. Two in which not only were winnings confiscated, but deposits were confiscated.  Pay a player and then ban him if you don't like his actions.

When comparing Sportsbet to other books, Sportsbet is at or near the bottom. Sportsbet asks for KYC information more than other books. Sportsbet has the worst or near the bottom in margins (hold).

A rating system compares books to each other. Why should anyone play at Sportsbet?
Honestly I wouldn't know about their ways if I didn't check this place. I have seen their problems only here and then go out and checked and saw it, I personally didn't have much problems with them because I haven't played too much (just two games so far) and usually go with either nitrogen or onehash because they seem like the best at what they do (nitrogen as the best and onehash as the best pvp system and sometimes there are lucky bets) and even with that in mind I love checking here before I place a big bet.

We can't always check out the websites and what they have done and how they are and so forth ourselves so its great to have it all combined in once place under on topic so we can easily access to all their good and bad deeds. This helps checking out before playing very quick and doesn't take time at all to just look at one message.

That said, does anyone else have any problems or other experiences, good or bad to share from any book?
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 Best Bitcoin Gambling websites on: February 11, 2019, 06:47:17 AM
Thank you for all your answers !!
I cannot answer to everybody one by one, but I had a look at all the websites you told me, and read all the advices you gave me.
I updated the list a few times and will continue to do as much as I can.

I think it's better to divide the TOP 10 into 3 or 4 different TOP 10 :

TOP 10 Best Bitcoin Dice Games :
https://bitcoinsfaucets2017.blogspot.fr/2017/09/top-5-best-bitcoin-dice-games.html

TOP 5 Best Bitcoin Sports Bets websites (TOP5 for the moment, I will maybe add 5 more) :
https://bitcoinsfaucets2017.blogspot.fr/2017/09/top-5-bitcoin-sport-bet-websites.html

TOP 10 Best Bitcoin Gambling websites
--> TOP 10 Best Bitcoin Casino Games (Not updated yet).
http://bitcoinsfaucets2017.blogspot.fr/2017/09/top-10-best-bitcoin-gambling-websites.html

Tell me what you think about it. It's good to have all your opinions so I can make the list better !

 Smiley

I think that the sportsbooks are a little off. I like these ratings better.

1063  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overview of Bitcoin Accepting Sportsbooks (with margin/house edge comparisons) on: February 10, 2019, 10:52:19 AM
yes, can't believe a sportsbook offering fiat deposits without KYC would last very long....

hmm not sure about that to be honest , for example I use a fiat broker that accepts bitcoin and they told me they don't have KYC for bitcoin users
I have been using them for around 1 year now and still able to deposit and withdraw without KYC
so don't think that fiat always mean KYC applied
Brokers are different. Some do and some don't.
The difference is if you are a fiat currency sportsbook there is only two way of doing it, either you do it legally and try to open bank accounts and have accountants and lawyers and KYC as well which allows the sports book to be as legit as it gets or you open something like curacoa or whatever type place and run a shady fiat sportsbook which allows you to be more free but also creates a chance of scamming the customers.

When the sportsbooks are crypto they do not need to be based anywhere and they do not need to involve fiat to be legit, they are just crypto to crypto, you deposit btc and you withdraw btc without a need for a bank, if they want to put fiat into that it will create a whole type of problems for them. Hence why already existing fiat sportsbooks could add in crypto but the already existing crypto sportsbooks try NOT to add fiat.
True. In the UK they do it legally. In Curacao they get a sublicense that doesn't mean a thing. A lot open in Costa Rica since they only need a Data Processing License. What's nice about Nitrogen is even though they are in Costa Rica, some of the names are public knowledge. The shops in Costa Rica and Curacao that are heavy handed on asking for KYC are just doing it to grab our money.

Let's look at their answers. One is basically answered by saying "yes we do not give good odds and if you are a whale you can get boosts that might close the gap but otherwise odds are crap", the second one basically says "we have no idea how self exclusion works but we have someone who does so we are not going to answer this question at all?" like that makes any sense at all, that is not even an answer, just stating they have an employee about that matter but no answer to it at all.

Third one was answered "we would like to not talk about it in detail because it might make us look bad", if they had any information to clear their name, they would give it, they do not have any info that would make them look the rightful part so they are not even attempting to show it since they don't have any right to do what they did. I can continue for the rest but you get it, they are slimy and even D- is a lot to them.
Slimy is a good way to describe them.
Lol slimy is perfect. They are not really "scamming" anyone openly but they are also not making any friends here neither. They are both legit and not at the same time which is an achievement to be fair. Have they taken out the bet from someone for no reason? No, they took it out because he wanted to be self excluded, however did they banned him? No his account is not banned forever yet his bet is gone. Dudes figured out a way to hide behind some technical stuff to manage to get out of a bet and at the same time ruin their reputation.

I wonder what the amount for the bet and the win was, if it is nothing major they are literally throwing away their reputation for just one bet and I would rather let the gambler have it instead of ruining my reputation for something like this.

There are a few cases hurting their reputation. Two in which not only were winnings confiscated, but deposits were confiscated.  Pay a player and then ban him if you don't like his actions.

Any gambling expert please recommond any trusted betting site where no need to kyc  and secured and you are still betting there.

Nitrogensports.eu , Onehash, Sportsbet.io .

As far as I know they doesn't implement KYC's but there is chances that it might be requested for various reasons like unusual account activity, large withdrawals or something along those lines.

For example, in Sportsbet.io, you can freely used the site without undergoing KYC but their support told me back then that they might request it for security reason. Other sites might have the same terms although it's not listed on their posted TERMS on the site.

Anyways about "trust", even how reputable those sites today, we can't just put our 100% to it. We are just minimizing the risks of being a victim of scam that's why we are choosing the sites that already built a reputation in crypto gambling world.
Sportsbet.io uses KYC.

Only Nitrogensports, Betcoin and Bitcoinrush. Too many other sportsbooks are using KYC to either delay or confiscate funds.

Cloudbet is stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from people. They should be rated F, or called out as an outright scam.
.
They may be downgraded again if none of the open cases are resolved soon.

Hello!

This is me Swofty a Cloudbet user. Who is still waiting for my withdrawal! Now they have blocked me because I bet on Superbowl! While they are investigating. And my bet won also by the way. So they just said its cancelled and refunded. Easily Smiley so yes they blocked my account with no notice. And the reason when i asked why im blocked is that I bet on Superbowl.I had been nice and patient to them. But now this get really makes me worry and stress. 330 BTC is alot of money. That is for myself and for my family savings.

To tell you the truth. I withdrawed on January 2, 2019 they asked me a documents. Which I gave right away. I gave them my drivers license ID. I gave them my tax document, and I even took a photo of myself holding a paper saying Cloudbet, my username Swofty and the date. I even gave them our marriage certificate, gave them water bill which is name of my wife and an ID of my wife. And then we both took a picture also holding our IDs together.I just want to get my rightful winnings. I deposited a total of 129 BTC in their website. And I never cheat or I never did something wrong. I just want to take my winnings and be happy.

But now this makes me sick and I just dont know what to do. Since they are responding a robot like respond or an repeating answer everytime.I had been patient enough. Cloudbet guys knows that. And I just really want to take my winnings. Because I gave every documents I could give. And I had been a nice customer. Please. Just please give me my rightful winnings. Thank you so much

https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/cloudbet-casino-delayed-330-btc-payment

Swofty - Thanks for bringing this over to make us all aware of your situation with Cloudbet. This is truly disturbing considered the amount that you have deposited. I wish you the best in recovering your funds.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting in this thread and for the PM today. Here are some of the reasons for the "D-" rating.

1. Margins - The margins (odds) at Sportsbet are very high. It's almost impossible for a player to overcome that type of hold with vanilla lines.

2. Self-exclusion - When a player asks for self-exclusion, Sportsbet steers the player towards taking a temporary ban.

3. Areezy - Under no circumstances should a book be able to cancel a futures play. Areezy has given me permission to look into his account. If there is something that is missing, please PM.

4. KYC/AML - There are rare cases where KYC may be required. Sportsbet is heavy handed on KYC and confiscated 21.5 BTC form a player of which 15 BTC was from his deposit.

5. Double spend claims - Sportsbet should wait for 1 confirmation if they are going to confiscate funds for an "accused" double spend attempt.

6. Communication - A PM was sent to all books asking if they banned players from the UK or US. Every book replied within a day except Sportsbet.

Morning All,

First of all, I can't believe I missed the Superbowl! Looked like a cracking game.

Second, I usually use this thread here to pump out my promos. ( yes, i pretty much will be doing the main sports promotions this year )
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.4160

Thirdly, we payed out a 75,000 euro multi bet the other week that was cashed out after 10 winning legs and the 11th leg actually was lost!
Another 110,000 euros was paid to a customer who had a good weekend betting on Basketball Qtr totals.
My boss is very happy to pay out big and fast! When I first started in the industry I was scared of the big wins! but as my boss always says, if the customer wins, give them their money!

Anyhow! onto the above Questions of the day, and then Ill pay out our Superbowl promotion!

1. Margins - yeah a popular Q for most books I guess. I know some leagues we are near market leaders, and on some we struggle a bit. Our trading team and Sportsbook Director are trying to find the best balance. For value Id recommend taking our daily price boost on EACH SPORT! yes.. that = >20 potential price boosts daily.
2. Self Exclusion- Not really my or trading/ops guys area, we have a particular person fully responsible for every case. She is extremely experienced as she is from one of the worlds biggest bookmakers. When She speaks, we listen.
3. Abreezy - As mentioned in a personal message, its pretty clear you are not getting all the correct information here. I won't be going into the dirty detail, but rest assured, the result was in the best interest of the customer on the information abreezy provided us.
As for this: ''Under no circumstances should a book be able to cancel a futures play''
Unfortunately, pretty much we can. We haven't done it in the past as it is unethical, but this was a situation that needed to be urgently done. I couldn't careless if Liverpool win or not. its half a bitcoin payout and we do that on an hourly basis. This is not the financial amount that is the issue. As mentioned, we were left with no option but to proceed down this path after a long period of discussion with the customer in question.

4. KYC procedure: Out of my jurisdiction, but i can tell you that my boss pays out any winnings. Im not sure of this case in question, but if money was confiscated, once again Id say that player in question has not filled all of us in with the full and correct information here.

5. Probably. Ill mention it to our support payouts team.

6. Apologies on missing that email. We had a few guys looking after the forums in the past and Im not sure what happened.

Have a good Monday all and speak again soon!

regards,

Steve,
Sportsbet.io

Karma will get you one day. Feeling all safe because of a fake licensed casino. Such a shame, if you were listed on MGA then you wouldnt be talking like that at all. You would lose your license in a instant, the ''license'' you currently have lets you do whatever you want, because its fake everybody knows that. Those people never get back to you.
Unfortunately Sportsbet is located in an unregulated jurisdiction and they are making up their own rules.
1079  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS : poster book discussion on: February 04, 2019, 09:48:00 PM
I can attest that bitcoinrush credits the account with the wins already. It is definitely quick and I am really happy with it. Not only they have the greatest odds, they are also very quick on anything else. Deposits, withdrawals, adding games, paying out the wins, helping on support, answering on the topic. Basically anything you would want the sportsbook to be fast about they are. That is the only feedback I can give about so far, I also played on nitrogen however I can't check it right now since I forgot my password and it is saved on my PC's google (who really types their password anymore Cheesy) so I will notify about them when I get there as well but I am sure that works as well. It is really great that we have this much of a big game every year, it makes it super fun for at least a day.
Thanks Supercrypt.

To all, please keep feedback coming in.

Have a good Monday all and speak again soon!

regards,

Steve,

Steve,

I respect you for coming back to address each point. On 1-4, I strongly disagree. I don't want to rip into each answer but feel that your rating is justified. It looks like you brought people from Will Hill, although Will Hill would never do what you are doing. One thing I'd like to correct is point 1 on your odds:

Using the top 3 books, Nitrogen, Betcoin and Bitcoinrush along with Sportsbet, to rank margins (odds):

A) EPL - Sportsbet last. The hold is more than double of the other 3.
B) Other Major European Major Soccer - Sportsbet last.
C) UEFA Champions League - Sportsbet last.
D) UEFA Nationals League - Sportsbet 3rd of the 4.
E) Baseball - Sportsbet last.
F) NFL - Sportsbet last.
G) ATP Tennis - Sportsbet last.
H) WTA Tennis - Sportsbet last.
I) MMA - Sportsbet 3rd.
J) UFC - Sportsbet 3rd.
K) NBA - Sportsbet 3rd.
L) NHL - Sportsbet 3rd.
