Sportsbet came in and saw the questions and ran back away. What are they suppose to say ?
Yeah, we stole money from people with super efficiency and find the best case scenario of what we can make from each and one of you ?

It is impossible to get them confess but we all know the truth. If a person has a self exclusion from the games that is one thing and I can understand voiding the bets however when a bet is still active and self exclusion has no end date it means game should continue and considering he was winning the bet and Liverpool will win the only reason why they gave him the money back and voided the bet is that he was winning.

What happens if someone gambles on Leicester to win the league and then realizes he is not going to win, will they just void his bet and give him his money back ? No chance at all, if that was the case I could just put in 10k dollars into all games and whenever the champion is looking like its decided I will void all other accounts and keep only the winning one and make myself rich quite quickly. They only paid him back because he was winning, they wouldn't pay him back if he was losing, simple as that.
Great post.

Now that the Super Bowl is over, please post if any payouts are taking longer than 2 hours. All other feedback is appreciated. There should be some changes in the next week.

Cool to see Sportsbet.io come in here and speak for themselves. Will be much cooler if they actually address some of the things that's putting them in the D category. New promotions are all welcome, but if the old problems can't go away, it's something that players never forget.

High claim to have most responsive chat agents too! Are they also good at discussing technical issues?
Agree 100%. I hope Steve jumps back in again to address those questions.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting in this thread and for the PM today. Here are some of the reasons for the "D-" rating.

1. Margins - The margins (odds) at Sportsbet are very high. It's almost impossible for a player to overcome that type of hold with vanilla lines.

2. Self exclusion - When a player asks for self-exclusion, Sportsbet steers the player towards taking a temporary ban.

3. Areezy - Under no circumstances should a book be able to cancel a futures play. Areezy has given me permission to look into his account. If there is something that is missing, please PM.

4. KYC/AML - There are rare cases where KYC may be required. Sportsbet is heavy handed on KYC and confiscated 21.5 BTC form a player of which 15 BTC was from his deposit.

5. Double spend claims - Sportsbet should wait for 1 confirmation if they are going to confiscate funds for an "accused" double spend attempt.

6. Communication - A PM was sent to all books asking if they banned players from the UK or US. Every book replied within a day except Sportsbet.

Hey Peeps-

I've been trying to access to my Anonibet account since September, 2017.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55365.msg21877924#msg21877924

Anonibet hasn't been active here since July 24, 2018.

Anonibet hasn't been active on Twitter since August 11, 2018

https://twitter.com/Anonibet

When I try to log-in to my account, I am asked to email Support from my original registered email account; which I have done.

I am wondering if Anonibet has already exited; but you have them listed as a "C" rated Sportsbook.

Can you help get in contact with Anonibet; I'd really like some assistance in accessing my account.

Much appreciated!

Check PM. You should be good to go. Anonibet even made an appearance in their thread today.

One last warning prior to the Super Bowl. It's highly recommended to only have money in top books until some payouts after the Super Bowl. Some books may take the added money from Super Bowl bets as an opportunity to run with player's funds and close shop.
That is the worst financial decision anyone could really make. If you own a sportsbook and many people gamble on your website for the super bowl that means you are getting great customer numbers and wagered amounts. Even tough the odds are probably against the sportsbook on that game (its likely that the winner is getting less odds but still a loss) you will get that back from the customers who found out about your website during the search for superbowl betting.

Everyone could bet on big websites like nitrogen and so forth which means if they are not going with big ones and select your smaller website, do not run them away from you, find a way to keep them, offer people who bet on superbowl some promotions and bonuses for the next bets they will have, that way you can steer them away from big websites to yours, running away can give you one big win but keeping them there will give you big wins all the time.

In the past, there have been fiat books that left right after the Super Bowl. One had a unique line and others have given away some nice bonuses for the Super Bowl. If a book plans to leave, next week is the time to do it. Half the bitcoin books have gone under.

yes, can't believe a sportsbook offering fiat deposits without KYC would last very long....

hmm not sure about that to be honest , for example I use a fiat broker that accepts bitcoin and they told me they don't have KYC for bitcoin users
I have been using them for around 1 year now and still able to deposit and withdraw without KYC
so don't think that fiat always mean KYC applied
Brokers are different. Some do and some don't.

Another black eye for Sportsbet is that if someone asks for self-exclusion, Sportsbet steers them towards a temporary ban.

...........Your wellbeing is of the utmost importance. Therefore I would like to share the following information  with you; we can offer you:
1-week self-exclusion.
1-month self-exclusion.

Hi,

Please be advised we have been in regular contact with areezy regarding this self-exclusion procedure over a period of time. It became apparent that WE had to place areezy on a Permanent self-exclusion due to the claims of serious gambling issues ( Which, he is openly admitting here )

When the decision is reached and action is taken by us, any open bets are voided and money returned to the customer. ( areezy, we are still waiting for your reply to our last communication regarding Wallet so we can return the voided bets )

I was here when the Sportbet team voided the bets and it didn't matter if it was top placed team, or bottom-placed team. It was just important to cancel these and close this account down in the best interest of our customer.

I won't be going into any more detail about this case, as im sure you all understand there is a fair bit of information not mentioned here that doesn't need to be brought out to the public domain.

'areezy' please give the odds talk, the calculations and sports betting in general a rest for a while, a break is as good as a holiday hey?

regards,

Steve,

If money were returned because of self exclusion, then many would be betting futures/outrights and excluding themselves when the future bet looked bad.

Many books have rules in place that are never invoked. Confiscating funds because of self exclusion should not be invoked. The player should be banned and all winnings paid along with futures that may accrue after self exclusion.

By the letter of the law, Sportsbet is allowed to confiscate the player's funds. If Sportsbet does confiscate money, it is showing to be a lower tiered book. This type of situation is why sportsbet does not have a high rating.

I agree with the two of you above. It's never right to steal funds because of a multi-accounting accusation. Multi-accounts to circumvent limits or play at the same poker table is different than an accusation of multi-accounting for what isn't an unfair advantage.

Why is the multi-account people always keep writing their money was stolen? Like I understand trying to do it because every one of us did something like that in our lives, sometimes its botting in world of warcraft which is not allowed but helps out a lot, sometimes cheating on grand theft auto to get the bazooka and what not. If you are going to try to cheat a sportsbook like nitrogen sport do not cry about it when your account gets frozen.

I understand you wanted your "brother" to play but even if that scenario is true (which I doubt) the fact is that you are NOT ALLOWED to have multiple accounts. Its illegal in their terms and conditions, if you do that even as two brothers that is not making it alright. As long as you have two accounts that is not allowed and your account will get frozen. That's the rules.

Lol they made it right i have like .01 btc I am obviously not abusing the max bet. I was pssed my acct was shut down for 3 days. I have an acct with 2fa i do not need 2. I sent screenshots of proof that they froze accounts simply because i could not transfer to him I withdrew to his wallet. Thus showing redflags they locked both accounts so i guess if you are sending btc to someone who is going to play on Nitrogen sports. Make sure the wallet u send to has not been tied to Nitrogen sports in ANY way or expect atleast a 3 day lock on your acct!

Anyways nitrogen made it right i still cannot transfer to my brother so in order to send him BTC to play with I have to send to a wallet not used on nitrogen ever, then send to him. So i have to do 2 transactions just to send to him lol. Its all good thanks for makong it right nitrogen. I am still not very happy about transfers but thanks for making it right!

Good to see that this was solved.
