1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celer Network (CELR) Launches Mainnet Stage! on: July 27, 2019, 03:44:52 PM
What are the future for celer network after got launched with mainnet ? One of my friend suggested to invest with celer network, but I like to hear your opinion before making a decision.
I think cellar network will have a very huge success in the future because they have a very good project layout, and you can see that Binance usually register projects that still have integrity, I know Binance Is not perfect in this regards, but most projects that Binance do register nowadays are projects that you can really rely on.

I am not typically suggesting that you invest in the project because it is on Binance platform, you will still have to do further research on it, which is why I believe you are asking this question, and I must tell you that I really believe in the project. I have some investment in it too, and I do not just invest in projects without me having an assurance that the project will really stand the test of time, and also have a working products.
1962  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: July 27, 2019, 08:09:54 AM
There is a lot of criminals that deal with drugs and weapons, and they use cryptocurrencies, unfortunately. They find it very convenient and safe. Although a very low percentage really deals with crypto, it has become a problem. First of all, it is the problem for many honest people, who want to work with Bitcoin and altcoins, but their countries, being afraid of crimes, bans crypto.
Many of these crimes are being committed trough some of these exchanges that are well known, and I really wonder what the whole KYC they have been requesting for is all about, what exactly is the function if not for it to help such situations as this. When it comes to all these formalities, they forget decentralized system, but when it comes to taking money from scammer and fraudulent people, they make claim of anonymous system.

If we need to get it right I think there is need to purge the exchanges too because they are abetting some of these criminals in their platform also. Look at Binance that was hacked 41 million dollars, and I am sure it was moved from Binance to another CEX exchanges, but till now, they still could not trace it, so what is the work of KYC?
1963  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN Will hit 1 Million $$$ ? What do you think ? on: July 27, 2019, 06:10:49 AM
I guess it is definitely possible, but it also depends on how long you can give it to be 1 million. Are you sure you won't sell when it is 50k? Maybe at 100k? Definitely would sell at 500k? So, that means if you are selling, why wouldn't others? Everyone would sell if they make enough money.

Hence, the problem is not that bitcoin won't reach 1 million, it might be one million in year 2060 as far as we can assume (and maybe some of us will live that long, definitely not me) and that means the possibility is there. However, if you believe for one second that bitcoin could be one million dollars in the next 3-5 years than you must be crazy, that is way too much money that goes into bitcoin to do that and people with that kind of money will not use it to buy bitcoin for sure.
1964  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: July 26, 2019, 08:35:28 PM
Borrowing bitcoin and paying back bitcoin and borrowing bitcoin and paying with dollar are two totally different things.

For example, if you get a loan in bitcoin and you want to later pay it back by buying bitcoin when you have money the price of bitcoin may have gone up and it may have a trouble for you to buy that much bitcoin because of the price increase, or maybe it will be easier because price went down and you will get more bitcoin for the same price.

However, if it is just dollars, like you get a loan in bitcoin form but 1000 dollars and will have to pay 1100 dollars back, that would be easy and doable because people could totally pay back in dollars but in bitcoin form. So you are basically getting dollar loans but the transaction is made in bitcoin, that could be a good start for this.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: any reason for this biggest drop? on: July 26, 2019, 05:48:36 PM
I think this is normal because Bitcoin is too fast to touch the current bullrun, real bullrun will occur in 2021.
Bitcoin fell because it was not the time to go up and the previous rise was only a market correction.
we must understand if cryptocurrency has a phase phase between 4 years.

I agree with you . This market needs time to start the new uptrend and should choose to be patient during this time because I believe that 2021 will be an important time for the market to rise again. Now the value of Bitcoin has a big improvement, but in general we cannot escape the bear market and there will certainly be more adjustments in the near future.
2021? Did you just pick this year out of the blue moon, what are the signs that you see that made you not suddenly sift from bull run of 2020 to be 2021 because these has been the most popular year that I have seen people predict bitcoin to go on bull run even before bitcoin went in this current bull run, which is why many was so surprised at the way bitcoin made that sudden change and started surging in value from the first week of April, so right now, bitcoin movement cannot be completely predicted.

We never expected bitcoin to even have gotten this far, and this current value was actually predicted by me to be end of the year, so I believe that there is still more time for altcoins and bitcoin to grow by next year after the halving of bitcoin that is due for 2020.
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 50x !! on: July 26, 2019, 05:26:06 PM
Firstly, some of the altcoin mentioned by the OP are good but to be honest no altcoin will yield the 50x profit require by OP by July 2020 not even Bitcoin which is the number one crypto, expect if we are talking about holding Bitcoin for the next 6years or more which I believed all total 21Million will have been mine.
Of course they can, some of them still have very low marketcap and they all have working product, once they have working product and still have low marketcap, they are the ones that usually respond to the altcoins season more.

In fact, you will be shocked that these coins has the ability to even do up to 500x in the next bull run, though anything can happen along the line, but if the project team and developers can keep improving the coin and creating more awareness like they are doing now, many large investors will consider them among the coins that will be invested in during the next bull run, and these coins may be some of the coins that will be market dominance immediately bitcoin  start going sideways where is no longer increase or decrease.
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC - outperforming Altcoin Porrfolio on: July 26, 2019, 04:30:29 PM
Any other ones you like?
There is no other coin that I still prefer better than bitcoin, or perform better than bitcoin, in terms of increase, in terms of stability in terms of transparency, although shortly, some of these altcoins can outperform bitcoin in term of profit, because some of them do increase as high as 1000x, but bitcoin has done that too before, the reason why it will be difficult for bitcoin to do such again now is because bitcoin is already expensive to purchase, wherein the supply is gradually getting close to being infinite.

That is where some of these altcoins that op mentioned ,ay come in, and they only perform that way during the bull run of altcoins, because once they get dumped, they get to almost zero unlike bitcoin dumping will still have a very high value.
1968  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China Control Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2019, 08:02:01 AM
I supported what you said base on the research I did which shows the US and Canada as the top countries which had the highest number of people involved in bitcoin while China has the biggest mining power due to electricity rate but that might change if Korea takes a bold huge step into the crypto mining.
Even US or Canada don't have the power to control bitcoin
Korea is gradually becoming cryptocurrency friendly too and it is only a little matter of time, before Korea takes over from china in term of mining, which is why I was never bothered when everyone was thinking china banning miners in china would affect bitcoin, what china does not understand is that in this life, there is no one that is irreplaceable, and this applies to country and government too.

If china pushes too hard to go against miners in their country, those miners will simply not mind migrating to Korea, because it is something that pays them more than the petty work they do in china from the sales of those low quality products that they ship worldwide, so they think because they control the large amount of products going to the world, they can control bitcoin too, it is absolute lie.
1969  Economy / Economics / Re: Does it helpful when blockchain integrated to government system? on: July 26, 2019, 07:23:56 AM
Having blockchain technology installed into government systems would help a lot as there are so many people in government that are not doing anything subtantive yet they are getting paid with huge sums of money. Countries in Africa are at a great fault when it comes to this. There are so many corruption cases which can be solved or could have been prevented if their system were operating with blockchain technology. Corruption can really be checked with the use of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
Lol, you think Africa wants to get out of this corrupt state they have been since their fore fathers? I think the best you can ever take to really kill the vision of blockchain technology or get African government to declare cryptocurrency illegal is to let them know that cryptocurrency has the ability to curb corruption when being implemented and used for their system.

When we are talking of blockchain technology, Africa should be the least of people that we see accept the technology, I think Europe and Asia will do better in this regard. Look at America, I cannot believe that with their level of technology know how, trump could still be fighting against cryptocurrency despite the fact that he knows the benefit of it to both him, his country and the citizens.
1970  Economy / Economics / Re: Over 100,000,000,000 In Volume on: July 25, 2019, 02:18:27 PM
The market seemingly has over 100 Billion in volume and growing as of today, do you think this is a good or bad thing for the economy and where is the market headed to next? Speculations and thoughts?
Those volume would not have been a bad thing if they were really being use for the main purpose they were created for, but from tat volume, how many is the real volume too, we have some fake volumes inside, and majority of the volume you see inside that figure are already dead volumes, if the volume was high and from a genuine projects, it would have been a very great thing, because it shows that cryptocurrency is fast growing.

I think we will continue with this growth until we record over trillions of volumes found in the total market, by this time, maybe bitcoin would have started gaining more adoption and heading towards becoming stable. Out of that volume, I am sure that only about 50% of it is really being used and still active. I hope that with time, those volumes will increase out of genuine purpose.
1971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUYBACK TOKENS SOLVES DUMPING on: July 25, 2019, 08:14:46 AM
The buyback mechanism really have good effect on dumpers trying to dump their tokens ,lately two projects I promoted started buying back their own token from bounty hunters or big whales who wants to sell off and move on ,the first project is miracle tele project and the buyback is already on going ,the second one is about to start and the name is CHELLE Coin, buying back tokens is a brilliant idea what do you guys think?
Very brilliant idea, and it helps the value of the token grow, I guess they are just learning from the strategies of Binance, because this was the strategy that Binance first used in making their value appreciate, I learnt that what Binance usually do then was to buy back all these tokens, and they just don’t buy them to keep, they buy them to burn, so they burn the tokens thereby reducing the supply of the token available in the market and then the demands available will continue to grow the value, and we know that this is the strategy that make the value of a coin grow more, the higher the demand and lesser supply, the more the value will grow. For these companies that have also adopted same strategy, I guess it is very okay provided they will burn the token.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A way to dump without having a huge impact of value on: July 25, 2019, 07:43:03 AM
Are investors ever reasonable in their dumping, do they have the heart to even think of the system? When it comes to investment in cryptocurrency, most investors only think of their pocket and so long that their pocket can be full, they don’t care what happens to the coin, this is the same way that the whales operates too.

I think the only people that still cares a little about a particular project they have investment in are market makers or when there is an involvement of institutional capital, they don’t just dump everything they have at once knowing fully well the impact it will have on the system. No investor will willingly not want to dump large amount of their token when they see profit, the only place where the control can come from is from exchanges and from the developers, they can just limit the amount they can withdraw within a particular time frame.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collecting multiple ERC20 tokens. Good luck! on: July 25, 2019, 04:07:06 AM
It may have high selling point and it may not have, some of them might have even turned to shitcoins before the altcoins bull run, but there is nothing much you can do than just to wait and see the effect of altcoins bull run on them, you might be lucky to have some that will surge up to 1000x , and if they do, then that is money for you, but I would not advise that you rely on these coins alone as investment, because I can’t seems to see any popular project that you have worked on here.

It is better you still raise some little fund to directly invest in some of the altcoins that we have listed at the top 100 of the marketcap, so that you don’t lose out when the bull run start in case you have promoted projects that will not respond to alts bull  because not all alt will, believe me.
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Cap Alts Speculation on: July 24, 2019, 08:07:17 PM

why you are not mentioning your small caps coin here mate
so, people will think and do their research before investing
i believe if we drop our money in small caps coin with huge potential, we can make a good ROI buddy
And what are you even doing on here? It's other choice to whether they want (they can share their altcoin or even just comment on other's choice). Do you can see the future which altcoin will be potential later?
it will be very difficult. because only projects that have products that really work and are useful in the market will have growth progress in the future. I chose from the start, I think that's impossible because now many projects don't work and maybe their tokens will die and be discarded from the market.
Most projects that you can still see with working products are the one within the first 100 on this coinmarketcap, but many investors are not paying so much attention to them because they are probably old and they are being carried away by the promises that all these new projects do promise them.

Some of them feel they are established to offer solution to a problem those older coins cannot solve, and then they get attention and support of investors, before you know it, they fail to deliver on their promises and end up failing the public. We really need to continue giving our support to these old projects because they have virtually covered all the necessary areas where blockchain technology has the ability to over and solve any problem that arises.
1975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm interested in trading but don't know where to start. Any tips? on: July 24, 2019, 03:42:30 PM
I am newbie in trading. can you guys please help me ? How much money do I need to get started?
This topic has come up several times on this forum and if you are familiar with the forum, you would have seen lots of constructive comments as regards this issue, you can still go back and check for those answers for further assistance, but for this post, I think there is no limit to which amount you can use to trade, you can trade with any amount that you are sure fees will not take away, provided you are able to pay fees and still have to trade with.

The amount you can trade with depend on your pocket also, the more you trade with, the more money you make, and vice versa, so everything still depends on you, but for me, I think you should start with about $100, but before you go into trading, make sure you have the right strategy in place. I just learnt of someone that claim he used $375 to trade and made $200k in two months, I don’t know how true this is, but if it was true, only the right strategy would have helped him out.
1976  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc dump. It is time for some alts to recover against BTC on: July 24, 2019, 02:26:37 PM
I am seeing btc can dump to as low as $7700 level. I think it is not the end of BTC bull run but as BTC dominance so high and alts bleeding from January against BTC i think it is time now for some alts to recover.

XRP went down from 10000 sat to as low as 2800 sat. My bet goes to XRP this time and i think can recover to 4500 - 6000 sat area.
I really don't think XRP will pump at this stage. It is one of the top alts but it is not a technology enterprise that is devoting much to the crypto market.
it is only a centralized system and is considered a big bank in crypto. The growth will not be comparable to other technology alts such as ETH, EOS, and Monero.
Don't buy it just because XRP has many fans and they always fomo.
I still really do not understand the technology of ripple and what its community is really using it for, that is if they have any community at all, because their activities in quite strange to me, just recently, barely some weeks back, Litecoin was almost topping ripple and displacing it off its position, because the market cap was almost same, but check ripple now, you will see that the market cap has already doubled that of Litecoin and yet their value still remain the same.

Litecoin that only increased slightly has even added to its value, which means people are just deceiving themselves thinking ripple is an investment coin, ripple is more like just a stable coin, and it will shock its investors how the altcoins season will come, step up other coin and still will not have any effect on ripple.
1977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: July 24, 2019, 01:55:18 PM
buying btc with a credit card on Binanace is possible and very easy even from the application but you must be vrificato on Binance so you have inserted the identity documents and the selfie
Yes, Binance has this function on their platform, but they are using third party application, and you know that transactions through third party is usually quite very expensive, and you have to consider all these before you think of using credit card, someone who is planning to trade with very little capital will end up not being able to trade again by the time he pays all these fees in cryptocurrency.

I think it is better one gets coins through local exchange and deposit directly into the bank, or make transfers like I do in my country than to use credit card to make purchases. For the KYC, I think everyone is already getting so use to that and if purchasing on Binance with credit card will favor anyone, I think they would not so much care about the KYC part of it.
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Faith on: July 24, 2019, 11:52:52 AM
Hello everyone, has anyone come across Bitcoin Faith?
Is it possible to exchange the coin except on www.gate.io? There is temporarily closed for input and output
Thank you!
At first when I saw the headline of your post, I was actually thinking we were going to discuss on the faith of bitcoin, how suite the headline is, but only to be used for a shit coin, what do you expect from a coin that is not a fork of bitcoin and just decided to attach the name bitcoin to its name just to make people feel it is associated to bitcoin, and this has really deceived lots of gullible investors.

Look at bitcoin diamond, which was how many people invested in it thinking it has anything to do with bitcoin like every other fork, but unfortunately for its investors, they end up losing their investment after the coin went zero. I don’t see any future in this your so called bitcoin faith, I will advise you just divert your attention straight to other coins that has focus for the future.
1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Has Went to $0 Price? on: July 24, 2019, 06:24:29 AM
I heard that over 85% of crypto from over a few years ago has went to 0.  Is that true or false?

Can someone give me a list of the popular coins that were pretty well known that has went to 0?  The only one i know of is bitconnect.  All the other coins, they might have dropped to pennies but what coins has went straight to 0.
That is a false information and I think that the source of the information over exaggerated the figure, I know we have very large numbers of coins that has gone so low that you could almost see as zero but they have not zero yet, we only have few coins that has zero like Bitcoin diamond, Nem and this bit connect.

I really do not know of any popular coins again, but after this bull run, a whole lots of coin will really go zero, because some of them will tend to rise for the last time during the altcoins season, and many investors if not all that has waited tirelessly will tend to pull their investment out. I am just waiting for this altcoins season like I am waiting for my life, this season will really help lots of people pull their investment out of some of these shit coins.
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: July 24, 2019, 05:28:22 AM
You have to first of all consider their level of success in these IEO first, and also consider If they are really doing their due diligence like Binance before accepting any project on IEO, otherwise, we will still end up having greater percentage of projects that are scam in the market.

The real concept behind IEO is not just to register them and promote them, they could have as well still use other avenue to promote their project, but the concept of IEO is for exchanges to first ensure that whatever project that they are registering has real working product ad have the chances of succeeding when being launched. If project registered are just like the normal ICO that we do have now, then they may still end up being a shitcoins in future or end up being a product of pump and dump strategy of whales making money.
