1981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2017, 04:09:40 PM
That is like asking why are people fishing money out of a bucket. It's cash it's right there it's easy to get you can buy Bitcoin wait two weeks and it'll be worth more. If somebody put out a free dish of money at the local restaurant you'd be the first one to reach in there and grab it , so why ask this question?

He asking cause he doesn't have faith in bitcoin future. Nothing is free as you saying, or that easy. To come to that free dish you need to hear before others, to get there before, with one word you need to be informed.
Its not free, bitcoin have potential to worth more and to be much more in future. Bitcoin is young and if its now progressed so much, what will be in the future when its get old and better accepted? That is why we are holding and trying to earn more if we can to have enough when that times come.
1982  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Taxes on: August 23, 2017, 02:26:07 PM
Some countries have some still don't, that depends from country to country. I know about Australia they paid double taxes on bitcoin, now they don't cause the government nre measures. They wish to push that technology sector and to give it more space for developing. Sooner or later other countries will follow that, some counties will have strict laws about bitcoin, others will be more opened to bitcoin. There is no way to predict what will happen, we need to wait and see. Every country will be specific, and I think we will see many different decisions and laws in the future.
1983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: August 23, 2017, 10:07:27 AM
if you want you can buy NEM vs RIPPLE, i think true coin potential. You need circumspect gas invest any coin.
Because any coin can become coin garbage

It is really bad idea to buy ripple now, when it's price rose by 55% in few days. Soon it might dumb down so it is really risky to buy it now imo.

I'd say bitcoin and etherium. Yes they are popular and my opinion is boring, but it is much more risky to buy other coins instead of these older ones which are little bit more stable.

Be honest and say what happened with ripple price in last few weeks, price dropped on 3000 sat and now its back on 6000. and price was around 10k satoshis. Price will recover, and rise in my opinion. I have ripple for a long time now, I was buying on 10k, 6k and 3k, so I`m waiting price to go much higher, and I`m a ripple holder and I plan to hold for a long time of period.
Bitcoin and eth are good coins, no doubt in that. I will suggest lisk also, they have some good plans for future, price now is under 1 mbtc and I expect that to go up, their team is working on something and that is always good to hear about some coin that have active devs.

1985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: too many coins how to decide which to buy? on: August 21, 2017, 07:02:45 PM
For me couple things are important, and you can find that in almost every similar thread, and they are: devs behind a coin, check how active they are, do they have profiles in social networks and how active they are, do they have history or newly made profiles (just social network accounts is never enough, its easy to make new account and scam people). Active community, only altcoins with active community can progress in the future, and last but nothing less important trading volumes on several exchangers, if its possible to trade with altcoin in more then one place.
Sometimes its enough you to believe in something and to invest your knowledge, money and time in some altcoins, that is a beauty of crypto world you have so many options. I'm buying some altcoins that I believe in, but I don't have for all altcoins that I would like to have in my possession. Life is full of choices and I just hope that I'm making right ones.
1986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Crash?? on: August 20, 2017, 12:57:56 PM
I read in several Newspaper that experts think the Bitcoin is gonna crash soon. What do you think? Huh

Haha you couldn't read that, you are a liar!!! Why didn't you share the links? One more fud thread started by a newbie, I wonder who paid you to open account here and post this nonsenses.
I always get a bit annoyed when I see threads like this one, shit people can't do anything good and then they are trying to draw attention in anyway possible.
I also wonder did you really opened account here just to post this thread and disappear after like many other fudsters? Probably yes, Cryptoticker I will remember your username for sure!
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Successful ICOs? on: August 20, 2017, 10:39:51 AM
Of many ICOs happening everyday, most of them just a scam, the most successful ICOs were of established services or best new startup concepts.
In my opinion Tezos was the most successful ICO and betking.io too will become one of the largest ICO ever.

If you mentioned betking like casino ico do you think that bitdice ico can make good results too? Both are casinos with good results in the past, both have big plans for the future and in both casinos we will see new games and different updates and upgrades.
One year ago:
#bitcoin = $580 (up 7x)
#ether = $11 (up 27x)
#ripple = $0.006 (up 25x)
#litecoin = $3.60 (up 13x)
#dash = $13 (up 22x)
OP probably wish to know next big thing in ICO world, I shared some nice message from one telegram group, as you can see some coins are already in their way up, others will have to do a lot of work to break trough and which ico is the next big thing we will see. I also think that casino coins will make something more, kick maybe. And for sure coins from my list will rise more.
1988  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: August 20, 2017, 08:58:01 AM
Trading is more profitable.
Mining is profitable if you have millions of $ to invest.

Trade is not always profitable. Especially if you are a beginner, it will be difficult for you to make a profit. But if you just keep coins, they will not be valued. Therefore, many go to trade. Mining requires a lot of capital, so not everyone can afford it
It is easy to learn of proper trading, much better if you have lots of capital you can make much higher income your time of waiting is worth it. Because me i just keep in trading in bitcoin not in altcoin. Even its hard to make profit in bitcoin but since i have enough bitcoin i can generate high profit when value of bitcoin rises.

Maybe its easy to learn proper trading, but it's not just that you need to learn about trading, you also need a time for trading, its like a job, spending time in front of computer is required. With mining except setting up miner's to work and mine you don't have much obligations, If I could choose I would rather choose mining over trading, and one of my next plans will be buying some mining rigs, but not for bitcoin, I would like to start with some altcoin with not so high difficulty, but that is just a plan for now.
Both trading and mining can be profitable, with proper approach and dedication anything is possible.
1989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help with poker on: August 20, 2017, 07:00:56 AM
If you wish to play free rolls you can do it on betcoin.ag. Not only that you have free roll almost every hour you have free satellites for better tournaments, but its not easy to win there are a lot good players there.
Also tonight is 250 GTD thank you free roll tournament, ticket for that is hard to get, one with registration and for more you need to be active on the betcoin.ag site and their community. I plan to play this evening, last couple times I didn't have luck at all, I lost chips very fast, but tonight is my night!!! See you there, and to add you can deposit btc eth and ltc on betcoin.ag.
1990  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: August 19, 2017, 11:01:38 PM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?

I don't really think that money is above everything else. There are a lot of things that money can't buy like happiness, love, respect and a lot more. There are a lot of rich people who are not even happy. There are families who are poor but happy and contented. So, I believe that money is a necessity, but it is not that essential.
But money is a must on our life, if you even want to keep your life and you will need money to buy your daily needs, If you are the crypto users and believe my money is everything because crypto is money and every where is money.
Crypto has made to be the digital money and it always about money.

In chasing for money important things are passing near us, that is the real truth. I also don`t think that money should be above everything else, but what I think and reality out there is different things, tomorrow I need to wake up early in the morning and go to work all day, when I come home I will work from home again for bitcoin, which is better then going to work 12 hours. But if you ask me I would spent Sunday completely different but I can`t I know that i need to work if I wish to have money for bills, for home, for some little fun. In the end its all about the money, cause of the money we do many things, if we have more money we know we would do things differently. Digital or ordinary money is the same, if you have it you have it, you can use it and live a nice life, if not you will work for it everyday.
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins needed for martingale on: August 19, 2017, 06:50:23 PM
Martingale had been one of the worst techniques I've ever tried gambling over dice sites. Even with your mentioned minimum bet, the loss sequence can cross levels where you may find yourself unsuitable to bet and until you realise, you could have already lost too much over the automated betting and that's how house eats your bankroll.

That is proven, and martingale lead to disaster. But with so many topics about martingale and million comments how martingale is bad strategy people still don`t understand. Like nothing can convince them that martingale is bad idea from the start, and there is no amount of money that can help anyone to win with martingale strategy.
First OP wanted to bet in bitcoins, then in doge coins, its the same casinos are have maximum bet in dollars, convert it in currency you gamble and there is max limit. I think fortune jack is best example of that, I`m not sure is it still like that cause I didn`t play dices there for a while but with bitcoins minimum bet was 0.000001 (or 10 sat.), with litecoins around 1000 litetoshis, and doge was 10 doges or something like that. Anyway point is that with cheap coins you don`t have minimal bets in decimals.
I lost many times with automated betting, I don`t plan to bet like that ever again, even if I have 10 bitcoins, simply no.
1992  Economy / Speculation / Re: So where exactly are we in the bubble? on: August 19, 2017, 02:38:23 PM
Anyone who has studied classic Economics will tell you that bitcoin is a bubble, but he can develop and become a full-fledged currency. Such an experiment has already been carried out on the scale of one country. It was a company of MMM in Russia. Now her head is on the loose and maybe Satoshi is a pseudonym Mavrodi.

Yes but bitcoin is not a classic asset.

Bitcoin is a religion, that is what analysts are failing to perceive.

Maybe you gone a little far with saying that bitcoin is a religion, I understand money today is everything, but its not good to believe in money too much, I hope that you are just joking about this.
Coffee135 made nice point here, and what i like most is his opinion that bitcoin can become full-fledged currency one day. That is similar with what I think. and reason why your comment draw my attention is my discussion in one other thread. Bitcoin already can be used in real economy, to not rush with overtaking, but for sure bitcoin can and will be used in real life more and more in the future. About bubble I can`t agree with you, more money pumped in, more usage and demand will push price up, you may call it bubble, cause bubbles rise like price now, but this bubble will not be easy to break.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gift For Kid on: August 18, 2017, 01:53:05 PM
This toys are not for kids, I saw them and every time I said my clear opinion about this to parents that approve this kind of toys for their kids. I'm a gambler, but I'm adult person and people shouldn't start to gamble in teenage years. First build yourself a character, then start to gamble is my opinion, and I see that most of people in this thread thinks same like me and I'm glad for that. Some  things and life pleasures are not for young kids, and this kind of games are sending wrong message to the kids, gambling can be fun but also can be dangerous if person is naive and with weak personality. But can we do something to stop selling of this gambling games for kids?
1994  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: August 18, 2017, 05:11:47 AM
So as far as we know BTC currency is growing wide, do you think there will be when it become a national currency? If yes, why?If not, why?

As long as the goverment and banks cannot make money out of bitcoins, i say not. Because that is just what they are after. They wouldn't even care how useful bitcoins is. They will make it look bad as much as they can because they cannot get sht from it. Plus bitcoin has no physical property. And by physical i mean something we can literally hold in our hands and put in our pockets which we can also trade offline.

Where are nations in globalization? That is the first thing I ask myself when I start to think about this question and many other similar ones. I didn't want mmf to control my paycheck but they are dusng that and much more, will bitcoin be a national currency doesn't depends from us, who ask us ordinary people?
This is nice discussion, let's open more questions. Japan legalized bitcoin, if they rid of traditional Jen what currency will they use? Next legal one is bitcoin, or they will make their own crypto currency? Pretty same situation is with other countries, what will other countries do? Japan and other countries that legalized bitcoin didn't have referendum about it, why do anyone think that we ordinary people have a vote in this?
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just don't on: August 17, 2017, 03:28:41 PM
What is your...what strategy...experience...game....bla bla bla...what about this:
How many of you gambled when you were drunk? Or stoned? Experience?
Don't gamble when you are drunk.
Just....do not.
I dont gamble when im drunk because usually i tend to sleep directly and wont either to bother to play gambling or turn on my pc just to play gambling. Since when i do drink alcohol usually i end up on not on remembering everything which means i dont have self control or limits when im drinking thats why i end up on sleeping directly.

I gambled drunk few times and its nothing special, after a while I get bored and stopped, when I'm drunk I'm not in a mood to gamble. Gambling while I smoke a nice fat cigar is something else, that is a pure pleasure. I arrange ambient as I like, roll couple cigars while I'm playing. Evenings like that are my favorite ones, when I have enough money and free time I can spend hour's in gambling. Its kind like relaxation to me, and I would like to have more evenings like that one.
1996  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixer and tumbler on: August 17, 2017, 08:48:08 AM
The thing is, most people do not know who operates these mixer services... it might just be the government.  Roll Eyes ..... like they are running exit nodes on the Tor network.  Tongue

If the US government isn't running a mixer service, they will be soon. The Hansa market honeypot makes very clear what direction things are going. Going forward, no centralized services can be trusted--assume any centralized service potentially logging your activities (or at least your metadata) is a honeypot and act accordingly. I'm amazed at the level of funds people put at risk on the darknet markets.

They dont have to run their own mixing service but what they can do is compromise multiple mixing service just like what they allegedly did to bitmixer.io.

Did you all read that funny final message from the owner? It almost looked like he was trying to discredit himself to make the community think something is really wrong.

Mixers are not run by any government, but BitMixer doesn`t exist, they shut down the service and here its why:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2042470.0
`When we started this service I was convinced that any Bitcoin user has a natural right to privacy. I was totally wrong. Now I grasped that Bitcoin is transparent non-anonymous system by design. Blockchain is a great open book. I believe that Bitcoin will have a great future without dark market transactions.`

Transactions can be followed no matter how small or big transactions are, you use service (mixer or tumbler) to hide where your transactions is going, cause you send it to service and then service mix/tumble all transactions and only then send. But service knows where your transaction is going, so if they are not protected well enough someone can hack them and see all transactions, of course service can decide to keep logs for some time or delete it after transaction.

I agree with BitMixer opinion `Very soon this kind of activity will be considered as illegal in most of countries. `, and this is right, bitcoin will not be anonymous and law enforcement agencies will be able to keep track of all bitcoin transactions.
1997  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Making bitcoin with twitter still possible? on: August 16, 2017, 04:56:06 PM
Yes it is possible, you can earn token which you can exchange into bitcoin, but there some social media campaign that pays directly in bitcoin.. you must have only twitter or facebook account  and your only work is  share, retweet like , and tweet.  You can also join on thier chatroon example is on slack or telegram, they will also give you token by participating.
Yeah right it is possible to earn bitcoin in Twitter especially in bounty threads, you just only do is to tweet and retweet. However, the reality in Twitter is no direct earnings of bitcoin, because there's no captchas or movie adds in Twitter.

Bounties are very popular this days, if you have a lot of friends and followers you can earn a lot of tokens on twitter and facebook, social media bounty campaigns. I'm participating in BitDice ICO bounty campaign, they have just Twitter campaign and I will see how its going to be, this is my first bounty.
There is some Twitter campaigns that pays directly with bitcoins, but those campaigns are full, and I never saw an empty space. I think this is a good way to earn some tokens and later exchange it to bitcoins if you wish, but some tokes are worth to hold for some time and you can earn more from that. Anyway I still don't know much, I will see how its going to be for couple months and I will share my experience here.
1998  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Poker Brand for BTC on: August 16, 2017, 03:25:42 PM
I don't like pokerstars, much more interesting poker place for me is 888, call it as you like its the taste, I like 888 more cause of the look, awesome promotions, prizes, tournaments, different cash games, reward and loyalty program. I open 888 poker every single day, I can't skip one day cause I always spin that wheel for some nice prize, ticket, 3$ sports bet, 5$ for casino...
When we talk about bitcoin poker my favorite site is the one I advertise betcoin.ag, nice tournaments, loyalty program is also good, there is some nice free tournaments.

Now about new site, everything is important, general experience must be very good. I think that we count everything starting from the look of your site, support, good promotion and bonuses for first players, rakeback, some leaderboards with prizes for people on that list, you need to think about everything before you see people on your poker tables. Most of us already have our favorite places, and you really need to offer something unique and a bit better then others to attract players to come to play poker in your site.
1999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: give me some tips about trading?? on: August 16, 2017, 12:48:39 AM
I trade on poloniex, from day trading I moved on to holding for some time before selling. Times are tricky, trading is not easy, prices are changing all the time and catching a right moment for buying or selling is harder then ever. Bitcoin price is going up, alts are going down, ico`s are coming in large numbers, what to choose?
My advice to all people is find a good coin, do a quality research, buy and hold until you get to desired profit and then sell. Its what I am doing, at the moment I just hold, like I said most of the alts are down and I took this opportunity to buy more, today when I watched prices are going up again, but that doesn`t need to mean much in crypto world. I`m holding and I expect some coins to rise in next months or years, that is holding and patience of course, do you have it?
2000  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Long Bitcoin Will Bullish on: August 15, 2017, 02:51:38 PM
Bitcoin will definitely touch $6k this year. The demand was already high. But all that FUD and uncertainly in the month of July lead to a dip. But acceptance is increasing and hence the investors were only waiting for August and with Segwit being locked in there is another positive wave in community. Now the price will be on uptrend with some short term ups and downs.

Your statement is pretty optimistic, bitcoin price is in long term uptrend with occasional falls I need to correct you, and since the beginning of the year price is x3 higher, that is a good argument.
I think this uptrend will stop in one moment, price is rising for too long and we will see correction soon. Bullish trend need to make a pause in one moment, but that is only my prediction. Bitcoin price surprised us all many times, and for making future predictions we need to think outside the box. Bitcoin price will definitely go very high, what is hard for me to predict is whit which tempo price will go up, and how many dips we will see until we make it to the top. Did I say top, will anyone here dare to guess where is bitcoin top?
