1981  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening right now? (2018/10/15) on: October 19, 2018, 05:01:00 PM
Actually if this goes like the last halving pump in late 2013, next year would be like 2015, not 2016. We would have another year and a few months of bear mkt.

this year already looks pretty similar to 2015 with the flat line of the price that has been lasting for months without being capable of going either below that bottom line or above the resistance. on top of it we have the same attitude from people like you expecting a long bear market which is always a good sign for the end of it.

Yeah and it's always better to expect the worse and prepare for it than look forward to a bull run that nobody knows when will come. The fluctuation right now isn't that high anyways so i guess we're neither under the bears or bulls.
1982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: October 19, 2018, 04:57:41 PM
Disease is something that requires us to take medication given by a doctor to cure it, in contrast to gambling that is only bad habits or bad hobbies that continue to be done even though they know it is bad. Addiction in gambling cannot be cured by medication given by a doctor's prescription, to eliminate gambling addiction we only need to leave it in any way you can, so you will slowly get rid of your addiction in gambling.
But medication help is more important to save someone when they are in serious addiction which can be considered as disease? There are different kind of addiction and also in different levels so most of them no need medical help but psychological advice will be much important when someone want to recover.
Actually gambling addiction is a mental issue, so psychological advice may help people who are suffering from gambling addiction as you said.

Well since you said it that way, it also can be considered as a disease for those that are deep in addiction already that it requires professional help. We have to accept that as a fact. Heavy addiction needs all the professional help it can get along with the help of family and friends.
1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better in poker: bluffing or playing only with good cards? on: October 19, 2018, 04:55:07 PM
I really like poker, bluffing to shake the opponent's mentality is the art of poker in my opinion Grin. We can combine, sometimes we bully, sometimes we hold it, feeling we have to be good at playing poker, don't let the opponent read our tricks, but we must be able to read their tricks. Once again I really like poker.

Poker is a skill based game and it's tricky when we have to observe everyone on the table. Bluffing too often is not good player strategy. We have to know when to do it and we do it at the right time. For me, poker is not favourite game of mine.

Sometimes bluffing is also a good strategy for specific high risk moments when there are high stakes on the table or to provide more strong looks against oponents.
In my country most of the gamblers play poker game and they first master themselves in bluffing. Without bluffing you cannot win poker game. Good cards will not help you the most. When two gamblers set in front of each other both are well experienced and then the games turns into very interesting stage. Both try to defeat each other but the skills take the money.

Another thing though, it's easier to bluff if you hold most of the chips in the table. Or if you have nothing to lose anymore lol. Sticking to either of these two would make you predictable and we all know that your goal has to as unprrdictable as possible.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: October 18, 2018, 03:45:38 PM
How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? There are people using very fine techniques like selling bitcoin cash in name of bitcoins using confusing websites name. How to be safe from such scams ?
I suggest that you buy bitcoin in a large and trusted exchange. Don't buy bitcoin from a new person or exchange

It's not that difficult really. You have less chances of being scammed by just being aware of what you're doing. Most of the time scammers vicitmize newbies who are blinded by easy quick money that they don't exert effort to know about the market. Keep yourself informed and you're more on the safe side.
1985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China can destroy bitcoin on: October 18, 2018, 03:36:59 PM
if you look at the development of technology, bitcoin will be very difficult to destroy by the Chinese state because they provide prices and very many use bitcoin as a payment tool there so I am sure the price of bitcoin will be very difficult to destroy.

Yeah, and it's not as if china hasn't tried before. Bans here and there, statements against btc and crypto, etc. Well they did initially had an effect to pull the value down but we all know btc bounced back and made the 2017 run amidst china's anti crypto antics. Crypto would do well with it, but it doesn't need china.
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just one coin... on: October 18, 2018, 02:50:06 PM
I think you are right. I think it's hard not to worry about the price drop if you buy at peak and we forget that this is a promising technology that is actively changing our world. Even before I started investing in bitcoin, I knew the risks but I still patiently waited for the development of bitcoin.

Well a person who studied about crypto or bitcoin before investing should have a pretty good understanding that things like this happen. Unless you're aiming for a year or more of holding, it's natural to feel anxious when you see your investments drop but if you know what you've gotten yourself into, it shouldn't have that much effect.
1987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can i purchase large quantity of bitcoins, and remain anonymous ? on: October 18, 2018, 02:11:25 PM
Hello community, i wanted to ask that is there any place where i can buy large quantity of bitcoins like 15-20 bitcoins and remain anonymous at the same time. any help would be appreciated Smiley
I think no place you can buy bitcoins around 20 maybe you can buy it to another person but no need a courier to still anonymous and for your safety, if i were you better to buy bitcoin in almost all of the exchanger online for the less hassle, safe and fast transaction.

Well if you know someone personally who owns that much btc and is willing to sell them, then that's your best option though that's a far throw. And doing it on a single exchange isn't that safe as well since it'll look suspicious. Better do it little by little dude.
1988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon anniversary-10 years. on: October 18, 2018, 02:06:45 PM
In the future, we will use bitcoin in everyday transactions and it will become a global currency.

this is so cool!

Did you come from the future?
maybe you have a crystal ball like me?

I don't really think we are going to use BTC for the everyday transaction. Probably another one, faster and cheaper.

And it is already a Global Currency.

Incredible too think what the crypto space has on the Horizon. State of everything will be much more refined and mature in the future thanks to pioneers like yourself and all the other! The oldest generation never thought of cell phones, now they have smart ones. We might get even more than we expect in these 5-10 years  Wink

Fingers crossed dude hopefully that happens. Bitcoin has come a long way from 10 years ago and i think people are now reslizing that this is legitimate unlike the bubbles that happened before like dotcom. And this is only the beginning.
1989  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keep All Coins in Hardware Wallet vs Separating Some in Exchanges/Other Wallets on: October 18, 2018, 02:03:00 PM
Even if you are day trading you should never leave your coins in the exchange, after all at some point you are going to stop trading for the day, whether this is because you have to sleep or because you have something else to do, but whatever the reason you are going to stop trading at some point and it is way better to just withdraw your coins from the exchange, it is true that you have to pay fees to transfer your coins back and forth several times but if you are not producing enough profits with your day trading just to pay the transaction cost then you should probably review your strategy, doing this may seem as doing too much to some people but when the exchange gets hacked and your coins are safely stored in your wallet that is when you are going to appreciate going through all of that trouble.

Hacking is not the only problem you can have if you leave your coins in an exchange. Sometimes, the exchanges change their policies all of a sudden, they may require new verification levels and ask you for documentation while they freeze your funds.

Well if you're actively trading though, it makes sense to leave coins in an exchange. You have to consider the transaction fees that you have to pay to move your coins back and forth. We all are aware that for long term investments, of course your own wallet is the safest place to keep your coins but i think it's ok to put your moving coins in an exchange.
1990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 18, 2018, 01:24:50 PM

@harizen To be honest it's the first time our lines and offers have been good enough to come in here to discuss with all you hardcore NBA fans! Our Sportsbook team made a massive effort to update our NBA offerings over the summer, not just with the odds and margins but the huge amount of player props we now offer on most games. I'm hoping we can start tempting some of the more savvy NBA bettors to check out our service now!

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Oh I see. That's why you are here. Smiley Hope you can get those "old" customers back and attract new ones. Im willing to diversify some amounts now at your site as I want to check that "improvements".

Edit: Great win for Suns

Awesome, Ayton had made 6 asssist as a Center/PF alongside with his Double-Double performance. As usual, Suns usual cagers did some great production and look what.. Trevor Ariza's presence does really give a great boost on Suns offense. Still no doubt one of the good best role players nowadays in the league.

What happened to Houston Rockets?

Carmelo Anthony looks like not comfortable for a bench role. Still finding the right blend or really can considered as inconsistent player right now?

That's always been the issue with melo. It's hard to find a team where he actually can fit perfectly. With pg and russ back in okc, one would think they can seriously contend for a deeper playoff appearance. I'm not really sure if the rockets will benefit from this acquisition.
1991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: October 18, 2018, 01:21:23 PM
Maybe on the same cart: Khabib vs McGregor? What do you think?

Lol. Are you trolling or what? Khabib vs McGregor is UFC and Pacquaio vs Mayweather is Boxing. I would have understand if this two events clash in one day but in the same card? No, I doubt that it will happen because of so much politics in sports right now and two different sport disciple.
Honestly I do not even see the two things similar in the sound it would create. I agree that ufc has been getting bigger and bigger and boxing has not been doing really well like it used to but Mayweather and Pacman fighting is a great event and definitely attracts a lot of people whereas Khabib and Conor are just showmen trying to get more viewers by what they are doing at every corner because they know just from their fighting talents.

Mayweather has been undefeated for a long long time and Pacman was the only person that was remotely close to beating him and the fight had to become really really boring for the viewers for Mayweather to get the game and this time around if they end up fighting I am sure everyone will root for Pacman to beat Mayweather so it would attract a lot of viewers whereas people literally stopped caring about Conor vs Khabib after 2 days.

Pacman was closest to beat Floyd, but that during Pacman's prime. But Floyd refuses to fight him and let him get bang by bigger Welterweight and even Middleweight. And when the time comes that the two faces in the right, Pacman was not the same and his speed was gone that's why he didn't even hit Floyd flush (although others will argue that Mayweather's defense is the best). Yes, many will watch just to see Mayweather lose to Pacman, but I don't see it happening though.
You're right. I think Floyd was an opportunists fighter right from the get go cause Pacman was not at his best when he faced May weather even Floyd knew he couldn't beat Pacman. Despite his slow speed,Pacman was apparently not in good health when he came into the ring and this was the reason why he was sued for false claimed.

Honestly, sports are not like before

Maybe Floyd wanted to fight Pacman again because he wanted to make money. This two fighters are very well-known globally and every fight that they made, they always earn millions of dollars and this is why Floyd wanted to do it again. Well, let's just see the news if these speculation could be happen.

You can't blame floyd for playing his cards right though. The guy uses his head inside and outside the ring to put himself always at an advantage. We can only speculate what coukd have happened had they fought during their primes but another fight at this point would definitely rake in millions for both fighters.
1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 15, 2018, 05:55:16 PM
I don't agree. I always see more elderly. people in casinos.
The reason is that new generation spends most of their time in computer and online gambling provides them the facility to gamble from their bedroom. Now there is no need to go outside for gambling and the elders will also never know about their gambling. That’s why the number of youngsters increases day by day. They do not understand what they are doing.

Yes, they can play gambling by secretly without anyone know and if they played for a long time then they have a chance to be addicting in gambling and we need to worry about them. So for people who have teenagers, watching your kids and don't let them in their bedroom for a long time and talk to them or discuss anything so they can open mind for something that is not for them.

The elderly people you see in casinos are more likely to have control over their expenses and have not much use for their money. And the daring of youth most of the time makes them prone to being excessive in things that interest them.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: October 15, 2018, 05:46:00 PM
Anyone who gambles will definitely seek profit and pleasure is an added value for those who are able to win gambling and also every gambler certainly does not have an equal addiction, because everyone has their own way of life and gambling is an option that they might consider will improve their finances, even though I just feel gambling is unnoticed money spending.
Anybody who thinks they can make money from gambling are fools. If you get lucky you will win big but if you dont get lucky then you will lose. The casino is a place for the owners of the casino to make money not to let people rob their house - its not a charity. If the promises seem to good to be true then you should watch your step and think twice before you act.

Being willing to attempt the luck based games shows that the person is going to get addicted soon. They should mend their ways and keep proper control over it.

Some people do get consistent profit from gambling though, such as professional gamblers and i wouldn't  call them fools. Gambling works for certain individuals though not for most of us, and it's your responsibility to know your limits if you're not part of that few.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Popular Betting Strategies on: October 15, 2018, 05:36:04 PM
IMO, it's depend on what type of gambling do you play.
For example :
dice , martiangle is great way to earn quick profit
Poker, if you have guts and luck , you will win big ,today

So there are no guarantee that same strategy will make you win, you need to improved your strategy and recycle with new one every period.

That's why I always suggest mixing, it's the only thing that can work. Play dirty, aggressive, make surprised bets, but all that works for luck based games. Poker on the other side can be tricky, you play against other people and you never know how crazy they are, maybe they will try to bluff you and to get some crazy river card and knock you from your chair. I can say that losing some crazy poker hand make me more nervous than losing two times more money on dices, poker is crazy game and if you play it a lot you can see everything, with luck based games you know where you are, you play against casino.

There really aren't any fool proof strategies bith for luck based and skill based games. Martingale can only take you so far depending on how big your capital is. Being unpredictable in poker can sometimes backfire on you. And upsets happen even in the most lopsided sport matchups.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 12, 2018, 11:35:16 AM
Do you think its a good move from Khabib to make a threat? There's only a few promotional company around, Bellator MMA. ONE which is Asia base and WSF. However, those two doesn't have any good fighters to begin with. Bellator MMA is a good choice but there's no money in the line.
I think it is just a result of the burst of emotions. Things that happened is so fresh and expect that kind of statement. When time passed by and cooler heads prevail, they will know what's the right move to do next which is a rematch because of that huge amount of money involve and they don't need to spend a lot of money promoting it cause people are waiting for it to happen.

Its going to be one of his biggest mistakes if Khabib decided to quit UFC and bring his talent to other MMA organizations. He needs to calm down and think about the future. He is already a superstar in UFC specially with the win against Conor.

I agree that this is just a emotional burst on his side, He already won, no need to take personally. Conor has been defeated and relegated already and fans already know who's the better man. IF he decided to leave UFC then he won't get the same money his getting in UFC right now.

What if it's not about the money though? He already went against character when he jumped off the octagon believing that it's personal between him and mcgregor's team. Though you're all correct that things may change when he thoroughly thinks about it but you can't blame the man for being too emotional.
1996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Crash on: October 10, 2018, 05:57:20 PM
Don't believe on news of that believe on what you see on bitcoin all negative feedback of bitcoin is just a way of many others try to destroyed of faith on cryptocurrency they afraid of the power of it that in the future cryptocurrency will replace fiat currency.
Yeah it is right and that’s why I never believe in news and predictions and anything else. I always believe in the current situation of the market and the current market situation tells that price is almost stable and there is no increase in it, but it doesn’t mean that cryptocurrency is going to disappear from the screen. In the near future the price will go up again because of the high investment capital.

Lol. I don't know what these people are getting everytime they say bitcoin will or is crashing. Obviously there are several more of this fud initiaters and the longer it goes, i think people are starting to just shrug them off. Bitcoin has crashed for as many times as anyone could care but it's still here.
1997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: October 10, 2018, 05:49:04 PM
I’m a newbie in trading. I want to improve my trading skills. I have heard some experienced trader said that I should learn and read more before start, and also get some experience. Trading requires a lot of patience and hard work, learn about the way to analyze the price chart, when they can be able to analyze price chart they will know the best time to buy and sell and know which one is the best coin to trade…
I tried one but I falied. There is something I don’t know? Please tell me more.

For starters that's pretty much all there is to do. Gaining experience would be your best chance and ypu attain that through practice. Also, most beginners lose heart when they lose trades. Just remember that even experienced traders lose money so don't be afraid to lose.
1998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is 10% a week posible on: October 10, 2018, 05:40:32 PM
I think it is achievable but ot will be very difficult in current market condition. Now it is bear market you have to be very cautious before investing in any coin.I would suggest you to invest in solid project which have a long term value.Never buy coin that are low in volume because it is very risky.
Pointed out. Gaining a 10% in a week for all trades is possible but difficult to achieve with our current market now. We are on a bear market right now where the prices are quite lower than it got highest this year, it is very risky to invest in a coin with a huge amount of money. I would suggest to not to be afraid, try some and invest some in modest amount so if tragic scenario comes it would be okay.
Of course it is possible because there is not fix prices for the future. You can even make more than 10% in a week. You need to be patient and focus on the situation of the market any time. The more you learn the more you earn. When you have complete knowledge and information of the market coming situation, you will be able to make good money in short time.

Nah. Possible probably for some people but not for everyone. Hitting 10% on a weekly basis means that you're like earning a stable amount. Even long time, experienced traders would be challenged to maintaim that.
1999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the reasons why you must take risk in crypto market? on: October 10, 2018, 05:38:19 PM
The reason is the opportunity give  by crypto that would actually changes the world and the future bitcoin will actual could do that just believe on it.
yes that is certain, the risk is the gift from crypto that we must face and accept humbly. everything that happens is normal every year. I will always believe that crypto will do that and make a surprise, just wait for what happens later.

Those positive aspirations aren't exactly reasons as why one "must" Take the risk. Your decisions should be based on how far you can go on stretching your capital. Of course there's profit but there also are hard losses. In this market, the only "must" Is that you have to be flexible to the market movements.
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: October 09, 2018, 05:52:50 PM
Yes, but unfortunately the situation on the marker says differently, bitcoin influenced is so high in the cryptocurrency market so domination of bitcoin still exist. I don't when this situation will be changed.
Probably will take a long time dude. As we all can see, the market is so dominated by btc that it very seldom moves against it or by it's own. Crypto is still widely seen by those outside the community as bitcoin.
