21  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PCSO Idinemanda Ang Isang Blockchain Company on: November 17, 2023, 04:07:00 PM

Tumatakbo ba ang company nila through blockchain?
22  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tarot cards gamit pang predict ng market? on: November 17, 2023, 03:11:36 PM
I mean in the end predikyon lang din naman na binase niya sa lalabas na card so for sure there was no basis na accurate ang hula niya.
23  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Mores Funds Available - Wanted Borrowers! on: November 17, 2023, 02:56:45 AM

Pero still yung crypto lending ay goods pa rin if ever gagamitin mo for other crypto purposes like emergency funds sa trading at such.
24  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Nag Rug Pull Na Nang Inis Pa, Dev Abandon NFT games on: November 15, 2023, 10:34:41 PM

26  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tataas Kaya Ang Awareness Ng MgaTao Sa Bitcoin Kung May Mga Billboard on: November 12, 2023, 11:54:26 PM

I think it's not that having an impact.

Billboard Advertising Costs in the Philippines in 2023

Basta mag-bull run lang, sapat ng key to awareness iyon. Remember iyong road from $900 to $20,000 nung 2017?

27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler's family action. on: November 12, 2023, 10:57:01 PM
Legally speaking, his family did nothing as gambling establishment can still let this man gamble on their casinos even with their warning as they have no legal basis to sue them. Also, his family not only did an extreme action but they also didn't focus on the problem which is their family member whose addicted to gambling. Instead of them fixing this man, they've inconvenience other businesses.

As per your question, (1) they're actions were extreme but they didn't really help him on stopping his gambling activities. (2) If I were on that gambling addict's position and won a huge amount, I would probably help other people and relatives but would end up broke soon due to continuous gambling activity.
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: November 12, 2023, 09:48:02 PM
Can you just imagine how many gamblers couldn't withdraw their winnings from casinos because they couldn't pass kyc and how much money those casino have earned due to this!
To be honest, I've played on different casinos which state on their terms that they may ask for identity verification but none of them asked me to do so. I suppose I was lucky but we need to keep in mind that they may freeze our accounts at any moment and ask us to submit our documents.
You may be lucky or probably that the platform never really see the need for them to ask you for verification which is the reason they never do so. Most of the users who gets ask for KYC are those who did something against their policy or has suspicious activity.

You may also imagine how many people gamble online even though it is illegal for them to do so. With the amount of countries restricting online gambling or even gambling as a whole, people from those countries still find a way to do so which is why these gambling platforms have earned significant amount just by following through gambling regulations and policies.
29  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Warning] Scam Ledger Live App sa Microsoft Store on: November 12, 2023, 09:03:49 PM
Never really did this, medjo trustworthy kasi ako as long as nanggaling sa mismong website. If ever man na may mangyari at macompromise sila, magiging liable sila sa mga damages na mangyayari sa mga users nila.
30  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Nag Rug Pull Na Nang Inis Pa, Dev Abandon NFT games on: November 12, 2023, 08:15:20 PM
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use bitcoin when gambling? on: November 11, 2023, 11:21:42 PM
I've never gambled online using fiat as I mostly used crypto gambling platform and prefer to gamble locally if doing it that way.
As for I used altcoins and bitcoin for gambling purposes, I mainly used bitcoin for most situation whatever the market it is and even with the high volume transaction and fees, I still use bitcoin with a standard fee and also deposit altcoin and some stablecoins to gamble. Not sure why, but I feel much better gambling with bitcoin as I feel that my strategy works better with it, I mostly play dice and slots with bitcoin. For most case, I only gamble with altcoins and stablecoins thru poker and sportbets.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: November 11, 2023, 09:54:55 PM
This is just common sense. You own a company and there's no issue using the services that your company offer. It is also preferably for company owners use their platform instead of other unless.

Just think of it of having a business that sells groceries goods, where would you get or buy your grocery? The same concept goes for owning a gambling platform, and there's no policy or any conflict of interest would restrict them from using their services. There's even no question of ethics as you own the platform and if you cheat on it, then you cheat of yourself.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Luck and skill, which is more important gambling success? on: November 11, 2023, 05:23:13 PM
I have the believe that success in gambling requires a mixture of luck and skill. This is opposed to some people that believe that gambling is entirely a game of luck and others who believe it is entirely a game of skill.

So I am tempted to inquire if skill is all that is needed to be successful in gambling or luck. Whichever be the option, which of them is the most important factor for gambling success?
The most important thing on gambling is surely luck as all games really requires you to be lucky to be able to have a chance of winning. Even with card games such as poker which are considered as skill-based games cannot be won if you're not lucky, even if your the greatest poker player but if always gets a bad card then you will never won.

But still, it's best to have a certain skills and knowledge on most gambling games to maximize your chance of winning and minimize your loses.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 11, 2023, 03:12:42 PM
It might help some people to be reminded of their gambling expenses and budget but I don't really think that it will be that useful for someone to be responsible on their gambling activities. Most of us are already aware of our budget even being reminded of but we still go beyond that on some occasions especially if we feel that we might be able to win and recover with additional budget.
Good tip but it's really not that useful to control our gambling endeavors.
35  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Warning] Scam Ledger Live App sa Microsoft Store on: November 11, 2023, 01:44:58 PM

Wala, good as wala na talaga yung pera nilang nahack mapa crypto man o fiat kahit galing pa yan sa Microsoft store, apple store o google play store.

Pero out of these three App store, Apple Store yung mas mapagkakatiwalaan mo since sobrang strict sila sa mga application sa platform nila pero still dapat paring maging maingat.
36  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: November 11, 2023, 12:40:53 PM

37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad reality: some countries gamble more than they can afford on: November 10, 2023, 10:50:27 PM
What do you think about this issue where people gamble too much in countries where the vast majority of the population isn't well off? Should governments step in and restrict casinos more perhaps?
It's really isn't about the country whether it's citizens are willing to gamble their money away on these casinos. It's the citizens are at fault if they'll be gambling more than what they can afford to lose and it's not the government's responsibility to rehabilitate these gambling addicts to stop them especially that it's helping the economy of the country as these casinos pay good amount of taxes.
Why does it have to be about poor countries? If a country is rich its ok for its citizens to lose a bunch of money?

You as a person decide whether to gamble or not to gamble. The country IMO has nothing to do with it. Even if the country restricted or limited gambling, there are still ways people would gamble so you really cannot blame it all on the government.

At some point people have to be responsible for their own actions man. Can't just always think someone else is at fault.
Exactly! How can someone blame the government for their irresponsible decision of gambling their funds away that needs to used for their daily needs.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 10, 2023, 08:25:37 PM
Dear fellow gamblers, as title topic said, I have a question/survey for you!

What impact does the BTC price have on your play (gambling both in casino/sports betting/binary options etc)?

Did you play more? Did you play less? Any thought or opinion on that?
As much as I want to say nothing just like anybody else but I can't. The amount of bitcoin or crypto we mostly gamble varies depending on it's value on the market, it's also the reason why the amount of bitcoin being gambled from when I started gambling way back around 2016 isn't the same when gambling right now.  Let's just say I used to play dice with every bet being around 1-0.5mbtc before which isn't that significant amount at that time but if you compare it to today's market and value, there's a high difference.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 10, 2023, 05:15:51 PM
What is the most money you have ever lost in one session? could be land base casino or crypto casino.

mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago

This is too much money, to be honest. I can buy a nice house and land for that amount. And I can't afford to waste such a large amount just on gambling. Maybe the person who did that is a rich person, so it can be considered just a coin to him.

But for a person like me, it would be crazy to throw away such an amount. Terrible! He had the courage to bet on that; maybe he thought that when he hit, it would be too big to come back to him, but that's why the luck he was hoping for didn't agree with him.
He's definitely a rich guy if that is true that he'd bet that amount and lost it. Probably he's a millionaire fulfilling his gambling cravings and I doubt that it really affected him much on his loss.

For us degenerate gamblers, it would probably best to stick with the available budget that we can only spend whatever amount it is as long as it's something we can afford to lose.
40  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tataas Kaya Ang Awareness Ng MgaTao Sa Bitcoin Kung May Mga Billboard on: November 09, 2023, 11:44:45 PM
If I remember correctly, parang way back 2016 or 2017 yun nung college days ko.
