501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it really possible to quit on these reasons on: October 31, 2022, 10:50:45 AM
You can quit anytime you want as it is at our own discretion whether we continue gambling or not.

For the first choice on "Quitting after a massive loss", yes, this could be problematic if we continue gambling after losing a lot of money however there are still those who continue and were able to flip their luck or destiny, however, on the other hand, you can still keep on losing.
For the second choice on "Quitting while ahead or have won a huge amount", yes, it can also be a good choice if we can stop gambling and try to enjoy our winnings, especially huge amounts and if possible, try to invest on other things that we can focus on.
Lastly, for the last choice of "Quitting because your wife told you so", I guess it's on own discretion whether or not we should listen. However, if you think that the reason that your wife wants you to stop of the negative things it affects both of your life and I suggest you listen.
502  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: October 31, 2022, 10:22:09 AM
But i don`t think that this is right idea to stop gambling if it is the only reason. Of course it depends on how you gamble. If you often lose big sums it can be a nice decision to to stop gambling permanently, but if you get profit regularly or just gamble for fun - you can remove the main part of the prize and gamble as usual.
Don't worry, OP did not really mean it when he said that he'll quit gambling based on the later thread he started at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5418876.0. He is still continuing his gambling activities and looks like he is on a winning streak.

Anyways, it actually depends on you whether or not it is best to continue gambling or not. However, if it is already affecting your life and hindering things that you do such as being financially broke, then it is best to stop. Stopping gambling if you have won big can also be a good thing if you know how to manage it.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I play roullete in colombia and won some money today on: October 31, 2022, 09:52:04 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5418798.0 What happened to you quitting? It hasn't even been a week yet since you said you were quitting. Guess I was right and you need the attention.

respect me . I dont need the attention.

Did yahoo disrespect you in any way or you just felt disrespected by what he's said about you quitting? From our perspective, you disrespected your decision of quitting gambling after your huge win in your previous post.

It looks like what yahoo said is true and you're just here asking for attention.

Anyways, Congratulations on your winnings!
504  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 30, 2022, 07:15:42 PM
Having expenses for vacations or allocating some money when travelling is important so that we don't go out of the vacation plans that we have made. And if you want to visit the casino, you have to prepare more money to use for gambling so it doesn't interfere with your holiday activities, and of course, the money you use to gamble should not be excessive. While on vacation, we must use our time as efficiently as possible so that we can really enjoy our vacation instead of spending time gambling. We can also play gambling again after we get home so it won't interfere with other things.

There are some people who just travel with a designated budget only which is at some point they can do get visit different gambling casinos that existed in that place but if that is you can visit only and not take a play because it is for entertainment at the same time and you got rarely went to these kind of expensive place so why not take this as a tour right, but if you have a budget of course you can experience playing gambling in to different places which is good to have as memories.
Maybe it can provoke them to try gambling once or twice because the experience and excitement will be different when playing online gambling. And they should have good self-control so that they don't spend too much money playing gambling. They must remember that their goal is to take a vacation and not gamble, which could cost them more money. Not to mention if they experience a loss and want to recover from their previous losses because it will make them take more money to recover their losses. That is why you need to allocate an amount of money that you will use for gambling so that it will not interfere with the allocation of money for other things while you are on vacation.
Allocating budget for gambling purposes is one of the key thing that you should do if you are planning to visit a gambling establishments during your vacation as casino are much more tempting and hard to control especially during vacation since one of your purpose is to have fun. I haven't visited any known casino outside my country however I've to some local casino and I can say that it's fun and somehow much more addictive than online gambling especially if with your friends.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 30, 2022, 06:48:53 PM
I really don't see any reason to roll the dice anymore rather than walk away with half of the price.
Remember it's a give away, and 0.05btc is a nice take home and there is no way I personally will continue rolling when no winner is assured.
One weakness people have in gambling is not knowing ones limit and not knowing when to stop becauee of greed which in most cases ends up In total silent regrets.
So I personally will split and walm away with half of it.
That's what we might think because as casual gamblers, that would be a very large amount of BTC, especially if we could sell it at a high price. It's rare for people to get that much BTC; if there is, it's probably because they're playing for big money or a whale. So it's better if we just accept the money and don't need to reroll again because there is no guarantee that we can get more than before. This is what makes us have to know that if we have got that amount of money, we must immediately stop and leave gambling.
That would be the most neutral answer which is to split the prize rather than keep re-rolling especially for us where we don't really know the terms of the giveaway. But if one of terms is which closest number rolled will be the winner of the whole amount then re-rolling would be the most logical thing to do. If you try and re-roll you'll have 70% chance of winning the whole amount 10% chance for split and 20% chance for nothing.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 30, 2022, 06:14:10 PM
~snip~
That should be a concern because the smart way that players say is actually just a subtle word for cheating the system.
Actually, for now, not many casinos also include faucets, so there is a lot of abuse of faucets, now more casinos offer bonuses that can still be tricked by players.

Yeah, and that's the thing. Anything nice provided by any company can in theory be abused.

It's fine if the abusers get banned, it's the only way to keep the nice thing being delivered to the vast majority of users.

Also, someone's not smart for abusing a system. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.
In most cases, yes, almost all bonuses provided by the casino to treat their users or gamblers can be abused. However, casinos most like know it already and have set up to detect abusers. Also, some of them set up restrictions and requirements to receive these bonuses.

It's great to have the moral high ground and avoided finding loopholes to these bonuses offered. But for these abusers, it might actually be smart for them to abuse those bonuses as most of them was able to abuse the system before getting caught.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: October 30, 2022, 05:47:09 PM
Ideally, gambling houses should not disclose the identity of the person who won big without first asking him. Unfortunately, this is not respected always.

Those gamblers who do not want their information to be public, but the gambling houses make their names public, can go to the court of law as this is a serious offense. Gamblers can claim damages to the gambling site on this basis. Do you think gamblers should take the help of courts in this case ?
There are certain rules or ToS of each casinos and some of it might also include disclose information such as the name of the winner especially on grand prizes. However, most of the time the gambler can talk it through with the casino and request it to be concealed.

About filing these kind of cases to court, you must have substantial evidence that they, the casino, are violating your rights or the terms they've set. If in any case, that disclosing information of the winners are include on the ToS, and you still decided to file a case about it, you might still get a chance to win however no damages will be paid rather they'll just conceal your identity as they have not violated anything.
508  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: October 30, 2022, 05:19:00 PM

509  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: October 30, 2022, 04:54:39 PM
TANONG KO LANG PO IF EVER NA BABALIK AKO TO JOIN BOUNTIES WORTH IT PA PO BA?

IF YES MAY TATANGGAP PO BA SAKIN KAHIT NA MAY NEGATIVE TRUST AKO IN ANY BOUNTIES.

From nasalanta ng super bagyo, minalas, nascam at iba pa.

510  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 30, 2022, 04:14:27 PM
I've seen people buying freebitcoin accounts without captcha
correct me if i'm wrong, now just deposit a few bitcoins each free roll won't ask for a captcha, actually don't have to buy an account because maybe it's not very safe too especially sometimes people who use bots with multi accounts also can't do automatic rolls through bots because freebitcoin only allows 1 IP for 1 account to do free rolls

Don't know why people think evil and try to misuse the platform by bots or multi accounts? Can't they play keeping themselves within the rule and regulations of the site???

Whoever is using VPN's, multi accounts and bots, they are bound to be get punished and sooner or later their account will get ban. This is also unfair with those who does not break the rules.

Because it will be beneficial on them if they will not be caught on the abuse that they are doing. I can't even imagine how many users at FB has a few multi account especially that they still offer a faucet for btc or the free roll.

Usually, these users are easily caught by the casino however they seldomly banned them until necessary such as when they are trying to withdraw or have abused the system too much.
511  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake - The Official UFC Sponsor - Doesn't accept bets on the UFC on: October 30, 2022, 03:44:38 PM
But in a case where you are the only one who experienced this, then it simply means you have some limits on your account.

It happens now with all other UFC bets, $1000 is not accepted at all, even on events that are far away....
Yes, the account is limited for winning too many UFC bets.

That's probably the reason why your account has been set to a limit by stake. It's pretty common for casinos to set limit to users who usually wins on certain games, on your case UFC games.

The error message you've receive is self-explanatory and I suggest that you contact support about the limit set on your account as they are only people who can help you and explain more about limit set.
512  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: October 30, 2022, 03:03:17 PM
I decided to bet big today on allen orland made around 1500 usd in profit today. On a  fight.

Knew for sure he is gonna win.

Last week i made 9000 dollar in accideny. I. Hugd profit decide to quit gambling until 2023.

Here proof that im real man and i won:

https://www.loom.com/share/d2ca1feee9c44509a7b12ecfad85936b

First, congratulation on your win it sure is a reason to celebrate and brag about it, but I doubt you are going to quit, the temptation to continue playing or bet in the future like a week or month from now is very tempting, you will always remember your winning and once you see a fight or a game that you think will give you a chance to win I'm sure you're going to go for it, never say never I read and heard it a thousand times before.
That's what will probably happen to OP, it's highly likely that he will continue gambling another time and will stop for a moment to enjoy his winnings. He might lay low rather than stop as he already knows the feeling of winning such a huge amount. I also said to myself that I will stop gambling as I've been on a winning streak before yet I'm still here.

Anyways, still congratulations are in order, and I hope that you'll be an exemption to us gamblers and will be able to stop after winning that. There are only a few percent of gamblers who are able to commit to their decision on quitting gambling.
513  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: October 29, 2022, 07:39:40 PM

Useless event ampotek! Tinignan ko yung event nila for Halloween tapos napakapanget at hindi worth it.
Meron silang 3 event for Halloween tapos lahat hindi worth it salihan.

https://mydefipet.medium.com/halloween-town-a10b3481139f
Quote
Attention:
To be on the Lucky Draw list, you must both check-in for 7 days and buy at least one V2 egg during this mini-game.

If you miss check-in for 1 day, you will not only lose the right to participate in this game but also be canceled the in-game resource of the following check-in days
514  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: October 29, 2022, 07:10:03 PM
Ganyan naman talaga dapat mindset natin when it comes to investing sa crypto o ano mang bagay.

Omsim!

In short, kalimutan mo na agad. Kung posible, wag mo na tignan ulit para kahit papano kung hindi ka na maapektuhan kung tumaas o bumaba man after mo ibenta.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler who betrayed his friend's trust on: October 29, 2022, 06:48:34 PM
OP is probably making peace with this situation by posting this stuff online, it's probably a relief when you share your burden with others. People of action wouldn't waste time on that... that's for sure!
Based from the story the OP provided, it looks like he is Kelvin and just wanted to vent out here on the forum for what he did to his friend. He mentioned "me" referring that he is Kelvin on the story. I think is having a hard time fighting his conscience to what he did.
Kelvin secretly withdrew the money and ran away to another state where he feels Charles wouldn't find me,

A friend should never be treated that way, no matter how much money is at stake. You lose a little bit of your faith on humanity when friends turn their backs on you. Money shouldn’t be the most important thing in your life; it should be secondary to love and friendship. But really, after something like this, you can only move on and try to avoid making the same mistakes. You can't let people get under your skin and hurt you.
I don't really think that they are really that kind of friend as they only share a common interest on gambling, based from my understanding. Also, you don't know how people really react with huge amount of money not only to their friends, but rather to their loves one.

Anyways, Charles can try to find justice by putting this on court as long as he can provide proof about the shared funds they use to gamble.
516  Economy / Gambling / Re: trustdice - scam, very bad site. on: October 29, 2022, 04:59:18 PM
<snip>
I love that you shared this kind of information to us. It just really resolves this kind of accusation. Why can't other casino do the same thing?

Thank you for your recognition! We attach great importance to transparent and meaningful communication with players and the crypto community at large, therefore we value Bitcointalk a lot and consider it a reliable channel for such effort.

Best,
TrustDice Team

You and trustdice deserve any recognition in regard to this accusation made by the OP on your gambling platform. It also looks like the OP already knows his mistake and the bonus abuse that he did and thought that he'll get away with it by posting on the forum. After your response on this thread confirming the bonus abuse and duplicate, the OP has not responded ever since and has not been online afterward which only means that he got caught and has abandoned his accusation.

Anyways, Thanks for clarifying the case and being transparent to the forum.
517  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 29, 2022, 01:28:20 PM
If I remember correctly, parang way back 2017 or 2018 meron na nyan dyan

so possibly tinanggal lang nila?
Parang display lang na option for cash in / cash out kasi hindi naman accessible kahit nung 2016 pa.
Way back 2016 pa pala meron nyan sa coins.ph.

518  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE SCAMMED $100K AND NOT REPLYING EMAILS FOR 6 MONTHS on: October 28, 2022, 08:19:22 PM
When a player stated a case and asked to gain sympathy or support from the community, it is a must to provide detailed evidence and proof that he is innocent.  It is easy to play the victim and accused the casino of stealing his fund when in reality he is actually the one exploiting the casino.  We had seen this kind of case many times here.  In this case, it isn't the gambling platform that needed sympathy or support but the player who feels he is wronged. So definitely the player must provide valid proof that he is actually wronged by the casino.
There are too many cases like that, they play as the victim but when assessed by the casino from their accounts. They have found to be the ones violating the rules of that casino they're complaining about.

Also, it's easy to say that they've been robbed or scammed where in fact that they've lost. And if there's a huge partnership that allowed them to advertise, they're criticizing it as if the casino don't have the fund to put on such ads deals.
Most of the cases being posted on the forum are more likely to be false or just rants to try and ruin the casino's reputation which is unlikely to happen due to lack of evidence.

However on this instance, the OP already admitted that he had falsified his documents multiple times which is already a violation against the casino's ToS. On top of that, there are suspicious activities made on his account which are the match fixing which is a criminal offense. The casino already provided brief explanation about the match fixing allegations whereas the OP has connections and transaction to a match fixer.

There was no mentioned that the OP denied the said connection to a match fixer but only to the match fixing. He also doesn't have any evidence or proof against the allegations on his account.

Anyways, I don't think that this thread should be active anymore as the OP has not posted anything about this case.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 28, 2022, 06:35:07 PM
Those who want to invest, of course, will not want it to remain constant. Even if it is falling, the fact that it is moving keeps the market energetic and there is a constant flow of money in the market. As the value of Bitcoin increases, the number of people who want to invest will also increase. Therefore, more money will be involved in the market. Obviously, the constant value of bitcoin will not make anyone happy.
I don't actually think that Bitcoin's price will remain constant even if we have reached or mined all of it but rather we can see a less volatile market on bitcoin the closer we reached the maximum amount. If you think about it, it will not be bad on the market as there will be a constant flow as there is still volatility on the price and it will be good for it's main purpose as a mean of medium for peer to peer transaction.

As of now, most of us are more concern on how much volatility the price of bitcoin is as we often look at bitcoin as an investment opportunity.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you Consider the Price of Bitcoin to be More Important than its Purpose? on: October 28, 2022, 06:23:12 PM
No, the purpose of Bitcoin is for certain far more important than its price. That's for sure. After all, the price of Bitcoin is just a reaction to how Bitcoin is particularly designed. Of course, Bitcoin's design is such that it serves its purpose.

However, I'd be a complete hypocrite if I don't admit that Bitcoin's price is attracting me more than its being a peer-to-peer currency. If Bitcoin had a stable price, I'm not sure if I would want to accumulate a lot of it. At the end of the day, that it is a peer-to-peer currency is yet to be really felt locally.
Absolutely true, many people may have seen Bitcoin as an investment opportunity which is why most of us look and check more on the price rather than it's purpose.

However, It's purpose is what's more important as it is also the main reason as to why Bitcoin has its own value right now. Bitcoin may have not been the first crypto created but it's design, purpose and security is the reason why it's the most valuable crypto on the market.
