321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 10, 2022, 11:55:14 PM
A good one? Millions of dollars at least. The world is filled with people who think they can start a casino for 10 thousand dollars, and it is true that it can be made for that much money but then you would neither have any money left for in case someone wins big, and you wouldn't have any left for marketing as well.

To be at the levels of stake, sportsbet.io, roobet, rollbit, and many alike at the top of the crypto gambling world, then you really need at least a million dollars, so that you could start at that level, offer big rewards, and do great marketing as well. Just last year, Stake gave Everton 10 million a year for jersey sponsorship, imagine that.
Actually, Even if the OP has that kind of money and/or has a great team working for his casino, he will still have a huge struggle to be able to compete with these huge casinos out there. These great casinos have been running for a long time and have already built their reputation throughout the online crypto-gambling industry.

However, if the OP has only limited funds such as 100 thousand dollars. I believe it's already enough to run a gambling platform but will limited bets and games or they can just focus on one game such as Dice or Slot. Also, if he will be able to provide a unique experience to it's gamblers, I guess in the long run they could add more games and remove limits.
322  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 24 hours challenge bitcoin use only sa boracay. on: December 10, 2022, 10:38:05 PM
(https://twitter.com/BitcoinIslandPH/status/1597567694219669504)
Namamangha ako sa marketing strategy nila at pati mga major establishments ay natanggap na rin ng payment through crypto using pouch. Ni-check ko yung tweet na yan, so most likely kayang kaya mong magsurvive sa Boracay kung wala kang cash at crypto lang dahil from accommodation to foods kayang kaya mo magbayad through crypto.
Dahil during nung time ni Axie sobrang dami yung na-involve sa crypto.

323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport Event Can Increase Our Money By Placing A Bet on: December 10, 2022, 10:30:39 PM
It did affect the number and amount of bets I've made compared to my previous normal bets on other sports. Mainly because I've been influenced by my colleagues, friends, and families, most of us are currently excited about watching the World Cup and they were recently introduced to online gambling by one of my family members and we are now making our individual bets depending on what we have discussed and decided to bet on. Mostly, we bet on just one country but some of us disagree and bet on the latter team.

To be honest, it's more on about having fun than getting money right now as we all now are checking and watching the matches. But still, if ever some of us will be addicted or have lost some, we still managed each other to avoid overspending or overbetting.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 10, 2022, 10:22:42 PM
ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?  Any other thoughts?
I tried them already but it says that it is unable to provide sports prediction and only assist in providing general assist with general knowledge. May be they might add them later by collecting all the match statistics and then we can make an assumption on how the match might go, but it wont be never accurate as there are many factors in place for every match including the injury list and the current form.
Exactly, AI cannot provide any accurate assumptions on who's to win in any sports game whether they have all the previous matches data. Previous matches cannot predict what will happen in the latest matches as several factors changes in every match such as strategies, player's way of thinking and decision, and many more which could mess up the calculation to provide an assumption or probability of winning. At best, they can provide an assumption which is too risky to bet on or probably almost the same of what the odd providers are giving.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 10, 2022, 09:06:43 PM
On the hand, there are online casinos out there that do not provide this kind of means or facility for their users, which means their users don't know or interact with each other, such a casino can easily scam a user and other users of that same casino won't know about it because there is no means or place for the scam victim(s) to alert other users of that casino to be aware of leave the casino before they fall victim too.
I tend to avoid these websites, not only because I fear they are scam casinos, but also because I suspect they are phishing websites which can attempt to steal your personal informations, accounts or put virus on your device. It's easy to spot these services: you search on google and there are only reviews websites talking about them. The informations disponible are scarce as are the reviews given by users. From the few reviews, some will say these casinos are great (probably employees of the casino posting as users), while others will say they are complete and blatant scams. When you see there is a big imbalance between reviews, without any consistent replies from the casino official support itself, stay away.
I don't think that there are any relations between gambling platforms that don't have a community like a thread here on the forum to phishing websites. Phishing websites are one way for scammers to scam people with their account and information by copying legitimate websites but differ in the website links. In short, all websites can have a phishing website and it depends on the scammer itself whether what website they'll copy.

When it comes to lack of community of some gambling platforms, they can still be trusted as there are various review sites out there that provides definite reviews whether they are trustworthy or not. Also, even if the casino won't start a community, the users or gamblers can make it on their own on various platforms such as discord and bitcointalk. For me, lack of community doesn't really decide whether the casino is good or not but it's a good to have.
326  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance Philippines on: December 10, 2022, 07:37:47 PM
Been using Binance P2P a lot and so far wala pa naman ako na encounter na ganyang modus or scam bukod sa napakatagal na waiting time at unresponsive buyer ng USDT. What I do is that

1. make sure na updated palagi yung Gcash or any mobile banking application na gagamitin when receiving funds.
2. Check for reviews na may more than 10-15k feedback at dapat significant yung difference ng negative reviews sa positive.
3. Check for familiar names lalo kapag may ads yung ka-transaction mo from before. Sometimes it does help na magiging okay yung transaction kapag familiar ka na.
4. Verify mo sa app if na-receive mo talaga yung exact funds mo. Huwag aasa sa text message kasi as far as I know, nag update na yung Gcash in terms of bank transfer notifcations[1].

[1] https://www.globe.com.ph/about-us/newsroom/consumer/gcash-shifts-from-text-notifications.html

327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 09, 2022, 11:58:03 PM
I don't think that basing and relying your bet on artificial intelligence would be a great decision to do especially on sports games as most of it depends on each individual player that will be playing the game and there's no AI available right now that can judge and analyze these things. Also, the random possibility that an AI would need to solve to define a definite outcome for these games would be too random and complicated. They will need to assess and observe each player to have data enough to make an assumption. However, there's still a possibility in the near future that AI can guess and answer most of the questions and possibility that may happen in the future.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: December 09, 2022, 11:50:34 PM
What happens is that some people are only interested in gambling for fun and trying to chase bonuses like free spins seems to them to be another form of work, which is precisely what they are trying to avoid.

So for those people it does not make too much sense to try to pursue free spins, but for those which are trying to reduce their costs as much as possible and the ones that are interested in becoming profitable the bonuses they can receive are critical to achieve their goals.

Well we all know that casinos do not do things to regulate money, the money of a casino is earned, even knowing that they will always have the advantage, it is very difficult to do the opposite, however, I have seen many people who always enter with free spins looking for a lot of luck for them to be able to enjoy, but that is something very difficult, rather I think there is much more opportunity to play with our own funds "without the need for bonuses" and play without fear and with great restraint, making an idea that we no longer have that money that we are betting, it is the best strategy because if it is lost, it is assumed and that's it, but if it is won, I am sure it will be a lot!
Lol, most gambling platform whether they are online or offline does regulate the funds coming in and out as those are what they're focused on, earning money. Casinos will always have an edge in any game as the house always win when it comes to gambling and that's how they earn money whenever gamblers get greedy.  Those bonuses that they offer are just bait to make these gamblers bet more especially when they've set a requirement to be eligible for these bonuses. Still, the gambling platform's bonuses are also good for gamblers since they can earn free money here and some can even win huge amounts of money even if it's a rare circumstance.
329  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Discussion] Post Bursting sa Forum on: December 09, 2022, 05:03:34 PM
Basically, para sa akin yung time interval yung pinaka pasok na definition ng post bursting, regardless kung on point or out of topic yung reply mo.
Mahalagang bagay din ito para sa mga projects or company na nag iimplement ng signature campaign dito sa forum, para naman ma distribute ng participant yung post all throughout the day para sa exposure ng iyong advertised signature.
Compared kung yung 5 post minimum requirements mo per day ay na e popost mo lang in just 1 hr. matatabunan yun lahat ng replies mo within the day -so ang resulta hindi na magiging visible yung signature mo.
I think valid naman kung ganun yung mangyayari na yung participant or member ay magpopost within 1 hr lang as long as may sense or may contribution sa topic yung reply. Also, about naman sa contribution at exposure, same thing pa rin naman unless kung magrereply lang sila sa iisang topic dahil pwede i-spread ni user yung post nya throughout the forum while contributing sa topics.
330  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: December 08, 2022, 11:59:27 PM
Paanong hindi naging yung V1 pets? I mean, oo, nakakapagbreed at napapalevel up mo yung pets mo pero other than that wala na silang purpose especially ngayon dahil sa pagrelease nila ng V2 pets dahil pumanget yung value ng V1. The game itself, yung nagfail dahil after ng World Boss, walang way para gamiting  yung mga pets mo mapaV1 or V2 pets.
There is no reason para magrelease sila ng V2 pet except to milk the market para magkapera ang mga developer.
331  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance Philippines on: December 07, 2022, 11:37:01 PM
Just today I made a transaction on p2p using GCASH to receive my proceeds.

At as far as I know system generated yung text notification ng gcash at automatic yung pag labas nito sa balance mo once nag notify na sila thru text.

Good to know rin na i-check mo yung successful rate ng ka-transact mo dahil dun mo makikita kung gaano sila katrusted at iwasan yung mga too good to be true na price dahil usually scammer yun.
332  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: December 07, 2022, 11:29:41 PM
As far as I know kasi ok naman ang V1 pets, nakakapagbreed naman at napapalevel up. Isa lang talaga ang pinopoint out ng pagrelease nila ng V2 pets and that is to get more money.
Paanong hindi naging yung V1 pets? I mean, oo, nakakapagbreed at napapalevel up mo yung pets mo pero other than that wala na silang purpose especially ngayon dahil sa pagrelease nila ng V2 pets dahil pumanget yung value ng V1. The game itself, yung nagfail dahil after ng World Boss, walang way para gamiting  yung mga pets mo mapaV1 or V2 pets.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is pay to earn considered gambling? on: December 05, 2022, 11:56:41 PM
I have been always curious about making money from games i love to play, since i was a little kid playing GTA games while there was no such live casinos and online betting i had this idea of what if there is a possibility of making money from playing.
We all know poker doesn’t require to be lucky as much as it requires you to be skilled to win, and even though we poker is still considered as gambling. I wish to know if these games such as FPS which you can put for example in a room of 10 players everyone puts 5 dollars and the winner takes the whole 50 dollars, Are considered as gambling.
And also if there’s any known and trusted website or casino that allows such games. I find them better than gambling and lucky games
Based on your question and the example given, I don't think that it's about being a pay-to-earn or play-to-earn type of game but mostly gambling itself. Any games that include bets to play on among a number of players whereas the winner will take all bets and keep it for himself. That is already gambling even if it's a skill-based game regardless of its kind of game even if it is an FPS, MMORPG, or whatever it is. As long it involves a bet, the winner will take it all is considered as gambling.

Pay-to-Earn is more like about making your character stronger to be able to earn more and get better and the same goes for a play-to-earn type of game where the user grinds from time to time to be stronger and earn more. This is more likely an investment than gambling.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos? on: December 05, 2022, 11:18:05 PM
I don't really see any tokens or coins that have great compatibility with gambling platforms as most cryptocurrencies are already great especially major tokens on casinos. As far as I know, FUN tokens were not originally made by Freebitco.in casino but rather they bought it as their own. For me, these kinds of tokens aren't really good investment coins like other coins out there, but they hold great value to gamblers of Freebitco.in as it offers bonuses and other great deals for gamblers such as additional spins.

Other tokens like BFG and OWL which are owned by their respective gambling platforms don't have a great market for investment purposes but rather a great opportunity for gamblers of these casinos. Hopefully, other great casinos will also make their own token like Stake.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 05, 2022, 11:10:06 PM
They could have an announcement thread here but if they kept ignoring the accusations and the accusations are valid that makes them a casino to avoid, and if they are going to address issues about the complaints it should be satisfactorily whoever side it will be, there are a lot of casinos that are guilty of manipulating their investigations when presenting to the community, the gambling community is wise enough to avoid these kinds of casinos.
Users needs to be wise enough to understand the right platform. There is a big list of cryptocurrency accepted gambling sites that don't have announcement thread on our forum. However they've gained the trust of users which is the success of the platform.

We've got a big list of trusted platforms, so it isn't a hard task to stay away from the platforms that have got bad reputation.
Exactly, it is on our own volition to check whether the gambling platform we are betting and playing on is a trusted one. Some casinos will have a massive range of community, but it doesn't exactly mean that they won't scam people out of their money. Trust and services should also be given as those are what makes a casino reputable.

As of now, the number of gambling platforms keeps on rising as days go by and we must be able to investigate on ourselves especially newer gambling platforms as they haven't built up their trust network on its community.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 04, 2022, 06:21:49 PM
All animals have the right to life. It's not right to use them in deadly fights. It is unacceptable even to do it in ancient times. It is very sad to hear about such incidents in modern times. Anyone can bet with modern technological methods instead of harming animals. Because today, almost everyone has a smartphone in their pocket. And almost everyone has access to the Internet. It saddens me to hear such incidents in the modern age. Such a gamble would never be fun for me. I never took such a gamble. And I would never gamble like that. I would never go to a casino that organizes such a gamble. I have to admit that I am disappointed that such a gamble is considered normal.
Unfortunately, the statement "All animals have the right to life." isn't true. These chickens or cock will die either way even if they will not be used on these fights. They will serve as a meal for almost everyone, the same goes to most animals that are used for consumption.

What's wrong with cock fights are the unnecessary violence which will cause these animals to be hurt. That's also what most animal activist fight for since these animals can feel pain unlike other animals that don't. If they should be killed, it should be humane and painless or quick.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: under-age gamblers on: December 04, 2022, 06:14:52 PM
And am just curious if this won't affect the person in times to come
I visit land casinos quite often, but i have never seen minors allowed in to visit, let alone want to place a bet, we live in a country where the rules for land casinos are really strict, as far as I know each country has special rules for visitors who want to bet.

I don't know, which country do you live in, what is clear is that children 14-15 years are not a good solution for them, it will have a bad impact on them now and in the future, the risk is bigger than what is seen at this time.

Sometimes, the minors you've seen, they visit the casino, actually it's not their fault, the casinos are blamed for letting them gamble, I think if such a case happens, my forecast is less adult visitors there, for that they allow their goal to get profits and assets regardless of the risks and effects that occur in the future because they allow minors.
This often vary country to country. Same goes on my country, you will rarely see minors on physical casinos however there are some casinos which allows minors on the premises as long as they are accompanied by an adult, and they cannot play any table or games, in short, they can only observe and watch games, but they cannot gamble.

If in any case, these minors have been allowed to gamble, then only the casino are at fault as they are the one who should not allow them to play.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Must it be the last game? on: December 04, 2022, 04:42:25 PM
Yes, instead of losing our chance to cash in on the win, we should use the opportunities we have to get the money. We can place other bets that might give us a bigger win than before. Sometimes I do it too, especially when I have to leave home and can't see the match to the end or when my analysis doesn't go well so I have to press the cashout button instead of losing my money if the match goes differently than before. If we often analyze each team, it will hone our feelings. Our feelings will tell us what we should do if something goes wrong. But greed is often stronger than feeling and makes us experience defeat.

I think we cannot avoid the scenario OP presented.  I believe @OP is confident that the last match will win so he decided to continue his wagering and lost.  If he tried to cash out before that and failed to because there is no option, then it is @OPs fault for not checking if there is a cashout option before the parlay bet ended.  Regardless, the result would go either way in which OP can feel great joy or the result OP feel frustrated.  Sadly it is the latter.  So I think OP just needs to move on and forget about all the frustration.  And hopefully, you win huge on your next parlay bet.
Some casinos provide the option to take advantage even if the game is not over. And if we don't take that chance, especially if we have doubts about the team we chose because their performance wasn't what we expected and we chose to continue, we might all lose. This is where we must be wise in watching the match and know when to get out before everything ends in defeat. But if the performance of the team we choose is improving, it may be okay if we continue to let our bets go. If we have felt that defeat, we have to stop for a moment to forget that defeat.
That's the thing, cashing out while the game is still on isn't always an option as some casinos only let the user cash out their bets after a game ends and not while the game is already ongoing. But if we have that option, we should be able to maximize its usage since it can be a huge advantage to us if we feel we are losing the game. Also, multi bet is quite risky so must be able to cash out as soon as we're ahead and not wait to finish all the bets we made unless we think it's a sure win.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino on: December 04, 2022, 04:22:35 PM
You should have reveal the names of the sites so we can look for it and give you good advices. Certainly, you’re in a wrong casino if you think you are not even winning just once. I may think you’re unlucky but that not most of the case, as there are really scam casinos out there so we have to research first on the site before we start to gamble. In your case, now that you think maybe it’s another scam casino, then stay away from that site and look for other gambling platforms here in the gambling section as they are more reputable compared to your previous casinos.
Perhaps you should try reading the replies by the OP as he already mentioned the gambling platform that he played on which is Metaspin which is a fairly new gambling and have a thread on the forum.

OP should try and contact the website support and reply on their thread here on the forum. Also, he can try and reach out to the campaign manager since Metaspins has a running signature campaign on the forum, this might not help much as it is not the campaign manager's duty, but he can relay the issue on his connection to the platform.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Types Of Online Casinos To Avoid.. on: December 04, 2022, 03:45:09 PM
From my observations, I think online casinos without online presence or community of users are likely to scam any user and get away with it easily, and it doesn't matter if they have a high trust rating, this is because when they refuse to process your withdrawal and the customer support is not responding or not helping, the user in reality have no place to complain that will force the casino to pay him of lose a great number of their users if not all...
I think this only applies to new gambling platforms, as they tend to start with a high trust rating on most review sites which they've likely paid in the first place. However, even if they have a great community on the forum, some of them tend to scam people later on. It's best to check everything first on new gambling platforms before even gambling there.

However, old casinos that have great reputations on different and legitimate review sites can be trusted even if they don't have a community here on the forum. Usually, review sites also factor in customer service and how responsive they are. If in any case, customer service won't be able to provide a general answer on your query, you can try and contact them via email so someone higher can answer it for you.
