541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 23, 2022, 03:42:59 PM
Personal details about lottery winners or huge amount winners are usually not disclose to the public especially on online crypto gambling platforms. They'll likely provide the user ID or username instead as that will not provide any personal information about the winner. However, it is not the same to physical lottery and casinos.

It varies depending on the location if they are allowed to disclose such information to the public on physical lottery and casinos. However, if in any instances the winner would like to conceal their identity they are free to request it to the institution. If I am correct, they have the right to conceal their personal information if they don't want these institutions to publicize their name especially that it could cause harm or be a target of harm.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 23, 2022, 02:02:39 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

You can't find a reputable KYC free casino nowadays. There are some new casinos that offers "no kyc requirement" as part of their promotion but you should be wary of those and double check it on their ToS  if they will not really ask for it. However if you are able to find one, you should be suspicious since there is a high chance that they will scam you. KYC policy is a norm now on gambling websites since they are becoming more regulated and I understand why they need to implement it since there are criminals that can use their platform for illegal activities.
Fortunately, there are still some gambling platforms that are reputable and known on the forum that doesn't require KYC to their users unless they have to. I've seen and have been using some gambling platform for a long time that doesn't requires me to do KYC. However, if you will try to look on their platform's ToS, you'll see that they do in fact KYC to some users if they only detected that user is violating their terms and services.

As for new gambling platform, I suggest to avoid those especially those that are suspicious and offers crazy bonuses.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much was your last big win? on: October 23, 2022, 01:56:01 PM
What was your last big hit? I would like to know  Cool
Not much compared to the amount of other players out here but it was worth around 40-50USD but it was quite the amount for me especially as I only gamble around 50-70USD per week. I won by playing on a dice game and I was trying out a strategy that I found online which only works one time and I lose almost the same amount the next day doing the same thing.

Anyways, Nice win with that kind of multiplier, I would love to know about the bet you did on that one.
544  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 23, 2022, 01:11:10 PM

If I remember correctly, parang way back 2017 or 2018 meron na nyan dyan so possibly tinanggal lang nila?

Pero sana during 2020 nagrelease ulit sila since maraming online transaction ang umusbong nung mga panahong to.
545  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best thing to do if this happens on: October 23, 2022, 12:59:36 PM
To me first I must checked on their compliance to know if I m able to make withdrawal or not, then will also check their withdrawal limits to know how much I could withdraw per day and weeks or even months then followed by kyc if all this are put in places are you still don't allowed to withdraw, I will contact their customer support via live chat, also in the forum to know if their customer representative will get a feedback to me. If all these are done and yet nothing has been taken places I have no option to declare them scammer on the accusations sections.
That's what you should do before playing gambling so you won't break the rules they wrote. Meanwhile, if you've got a big win and just checked their rules, I guess you made a mistake because you didn't check it beforehand before you signed up. The thing that casinos usually ask of you before allowing or continuing the withdrawal process is to ask you to do KYC and only then will they continue the process. And indeed, you can ask customer support via live chat to find out how to solve your case. And you can also create a thread on their ANN to ask about your case so that they can help to resolve it.
Based from how the OP asked the question, it looks like he knew the casino or gambling platform they are playing on as he mentioned that it is a mid to high rated gambling platform. It also looks like that the OP only encountered an issue after hitting a huge win which probably means that he was already playing and was able to withdraw with normal winnings.

Best first suggestion would be is to contact support to know more about the incident and if they did not provide any response, that's where you should follow through on other means of communication such as the forum.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 22, 2022, 02:56:28 PM
KYC verification is very important to crypto gambling sites because their operations depend on it to a certain extent. They are bound to follow the rules which they agree with when they registered and secured their license.

I don't think the same crypto gambling sites would implement KYC if they're not compelled by regulations. While they comply, they're probably hesitant. After all, it is quite ironic for them to ask for personal information when they're involved in crypto.

Anyway, please refer to this very helpful thread by Mahdirakib as regards verification requirements among crypto gambling platforms.
Most crypto gambling casinos out here are really hesitant on asking KYC verification to each and every users they have and some of them have already expressed it on the forum. If I am correct, they rather not proceed with the KYC requirements if they aren't only required to do so for regulations purposes.

This is also why most casino that we visit doesn't require users for KYC verification unless they are required to do so such as possible violation on the platforms. We can also check that thread to know more on when casino are requiring their users to do KYC.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 22, 2022, 01:30:17 PM
Well, it’s not a big issue for us who got used to it, but for those who are new in gambling, they might run away and won’t gamble anymore. Because let’s accept the fact that it’s safe to stay anonymous especially if you suddenly win big amount, and of course disclosing your real identity will only give hints to scammers to attack you.
Even if we've been used to it, there will be times that we'll realize that it shouldn't be a must thing if you're just trying to register and haven't gambled yet.
Majority don't like to be KYCed because it's something that we don't trust anymore whether you like the casino and you trust them with a few from your funds.

So for me, it’s still best to gamble without KYC, but if it will be mandatory, then I will also comply with it.
If there's no other choice, I'll also comply but if there's still a choice where we can gamble without having to KYC, I'll go there and just as the others might do the same thing.
A gambler usually likes to gamble in secret. If his KYC is asked here, he may feel a bit embarrassed here. So they will try to find some other site where no KYC is required for gambling. I think KYC should be asked only when any major transaction is done. It is important to seek QC for those transactions if there are likely to be difficulties related to law switches though there are some advantages for asking KYC.
I don't think that there's a lot of gamblers that was asked for KYC have felt embarrassed. The casino or the gambling platform is the who's asking for KYC so why would the gambler be embarrassed? Most of these gamblers are either pissed, angry or even nervous as the platform are hindering them and/or limiting their actions from the platform or probably they think that they have been caught to what they are doing that is most likely against the ToS of the casino.

One of the reason as to why crypto gamblers don't want to provide their identity is because they expect themselves to be anonymous especially in the crypto industry.
548  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: October 22, 2022, 12:59:10 PM

549  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: October 22, 2022, 11:56:00 AM

May nakakaalam saan makita iyong current roadmap nila?

550  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: October 21, 2022, 06:41:42 PM

To be honest, kayang kaya naman talaga nila sundin yung roadmaps nila base na rin sa skills ng mga developers kung dun sila magfofocus pero it's more about the money than progress kaya naging trash game to.

Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?
Assuming that you have not done anything against their ToS or violated their rules, one of the best things to do is to contact support and ask for more information regarding the matter at hand. Also, while waiting for their response, I suggest that you gather supporting evidence and proof about your account such as screenshots of what happened and how you are not able to withdraw your funds.

If in any case, they won't answer your question or have not provided any clear information, I suggest that you contact them here on the forum and expose your issue to the public. This way, you'll be able to get their attention as they'll be risking their reputation if they will not be able to answer and provide any clarification on your issue.

In terms of investment, Kelangan natin ng maayos na financial management kasi baka yung bad management mo lang yung mag papalugi sayo just like what happened to me last 2018 bear market.
That's Crazyyy

Anyway, back sa crypto, almost same lang dapat na i-prioritize yung mga needs like yung mga pagkain hindi natin dapat gutumin sarili natin para makapag-accumulate ng bitcoins. If possible, try na lang natin maghanap ng ibang way para mas makaipon ng coins like maghanap ng side hustle tulad ng trabaho, bounties, airdrops at ibang way.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: recommendation for gambling platform on: October 20, 2022, 04:36:22 PM
Since this topic has been brought up multiple times already, let me just quote my previous response which will be helpful to choose which gambling platform you should be gambling.

There are various trusted and reputable casinos out here at the forum that you can try and hope to love. However, the choice mainly depends on your preference as a gambler.

I suggest that you try Primedice if you prefer dice games and Stake if you want an all around casino that you play and bet on.

Anyways, here are helpful thread about casino that you check to see which casino platform you prefer:

555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 20, 2022, 04:31:55 PM
I’m influenced by my favorite celebrities to a point. For example, I’m a big fan of Shaquille O’Neal so when I saw him launch an NFT charity project, I wanted to buy in to support him. I didn’t care about the performance of the NFT or if I made money, but you could say I was influenced to buy it because of his celebrity status. Does this mean I would invest in ShaqCoin or use a gambling platform just because Shaq promoted it? Probably not, but it would likely get me to check it out.
In short, we all could be influenced by our favorite celebrities in whatever they endorsed, advertised, or what they even do on a daily basis. However, it will be our own decision and critical thinking if we will do, copy or even buy what they are promoting. Just as you've said, If Shaq has made his own token such as "shaqcoin" or is gambling on a certain gambling platform, then it will be our own decision if we will be investing or gambling on the same platform, but we have already been influenced by them to check those out.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game Have You Won The Most From And How Much In Total? on: October 20, 2022, 04:10:47 PM
1. Do you believe there are some games that carry ill luck with them, that no matter how long and how much the player wager, he or she never win significant amount of money?
For me, the ill luck isn't from the game or the casino itself but rather it is mostly on the player himself that has ill luck. I've had a similar discussion with a friend of mine regarding this slot game where I never win anything no matter how long I play however his response was that he enjoyed playing that game as he always wins and that was where he won his highest win ever. I also had a similar story about a different gambling platform where I mostly win but my friend hates it as he mostly loses. So yeah, for me, it really depends on each user whether they are lucky on a game or casino or not.

2. Which game have you won the most amount of money from?, and how much in total did you win from that game?
Maybe you can also mention the game provider(Pragmatic, Evolution   etc.) so we can search for the game on our respective casinos and try it out.
The game where I won my highest winnings was from a dice game at Primedice. That game was pure luck as I was really gambling my whole bankroll at 2x for 5 times and luckily, I won all those 5 rolls and call it quits, withdrew my balance, and tried again the next following day. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the amount as I've forgotten how much it was.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: October 20, 2022, 03:23:41 PM
What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

The most important thing that I initially do when encountering bad or huge losses are to have a break and stop gambling for a while. This is to avoid being greedy and trying to win back my losses as we all know what will happen next if we continue gambling after losing.

One of the best and favorite things that I do to immediately move on is by being with my loved ones and/or play with my dogs as those will keep my mind off any bad experience that I encounter and also keep me from overthinking things such as "what ifs".

But still after a few days, I will still continue gambling like nothing ever happened and enjoy when I win.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Repeat History ? on: October 20, 2022, 03:12:36 PM
Highly likely, Bitcoin will repeat history and we will be encountering another bullrun soon especially since the bitcoin halving will be happening soon or by next year. This is why we are seeing a lot of discussion on this forum if users are accumulating bitcoin as it is connected to the next halving and bullrun.

It's one of the great things that we can observe in the value of bitcoin every four years where we will be experiencing a long bear market but a huge bullrun afterward and who knows how high we will be reaching for the new ATH.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 20, 2022, 02:21:05 PM
The result is, of course, that casinos don't need KYC.. until they do. gray zone.
I guess this answers' your idea of KYC on casino being troublesome.

For me, it's perfectly fair if casinos will not ask for any KYC or any documents on their gamblers early on especially if they haven't won anything big or violated any ToS of the platform. Actually, I'm much more inclined to not gamble or play to any gambling platform that will ask for KYC during registration or depositing fund on the account. I mean, what if I just want to try and play on the platform for experimental purposes, in this case, I don't want to go to any trouble of providing my information as I will just be there once.

Also, it's better to provide your personal information or go through the KYC process to limited platforms that you'll be using for a long time for my own security purpose. Anyways, I've still chosen the second option to "Leave the possibility of being asked for KYC when requesting withdrawals or after big wins." as I think it'll be worth it if you will be able to withdraw your funds for your identification and having a big win will surely keep me coming back on the casino. But still, the best choice for me would be if the casino will only request for KYC once I've reached the threshold limit for withdrawal amount.

However, in cases where casinos will be announcing or promoting themselves as a KYC-free platform but will request users to proceed with KYC during withdrawal or anytime, then I would never play on that platform as they are deceiving their users and gamblers from the start. It's better not to announce that you're a KYC-free platform than deceiving your users.
