621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: October 10, 2022, 03:33:00 PM
Get a withdrawal stuck followed by KYC request.

I feel that's something that can drive us all crazy, and is something that is becoming more common day by day. We can read on this forum section a lot of complains from users for this actions. KYC should be only for large amounts, but we have seen users getting their money stuck for low amounts like 2LTC.
One of the most annoying feelings of all, I've experienced it myself when I've been gambling at this casino like I usually do and after being on a winning streak for the first time ever, I stop gambling as I'm contented with the amount I've won before I lose it all. I've withdrawn all my winnings along with all the funds left in my account however it was strange at it took quite a while to be sent to my wallet however upon checking it once again, it asked me to do KYC for the withdrawal to go through.

It took them quite a long time a few weeks to process my withdrawal as I insisted on not going through the KYC process and even told them to close my account afterward. It took me quite a lot of emails back and forth. After that incident, I never bothered going through all that again and let other gambling platforms keep my funds. (I stop putting a considerable amount on other gambling platforms that I don't usually play on)
622  Economy / Gambling / Re: FortuneJack experience so far so good but I have a few questions on: October 10, 2022, 02:47:55 PM
This is the best thing to do. OP can ask their customer support about it. If they say that they will pay their users incase of hacking then it should be stated on their ToS to serve as assurance to its users.

I do think that gambling websites have more layers of security than crypto exchanges. So far since I learned about crypto, I haven't heard of them being hacked particularly those who we know that have a good reputation.

Actually there is no need to ask that on customer since its already stated on the ToS of every casino under the liability. Most of the casino has a special provision they don’t give any warranty on any loss of the player including when the business is close. There is a clesr note in the ToS that you are accepting all written aggrement for there services including the liability part since the user has a freedom to use or not the casino.

There is no such thing as insurance in casino because this business is on high risk. You are definitely already started gambling the moment you deposit your balance in there.
But sadly, not many customers are willing to take the time to read the ToS of each casino because they are tempted to play right away and see their luck. If the casino does not provide any guarantees to its users, users do not need to keep a balance that is too large because it will be too risky later. It's better just to deposit as much money as we can afford so that if one day the casino closes its business for some reason, they won't be too sad and sorry.

We must realize this because no business can run forever. And even though the business will not be as popular as it is now, we will be okay because the risk we accept is not too big.
If the customer or gambler wasn't able to read the ToS of the platform, then the casino is at no fault or responsible if their account gets hacked and would like to request some compensation. It's our responsibility to know the ToS of any platform we will be engaging on whether it's a gambling platform or not. If in any case, you don't want to read their ToS then I agree that one thing that you can do is ask their customer support either on live chat or email and ask for all the necessary information that you would like to know to avoid violating any rules on the ToS.

We all know the risk of using any platform as a wallet whether it's an exchange platform or a gambling platform, which is why if we our funds to be secure then we can always deposit it in our paper wallets.
623  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 10, 2022, 01:13:59 PM
Hey guys. Apart from winning let's talk about loosing  Wink
We all have bad days...
So the question is...if you loose many times in a row, what would you like at most - a cashback from what you've just lost or a bonus to go on?
If I am correct cashback or rake back is just another bonus where you receive a certain amount for the amount that you've wagered, and you receive it either on a weekly or monthly basis. If there will be another bonus other than that for gamblers who have lost their bankroll, then I'll be willing to accept any bonuses. Also, for me, if there are no abnormalities in my bets at the casino then I don't really think that I can demand anything for them and I'm actually happy that some casinos offer some bonuses for the amount you've as a token of appreciation from them.
624  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 10, 2022, 10:57:06 AM
My anonymity in regard to gambling depends on the platform itself as I don't really want to provide any personal information or KYC however, I already did on some platforms that I personally trust and have been a user for a long time. I've been with more than 15 online casinos already and I've done only 2 or 3 KYC on these gambling platforms since most of my gambling activities are from those websites.

So far, I've only encountered 3 casinos that asked me for KYC to be able to regain access to my account and I'd just let it go since I don't really trust those websites. But on most casinos that I haven't did the KYC, they just allow me to gamble until now, probably because of the amount I've gambled.
625  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the Bitcoin casinos with first deposit bonuses? on: October 10, 2022, 10:10:26 AM
The plan is to deposit $100 to one casino and complete the bonus requirements there, then go to the next casino and complete the next requirements, and continue on to other casinos.

I went to each "ANN", but complete information about first time bonuses is unclear, and I'm not sure which casinos are the most trustworthy. I need some help. Post your favorite casinos with first time bonuses, THANKS!
Great plan, however, I don't think that it will go smoothly as you think. You might encounter multiple issues such as KYC requirements as you'll be visiting multiple platforms. Also, those bonus requirements to be eligible for deposit bonuses may cost you almost all of your bankroll depending on the game you'll be playing. Lastly, you might encounter some withdrawal issues for those bonuses as most casinos won't allow you to directly withdraw them.

626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Distortion Pattern on: October 10, 2022, 09:22:08 AM
4. Gambling Distortion Pattern IV

I think the fourth pattern of play is the most dangerous, because when you have a few moments of big wins in the midst of several unsuccessful bets, the player feels motivated to place more bets believing that in the end he is managing to make up for the losses, or at least you feel more confident to continue playing because you know that at some point or another you will win again, but winnings usually cannot cover all losses.
I guess I can speak for everyone about this whenever we try to do a comeback to our gambling session after a loose streak, we often encounter a loop of pattern III whereas we deposit once again and after winning a few times we end up losing everything again. This is also where greed comes in as we try to continuously gamble even after losing a few times already in hopes of winning back our losses. And, yes, this is a dangerous way to gamble, and this is why it's important to assess our gambling activity and know when to stop whether it's on loss or not.
627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maybe Yet to be seen? on: October 10, 2022, 08:41:50 AM
1. Is it possible for NFTs to coexist with a crypto-gambling project?
2. What usefulness do you think 🤔 could make NFTs useful for crypto gamblers?
(1) Yes, it is possible just like how some casinos have already made their own tokens so why not integrate their casino with an NFT. However, it will still depend on the casino itself if they see that NFT will be profitable on their end.
(2) In case casinos will integrate or create an NFT for their platform then the use case of each NFT will depend on the casino and how they will assign each of it. One possible use case that I can think of is exclusive bonuses, promotions, and services that they can receive and enjoy for their corresponding NFTs.
628  Economy / Gambling / Re: Odds like 1xbet on: October 09, 2022, 06:54:10 PM
I think there is a huge difference between bookmakers like 1xbet's platform and other providers. 1xbet has by far the most games you can bet on, other bookmakers don't. And the limits are also significant on the 1xbet site. But most will play at 1xbit and not at 1xbet. Both platforms use software from Bet2b. You might want to Google it to see if you can find a list of all the sites that use Betb2b's software. I think there are quite a few with that platform.
Looks like you are one of the few remaining 1xbit shills who keeps advertising them in a pathetic manner in this forum. There is a huge difference between 1xbet+1xbit and other sites which is the fact that they are scammers basically.

Also, 1xbet is way bigger when compared to 1xbit which is why you clearly look dumb trying to promote 1xbit in this manner.
I thought 1xbit campaign has already ended and there is noone out here that is still promoting them, I guess I'm wrong. I suggest you to stop defending such a platform and even advising people that there are a lot of users and gamblers on the platform especially that they weren't able to fix or assess the scam accusation that has been subjected to them.

Both 1xbet and 1xbit are related to each other and both of them have scammed a lot of gamblers out here and outside the forum. Also, 1xbet is bigger compared to 1xbit. Just doing a quick google search, will prove it.
629  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: UNIONBANK WILL OFFER CRYPTO EXHANGE SOON? on: October 09, 2022, 04:02:42 PM
Most likely,  parang magiging ganto yung itsura nung trading nila lalo't in progress pa rin ito at for invite-only lang yung may access dito.

Mas ok yung ganitong option, like coinsph very effective and useful. Kase kung exchanges, marami na talaga ang kakumpetensya and since more on digital app si Unionbank, sa tingin ko sa apps den sila magfofocus. Magandang balita ito, that they are complying with the regulations of BSP, sana mas marame pang local bank ang gumawa nito para magkaroon tayo ng maraming option.
Regulation is the key, for me mas ok na may regulation and these licenses knowing na tayo naman manginginabang niyan. I just hope hindi maging kagaya ni MAYA yung Unionbank na for buy and sell lang talaga na para bang 3rd party app lang sila.
Yun lang! parang dun na mismo papunta si Unionbank when they meant crypto trading sa kanilang platform. As seen dun sa sinend ko picture, most likely parang buy and sell option lang talaga at parang wala pa yung transfer option from one crypto wallet to another.

Sa tingin ko dito sa pilipinas is wala yan kasi nga di pa naman totally na adopt ng PH itong pag gamit ng cryptocurrency instead is still the paper money padin sila, and theres a chance ito ay offer lang sa ibang bansa but again currently we are experience the bear market which is masyadong hindi ideal kasi nga what if bigla palang bumagsak yung price nung nangutang sayo edi medyo talo kapa unless they are willing to give a fair price padin ng inutang nila not into bitcoin as payment ulit.
Oo kung as of now yung pag-uusapan sobrang labo pa nito mangyari dahil probably medjo late na tayo kung sakaling mangyari to. Pero kung sakaling mag-accept nga ng crypto yung mga banks for collateral sa mga loans, I think magkakaroon ng contract in terms sa volatility ng crypto na iko-collateral para iwas lugi sa banko. Possibly manghingi ng extra collateral or inform yung uutang about the price volatility and possibility na ibenta kung bababa ito ng sobra.
For me, I think stablecoins ang mauuna na maipalaganap ang ganitong sistema kasi mas hindi risky compare kung Bitcoin or either mga altcoins ang gagamitin. For now mas mainam na maging bukas muna ang mga bangko hinggill rito until dumating sa punto na handa na sila sa ganitong uri ng sistema.
Agree, if ever may mag-accept na kahit isang bank or any financial institutions dito sa Pilipinas ng cryptocurrency sa loan as collateral, kahit mga platform like Gcash, Maya o mas maganda kung UB o Unionbank sobrang good news nito. Dahil possibly sumunod yung ibang banko sa pag-accept ng collateral as crypto.

May maganda naman talaga kung stablecoin yung collateral since hindi ka rin magwoworry about sa collateral mo in case na magfluctuate yung market since little to no difference yung pagbabago sa presyo.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 09, 2022, 03:17:50 PM
When you open loot boxes in CS or any game in which the gameplay is related to your skills and skill level, how does this negate the fact that the very opening of a loot box is gambling? If we are talking about the game and account development, then it is obvious that this is not gambling, but an ordinary game where someone plays well, and someone plays badly. But if we evaluate such things as loot boxes separately, then this is very close to gambling.
I don't know about loot boxes in CS but in MMO it depends on the rarity of the box and how much your luck is to gain the best drop you can get.
Then, the system will provide what will be the content of the loot box.
It's not a gamble, it's success base and luck base.
I'd rather compare gacha games where you pull items from wishes where it's mostly paid to be a gamble than the former.
In MMO, you didn't really pay, you are grinding which means even a free to play gamer can receive the same.
Actually, items from loot boxes and gacha games are often limited and most likely pay to win items as they have greats stats and you can't really received or get them just by continuous playing or grinding.

Anyways, Can you really call yourself a gamer if you only play gacha games or opening loot boxes on the games itself? Those are just mini-games and somehow borderline gambling (no monetary value when winning) already.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 09, 2022, 02:06:44 PM
The only thing it has an advantage of compared to others is that I at least know to a certain point the team behind it and I know how to contact them or make them notice my issue directly without any difficulty

I agree with you, but we can't forget that as new altcoin creators do on this forum, casino guys are the same thing: in the first few days they are very active on the forum, but after months they disappear from the forum and claim that they are very busy, It's always like that
I don't think that start-up altcoins are created by any trusted and reputable member of the forum and most of them are only a partner or a collaboration to these reputable members of the forum. Also, new altcoins are much prone to scamming as there are a lot of them out there and almost anyone can create a new token.
I don't think that these reputable members will also try to avoid conversation here at the forum other than if they planned to scam users from the start.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: October 09, 2022, 10:39:07 AM
In the world of gambling we must feel this especially those of us who have already made a big profit so when the next game we do it, the awareness will disappear until we can feel such a profit again, even in times of difficult situations like the one you said have exceeded our financial limits but we are still rushing to find a way to continue the game, then it is very rare for people to be able to control this situation and eventually they lose everything, bad habits are indeed difficult for us to eliminate in an instant but by means of being able to control the situation then such a thing will definitely be resolved.
It depends on how we can control ourselves by limiting the amount of money we use on gambling. Thus, we will not try to bet beyond our financial limits because we already know the risks so we are still on the right track. And even though we can have luck at the time of gambling and by chance, we can win some money in gambling games, we will not increase the number of bets because it can provide a greater risk of losing. So we just play gambling and have fun by not forgetting that gambling games are not a place to make money.
Actually, there are various ways for us to control our gambling activities whether it's by limiting the amount we gamble or by not overspending our bankroll to avoid future losses. However, one way that works very well for me is by assessing the situations such as our funds, limits, bets, gambling activities and/or even knowing when to stop. I myself sometimes try to deposit more when losing on my gambling activities however it depends on my spending limits or extra funds. If I don't have any more extra funds, then I immediately stop my gambling activities whether I win or not. Also, we must be able to assess our winning situation and losing situation as we can be at a much greater loss if we don't know when to stop just like what we do on investment, we try to cut loss.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 09, 2022, 10:27:53 AM
I'm sure by now you have read about a casino review site where the admins are trusted members of Bitcointalk, which I believe is good for the community because they have a good roadmap and we all know their capability as gambling reviewers but what if reputable members here decided to put their own casino will you support them
Yeah, why not especially if these reputable members already have some good background on gambling-related things and how to run it. If ever there will be a casino that will be created by members of the forum, I think they will collaborate with some existing casinos and will try to offer all the things that other casino lacks either on design, games and services.

Will this become a conflict of interest if they are already or have promoted casinos in the present or in the past, what's your take on this?
Maybe in the future, we'll have one.
No, I don't think that it will be a conflict of interest if ever they did promote some casinos before as those will only prove that they had a background in gambling and casinos. Also, I don't think that existing users will try to create a casino as there are already reputable members that are already in collaboration with some online casinos on their promotions, advertisements, and other services.

635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Distortion Pattern on: October 09, 2022, 09:39:28 AM
Here's the percentage of how many gamblers are facing those pattern in the reality:
Pattern I = 1%
Pattern II = 75%
Pattern III = 20%
Pattern IV = 4%

Most people will suffer on the pattern II since house always win, this make gamblers have lower chance to win the games. The second is pattern III where they're have been lucky on few bets and it's cover their previous losses, but since they're greedy they will lose. Then the third is pattern IV, after they're regret to not cash out his winnings, they will keep bet until they comeback. The last is pattern I, this is only for a professional gambler.
I beg to disagree with those numbers eventhough that the house or casino always wins, it isn't always the case for pattern number II but rather most of our gambling activities lean on to the pattern number III.

Also, there are some gambling patterns that hasn't been included as it is more of a combination of the patterns provided. You can be on a losing streak but later end up on a huge winning streak or it can be a win-lose situation but ended on a either losing streak or winning streak.
636  Economy / Gambling / Re: FortuneJack experience so far so good but I have a few questions on: October 08, 2022, 04:07:13 PM
Both platforms are completely different in almost every aspects. Also, Exchange platform are prone to hacking as it holds not only bitcoin but rather almost all cryptocurrency out there which is also why they have reserves in case something were to happen. Regulation on both platforms also differ on each other as there is much more required documents and regulations on exchanges compared to online casinos.

There have been almost no hacking incident reported on gambling platforms other than the casino itself scamming it's users so that's why it's a must to choose a gambling platform that has a good reputation.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 08, 2022, 03:35:12 PM
Charge to experience, mate. Since losing is always your experience, it might be time for you to stop gambling.

The subject is very misleading. You are risking money on a gambling website and you are expecting a sure winning?

Can't believe that someone who has $2,000 is just doing a suicidal move without any basic knowledge of the risk of gambling.
If you think that losing on gambling or a casino is a scam especially knowing that when you gamble there's a chance that you will either win or lose. Then, yes, charge it to experience to never gamble again as you already know risk yet you still play and blame the platform for losing.

Nope, the subject isn't misleading but rather completely wrong as the casino did not scam him at all.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 08, 2022, 03:04:54 PM
Nowadays every casino is trying their best to ensure the security of their site. However, the developers of that site know what is the level of security is required or where there are weaknesses. I think everyone who owns a prominent site should prioritize security first or else their everything could be vulnerable to hacking at any time. But this security issue is very secure. for this reason no one outside can know about it. The better sites have a dedicated security team that works on security all the time of their site.
Most of the casino start-ups as well as the already running casino already has great security measures added on their platform to avoid any issue on potential loss or hacking issue. It's very rare to hear if there are any gambling platform that have been hacked for the past years. However, loopholes and minor bugs are pretty common on most gambling platform where users usually abuse but once the casino noticed it, it usually gets fixed swiftly.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 07, 2022, 08:57:17 PM
I always consider gaming as gambling I have seen many gamblers spend a lot of money for their character and to level up their account for future profit, like selling their stuff and their character.

If you're a gamer or someone is a gamer and would like to try to gamble in online casinos will it become an easy transition as all the elements of gambling are present when you're a gamer, or does a gamer have to start all over again, and have a different motivation and mindset?

I'm a heavy gamer and also a gambler at the same time. I don't think that "transition " is the right word since gaming and gambling have a different environment even at the bottom line, we are spending money on those.

You don't need to have any movitation to do gambling coming from being a gamer. It depends on our interest.

Don't make that too technical.
Exactly, Gamer games are not the same as what you play on casino games or gambling games. Most or All of the games played on a casino are luck-based games such as Dice and Slot Games unlike what we mostly play as a Gamer which requires logic, strategy and accumulation of stats to get better.

There's no need to compare normal games to what those on the casino as those are entirely different.
640  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: UNIONBANK WILL OFFER CRYPTO EXHANGE SOON? on: October 07, 2022, 07:39:34 PM
Ano sa tingin nyo? Since unionbank is very crypto friendly, magkakaroon kaya sila ng sariling crypto exchange or they will just improve their mobile apps to enable the buy and sell option for cryptocurrency?

Parang more on trading or buy and sell na katulad nung pinost kong thread  [ur=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5411301.msg60826040#msg60826040]"Unang Banko sa Pilipinas na nag-ooffer ng Mobile Cryptocurrency Trading!"[/url].
