I think this was the user who said who have been banned for posting some threads which are seem to be unreal already. Not only that but he also use inappropriate words which are not really good to read in a public forum like this. Indeed, this guy got banned because he engaged in a open dispute with reputable members of the forum on the Reputation board. All began because the threads he often opened (being the last one where he claimed to have bought about 1000 lottery tickets). Eventually got a neutral tag from Yahoo and he complained and insulted people left and right in the same thread he opened. Lol, that guy is too funny at posting outrageous things here on the forum. He even goes against himself a couple of times like saying that he'll quit after a few hours he'll post that he is gambling again and winning a lot. Yahoo called bs to all of his posts and tagged him as he continuously spammed the forum with his nonsensical post and he even attacked him on his threads as yahoo is disagreeing with him, but things got worse when he posted about it and attacked the most reputable members of the forum. |

I find it quite strange that this thread is receiving much more positive replies compared to that one thread which discussed a gambler having a joint account with his friend but later on parting ways with him after winning a huge amount and soloed all the winnings.
But, yeah, this way has a lot of pros especially if both parties are in agreement with all the bets that will be made on the account. Hindi naman required na dapat new thread as long as within a few months ago yung thread. Medjo may mga deserving threads naman within the past few months dito, yung ibaa nasa Others at Pamilihan. Based sa thread ni theymos way back 2018, I don't think na meron format yung pagpost ng merit application. If you want to be a merit source:
1. Be a somewhat established member.
2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.
I am especially eager to have merit sources in sub-communities such as the local sections.

In my own opinion, no one wants to be an employee forever. For now I am both an employee and a business owner but soon I know in myself that I will leave my corporate job, it is just that I am using it to fund my business. I don't want to be an employee needed to report to his boss everyday and needed to please or to comply for his job. It is very tiring to be an employee, business owner gets tired as well but they need to double their effort because it is their own business they are handling and they need to give salary to other people that's why pressure is being there as well.
There are people who cant just really accept their fate on working forever on someones business or company which they cant really just be that comfortable on being that way. Its true that we are really that able to depend into those day job since not all are really that successful when it comes to business venture and other investments but we cant really deny on what are the opportunities that it could give and what are the things that could be changed up. This is why some people do really strive on that one. Most of us are into having a business of our own mainly as we don't want to be an employee forever or probably that we don't want to work for money but rather to have a passive flow of income which most successful business provides. Unfortunately, that is not always the case which is why most businesses fails. In the other hand being an employee may depend on the company itself as on some company, your career growth may be limited unlike if you're on other companies. Also, having a great environment on your workplace where it's employees are treated well makes us more comfortable and enjoy our work. |
