Update 2.3 on April 23 .... I see what you did there! Cheesy

I need the price of the coin to show growth, not fall as it is now, it seems I am ready to exchange my ark for ethereum.

I see you're here for the technology huh? Hasn't your kind of "get-rich-quick" gone extinct yet?
Keep FOMO-buying what is overpriced and FUD-selling what is oversold, that's a great strategy !

Some hard numbers,
ARK's lowest price for the year was 0.30€ and it's now at 0.52€ , what you call a "the price is dropping" is actually a 73% rise from the bottom.
ETH's lowest price for the year was 93.50€ and it's now at 155.60€ , what you seem to feel like doing great is actually a 66% rise from the bottom.

Looking at the All-Time-Lows instead of the 2019 lows gives similar results.

PS: The above percentages show a small difference which is within a statistical error, I don't mean to say that ARK did 7% or 10% better than ETH, I'm only saying that the price action of the last 2 days doesn't mean ARK is having issues, it's just a correction.

in relation to Bitcoin, it is not worth anything and the price is only falling, it means only that big money does not believe in the ark.
I think it is safer and more profitable to sell the ark for Bitcoin and wait for the return of invested capital.

Buy high, sell low. Very good. Keep it up Wink

I have a question when new exchanges will be added to buy the ark.

How many exchanges do you need? Smiley

Something wrong with Binance or Bitterx?

BITCOIN - WHY IT’S NOT TIME FOR BUYING ?

Bollocks. It's always a good time to buy as long as we're below the ATH. So it's not good to buy because the price might fall back to where we are right now (or slightly lower, maybe)? For a hodler this is pure nonsense.

But there is some small wisdom there for the always nervous, coke sniffing and shorting day trader. That being said I will be most pleased if I see your shorts get rekt Smiley

At the risk of waxing political, I learned from my accountant guy, overnight, that the majority of my tax obligations for 2018, were due to Obama's Affordable Care Act.

I cannot begin to describe the bitterness and anger I am currently experiencing.

Picked a bad time to quit drinking. Goddamnit.

Your taxes helped poor people get basic healthcare!?

The horror!  Shocked

212  Economy / Speculation / Re: *Q2-BTC-PRCE PREDICTION-GAME* Q2 LIST GAME on: March 21, 2019, 11:59:22 AM
Thanks for the game, Mic!

I'm basing this on the previous wave (2013-2017). I'm guessing we're now in the post bottom sideways phase where the bulls will gain momentum (like Jan-Oct 2015). So this means we will most likely be in the 3800-4200 range for the next few months. Volatility will likely be pretty low.

Around end of June I guess we might see some greater volatility with $500-1000 daily price changes. Basically the end of cup and start of handle formation. The mean price around the time might be in the previous sideways (Sep-Nov 2018) support of $6k.

My prediction: $6290

Disclosure: I'm pretty high on hopium...

can't remember seeing you this Bullish, thinking the same of a few other

LIKE IT Smiley Grin

I'm long term bullish. But I've been very bearish on the WO thread for the last year cause we were in a bear market...
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: March 21, 2019, 11:15:58 AM
Litecoin just received an FCAS grade rating of "A" which is at par with top cryptocurrencies. Check this out - https://app.flipsidecrypto.com/fcas-scores

Litecoin have very active dev team and very large community behind it good to see this it received more better rating hopefully it will get increased in coming days. I think more adoption from all around the world will make this more attractive and dev will also keep doing their job with this spirit.

Yes, I was even very surprised to see LTC even have a higher rating to some perceived solid projects and I hope that rating justifies LTC's status and should guide the crypto community regarding its merits. Imho.

What are you talking about? This list is worthless.

EOS is no.1. This is all the info I needed to completely disregard the list as a well packaged and perfumed load of shit...

You are entitled to your opinion but I'm a little bit confused from you saying the list is worthless yet you've referenced its rating / info with your favorite coin and believed its data are with integrity and reliable??

I have to base my opinion on their scores. And it looks like they highly favor developing project vs. mature projects.

Their score is made from 3 basic parts:
User activity - high importance
Current Development - high importance
Market maturity - low importance

A mature project like Bitcoin will have moderate activity in current active development, but its market is very mature (compared to other crypto assets).
And because development is more important than market maturity EOS has a higher score than Bitcoin.
There is nothing wrong with considering active development, but you can't just disregard 10 years of development and only look at what's been done in the last year...

And this is complete and utter bullshit in my modest opinion.

I'll give you an analogy:

This is like the reliability score for a car would favor active research/development vs. service incident statistics. Because the more effort you put into the research/development the better the product, right?

This way a prototype would score higher in reliability than a car that has been sold in millions and has performed reliably for years...

Was there any news or just pointless pump?
Just daily regular pump and I doubt this will be a start point of alt season. Small pumps don't make any sense to me if the same pump doesn't happen on altcoins that have a connection to Litecoin.

Could you elaborate? What are some of these altcoins that have a connection to Litecoin? I can't name one.

On the other hand there IS growth in all major coins, with Litecoin being the best performing by far this week.

One reason could be that we will be seeing a golden cross formation (50 day MA crosses above 200 day MA) somewhere around March 15th. This is generally considered a bullish sign since it is a strong indicator/confirmation of a bearish to bullish trend reversal.
