If this is not a scam, then why does LTCgear not respond to charge back disputes? Nothing from the emails I sent or directly to my bank. Paypal is of no help and will not provide any additional information with a real name, address, and phone number.
LTCgear stopped accepting paypal right before the TOS change from 60 45 days to 180 days for filing a dispute (11/17/2014). This corresponds quite well to their claimed 'attack' and dragging out this process. We are past the 60 45 day point, so don't expect further payouts from LTCgear.
When exactly did you pay with Paypal? I was under the impression this was not possible since May or June 2014... Last date was 11/10/2014 I thing paypal was for selling a hardware. No hardware - no PP Seriously, I posted a screen cap back in Oct or Nov proving this. I think it had to be manually unlocked for someone's account. I emailed several times to get paypal access for buying anniversary packs. Unfortunately, I bought most of my shares with BTC and only a few with paypal. Turns out paypal is of no help anyway. The reason I bring this up now is it adds some rationale for delaying the collapse of LTCgear just long enough to keep people like me from filing charge backs (even though they are very small amounts compared to the BTC I invested). For those of you who also used paypal or any other means of payment, now is the time to start the dispute process. It does not look like it is going anywhere on my side but maybe others will have better luck. I don't think it would even make a dent if he honored all charge back disputes via PayPal. And if I was him I would require you to return all payouts via some escrow...

Looks like it is about Factom: Factom's simple extension of the Bitcoin blockchain, allows users to run their own personal, provably immutable ledgers. Users and applications, also have the ability to define which information is stored in the ledgers. "Foactom lets you use the blockchain without forcing you to use the currency," nice, but why should this be so bullish? If people start using their API for their databases it creates intrinsic value for Bitcoin. Indeed. This is cool stuff. I'll be keeping my eye on this...

Bitstamp | Total bids: 3230081 USD. Total asks: 8699 BTC. Ratio: 371.29663 USD/BTC
This doesn't mean anything, you are overlooking it... a correction to $250 is possible maybe followed with some stability for few days then the downtrend will continue till we hit the bottom (double digits, lower double digits) Sure, I smell another drop coming, but I'm not sure if lower double digits is where it will end. There would be major capitulation at sub $150. Not sure if there would be enough people willing to sell at sub $100 to drive it that far. I love bears. We just had a massive calamitous decline with a huge volume reversal, after a never ending 13 month bear market. When the market finally turns up they predict doom. As i said yesterday we will see who are just trolls/useful idiots to the whales controlling the market and who actually follow the trend. Those aren't bears, they are either bear cultists (permabears) or pigs. I'm not a permabear, I'm just not convinced we have reached the bottom. Maybe it was yesterday. We'll see... No way to be sure until it's tested and retested. As for mmitech. He's just permanegative. He loves to see things burn... you must be new here, I am not negative... I am optimistic and bullish when the market is bullish, and pessimistic and bearish when the market is bearish, as simple as that. BTW 1w chart is still showing a huge chance for a continuing downtrend (unless we recover to $450 in the next couple weeks) I don't see despair yet, when it hit most of you will abandon the ship, only then I will buy back, at this point my money is safe and stable in my bank account Don't disagree on any particular point, except that I think you are overly negative. Double digits are highly unlikely. I think we are very near the floor. There's been plenty capitulation this far. There will be despair when the price doesn't go back to $250... No need for $50 for that to happen Recovery to $450 anytime soon would be an unsustainable bubble...

Prediction: Lost of mining equipment being sold off cheap, some of which will be purchased by bitcoin enthusiasts who will hold rather than sell.
I doubt it - the mining co-ops are just idling their equipment and trying to wait it out. If diff is too high and price too low. It's a perfect time to get some maintenance done
