201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you send Bitcoin from an iPhone? on: January 24, 2014, 05:19:09 AM
Would it not be possible to use an app with a jailbroken phone?
202  Economy / Lending / Re: Requirements for BTC Loan on: January 24, 2014, 05:14:38 AM
I've always though it was ridiculous the way people want collateral in the form of an alt coin equating to MORE than the value of the actual loan. The person wanting to borrow might as well exchange his alt coin for the coin he wants.
203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Besides Cash - is any payment method truely safe for BTC sellers? on: January 23, 2014, 05:11:50 PM
I would say all methods of payment are safe as long as the buyers are honest!

Besides cash an alt currency would be the most safe if you're concerned about scammers  Roll Eyes
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitstamp to MTGox Market Arbitrage on: January 23, 2014, 04:58:49 PM
I think you'll find that withdrawing fiat from Gox takes a lot longer than any 25 days  Wink
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You double your deposit in 20 days -- Possible? on: January 23, 2014, 04:53:01 PM
You shouldn't even be asking about the site - it's so obviously not legitimate!

206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safe site or scam? on: January 23, 2014, 04:40:45 PM
I have a 1 Thai Baht Small gold bar (96.5%) weight is just over 15 grams.

Would do if 21,000 baht's worth of BTC + EMS shipping at another 1200 baht's worth of BTC?

Let me know
207  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Bitcoin with PayPal ( Trusted Buyer on LocalBitcoins ) on: January 23, 2014, 12:44:18 PM
Why is always the one that claim to be trusted never are while the trusted members never actually mention their trust  Smiley
208  Economy / Goods / Re: 10btc SILVER casascius FUNDED MINT on: January 22, 2014, 11:11:02 PM
LOL, a 10 btc coin and your asking 30BTC..

anyone who buys these any pays your prices are insane or not thinking about the future..

when bitcoin is worth 100K each, and your holding this 10 btc coin worth a cool million it will feel good i assume.... BUT how in the world  are you going to get $2 million premium when you want to sell it..

Its never going to happen!

Good luck though!
So what you're saying is that when bitcoin is worth 100K, your 10 btc token would need to be worth three million dollars for this to be a good investment now... I see your point.

Thanks, it should not be too hard to wrap ones head around that!

I think your missing the point - Bitcoin is Bitcoin and fiat is fiat. You need to stop mixing them together.
209  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking To Sell .135 BTC For $90 (Negotiable) on: January 22, 2014, 05:53:25 PM
Can understand that, I'd take it from you if you sent first and would pay after confirmations, I don't mind sending first if the seller has past trust history.

210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most accessible/less technical methods for a newbie to profit from Bitcoin on: January 22, 2014, 05:41:35 PM
In all honesty you shouldn't be asking people how to make money - if you can't figure it out yourself then there is really not much hope......
211  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking To Sell .135 BTC For $90 (Negotiable) on: January 22, 2014, 04:48:54 PM
I'd be interested in this, I have done a few good trades with PayPal previously on this forum (check trust).

Would you be willing to send first?

212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Bitcoin Logo tweak on: January 22, 2014, 04:27:53 PM
Looks great, nice work wish I was blessed with any form of design skills  Smiley
213  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB/WTS bicoin with paypal or wu on: January 22, 2014, 04:02:27 PM

This is just laughable - I mean come on who is going to be stupid enough to fall for this?
214  Other / Meta / Re: Add child-boards to Marketplace > Services on: January 22, 2014, 01:23:43 PM
I think if this were to implemented there would be too many options to choose from and could be confusing for some.

215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best paper for a paper wallet on: January 22, 2014, 01:07:24 PM
I just use normal card and cover in Sellotape, a bit crude but works OK  Smiley
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy now or wait ? $41,000 to invest in bitcoins and litecoins on: January 22, 2014, 12:01:20 AM
When you are talking about large sums of money you are better making your own decision - don't be swayed by what people are advising on a forum  Smiley
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite alt-coin? on: January 21, 2014, 11:37:12 PM
I don't think we are really in need of any alts bar LTC, PPC and possibly ANC  Wink
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Boycott Pre-Mined Coins? on: January 21, 2014, 11:25:18 PM
How about we boycott all but a few of the proper alts - that would be the best idea  Wink
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for some big traders on BTC-e on: January 21, 2014, 11:13:23 PM
Here is my question;
would you feel secure to trade and invest larger amounts, big amounts ? on BTC-e
Or give me a raison why not to do it ?

I personally would not - Too many horror stories of withdrawals and deposits going astray......
220  Economy / Economics / Re: 85 people now own 50% of world's wealth on: January 21, 2014, 11:03:45 PM
Bitcoin will not change anything. The poorest people in the world own no bitcoins, so it doesn't really matter what the value is.

They don't own any bitcoins at the moment, but that can change.

The poorest people in the world don't even have clean water, let alone access to a computer to store Bitcoin........
