201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: September 12, 2019, 11:59:30 PM
The only and most reliable way to protect your wallets from hackers is to make sure that hackers never even know that you have wallets, not to mention how to get into them.
Any person can do this. There are quite a few tips on the forum that you can listen to.
The best thing is to create a wallet on a device that has never connected to the Internet.

Not your private keys, not your coins. I usually talk about the good sides of the Bitcoin, Blockchain technology but never talked about my Bitcoins. The gold rule explains a lot for the new traders and crypto investors. The safe wallets are offline wallets like Nano ledger, Trezor but the new desktop wallets promote the wrong ideas. The offline personal computer is enough for getting the best privacy in my opinion. The broken smartphone also does the job as offline storage for the crypto holdings. The pro tips by the security advisors help the new trader in order to prevent the phishing, malware attacks.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why transactions take so much time? on: September 12, 2019, 11:33:35 PM
Different blockchains - different transaction speeds. If you are not happy with the speed of the blockchain that you use, exchange it for another one,
thank God everyone on any major exchange can exchange one cryptocurrency for another without much difficulty.

That's the benefit we can enjoy where there's a lot of exchanges in the market, they will provide liquidity to ensure we can trade anytime we want.
What's important only is that people will begin accepting not only bitcoin but altcions as well, based on my experience, I am more satisfied using DOGE coin for my transaction as its faster and way cheaper compared to other coins I use.

Though we cannot deny that BTC is the most popular now, but because of its demand the value increases hence fees follows, therefore it's not advisable to use for small transactions only as the fee is not worth it.

I can attest to Doge being one of the cheapest and faster coins. Especially when you want to run arbitrage and all transactions fees matter. So instead of withdrawing BTC at 5usd at eg Binance you rather convert to doge, send to Kucoin and withdraw btc at less than 2usd
I also do comparable transfers between big exchanges and the XRP, DOGE, NEO are the cheapest, fastest coins as a withdrawal choice. Instead of paying the 5$ worth of XRP to the Hitbtc I prefer to convert my holdings to the NEO and withdraw to the Binance. In the end, the total cost will be less than 1 USD due to the fees and commissions.

Different exchanges have different rates but Livecoin can be a good choice for withdrawing the trading profits. The various withdrawal options are there and the withdralwa fees are not as high as the HitBtc. The average market fees are more in the big exchanges, but there is no need to make the same choice as the crowd.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run 2019-2020 on: September 12, 2019, 11:02:37 PM
Yes, I guess the bull run will still happen this year 2019. I am still a strong believer that before the halving, the "All Time High" will still be reachable.
I thought that we're on a bull run now because bitcoin finally hits $13k but it fell down all of the sudden. But the timing is good and price is much higher than few months ago. We are maybe on the first phase of the bull run and the gains that we are having right now is a normal gain of the market and isn't brought by hype.

We have seen worst dump than that, $13,000-$10,000 is not that significant to Bitcoin market. We can sleep tonight and all of the sudden the price goes on a 10%-20% the next day, that's how Bitcoin's volatility is and this is not a cause for alarm.
Yes, there's worst than that dump. LOL!
True that we can sleep even without thinking what would be the price tomorrow and it's likely we're been hitting $10,500 few hours from now.
The radiative noise effect is the traditional way to react by the traders if something goes wrong in the crypto market. The price is near the $10450 currently and I think BAKKT is the first reason why we trade in the small pumps recently.  Tomorrow price will likely hit the $10700 before the closing weekly chart in my opinion.

The France government also supported to tax the gains from crypto trading but there is no law to tax the crypto to crypto transfers. If the citizens of France have no purpose to withdraw the profits from the exchange, there will be no tax until this action happens with a local bank. It is like a virus and it spreads faster among the crypto ban law accepted governments.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I've taken my eye off bounty hunters comments on: September 12, 2019, 10:18:15 PM
Many people still can't stand on their own decisions thats why they easily get swayed by these deceiving bounty hunters, they spread the news not to join a bounty project just to avoid getting many bounty hunters on such bounty project for more rewards, my dear friends learn to stand your ground and belief in your own research
Nice analysis for finding the FUDders in the bounty campaigns, these fake news spread habit is the common among the loser bounty hunters. They don't want to see many people joining the bounty campaigns and the fewer people the more reward mentality is dominant on their mind. If the bounty manager has an intention to distribute the bounty rewards but the team didn't agree with this the bounty hunters become angry to the project which they promoted with extraordinary efforts.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: September 12, 2019, 09:33:51 PM
It is unlikely that BTC will crash back to $5000, at least in the near future, but if this happened it will affect the prices of altcoins, or most of them, badly. We noticed many times that altcoins markets are still depending on the BTC market and price, so if BTC price decrease the prices of the altcoins will go down too.

That will be the most common scenario that will likely to happen if bitcoin crashes. Anyway, not even in 5k level, even at price levels where bitcoin slowly decrease its price, the price of alts also decrease. So we can see this trend even not in 5k price level. I won't be surprised when that price movement happens.
I have seen many cases which price of the altcoins increase while Bitcoin price decreases and you can check the historical charts for confirmation. The consolidation between price of the BTC and altcoin is not fully known to the crypto community yet and these correlations are the example of how people treat the altcoins as anticipate to the BTC price. The response of the altcoins is always laggy to the price movement of the Bitcoin, $5000 price will be a shock hummer for most of the altcoins. In global markets, each financial asset has anyhow correlation between the bigger ones, it is also the same correlation between the Bitcoin and the altcoins.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom on: September 12, 2019, 08:22:31 PM
I sold my altcoins because I held them for too long and they did not grow in value, but only fell. I lost faith in their growth, so I sold everything and bought bitcoin.
In this case, you invested all in the single coin. The biggest mistake of any trader who just FOMOed and rush to buy the single coin with all holdings. After the bear market, these traders enjoy their smart decision but it can take a few years. If you hold your altcoin for years and never take a loss from the market due to your greediness, every lost penny deserves to be excluded from your trading account.

Putting all eggs to the one basket is risky selection, the old wise investors advise not to try the depth of the water with both feet. Diversifying the altcoin portfolio never becomes risky if the investors have chosen the right altcoins from a future perspective. The forum is full of the crying posts which written by the traders made the same mistakes. This idea never crossed my mind after losing 75% of my trading account in the single trade 6 years ago.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: September 12, 2019, 03:36:06 PM
For $500 you can start to invest in IEO, I'm sure you can make profit of it, but make sure that you participate in big exchanges like huobi or binance that launch IEO.
But in order to participate in IEO on the Binance you need to buy BNB. I don’t think it’s very good when you are obliged to buy some kind of coin to participate in a new project
The dominance of Binance among the IEO exchanges has these kind of bad effects. Investors have to purchase the asset of the exchange in order to receive a right for investment to the IEOs.  The lottery system is not a successful method for choosing the IEO investors, the BNB whales will be able to buy the big share which is dumped by the same whales. After dumping their tokens, they go to market for accumulation more tokens for cheaper prices.

By the way, governments think about limiting the crypto investing and I think these new rules will start to be trouble before the introduction of the Libra coin. I don't know how these decisions affect the dominant exchanges. The crypto exchanges will agree with these rules and the price of BNB will go deeper in case of accepting the law by the exchanges.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: September 12, 2019, 02:42:15 PM
I think it’s obvious that no one really knows where the Bounty Campaign is going to turn up but what we can do is at least pick one that’s from a reputed option and with vision. If it still turns out wrong, I don’t think we really need to blame our self for that at all and just take it as bad luck. At least, I am one who is in way of doing that, as I know it’s just the only way for one to be able to get the required results to benefit through.

As you above mentioned, it is obvious that bounties are unpredictable. If the last result of any bounty campaigns was known to the traders, they will never desire to miss this bounty campaign.  The benefit is confidential and asking from the bounty hunter is not ethic, that is the reason why there is no comparable spreadsheet of the bounty campaigns. The only way to become a winner is to choose the random bounty campaigns and join it until the end of the token sale. The reward is expected to be distributed right after the ICO but I only remember a few projects that hold their promise during the bounty allocation distribution.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate on: September 11, 2019, 11:34:27 PM
It happens with all of us. Its very pity when such things happen with the bounty hunters even in some bounties admin doesn't allow to leave the signature campaign in the mid if you leave it before finishing the campaign your stakes will be zero. When campaign keeps extending we should understand things are not really good. At present, I hardly join new bounties because all the projects I am doing keep extending their projects and I see investors are also not taking much interest in ICOs. We should be more smarter while joining the projects to avoid being scammed.
The ongoing bounty campaigns barely pay in the ETH and major bounty campaigns promise to pay the exact reward in tokens after the end of the ICO. Investors also don't want to consume their time with the useless project which there is no proper project management by the team. The similar situations become common for the crypto investors and bounty hunters.

Let's compare the bounty campaigns of the former years and currently open brand-new project's bounty campaigns. The innocent difference can be noticed with the simple research, the previous bounty hunters were not as emotional as today's bounty hunters but the bounty allocations were profitable during the old campaigns. The prolonged payments sent late, bounty hunters don't want to respect the bounty terms and conditions for the before-mentioned reasons.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My opinion about dumps caused by bounty participants. on: September 11, 2019, 09:46:44 PM
Many people do not understand offer and demand, how it really works.
If all bounty hunters would like to sell all their tokens (2% of total supply) it is a huge selling pressure. If there are not enough buyers, price is going down until encounters buy orders. And as you can guess, noone wants to buy ICO coins just after the ICO sale because those who wanted buy, they already bought. Smiley
Your point of view?  Cool

Bounty hunters have the right to sell their coins at any time, because they earned them honestly. If the project owners do not want to see a price dump, then let them pay the bounty hunters in Ethereum, which they received as an investment. And then there will be no problems with a price dump. How do you like this idea?
This is not the first time we have seen such offers but the meaning of the paying in ETH is not going to solve this problem. Bounty hunters don't want to hold the token they earned through bounty campaign but they want to sell as soon as possible for quick cash which they don't deserve in my opinion. The dump doesn't happened from the things like weather or the emotional shape of the bounty hunter, there are strong arguments behind every dump by the bounty hunters. As a passive income, bounty earnings distributed as a gift but this gift is locked for months. After the unlock period, I can't blame the bounty hunters for these reasons. They also need to make money.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last 3 Months of 2019! What is your prediction about the Market? on: September 11, 2019, 08:28:02 PM
Market expectations are higher than previous years and the price movement doesn't satisfy the requirement of the crypto traders. I expect big green candles for the December but it is just my prediction. The bull market will not happen until the clearance by the legal authorities in my opinion. The governments will not let the crypto traders spread "toxic" as they see the crypto mass adoption.  My prediction is we will see the next uptrend after the middle week of November but this is just only my conclusion based on my market exposure.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is the name of a cryptocurrency project? on: September 11, 2019, 07:18:10 PM
If the copied name doesn't explain the idea of the project with a single world then using it is the foolish first step by the team. There are famous crypto brands and everyone knows the meaning, applying case of the brands. If the name is not fresh, unique then thinking twice may help the team to launch the project or not. Dressing the project is important and unique brand project will be successful if they stick to the rules which they thought about it.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick Review over NRG Energi coin Is this coin gonna moon? on: September 11, 2019, 06:50:23 PM
NRG-Energi coin is getting down if we compare the previous and recent changes on the price graphs, but it doesn't mean, it is not profitable as other altcoins. As you mentioned,  it's gonna be way better than ETH on so many levels. l do agree NRG is a very potential coin, but it is still unbelievable for many new traders that, NRG can be better than ETH. NRG can only better than other altcoins but not among top 10 altcoins. The moon coins have fundamental nature and the nature of the pump coins share the same features in my opinion. The Etherum based Erc-20 tokens are my primary choice if I ever decide to risk my BTC for catching the pump before it happened or shilled on social media.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the future of btc and eth? on: September 10, 2019, 10:54:17 PM
Bitcoin and better future. Since Eth is purely based on the bitcoin price. ETH also had good future as compared to any other altcoin.
Crypto is the place ,where you can inverse after seeing the power of it. Before investing your money, kindly analysis the market well and get profit from it.
In trading, it is no secret that choosing reliable projects for investing will not make an investor regretful from my experience. The good analysis will not lead to the depression with the losses but this possibility can not be denied in the volatile crypto markets. ETH price does not solely depend on the price of the Bitcoin but the positive correlation exists, however.

The correlation between Bitcoin and Etherum has the historical value means, the prices don't move independently. This dependance is calculable but the indicators on the many platforms show the wrong data, unfortunately. To be honest, the experience and trading skills are required for checking the price velocity between two financial assets in the crypto ecosystem. Experienced traders check this correlation and invest in the long term projects which based on the Ethereum platform.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: September 10, 2019, 09:44:26 PM
BTC daily and the others every other day
I have the same routine for bitcoin. I can't stop myself from doing that. It became part of my life already and for altcoins, I can easily see it too when I check bitcoin price.
And for alts that I'm not concerned but I have it, occasionally I check them.
In reality, day traders check the Bitcoin price every hour for understanding the market movement. Altcoin trader usually worries regarding the price changes in the ETH and the Binance traders look for the huge price swings in the price of BNB from my understanding.

The Blockfolio and CoinGekgo Android applications send notifications if the market shows strong buy or sell signal. Bear market conditions don't let the prices to discover the new resistance levels which are required for touching the higher price points. These applications are updated in every 10 minutes and there is no need to scroll down the screen page for updating the latest prices in the crypto market.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: September 10, 2019, 07:22:11 PM
In crypto world mistake is normal and for sure we always learned from our mistakes. I should say that don't get fear to make a failure simply because we can minimize the mistake little by little until will become expert. Making a mistakes is a step to become success.
Overall, mistakes, something which we all are very well acquainted with, something we are making at some instance in our life. Many people give up once they fail, but others find new ways to work. Many people consider failure as the final result, but others find ways to get to their desired goals. They implement new strategies to achieve their goals. Sometimes, you can face scam projects, as you above mentioned, but keep going, rise from the mistakes and don't worry. Every mistake is your experience.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: September 10, 2019, 03:26:24 PM
It is true bitcoin has crushed the altcoins. But there are some of the altcoins those are  in green in the market and it will take time for the bitcoin to crush them.
The current market situation is not affordable for getting in the altcoins with huge amounts. Many investors prefer to see growth rather than saving their money in the savings account. The recession phase is not done yet, altcoins still have a bigger room for worldwide adoption. Straight facts are the name of the power which doesn't let the investors invest more Bitcoin in the altcoins. The mass adoption will bring new features and the requirements will shift to the new level from my conclusion. The correction is the entry points of the active traders, overlooking the trade levels will not give an additional profit to the crypto day traders in my view.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: September 10, 2019, 02:21:33 PM
My advice before making a big exchange is to make sure the market is always active, and record trading transactions that are not in the form of bots in it, clear information and support that is important in every major exchange, a good binance and a safe exchange, try not to trade. One-time transaction, if there is a mistake then you will not lose all the assets that you have
If there is a fat finger syndrome on the trader, comparing the exchange rates and liquidity will not help that person. Actively traded markets are usually turned by the trading bots and there will be always fake trading volume generator bots in the small market cap altcoins. Major exchanges are my preference and I ask the same questions related to the low volume exchanges with no liquidity altcoin pairs. Iliquid market conditions will unquestionably lead to the volatile market prices which is dangerous for the new traders without a decent experience. Binance altcoins never get a flash crash price bar on any chart during the trading these altcoins actively on Binance exchange.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This might be ridiculous, but let answer this question on: September 10, 2019, 01:34:01 PM
Millions of people nowadays, in here, actually looking for a job to work with and most of them are works in Bounties section, where I approximately understand that people can get easy money from it. Every day and every second thousand posts are delivered and posted. But, some of my minds want to know about your real life. Do you really enjoy your life outside this forum?

I have a main job and make bounty as a side job. I am interested in participating in the bounty because besides getting knowledge about a project, I also get tokens from the results of the campaign that I follow and of course I enjoy my life
As a part-time activity forum bounty campaigns look very attractive. Other activities should be compensated as a full-time daily job or spending time with the family. The bounty rewards are not a proper source of long term income. Long term investing is a radically different profession compared to the bounty tasks which don't ask for the risky decisions. I can take the profits from the market if I lost my confidence as an investor but the bounty hunters don't have this type of luxury.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: September 09, 2019, 11:42:29 PM
maybe there will be no more place for altcoin. only altcoin that has a large marketcap will survive. and maybe this will have an impact on the overall crypto trade. no one will buy again if bitcoin falls below $5k again.
If we could see how altcoins are crying when Bitcoin price at $3k early this year? This will be the same and they still are crying.
Of course, high volume and liquidity coins will survive but those coins that are sleeping already will be totally dead sooner. This is what the market moves right now and I should have to put money to a thing could we could rely on the next ten 10 years or more.
For long term investing, choosing the high-rank altcoins will be more profitable but the limitations are not trader-friendly. The surviving coins will not see the dip points but the small market cap altcoins can go lower than the all-time low prices. Bitcoin price will not go to the $5000 unless the market demand changes with bad news. The altcoins will follow the any trend with the BTC chart, we need to find the gold average between the price of the Bitcoin and altcoins.
