This is exactly what happened to Blackcoin and WHitecoin. XC is the new Whitecoin - a complete and utter rip off, a shameful clone to snag the greedy - Look where Whitecoin is now....

So, essentially you're saying XC is a copy/clone of Darkcoin. It's ok bro, I can already see that from it's name, X11Coin....

Not at all. XC uses the multi path paradigm as an extension of the dual path paradigm, similar to the TOR onion routing protocol. As well as offering encryption and far greater decentralisation of it's autonomous xnodes. And that's just the start. XC will blow DRK out of the water.

Read some of the tech here:

http://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1208/1208.3022.pdf
http://eprint.iacr.org/2009/385.pdf

Other things coming:

Blockchain v2.0 with encrypted messaging and peer-to-peer marketplace
Payment cards: "Yes, Debit/ATM/VISA. More details to follow."

See the developer's background here: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/dan-metcalf/12/1a8/b82/

XC offers encrypted transactions. And the coming xnodes will be clustered and completely decentralised... no master node type structure.

I collated these points from the XC developer of things to look forward to in the future, to build upon our already solid foundation:

The mixer technology will be multi-path across a cluster of xnodes which runs over the encrypted protocol, so it won't be a central server, it would be similar to a distributed cluster, and the data is encapsulated inside that encrypted tunnel to prevent off-the wire sniffing (or off-the-air* for the mobile platform)...  DRK didn't "invent" supernodes or the concept, and while some of concepts are similar and/or overlap, we are on a different path than DRK and as we refine the platform, it will be clear why our design, implementation and infrastructure is superior as we will have autonomous supernodes using PKI that can scale up and out to become a distributed anonymous application platform

This is why the multi-path paradigm network I built back in 2005 still functions to do this day and scaled up to meet the demands of 2014... think back to 2005, granted we had the internet, but not the mobile technology - and that is a key part of my background is mobility that will be leveraged in the android anonymous POS wallet

http://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1208/1208.3022.pdf)
(The principles for this concept come from a design that I originally leveraged back in 2005,[multi-path paradigm] the system still runs to do this day handling 50k to 100k users per day )

If your waiting for NSA proof anonymity - well that is the goal of our REV 2 release..

No, mixing is only part of it, XC now contains a completely new transaction protocol layer that is encrypted and will be leveraged as a platform for all sorts of concepts.... and it will leverage multi-path paradigm topology (which again is a custom developed concept based on dual-path paradigm)So mixing is just the first application to run on top of this new protocol........ Don't want this key point to get lost --- mixing is just the first application, the list is long and the potential is huge, and since the foundation has been built and deployed, it is now time to build on that foundation.... with some revolutionary concepts and idea's.....

Also the infrastructure for this will support numerous other applications, such as encrypted messaging, P2P exchange..etc granted we can only develop new features so fast, but we are putting the foundation for a multi-use, multi-purpose platform

Has there been any more thought about lowering the daily amount of MRO produced?

Seemed that there was a number of people for that idea and only a couple against it.

No masternode or supernode required to communicate Xnodes to clients

^ It's beautiful. DRK could learn from that.

Don't forget also that the multi path paradigm of XCoin is based on the onion routing similar to TOR.

What has been accomplished in such a small time frame for XC is simply staggering and what lies ahead is going to be a game changer. Why else do you see DRK tanking badly and XC rising up magnificently.

How is the MINT android app coming along? I would be interested in reading how it was implemented as a lightweight wallet due to the pos difficulties.

people are hoping onto XC from DRK. its basically a complete RIP OFF, but the traders don't care.

when they come to realise it needs some substance behind it, the sheep and the traders will have lost their money.

XC is not a ripoff. Please lets not spread misinformation and work together. There is a simple reason why XC is rising fast and DRK is being heavily dumped. XC already offers improvements over DRK with it's encrypted traffic and is built on an entirely different protocol using the multipath paradigm.

The next step is the completely decentralised xnode clusters for handling mixing. When that happens all bets are off.  Cool
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: May 28, 2014, 07:43:32 PM
The only reason its down so much is because the hardfork didnt work out and word spread. Now theyre jumping on a certain other crap coin that promises to be the next big anon coin. But I say there will be interest as soon as this next hardfork works out and dark takes another step.

XC already offers improvements over DRK with it's encrypted traffic.

XC is built on an entirely different protocol using the multipath paradigm.

The next step is the completely decentralised xnode clusters for handling mixing.

It's a revolution. Competition is good though in an economic market, it benefits the consumer and promotes innovation.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIBERTYCOIN][XLB] X11 | 100% POS | No IPO | No Premine | Cryptsy & Mintpal on: May 28, 2014, 06:06:12 PM
It is so sad, truly.

Agreed and understood! I think Libertycoin devs, even with all their inexperience about managing a coin and investment vehicle of this proportion , are trying to do some damage control and getting the faith back of the community. Its probably wise to be a bit more patient, wait and watch.

On hindsight its important to understand the price rise. The price rose because Christopher Bouzy used his friends and followers to pump the price up, based on purely promotional activities but not on the back of actual product development. Vericoin with its super efficient devs is still trading under 1K because there is no erroneous pump going on. So in hindsight, this might be correct price and from here on, is upto the community to build REAL infrastructure and drive demand (hence prices) up in a genuine way.

Actually the price of XLB was exactly 8k when Christoper Bouzy announced he was officially promoting Libertycoin.

Just wanted to provide an update, I expect another wallet release on Sunday night, with the updated GUI for the anonymizer technology - only 1 click. Also some other new's will be coming before then - that I'm sure everybody will appreciate...

The block times on the explorer seem to be spaced out way too much - http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/X11Coin

Can you confirm the transition to PoS has gone smoothly? If not, rat4 the developer of BlackCoin may offer help. He is a PoS expert who has helped other PoS coins and is working on PoS 2.0

Emilio-You are a disgrace to crypto and any community

Since you're so keen to disclose people's personal information, why don't you put yours up?

LOL. Christopher Bouzy posted the XLB dev's personal information, full name and educational instituation and smearing accusations without any proof. He posted my private messages on here the other week. He threatened to post my real name and address on here (like I give a shit).

Christopher Bouzy 's information is available from his company information which is publicly available. Whereas the information HE leaks is private.

He deserves for everything to be out in the open.

You know what, I can't even argue that you're entirely wrong here and since we want to justify the actions of some kids, who have now created their destiny, I will ask you this, if you happened to get into a conflict of interest on any community forum, an argument that was silly and it was blown out of proportion, would you be ok if someone disclosed your personal information and photo's?

I talked to you in XLB from very early on and understand your frustration, but the question above is pretty rhetorical.

If I sold products through a company and via this forum then obviously my name and information would be accessible to everyone. Therefore I would act professionally at all times, for very obvious reasons. That is how the world of business works.

As I said:

As far as I am concerned, the guy is complete scum. Btw I actually sent this man $100 of my own money for free! (public btc donation on here). I used to defend him in the forums! It should tell you something that I have changed my opinion of him.

There is a saying. If you bump into an asshole one day he was probably an asshole. If you keep bumping into assholes, it's you who is the asshole. That's two coins Christopher Bouzy has tried to promote now and he left both of them in a very bad way with wild unfounded accusations.

One day this idiot will learn that these are decentralised currencies.  Cheesy

We shouldn't rule out the possibility that this guy is mentally disturbed and perhaps we should go easy on him. He seems to be deluded enough not to realise what an embarrassment he has made of himself and his business reputation.

Its funny to read a bit on other coin threads, everywhere it sounds like "we must implement feature XXX as soon as possible".
And thats all about features Blackcoin already has, except ANON. LOL

looks like we have here the leading coin Wink

PS: I think Anon has it's niche now but its not a "must have" for a serious currency.

Anon-services could be implemented outside the coin too btw...

+ 1 BLK is one of the most promising coins.
about anon feat.: that is exactly what is being done - a wallet with anon + other features.

Is the anon stuff a web wallet or is it actually integrated into the wallet software?

DRK hit $60 million+ market cap. And then the house of cards collapsed with there bolted together shaky system causing weak hands to sell.

We will make DRK look like myspace vs facebook by the time we are done. $100 million market cap by the end of the month.

funny thing about your XC dev is : he was a summercoin fan  Grin.. looks like xc is also made in china

Half the reason the price is rocketing is not only because of the current anon feature in the wallet, but because of what the dev has said to do with decentralized xnode system + blockchain 2.0 in combination with his amazing credentials.  atcsecure was CEO of tech security firm and is a legendary coder known back from the 1990's <--- this is being valued into the price right now.  atcsecure is currently the most (known) qualified developer in the entire altcoin world.
