Note: this thread does not properly reflect the average sentiment of the community.
Maarx I sincerely hope you join a dev team that will make you wealthy, you deserve it. But BC will not be your ticket to wealth.... To be clear about this, there is no such thing as a "dev team" for BlackCoin. There is a single developer. There are various dev teams working on services and content around BlackCoin. BlackCoin is, and always will be, a community coin. We should not look up to any one person to represent BlackCoin or to "fix things". And we are not. We are a community. Someone has to represent the community. The community all cant go to a meeting. Tell me the person who represents the Bitcoin community? And the Litecoin community? And the Peercoin community? That's right. No-one. I don't mean this in a bad way but I'm glad you are leaving Blackcoin because you have been nothing but a destructive influence towards it in the last week. I also believe that in the coming months you will look back and wish you handled things with more dignity. You know you and some of the others are completely full of shit right?. All I read all day is IE this and IE that. What are you and the other half wits doing to stop BC from crashing? Nothing. BC is slowing collapsing and all anyone can talk about is me. If I am so insignificant and do not matter, why am I talked about more than any of the members of the dev team or foundation? Stop kidding yourself, BC will slide into a coma because no one was more vocal than me promoting it. Bitcoin might not have one person representing it, but BlackCoin sure did. You will begin to realize just how important a role I played when BC is @ 5 cents and you start reflecting on the good old days of my promotions. BTW: Did you read the agreement from the PR firm? Didyou read what the PR firm is giving this community for $30,000? It was fancy talk for press releases! The same thing I was doing FOR FREE. I couldn't be happier that you have left. Unfortunately you do not have the class to exit gracefully after selling and instead choose to troll and FUD your way down as much as possible as evidenced by this embarrassing topic. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Peercoin did not need a single person promoting them to take them where they are now. Everything you have said and done has your real life name attached to it; that is your reputation. Good luck with your future endeavours and sorting your mental issues out. |

Plus, MyWl.lt is 100% anonymous and will never be connected to fiat so you won't be losing your coins when the site is mysteriously locked down due to a legal dispute. What's your full name? Who are you? Why should people dump all their coins into some random website run by someone anonymous? You've set up a company to handle this venture right? |

I haven't been that impressed with private discussions I've had with key people in this community either (under this and other aliases).
my emphasis... And in this statement you prove your trustworthiness alone. Very low in my opinion. You're openly admitting to dishonesty, as a result anything further you type fades into insignificance. It seems a theme with many of the detractors here. While I completely agree that maarx used inappropriate language, as does he you may have noted, you set your entire stall out with that simple line. . This is just another example of what I am talking about. I make valid points and get shot down as being dishonest, low etc by another foundation member? I'm glad you ignored everything relevant in what I wrote and focused on something insignificant that you can try and twist to make me look bad (read: sarcasm). Except ironically, even that you've messed up because you're interpreting that as me having multiple accounts on here - I do not. I simply use different aliases across the internet and I make no secret of it whether I am on reddit, here, irc or somewhere else. I've made no secret on reddit that I am mr_random here for example. However, in the context of what I've written it's simply irrelevant. |

I have given a lot of my support to this community and that's how I get spoken to by the foundation member? I've posted literally hundreds of times here supporting Blackcoin since the price was 500 satoshis. And on other forums over the internet. I've donated to projects. Right now on r/blackcoin you can see my subreddit design attempt: http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/257yi6/subreddit_redesign_version_2_what_do_you_think/ (I setup the current one btw). In fact if I was to list everything I have done in my spare time to try and help Blackcoin (and things I am working on now) this would be a long post. And I get you telling me not to fuck things up after I tell the people having a go at you to calm down?? I have a couple of general things to tell you and everyone else connected with Blackcoin professionally: 1. You guys need to get your act together and start being more professional. I mean *everyone who is in the foundation. Dogecoin doesn't take things seriously but it also acts professionally. There is a reason why so many arguments happen in this community. Anyone associated with Blackcoin at a professional level needs to start acting maturely and not lower themselves to the standards set on an anonymous dicussion forum... I can easily list 5 basic examples where people aren't representing the brand well at all. You don't see this happening in other big coins. Quite frankly I don't like to criticise any effort designed to further Blackcoin which is why I haven't done so up until now, but since I'm being told not to fuck things up here, you now know what I think. 2. I have possession of several addresses in the Blackcoin top 10. You guys need to stop pissing off big holders because it's people like me in the next two years who will be funding projects to take us to number 2. Except you can count me as someone sitting on the sidelines now contributing nothing as you all make me richer. And I'm definitely not the only one, based on who I speak to. Anyone who reads my post history from the last year and tracks the addresses I have publicly used will know I am crypto rich in general so I'm not bothered about letting this go down to zero or up to infinity. YEA When you mine "all" suply IN 7 days then you will have ~40in 3 days... WTF all we know about that THIS WAS KNOWN from 10days before BC startedmaarx pointed that all mined coins were with transparency: -no hidden super blocks(like AC) ext.

And the Blackcoin Foundation doesn't run Blackcoin.
The only person anyone should potentially be mad at is Wizfarm.
I do agree to a point but why would Maarx's stand behind him and being that he is a bcpool admin which means he talks to all the admins do they feel the same way. Im an investor and miner myself and feeling like things are not what they are suppose to be or what is portrayed. As far as I can tell Maarx hasn't spoken to Wiz yet. Give the guys a chance to talk. |

Yeah I am mad at him. I have a problem with him hosting Blackcast. You going to state he should? If so tell us why? as share holders we want a good reason why he is the one that will host blackcast. also who are you to step in? tell us what you hold and why you think you have the right to step in front of other share holders and agree its okay for him to host? If you do not agree it is okay . then why are you posting at all? You need to calm down, you sound like a child throwing a temper tantrum I'm telling people not to direct their anger at Maarx, he is not responsible for the actions of someone else. Let Maarx speak to Wiz and then take it from there. Who am I to step in? This is a discussion forum if you hadn't noticed and I am welcome to share my thoughts just as much as you are. This will get resolved one way or another. Stop panicking and running around like an aggressive headless chicken and lets discuss this like adults. Getting angry with Maarx solves nothing. |

you guys should rather be worried how long it will take until he leaves CINNI for another clone after dumping on you.
I knew someone was going to make some very ignorant comments. I actually haven't slept in like days helping out this community. My life is super packed with things to do and Ive put them on hold to help here. I'm not asking for donations, I've never mined any of these coins and all I have done is invested in them. I've bought coins in the markets at their regular prices. If anyone has a problem with me helping the community and or me investing in cinni then you got to check yourself. People can buy and hold any coin they want and they can also help people. Crypto is not about 1 coin is about advancing the entire ecosystem of crypto. This is the reason rat4 lend his hand to help cinni with their wallet. I really don't appreciate people spreading Fud not knowing with full details what is really going on. I will help this community out along as I can. I wish nothing but good on people in general and I hope people measure there words before saying any random things against people. -damm and he pumped...i knew it. Barabbas has been my strongest critic and he called me Hitler once. I do not agree with half the stuff he writes, but I do not delete his posts because debate is good and I always said that. What I dislike is when people start personally attacking others and use FUD as fact against that person's character.
I can tell you as I am less active and I just mostly observe, I see many people are just "wishing" and "hoping" instead of using their commonsense. Sometimes the answer is right in front of you if you just dare to look.
I have proven myself time and time again as being an honest and on the level guy. I recently posted pics of the makeshift card factory setup in my home, and the people who were posting FUD about the cards have magically vanished. However, not one person said.."hey since Iconic has been honest about everything he promised, why would he lie about the group manipulating the prices"? When I said I have over 2 million coins most people didn't even question if I was lying because they believed it to be true, but I am lying about the manipulation? Why would I lie about something that would surely affect the price of BC and in turn affect my portfolio? What would I have gained by lying about the group?
Sometimes it is hard to face the truth so people lash out at the person delivering the bad news because it is much easier to deny it than accept it. That is life both online and offline.
So what do I think about the future of BC? Well...lets put aside the group manipulation for a second.
Gritt is a ticking time bomb and he will show his true colors soon. The guy tried to manufacture and "give away" his own BlackCoin cards before I got the first batch from the factory. I can spot a snake a mile away and Gritt is a snake.
SoepKip is just waiting until BC gets to a certain level to cash out. Right now he is happy and excited to be doing something important with his life, but eventually he will get bored and once he is faced with over $100,000+ he will cash-out. He wont stick around long after that.
Maarx is a good kid with a future and I respect him for his honesty. He is a stand-up kid in my book, but he is is a bit naive about what is going on behind the scenes. He will probably be the first to leave when the sh!t hits the fan.
rat4 has no clue what is going on. He doesn't understand English very well and he is your typical coder...just focused on the technology. He is not interested in the business end and he will not have any effect on BC either way.
So what is my point? BC cannot succeed with this team... I do not care how many partnerships are established or how supportive the community is, without a strong experienced team BC will eventually fail.
Who are you to say what effect rat4 will have on BC or what Soepkip will do in the future? Stop bashing everyone and acting like you are god and everyone is stupid. You come off as bitter. Since you are for some reason convinced that BC needs a strong experienced team or it will fail (lol), why don't you sell your holdings and stop complaining about everything? You act like you are a PR genius but you've caused more damage to the reputation of BC than anyone imo. |

I will consider investing in this project when there is proof. NXT at least had some things working when funds were being raised.
Since the OP is leaving the IPO open as long as he wants, there is no logical reason not to show proof. Either he shows proof, gets more IPO investment and still gets his 20% cut. Or he shows no proof, gets much less IPO investment than he would otherwise and still gets his 20% cut. Therefore myself and others are naturally averse to putting money into this.

Right, small update.
How about:
Say a yearly membership fee is $25. This will give everyone who is a member 1 vote. Extra votes can be bought for $25 per year. That way, larger holders, who are equally a holder as a small holder is, do have a chance to increase their voting power, but by doing so, they increase the foundation's financial supporting power on projects.
Anything you choose, people are going to complain about. Especially in this community, which seems to attract argumentative people. If you want my opinion, scrap the whole voting thing entirely. It's going to cause more arguments than it's worth and it will never please everyone. Let people vote by whether they donate to projects. |

Regardless of this debate... the final outcome will more than likely be 1 person = 1 vote. If not, people won't use the foundation as a means of driving the direction of the coin. History will just repeat itself and the coin will once again go into the hands of the people.
The foundation is a smart group.. they won't allow just a few to have more pull over the masses. So I'm glad of that.
Why do you think in the running of multimillion dollar businesses on the stock market people who are the biggest shareholders have more of a say? Just curious what you think about that. Or do you think every shareholder in a business should be equal? Businesses are not decentralized in the least. They are totally centralized, with the board of directors and CEOs making all of the decisions. Shareholders vote for the board members, based on how many shares they have (and also for big resolutions, etc) That isn't decentralized, and this isn't a pulblicly traded business. Also, the foundation is not even similar to the board of directors of blackcoin (not in name, and not in function) I dont know why apples are being compared to orangutans here, but they are. I disagree but I don't want to argue. Imo it's comparing Blackcoin to voting for some democratic goverment election which is absurd. |
