To be fair I understand everything from a pure investor and investment point of view. Just Bitcoin would be missing out on potential profits.

You spelled "losses" wrong there.

Well, there's a lot going on with the chain: Blockchain.info is reporting 3,000 tps.

Summary    Status:Connected
Total Fees    270.12662831 BTC
Total Size    1646533.03 (KB)
Transactions Per Second    3000.71

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/unconfirmed-transactions

Even if their math is crocked, this is way higher than the normal 3-15 tps.

I wonder why Putin said "EU army is a good idea, it makes sense"...

maybe to seperate NATO members?
Probably he saw the results from the Norwegian navy.

Failboat.

It's a capacitor, and based on the location, size, and big connection to the ground plane I'm guessing it's a filter/noise capacitor and not a part of the RC current sensing system. If you're good with a soldering iron and some chip-quik I'd say try removing it, then see if the board works. If it does replace it with a 3.3-4.7uf capacitor, that should provide enough filtering to reduce noise on the board.

BORING.

Eh we'll be back at 6502 soon enough.

So when will they enable MFA with Authy or something on this forum? Password only security is a joke these days.

You need more merit then, sent.

For most alcoholics...the answer is usually zero.

That is true, I forgot the key difference between drunks and alcoholics:

Alcoholics go to meetings.

I was married to an alcoholic and the best explanation I found for it was this...

This is really interesting Elwar, thanks for writing it. In my case the alcoholic gene hit my grandmother (drank beer only), dad (bad), missed me and hit my sister. I'm a pretty big guy, but when I was drinking with my sister before a wedding I was downing beers while she was downing the same amount of gin and she still managed to drink me under a table (I can drink a bunch of college students under the table, but that's more fluid dynamics).

I consider the definition of an alcoholic to ask them how much booze is in the house. If you ask me there's a couple of beers in the fridge and I think a bit of fireball in the back of the cabinet. Ask my sister and you will get an EXACT count down to the state of each bottle. That is pretty wild.

Personally I have stopped almost completely. Not because I was addicted but I have realized that I may be rich enough in my old age to be able to afford the life extension treatments that most will not have access to. But I don't want to be old and falling apart when that happens so I'm trying to choose a healthy lifestyle. Alcohol adds nothing positive to your body and for me was always something I used as a crutch to socialize better. But fuck that, I'd rather live for 100s of years than be the life of the party.

*nod* I rarely drink myself (maybe a beer a month?) but I do want everything in my body to fall apart at exactly the same moment when I die. That way I can say I got 100% use out of the thing and didn't leave behind unused lungs, heart, or liver capacity. So I really should be drinking more and start smoking again...

Which drives my doctor nuts.

Why is the EU trying to prevent the airplanes of one nation entering its countries? Perhaps more countries should refuse to fly there if they are excluding national aviation authorities. Such sanctions should not be tolerated internationally.

The EU is perfectly within their rights to enforce littering laws. Planes can make a mess when they crash in your yard or shed parts.

Very on-topic post: I know how much you guys love sports, so here's a highlight reel of this weekend's competitive olympic handball action.

Oh ok. I've read back a few pages it looks like we have all simply gone insane.

Fair enough.

 Care to join us?

I must resist, or I will go totally and completely insane....

Too late.

Don't quote him dude, that just fills up screens.

Still at 6500 or so, we are obviously bored to tears.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hacking KNC Titan / Jupiter / Neptune miners back to life. Why not? on: October 22, 2018, 02:25:31 AM
Well, hm. So you copied the lightfoot code (not the KNC code for a Titan) onto an 8gb or better SD card, popped it in the BBB, and powered up, and it doesn't boot?

One flaw in my code is that the button reset will screw everything up because I never put that in. Need more donations to make something like that happen :-)
