2001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: March 26, 2017, 03:15:07 PM
In altcoin trading,is day trading profitable or trading on a long term basis?
When talking about the long term basis i choose ico where there are chance that ico can pump when it launch in the market exchange short term of trading can be profitable too depends on the potencial of the altcoin that you choose.
Usually ICO will run for long term ? I guess some altcoin devs ran it up to 10 weeks not more than that I never heard. During ICO also you may sell to other forum members but buying at nearly days would be the catch to make profit with ICO.

It seems a good idea to make quick profits but I'm not finding it is a kind of day trading. Still it is a good way of making profits indirectly trading altcoins yes in ICO itself.
2002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Seuntjie' Dice bot programmers mode discussion. on: March 26, 2017, 01:10:07 PM
Hi guys, congrats to us all for the wonderful forum.

Now first and foremost also like to thank Seuntjie for the WONDERFUL tool and programming language (already donated my friend Smiley ) that enable me to streak 200000 bets (more than 24 hours)  in a row without loosing my bankroll.

The trick has Seuntjie stated is to low bet with high bankroll. The marvelous part of Seuntjie's bot is that one can make a strategy based on prebetting and then fish for the long loosing strike.

I've programmed a version of one of Seuntjie's script that basically I can leave running for days and have a very low probability of loosing (about 0.84% in a 500 bet streak) My script can make profits of 60/70% of current balance and withstand 100+ loosing strikes. Slowly but surely, I've been getting steady profits and IT WORKS on the long run, despite the house edge (and what other people say).

There is always a way to beat the house edge, its mathematical. Of course that using simple Martingale strategies and Labouchère on the long run you will ALWAYS loose. Even with high bank roll the math does not play in our favor.

I've taken few hours in making the math and fine-tuning the script but it has guaranteed results. Now I'm not trying to sell anything here with this post but also please don't ask to give the script for free since I lost about 1.5 BTC in fine-tuning it... Sad Investigate, loose money yourself - I'm the living proof that IT WORKS.

This post is just a testimony that house does not always win and IT IS possible to win while sleeping on the long run!

Seuntjie - you're a God. Congrats for the marvelous tool.

If you are not trying to sell something and tell that you are not giving away anything for free… Isn’t that simple means “pm me about the price of the script” ?
If you are not giving it away for free and if you are promoting it, showing results etc. That means you are selling it. You just didn’t put a price on it.
2003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: March 26, 2017, 09:29:01 AM
since gamblers are prone to more losses rather than winnings and we only win huge if we just hit the jackpot price
But to stay as successful gambler we must have more wins than how many times we do lose. Unfortunately there will be no control over win and loss in gambling still gambling without control will make anyone to quit after some time due to insufficient funds for continuing gambling. But gamblers will not prefer quitting and they go for loans just to continue their gambling.

Even losses are happening commonly in gambling, losses might create life threatening problems. Keeping gambling in limit would be the way for how to gamble regardless of how much we win or lose.
2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 26, 2017, 08:59:19 AM
India are currently looking good batting so far only losing the 1 wicket for 64 runs. The danger man Pujara is in and batting well and if he can stay there for the next 2 sessions then i think India will pass 300 runs and maybe even post a big total like they did in the last test match and then it will be very hard for Australia to safe the game as there will most likely be a lot of time left for India to win. Australia need some quick wickets to put the pressure back on India.
I have bets going on, on Pujara and Rahul to complete their half centuries. I think its highly likely that they do so. They are batting with control and can easily make 150 runs partnership between the two. The runrate is going to take a hit but thats not of much importance right now. Odds on India to win is reducing now.

Rahul lost his wicket at 60 so your one bet is won as he has hit half centuries. If indian batsman bat good and give score above 500+ then they can put pressure on Australia in second Innings by taking wickets soon. Pace bowlers are getting much turn which they can utilize and take wicket if today India play with just loosing only 4 wickets and make score above 300+ then Australia will come under pressure.
In one thought, I just worry again this test match also heading toward draw ? India's run rate is very slow and if they repeat what they have done in third test match then definitely we cannot expect any result.

Hopefully India will accelerate run rate with spin bowlers. If spin bowlers also come and test the passion of batsmen, I am sorry we cannot expect any result. Then series also may end in 1-1 which might be very good achievement for Australia.
2005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 26, 2017, 06:12:11 AM
Yes, trading is gambling since you take chances with the commodities or currencies market. You can loose everything and gain everything just as in hard core gambling so I will classify it as gambling too.

There is a vast difference between trading and gambling and cannot be treated as same as gambling is totally dependent on luck and no strategy can help you in winning or making profits but in trading if you have a good knowledge about the market and if you have a good strategy then there is always a chance of making decent profits on regular basis.
No. There are strategies for gambling, but will work for experienced gamblers and not for each and every gambler. But in trading the strategies will work for all the traders to get them profits. This maybe the significant differences between trading and gambling and misunderstanding about this, makes people to consider trading as gambling.

Trading could become gambling but proper knowledge will safeguard us to trade in profitable way.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ANY STRATEGY TO WIN IN GAMBLING? on: March 26, 2017, 04:02:22 AM
hello guys,
is there any proven strategy to win at least $5 daily?
NO martingale rule please.
Earning 5$ daily has no assurance that you can it in the gambling. Due to every time you do gamble your not sure 100% if your gonna win in every round of the game. Just like what everybody said here there's no passive income on gambling online Wink
Wouldn’t that be lovely tough Cheesy Just making $5 everyday, on something volatile like gambling to say the least Cheesy The only possible way I can think of is that if you are wealthy and have tens of thousands of dollars laying around for fun, you can make $5 by betting on something and if you lose you can bet more and more until you make $5, if you have tens of thousands to not go bankrupt you may do that, tough even with that way you may lose all one day.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling get you into Bitcoin or did Bitcoin get you into gambling? on: March 25, 2017, 04:12:04 PM
I am just curios how it started for you....

Did gambling get you into Bitcoin? Or did Bitcoin get you into gambling?
Yes, bitcoin get me into gambling but I'm the one who became curious about it because when I started to played in gambling site I enjoyed it and gave relaxation every time I had a problem.
Same for me. I started bitcoin first, I learned about it too late, back in the days when you can barely make any bitcoins from your computer. I made about 0.02 bitcoin with mining from my laptop (oh it feels so long ago Cheesy ) but it was ended so quickly when ASIC miners come out, I used that coins to gamble and win more. I never gambled before in my life until I met with bitcoin, it was so easy, so quick, I was so naive. Of course I lost it all.
2008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2017, 03:58:50 PM
If the Chinese miners were unified and collaborative in their approach, then they could theoretically gain control over the blockchain and thus Bitcoin.

However, in the real world what would probably happen is the core devs would code and release an update that would checkpoint the Chinese 'attack' and return control of the chain back to the economic majority (aka banks/coinbase/blockstream)

I don't quite understand what you mean by "economic majority"

Care to explain? Apart from that, we don't know how many Chinese miners the Chinese pools actually consist of. Some of them are obviously not mining pools but rather mining farms and those the Chinese government can indeed take control over. But if the pools are actually made up from many individual miners, these miners could potentially withdraw their mining resources from the pools, thereby essentially rendering them impotent. Personally, I'm more inclined to think that the rumors of the Chinese government preparing a 51% attack against Bitcoin network are just another round of FUD. At first, it was the Winklevoss FUD, then the BU FUD, and now the 51% attack FUD
Most of the Chinese bitcoin pools consist of companies who are establishing and dumping a lot of money into servers and mining farms and as it is proving to be very profitable since the kwh costs only 8 cents in china more and more companies regular people invest into it, so it I s not surprising to find that the Chinese dominate the bitcoin mining market and if anything happens to that concept like change in the electricity price than we will see effects on the bitcoin exchanges.
2009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: March 25, 2017, 03:19:17 PM
I too was making an earning from faucets in the starting and later on realized the potential of the currency. When I started it was around $300 and now it has grown high than expected. I trusted in it and travelled along with it, though people around me put forth negative statements regarding bitcoin.

Yeah. Most of us who have been using Bitcoin for quite some time, have seen its price levels between the $250 - $300 USD range. It was a perfect opportunity to invest into Bitcoin, as nowadays it became a very popular cryptocurrency gaining more interest from the masses each day. If I knew by then, that Bitcoin's price would reach levels of $1000 and beyond (after the Mt. Gox event), then I would've placed most of my money into the pioneer cryptocurrency.

In my early days, I believed that I was earning a good amount of money via faucets, but as I matured in the crypto world, I've that I had to look out for other ways to make good money with Bitcoin.

Nevertheless, I'm hope to learn more about Bitcoin each day, and become an expert in it.  Grin
For everyone here and all who are new to bitcoin have started same like earning from faucets and just storing them, they went from earning 0.1$ to 1$ to 10$ to even more and we always went more that is our nature, we are just hoping to improve with each time we earn money, but people get too greedy and start trying to get it the easy fast way like gambling, so as long as you are patient keep on going.
2010  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: March 25, 2017, 01:37:29 PM
many of my friends did not work but a lot of money away was great when compared, to me that is still working in the factory, I was confused from where producer obtained from bitcoin?
The future of bitcoin is really great when you are unemployed then there is the way to earn money which is bitcoin. when i discovered bitcoin there are things that changes in my life the way how i act and how to earned and to saved then for the future references.

Yes!, this is how bitcoin help us, the financial shortage. Even you are not employed, just a some skills to render some services to people around here. Anyway if you are into computer system, for sure you can earn more coins online using that skills.
From where I come from the amount that I make from simple work on the internet and making bitcoin is far higher than the amount that an average employee gets monthly which his pretty cool for me, and that is the best thing about bitcoin because it opens up a lot of possibilities for us to make money even if you don’t have the requirements to get work out there in the open world.
2011  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: March 25, 2017, 01:09:36 PM
Well everything have risk, if you want to earn steadily,Ithink that the best way of making steady income is to participate in signature campaigns or just buy a lot of bitcoins and wait

yeah signature campaign will provide steady income every week but by buying and holding bitcoin it will not provide a steady income because you will not know when you sell and make profits

More people, and it looks like the competition on the signature campaign are really strict. But give your effort to offer your skill to the buyer is the best thing to get the steady income. Just try to do some jobs.
It is actually really good to see the forum applying some serious rules against spamming, for a long time you could just make an account and just get into a signature campaign and earn weekly revenue by just spamming posts everywhere, now they require more quality and higher account ranks to stop plebs from spamming all day.
2012  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: March 23, 2017, 03:19:10 PM
Yes it is. For a worldwide economy, it is the solution. No need for exchanges, and send funds instantly wherever. The many different cryptocurrencies, makes us have a different view of money. Till now, must of us were used to one kind of currency that we use in our everyday lives. Only financial markets traders, had a view where they could use many different currencies. With cryptocurrency, anyone can use one or more of the available cryptocurrencies, as they choose.
Though I agree with all the points you mentioned but actually more and more countries are taking strict steps to minimize the use of bitcoins rightly so because they are being fooled by people by keeping money in bitcoins. I think if somehow bitcoin community can make sure that people don't do things like laundering or illegal transactions then even the governments will welcome bitcoins.
2013  Economy / Services / Re: need team with me to post in bitcoins forum and share money together on: March 19, 2017, 03:25:47 PM
I believe you need to post this under service section. Also if it is possible please mention how much profit share one forum poster could expect and how much time we need to spend on daily basis.

I am also willing to join there but not sure my schedule will permit beyond this forum. However higher remuneration will push anyone to schedule accordingly, then why not myself.
2014  Economy / Speculation / Re: the recent drop could be a trap 2017/3/19. on: March 19, 2017, 03:08:08 PM
i would think that the drop from $1100 yesterday to as of this thread is started $950, is a trap for sellers because looking at its popularity, it is not the first time bitcoin being volatile. unless bitcoin price drops to ~$850 within a day, it could be unnecessary to sell your bitcoins for some of the people will buy again.
what is Bitcoin Unlimited though? Huh

Do you have any idea what is the reason behind this hard crash?? It's really bad seeing bitcoin in this stage to lose it's "$1000 bottom", the crash of -$310 within few days is drastic and it's really for panic, I'm afraid that the price will not be stable even in the upcoming weeks and who knows what's the next bottom price for bitcoin, too much panic, for real.

Its so afraid. Value is lower than 1000$ now. I do not if this crash continues in upcoming days. Trading will affect a lot than other btc commodities. It was been stable rise from the end of January but now become volatile again.
As we cannot expect only up surge all the times, now we are seeing volatility of bitcoin markets. This sudden fall is just due to we are going to another altcoin but it is a hard fork derivation of our beloved bitcoin.

I guess we need not to worry about anything this sudden price fall and hard fork. We are going to have a test phase with this new altcoin BTU like how bigger blocks will be working. Hopefully we can get implemented those changes into bitcoin core too after evaluating tests.
2015  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back up! (again) on: March 19, 2017, 01:02:12 PM
you true this now is good time to buy bitcoin again
but i think is good wait until issue about bitcoin unlimited clrear, because without issue clrear bitcoin price can down again

When the Bitcoin Unlimited price does clear, the price will sky rocket again. You will lose out to people who took a bit of risk and bought bitcoins now. You won't get another chance to buy at these prices again, unless there is a hard fork.
This sudden fall was most probably triggered by rumors on activation of bitcoin unlimited. But investors again showed their faith on bitcoin ecosystem to get into action to buy back so that prices are staying around $1000 level so strongly. I do believe there will not be any chances for ever to buy at this price levels if we refuse to make use of this fall down.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 19, 2017, 08:15:34 AM
if all goverment from around the world is banned btc , mostly impossible
yes i do not think that a single country is going to bane bitcoin because bitcoin is now so much popular that government is now compel to make bitcoin legalize.
You can not know whether a person is using Bitcoin or not because Satoshi developed the blockchain and the anonymity for it. Therefore, if the government ban Bitcoin, the people still know how to use it without being arrested
That is true, as long as bitcoin is not banned worldwide people will still use it without getting into trouble, however some jurisdictions like in Russia and Argentina severely restrict or ban foreign currencies, and in others like in Thailand limit the licensing of certain entities such as Bitcoin exchanges, which means even if you manage to use bitcoin in those countries and exchange it to fiat you will be breaking the law, and imagine if that was worldwide it will be a big hit to the knee for the bitcoin.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Things I Learned as A Bitcoin Holder on: March 19, 2017, 07:49:29 AM
I have learned many things will holding bitcoins
1. Patience is everything, even though at some cases panic selling occurs we shouldn't worry as it happens
2. Ignore altcoins, as we currently see altcoins are creating chaos and many people are telling bitcoin is over ignore them just stick with bitcoin.
3. Stay away from gambling and there bankroll.
altcoin is the best field and you can easily double your bitcoin thanks to them. To traders, altcoin is one of the tools which help them to earn success in life and make income almost everyday
I agree, altcoins are just substitute for the bitcoin, since the bitcoin mining became harder and not profitable, miners prefer altcoins. Also altcoins have become the most exciting markets for traders today, they are volatile, fast, paced markets in which a lot of money can be made in a short space of time, however this is a high risky activity to get involved in, but also it has a lot of potential.

But I am still say I am a proud bitcoin HODLER, altcoins are seasonal, come and go in same pace and manner. But bitcoin is for living.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: March 19, 2017, 07:01:07 AM
If you think that superstition will help you in gambling I suggest you stop immediately and don't gamble at all. These so called premonitions have made people lose millions of dollars in casinos. I have seen in person in a casino where a couple of middle age 40-50 years were saying this will be our lucky spin and they kept losing until they lose all of their money. The sum were about 17.500 dollars if I remember correctly. Superstition is only a way to lie to yourself and cannot help anyone in gambling.
Believing superstitions is good but to an extent, I mean if you just gamble all your money because some "pundits" ask you to.

You should use your own brain and intelligence to determine whether it's worth to bet on that.
I have seen a lot of pundits in my county who even have an accurancy of 90% in sports betting, but actually they themselves are not in profits overall so how they can help you ?
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest me some good gambling site on: March 19, 2017, 06:32:04 AM
I am ready to invest in gambling site, just need a good paying site.

No Bro I Don't Prefer You to Gamble in Sites Because It depends Upon Your Luck and it Is  Not a Investment.....
And Many Trusted Sites Turn Into Scam When They Got Some Trust and the  Users Remain With No Capital.....
Yes, when I first read that statement I was also unhappy because considering gambling as a investment is risky since you would just keep filling the ever empty pockets of the owner.

All the dice sites right now are good as you can see in the signature areas. Moreover whenever you visit any site or decide to gamble there please check it's thread in the gambling section to make sure things are fine.
2020  Economy / Economics / Re: How much are you willing to pay in fees for a Bitcoin transaction? on: March 18, 2017, 08:35:23 PM
This poll came as an idea from a news post: Almost $1 Billion Worth of Bitcoins Stuck in Transaction Backlog - link here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777803.0

[ b]How much are you willing to pay on daily basis in fees for a Bitcoin transaction that is cleared within 10 minutes? (1 block)

I hid the poll results until you voted so it's not biased - I'm really curious about this one - I ruled out "free" as I don't think it's possible anymore - no matter how big the block size is. Also I don't think anyone is willing to accept fees over $10 - it will be more expensive than the bank fees, so I made it 10+ USD.

Please vote and explain below why you voted the way you voted.

Thank you.

Transaction fee in the blockchain was most of the time is the main problem of the bitcoin enthusiast at the present now, because the fee is so high. So regarding which amount I agreed in terms of transaction  fees.
People should understand that the bitcoin transaction fees is something that we can’t run from, not as long as the bitcoin is hard to mine and gets harder with every halving, and with the increasing number of people using it, but this doesn’t mean that I agree on the fact that fees should be increasing, even after paying fees the transactions are still slow which means it is no better that bank transfers.
