1281  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 11, 2017, 03:59:09 AM
If we have a world can accept Bitcoin as a digital currency without controller or manager, I think the world can be worst. Because the crime will take advantage the Bitcoin system for their transaction, the student will become to investor because the profitable of Bitcoin made them interested and quit school...
I really do hate it when we attribute crime to bitcoin so much like bitcoin brought crime with it. Crime has always been existing even with controls. Even the government who has always been in control are the ones majorly contributing to most of the criminal activities going on, so what are we saying ?

Sure, if bitcoin is regulated, it would limit crime, but does that mean people will not still find a way like they always have been finding a way even with fiats? They definitely will. We need to focus more on the good side of it than the bad side which to me is being too exaggerated.
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: November 10, 2017, 03:58:42 PM
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now Smiley
I can’t understand this example but what I get out of it is to make your investments useable right now. You are not late as there is a saying, “it is never too late”. Time comes and go and things are just disappeared but the scenario is almost different in bitcoin case. You need to work hard and prices are going up. So ultimate profit for you in all cases. Better not to wait, buy now.
It really takes a lot of hard work and being smart, and regarding the tree planting he mentioned, he is just more like saying you can get in at anytime and still have some growth at the end. If it does not increase in value, at least you will still have a usefulness for it. That is just the way bitcoin would end up working eventually and those who are even joining today are joining at just the right time.
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has gone beyond gold prices on: November 08, 2017, 08:25:47 AM
This is been the case for a long, long time. It surpassed gold prices back in 2014, I believe. And gold is not even $2,000/ounce right now. hahaha!
When it comes to gaining profit, most of us will be preferable for bitcoin. Gold is considered as very valuable thing before, but when bitcoin exsist- I can say its the end of gold era. Is just a choice of everyone that make bitcoin become valuable today. Because of it's volatility character makes people to choice bitcoin as they're big chances of earning high compared to gold.
LOL. Well, that is human nature for you. We flock towards the preferable things or a much more better option faster than you can imagine. Who would not? Sure, gold still remains valuable and it has been a huge asset from the onset, but considering the amount of profit you get and the value that bitcoin gives to people, no one would not want to invest in it.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TIO TOKEN from TIO TOUR GUIDES JUST GOT LISTED ON ETHERDELTA BUY OR NOT? on: November 05, 2017, 07:34:06 PM
Asides the project idea, the team dedication was what really made me fall in love with this project and if there is a serious team behind a project, it is always hard to not see such a project end up being a success. These guys made so many marketing activities that are unique and then like you said, never really got too much as the cap was 500 ETH.

These guys are working pretty well to make the project and the coin a standard and even more relevant and I am sure, this is a decision I will never regret as an Investor.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Electroneum bigger and better than Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2017, 07:06:13 PM
Bitcoin is and always will be in first place. Maybe the majority of Americans don't know what Bitcoin is but it does not change anything. Bitcoin is the most sure and safe coin and it will not change quickly
That advantage of being the first will always be there. The support will always be there, and the global adoption will always be there. Who really knows electroneum that just started in a few days which has not even started competing yet with the top 100 coins wanting to compete with bitcoin.

If it can stay more relevant than Bitcoin and achieve in few minutes what bitcoin has achieved in years, then I guess we just wait and see.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Calm the F $%K Down People, Lets Help The NOOBs Out. on: November 05, 2017, 06:38:19 PM
Bitcoin rally make altcoin bleeding
but not all alt going down hardly, a few altcoin still growing, because of their believer and good community
Some altcoins still have support but how long they will keep having that is what we can't say.

Most of them are not just pretty much affected as they are just experiencing just some few dips unlike some alts that have gone pretty bad to as low as more than 100% decrease from their point before the BTG fork. It has been a crazy moment and the best right now is just to calm down and just keep watching as events unfold.
1287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: November 05, 2017, 05:42:12 PM
I know that the biggest profits were made by long-term investments. HODL i mean. Conclusions do it yourself.
Straight to the point conclusion, just do it yourself. I have always prefer long term anyway than day trading and it has worked pretty much for me so far. I still make use of the normal strategies I have and I look for the perfect moment to buy in which to me seems like the best.

Still, too much time on trading sometimes can always affect your level of thinking as you get so stressed out at the end, I am relating that to day trading though but just setting orders and just leaving the platform to do its thing at the end seems more to me like a better way.
1288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 0.03 BTC to 3 BTC Challenge on: November 05, 2017, 05:27:05 PM
0.03 btc to 3 btc? that is possible but man how long you gonna do it? the 2 chances are you will lose everything and the second is that you will never get too far away from your initial btc.

are you gonna make it to happen for 5 or upto 10 years?
I guess that is why it is a challenge. I am simply sure OP knows what he is getting into and he must have been prepared. How long this is going to end up being is left to those who would want to follow the thread and see how far he goes and how far he himself would be willing to go to get to that stage if he does not get tired or weary along the line.

I am eagerly watching out to see what ends up happening though.
1289  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: November 05, 2017, 02:20:42 PM
Bitcoin has been defying every odd and it's popularity is soaring higher globally therefore bitcoin has come to stay it will not die.
Obviously it would keep defying those odds in so many years to come, there is just no doubt about that and we will keep counting the number of times so many people have declared bitcoin dead in the long run. I remember in 2010 when people said bitcoin will never amount to anything and would end up dead before 2012.

Even after the huge crah, so many people said bitcoin is finished while they dumped and allowed the big guys to even buy in the more. We will just have to wait and see this particular topic in the next 100 years being replied by our great grandchildren that bitcoin is so much still alive even while we are gone.
1290  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 05, 2017, 08:10:01 AM
I know they do. Those billionaires are expert when it comes to financial aspects and btc would be a good way to multiply their wealths. They must be hoarding a lot of btc right now and going to dump it when the btc reached $10k.
Even if they are not experts, they seek experts advise, not just only one advise but so many and then weight their options based on those advice. They are investors and they have always known how to take risk and opportunities since it looks more of a viable option to them. Billionaires are surely into this and even if they are not much, most will surely get in at some point.
1291  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Exposed? on: November 05, 2017, 07:20:31 AM
Bitcoin is now on so much exposure in public. Many of them are still curious about it. For me bitcoin is not a scam its some of the users who use bitcoin in scamming thats why many are not satisfy on the proofs that bitcoin is not scam coz many are still the victim of it while using bitcoin.
We cant stop them and we cannot blame bitcoin because this is not their fault, so the only thing that we should do is make or keep our accounts in private and as much as possible read a lot of details about bitcoin to avoid scam.
Yes. Just like in real life, even if you hold money and then a thief attacks you.

Will you say the money you are holding is a scam ?
If you invest a certain amount of cash in a company that promises to give you something at the end which is not even related to bitcoin, will you then because of that say the money you invested is the scam ?

We just need to be careful, most especially when it has to do with security of our assets. You cannot be careless and expect a thief not to steal from you.
1292  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: November 05, 2017, 03:51:13 AM
Not crash but replace, there is a small chance that it will ever be replaced with another form of payment but never in my opinion will be destroyed in itself.
Yes the cash will be replace soon because people around the globe are now asking for the new currency that can be used all over the world and more beneficial for them also and bitcoin is here so don’t worry if cash got replace there is bitcoin that will replace it and it is more benefiting as compare to paper money because it give a lot of profit to its owner on daily basis and it allows to use it as investment and payment,
How many people are asking for the new currency ?
If you take a look at the population of those adopting the digital currency today, it is still relatively small and even in future, not everyone would still accept to use it. That is one thing we have to know.

Most countries are still challenged with access to internet, also, where do you want to leave the poor ones in the picture ? To die of hunger ? Fiat will still stay relevant whether we like it or not, about fiat crashing though, only time can tell.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: November 04, 2017, 07:33:17 PM
gambling help my life from getting profit to use on my some financial needs. but dont defend on gambling at all time.
Maybe, but the profit we only get if we are lucky, and lucky is very hard to come to us. Even if you're more often unlucky than lucky, then the profit you get when you're lucky does not mean anything. It's too hard for us to expect help with gambling, even for financial problems.
Profit can even only be attributed to investments and gambling is more like a win than a profit. It is an unexpected event and basically on luck. It is when you invest you expect that at least if done well, you can make some profit from your investment, but gambling is totally different cause you need to understand that there are just two equal chances which is either you lose all or you win more.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: November 04, 2017, 06:59:32 PM
Both take risks but I chose trade only because in trading the earning is slow but steady and will usually have more chances of turning a long-term profit.
Earning can be slow and steady too in gambling and you can decide to not play a very high bet. All the above, you cannot compare the risk between the two to be the same.

With trading, you can easily be sure of making some pretty good decisions knowing how to do some analysis or judging from the market. However, with gambling, there is nothing you can do than to keep guessing blindly or just keep relying on your luck every time.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: November 04, 2017, 06:35:49 PM
giving up from gambling is not easy. yes for me the main reason not to gamble because I'm addicted to gambling especially when you have money gambling you can not avoid because I thought I'd win a big money.the gambling hobby is bad so the  ineed my family some advice is to stop gambling so I stop gambling for good reason.
The mindset is always the problem that helps people to make the decision of giving up or not. Most people always have the mindset of having an income and pretty big one from getting lucky in gambling and then they get so addicted to it even while losing expecting to recover what they must have lost.

Addiction is a crazy thing and has destroyed the lives of so many, so like you said, it is better to find those good reasons and stop once and for all, and if it is difficult to stop by oneself, at least, looking for help will not be difficult.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: November 04, 2017, 04:14:20 PM
Where can I create a Bitcoin Gold Address?
I want to use it for mining.
Please beware of the scammers on Twitter that do post sites where you can create a wallet!
Just make use of their official site https://btcgpu.org though it has been renamed to https://bitcoingold.org but you will be redirected anyway.
That is where you can find the list of all the wallets and exchanges accepting BTG. Anything outside that, then you should be weary and stay clear off it. Since you are creating it for mining, then you can just make use of coinomi or freewallet.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anybody all in in one altcoin? on: November 04, 2017, 02:11:28 PM
75% of my portfolio are Waves and thinking to add more.

I made a big mistake not keeping one single BTC and now it's too late.

Don't know if buy more Waves or some Monero.
It is too late to start regretting since the dumps are already pretty huge. However, most of the alts would still get pumped back any way, so it is best to hold.

You could have just waited for the other fork to come while leaving your funds in BTC and then buying the alts like waves a day before the fork and if you are fast enough few moments after the fork to get a huge profit on the pumps. Nevertheless, 75% of your portfolio being in waves is like an errorish thing to ever do.
1298  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: November 04, 2017, 01:08:40 PM
Firstly, we need to explain to investors how cool and convenient it is to use bitcoins in working with their business, where they need so little time to work with every transaction and that the time it takes to complete one transaction effectively using bitcoins rather than physical currency...but it's not so easy so far ... bitcoin is not so common ... only really far-sighted businessmen will see a good idea in this
I agree that only far sighted businessmen would see the opportunity in this and usually it would be easy for those who are already in the bitcoin world or have been for a while who understands how it works.
Even some smart businessmen may still be very skeptical if they do not understand, but as awareness keeps spreading, we would keep seeing them adopting.
1299  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - new Business Opportunities on: November 04, 2017, 10:48:52 AM
Local bitcoin exchange would be a good opportunity.

What you think about service support to little firms that want to manage payments in bitcoin or cypto ?
That’s possible and even more needed as an adaptation to this society is worth the funding.. Local bitcoin exchange in my country is stable enough and have good reputation so to compete with that you need more than a good numbers of investors but supports from all sectors but it needs great marketing and good strategical prowess..
One of the best businesses today is local exchange. Almost every person exchanges to the local currency. We can do the service and ultimately make a profit. That way then every local exchange will always be in demand by many people. I do exchange to local currency every few weeks and this is also done by many others. So we can be sure that local exchange will be a promising business.
This is one business I am really thinking of considering once I have been able to raise enough funds.

Exchanges will always be needed most especially for locales. There are so many places in dire need of more exchange and trying to breach that gap or fill that hole would go a long way. Asides that, exchanges will always be profitable as it is a service almost everyone needs.
1300  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 04, 2017, 06:00:26 AM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.

I think bitcoin will loss it's value if their is a time of Chaos like world wars in which the battle will be nuke vs nuke and we all knew that nuclear weapon is capable to wipe out everything including bitcoin. During the war it is impossible to use the bitcoin because of internet is shutdown, establishments will be destroyed and communication will be cut off by these bitcoin will be possibly zero value in which fiat and gold will be the most important like during word war I and II.
Maybe but that could be the end of our world, we should think on a more realistic reasons why bitcoin will end.
My guess is if there will be a massive ban for bitcoin then for sure people will be afraid to use it, bitcoin will stay as it's just a system but the value will surely depreciate, it rise this high because we supported it, without support, it's nothing.
Massive ban for bitcoin all over the world and the community shivering towards it would definitely cause a lot of chaos and dumps. However, what are the chances that every country in the whole world would come up together to ban bitcoin, I do not see the possibility of that.

The community, acceptance by the people is what makes bitcoin what it is today and banning it will not solve any problem as long as at the end I still find someone who is willing to do an exchange with me at the value I am holding it, makes it useful and worthy to use.
