1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is finished, etherdelta need set gas price to 60, $1+ for one transaction on: December 14, 2017, 02:56:04 PM
Transactions in etherdelta are now too expensive, and every movement we make in ED  they charge. So maybe it's time to say good bay with etherdelta , and move to another exchange.
You cannot blame EtherDelta for the Ethereum network that is congested. Etherdelta is just a decentralized exchange and without doing that, transactions will get stucked. It is just better to move to a centralized exchange for now, as that is the only way you can at least get to do your trading, without network charges and just the platform trading commissions.

But I just wonder why OP is not considering bitcoin's tx fees as optimal BTC tx fees are around $35 compared to mentioned $1 of gas for eth transactions.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin's future on: December 14, 2017, 10:46:43 AM
I will say a $500 LTC is very possible by May/June 2018.   For all the doubters and naysayers, please have a look at this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2283876.0 and re-evaluate your thought process patiently.
Extremely possible and that would be something to look forward to. Year in year out, there is no way the crypto value does not increase.

As new investors keep stepping in, and then understanding some other cryptos that would be of huge prospect, they also divert some funds into it which makes it impossible for any coin with some prospect not to grow. Litecoin has been doing well right from the onset and I would gladly just keep holding some of it until I am just tired of holding.
1163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Some Speculating Bitcoin To Crash? on: December 14, 2017, 04:15:48 AM

I could not understand why there are those who are also in Bitcoin yet are predicting that Bitcoin can go as low as $3,000 or even  $5,000 when a crash can happen soon. I am not saying that a dip -- a big dip -- will never happen but considering the things happening right now in the world of cryptocurrency, I don't believe that it can go as low as those figures.

Maybe if one day USA will decide to follow the footsteps of Japan in banning Bitcoin trading activities, then maybe it can be possible that Bitcoin can crash big time but even then it can still be able to recover fast due to people always waiting for an opportunity to buy Bitcoin cheaply.

Are you expecting Bitcoin to get so low once it crashed?
So many people missed the chance to buy at that point and they really wish it would get that low so they can get at that price. It is a crazy thing that will never happen because the market is stronger than having something like that happening. If everyone is looking for such moment, then they will grow white beards and still never get to see it. I do not expect bitcoin to get that low and if it does, then I buy more!
Count me in then if that big dip would happen, many are really hoping and waiting for the bitcoin to go down but it seems it keeps getting higher and many are speculating about the value of btc will be at $20,000 at the end of the year. Nobody expected this kind of inflation and many were surprised. The best thing to do right now is to buy even if its value is too high because btc will keep surprising us in terms of its volatility.
The market may be strong, we may be experiencing adoptions, or what we are having now are just some FOMOs who want to get rich overnight and then at the slightest possible chance of FUD, they get shaken off and then coming back to call BTC scam.

The reason why people are speculating crash now is because the market is full of greedy people who do not even understand the technology where bitcoin is centered on as well as the volatility and all they want is some quick money. That is why everyone should be concerned.

1166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting trade with small amount on: December 12, 2017, 06:22:46 PM
Find a project you believe in and invest.
This is one very good way to invest most especially with a very small amount. Unless for someone looking forward to learn trading and want to try a small amount, it does not really make much sense trading with a very little amount as that would amount to nothing much in profit in the long run with a lot of time taken in the process. However, there are some projects that when held in the long run, they can actually make some good profit.
1167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i lost 20% of my budget on: December 12, 2017, 04:23:58 PM
why are all these cryptocurrencies are going down?
keep patience and you will see the price of them again increasing. If you are talking about only bitcoin then it is only a smaller correction and because of some rumors people are selling and when they will find that the price will increase then they will again start to buy and for other altcoins I think people are putting their money in bitcoin right now and when they earn their profit then they will come back to altcoins so the price of them will again start to rise.
Patience is a lot of attribute needed to be able to successfully make good decisions in the crypto world either as holders or as traders.

It is not going to always be easy, but as long as you know what you are doing and you understand what you are investing in, then the last thing you will ever do is to be worried. In no time, a good market always gets back in shape and then you see it get pumped again.
1168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: December 12, 2017, 03:03:17 PM
yes, that is how everyone started isnt it. I know of people who invest regularly with their savings, just like regular savings plan. also people who invested with real cash, when prices rise, take out capital and just let the profit roll. with so many coins around, only invest in those with good tract records though.
I won't say everyone started that way. While some had the cash to start buying out rightly, some just had to work for it. However, looking at the population of users working to earn it, they are quite few compared to investors who are stepping in every single day.

I buy at least every month ending or whenever there is a correction and a lot of people are as well. Signature campaigns are just some means of passive income, but really they are something.
1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: When BTC will go down on: December 11, 2017, 07:14:39 PM
Hi community, now btc is more then 15500 wha do you think - when is better to sell it? when  price will go down?

Depends when you bought it. If it has doubled or more since then take your original investment out. Now no matter what you can't lose. If it rises still more sell a little more to buy some after a major correction.

Never look at the more you could have made. Look at the profit you did make.
Well, that would be effective for someone who is trading but for some who is holding and does not know how to trade, it is something I won't even bother myself about. However, it is a good suggestion, most especially for those who can know when a bull run is about to start and when the likelihood of a bearish is about to happen. With that, one can do some good trade in the process.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lightning Network was tested on mainnet today! on: December 11, 2017, 05:00:56 PM
As long as bitcoin is only looked at as a commodity and nobody is willing to spend their Bitcoin, also lightning network wont change much (besides of hype and therefore price increase). People need to remember what Bitcoins intention was when it was born. We should stop looking at Bitcoin as a commodity and start using it as a currency, then lightning network will be able to enfold its power and bring real benefits. Just my two cents, but I think this is important.
Bitcoin is being looked at as commodity now because that is exactly what it looks like. People will still spend and there would always be so much more services that would be in play in the long run which would make bitcoin even more usable. Now with the LN, micro transactions would be easy and as long as I can use bitcoin to get a cup of coffee, then tell me how we won't get better.
1171  Economy / Economics / Re: TIME FRAME TO REACH $25,000 on: December 11, 2017, 03:23:59 PM
Although we're already half way to achieve that mark ($12.5k) , it's still a long way to go, and there might be events which might occur that will affect the rise and fall of BTC price. Imagine, in just a couple of months, it already reach $10k were people most predicted it will happen before the end of December or 1st qtr. 2018. Nowadays, its really hard to predict because of its movement which is kinda gradual. As Bitcoin continue to increase its popularity and expanded its purpose, to which more people will be influenced and accept this digital currency, it might reduce the time frame needed to reach the $25k mark.
In fact, right now, we have crossed that value and from the look of things, I am pretty sure it is heading towards over $14k in value right now in the next few days. If the pace we have now keeps going on and really is as a result of a huge adoption and not just some FOMOs trying to tap in, then before the middle of next year, $25,000 is definitely possible.
1172  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we see bitcoin price 20k by jaunary 1st 2018 on: December 10, 2017, 03:34:40 AM
In my opinion bitcoin really in a bubble, which will cause a significant correction in the coming months, which will be reflected in a sharp decline. However, because of its yield, the currency will not disappear but will return to rise.
In addition, I estimate that towards 1 January 2018, the price of the currency will rise to the range of $ 21,000 to $ 20,000.
All of this indicates that we are moving towards the explosion of the bubble in the long run! I do not know how long and how significant it will be. But, in my opinion until the beginning of 2018 the currency will continue to rise significantly. As I said, I estimate that towards 1 January 2018, the price of the currency will rise to the range of $ 21,000 to $ 20,000. In the meantime, there will be a decrease of about 15% during the month.
Well, we would not know yet unless the bubble bursts. I hope we won't keep calling it a bubble until the value reaches $100k though. I am not depicting the fact that what we are seeing now could be some bubble sign and it sure really does, but no one really knows. We may just be seeing some huge level of adoption and classifying it as a bubble, but time obviously would tell.

will we see bitcoin price continue going up or will it crash?
Bro! We are extremely very close to that $20k and anything can happen even before the end of this year. So many of us were waiting for the almighty $15k by the end of the year and now we have shifted gears forward for even a higher one. Bitcoin has been highly surprising and it is definite that we can even still expect more than we can actually imagine.
1173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be late for the crash - you only get so many warnings on: December 09, 2017, 08:06:19 PM
Then it becomes all tears...
Tears for those who really want to cry or have so many tears in their eyes. Crash or no crash, which would not stop bitcoin from getting back right up later on. Sure, it is imminent the way things are going, however, I do not think it is really going to be that huge anyway the way we are all thinking. Times have changed and even if the crash ends up happening, then it is just time to buy the shit out of it.

I do not think there will be any big crashes as in last one year bitcoin showed many corrections but no crashes. So we can expect similar trend in coming months too....
1174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day? on: December 09, 2017, 07:19:20 PM
History is always strikingly similar. I think Bitcoin will collapse sooner or later.
But when does it crash? It will not be a hundred years later. So, let's not worry about it. At least for now, bitcoin is still on the rise.
Yes, history may be similar and we have experienced something like this before which usually comes with a huge correction and that is what I would classify them as. A correction and not a crash.
I wonder what people are looking for anyway. If bitcoin should remain stagnant without increasing much, a lot will start complaining and now almost everyone who missed the moment to buy at cheaper prices are looking for a crash. You wish!
1175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i buy btc now or sell? on: December 09, 2017, 06:57:06 PM
Buy when prices are low and sell when prices are high. It works just as long as we can be patient. We should be calm when the price falls because it will rise again. Provided that we have a strong capital, this can work well.
For bitcoin, yeah and sometimes you have to also be careful and watch out for some breakout movements which is where most newbie traders miss it. However, for every peak there would always be a correction, and after every correction, there should always be a rise at some point. The good thing about bitcoin is that if you miss a moment, you can get it back in another.

I will suggest you not to sell all your bitcoin. The best practice which you can do in this aspect is that you can sell few of your bitcoins and then you can re-invest that money into bitcoin again as well as you can make something productive out of that money. The rest of bitcoin, you need to keep them in your wallet as the market price of bitcoin will rise high in the coming days as well which actually means more profit.
Even in trading normally, it is not advisable to go fully in on a trade. You should always keep some back just in case so you won't miss another good entry probably on the same trade or another trade. The thing is for someone like OP, they should always have a strategy and not just trade or make decisions on trade like they are gambling. There must be a set out plan before any move at all.
1176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is better? on: December 09, 2017, 05:40:42 PM
Been on poloniex for 6mos.. but someone told me that Bittrex is better
I am thinking if I transfer my funds to Bittrex ..
The two exchanges are good but it totally depends on you. You can never know until you try the other one out and then decide yourself.

Honestly, I have used poloniex and bittrex and I really love both of them, but I have come to prefer bittrex the more since I found it easier to trade here. It is not about exchange anyway, it is about how good you are. However, when it comes to making analysis easily, I will give bittrex that.
1177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to invest £10,000 on: December 09, 2017, 05:16:09 PM
From your post, you already have two coins you wish to invest into. You can start with that, but I think ETH, XRP, Lisk and XMR are some good coins for both long or short term. It is still good if you go for the bitcoin forked coins like BCH and BTG are some very good ones, that can serve well for a short term investment and long term too.
Personally, I would not want to put XRP on that list. That is not some coin I would want to hold for long term; bankers coin equals to manipulative coin as far as I am concerned.

XMR and Lisk added to the OP's list are all good and I am sure they will have some space in the crypto industry in the long run. SALT is a great one and if he is fast enough, he should better buy now as I have a feelings it would have some bull run pretty soon just like I had the feelings about IOTA recently. You can quote me in few days and see for yourself.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: December 08, 2017, 05:23:43 PM
Started to trade with a small capital and further increased my knowledge in trading understanding the market. Now have been making myself active into the process of regular buying and selling of altcoins for bitcoin. This is all because of the increasing market and growth with bitcoin. Hope will make a bigger earning in the upcoming days.
Personally, I have always made knowledge the first step to anything I want to do because I have learnt in life that without knowledge, you can easily miss your road and get frustrated along the way. I made sure I learn first and after then, gained some experience by practicing with something tangible as well, before going big. That really helped. I do get mixed results so far with my trading still I keep trying it.
1179  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC rate when bitcoin will mined on: December 08, 2017, 10:19:03 AM
What do you think will happen with the bitcoin rate when it will be completely mined? I've heard quite opposite opinions on this issue.
And some (like me) believe that nothing will change for a long time after this.

I think that if bitcoin will still be existed at that time it is probably going to be the main global currency.

Bitcoin mining is going to be stopped at the year of 2140( we all won't live to see that), and I think that if miners will keep mining for fees only( as there won't be any block rewards), it means that the fee amount is going to be very high , which also means that there is a large usage for the bitcoin network, and if there will be so large usage for the bitcoin network it means that bitcoin will be one of the main world currencies.

I don't think that fees will go high if all all the coins are already mined. More transaction fees can be included on the blocks and it can definitely compensate the absence of the rewards per block. What is needed is that the price of bitcoin should go up by that time because less rewards means less bitcoin per member of a pool. Bad thing we will not see what will really happen by that time, and we are not sure if the last bitcoin will be mined.
Fees will not go high and a lot of things would have changed even before then that would make the process of transaction even faster. I can imagine what the value of bitcoin would have been when that time comes.

It would be huge but the truth is that a lot of miners would have even stopped mining as it would no longer be profitable to mine, worse than what we are already having. Like you said, the worst part is a whole lot of us here today won't even be alive by then to experience what would happen.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite game (gambling) on: December 07, 2017, 02:33:32 PM
I have some favorite gambling like poker, sport betting, dice and blackjack
But I think the best gambling is poker and sport betting. I like this type of gambling.
Poker and sport betting are my favorites. I stopped gambling for a while when I was into dice, plinko, and the likes which totally depends on relying on my luck and shifted after a while to sport betting. I have my limits though and I try as much as possible not to get past that even despite the fact that they seem like favorites.

After all, I have won so many times by trying to study the analysis of some pros and that has been awesome for a while now.
