1321  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking To Start A Small Business With Bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 08:36:07 AM
i think it is easy to start a new small scale business with bitcoin there are a number of businesses which can be started through bitcoin and that will be the promotion factor for bitcoin. like if you start a shop through bitcoin the people will come to your shop and they will pay you each kind of money you can allow them to pay you bitcoin as well and through this you will earn bitcoin as well.
There are absolutely huge number of them and it is only left for the person in question to do some research on what can move very fast in as much as you are tying down your capital for it. If it moves pretty fast, you can earn much more back at the end and then you have a customer loyalty and you keep getting more every day, week or month to even buy more bitcoin for storage.
1322  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Give me advice pls! (Online shop) on: October 27, 2017, 08:14:59 PM
Hi there,

I want to launch my own online shop which will accept bitcoin as payment but I can't decide what to sell   Smiley

Please post here what would you buy for bitcoins? Watches, video games, food ?

Thanks!

May I ask if your online shop will provide worldwide? Or just in your country? Because if you want your online shop to be able to worldwide it takes huge money for that. And for what item you want to sell. I suggest you that you start on a small item like dresses and accesories that most people want to buy online. Also shoes and gadgets..

In the present age, when everyone is very much busy and doesn’t have this much of time to go and visit the market personally to buy different kind of clothes, this idea of online shop is a very good idea and it will help most of the people to save their time. There are so many online shopping stores which are very much famous and are used worldwide. You need to look at them like the way they are managing the things.
Online stores has always been a very fantastic way to make huge cash. E-commerce has been a trendy thing for a while now and so many people are making it as long as you know how to market your shop online. It is a very different thing to have an online store and it is totally another different thing to use the available marketing system to get it across to the target market, so OP better put that in mind.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you sell the altcoins gained from bounty programs on: October 27, 2017, 04:32:58 PM
You could have just created a poll instead of hacing to state the result from everyone's post.
However, I always see bounty programs as an investment from my part and I take closer look on any bounty I want to join, so I pretty much hold for a very long time at the end until I am sure it is okay for me to hold and give someone else the chance to benefit from what I am holding.

That still depends though, cause there are just some coins that I will end up trading at a particular price, make some profit and still buy more cause I believe in them rising a lot if I hold longer.
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chances of ICOs being banned in the U.S. soon? on: October 27, 2017, 11:53:13 AM
I'm really interested to see what the crypto community at large thinks about this. As an investor, I'm really concerned about the runway for potential ICO legislation. For all the bad around ICOs there is also plenty of good, and I wonder how long they have left.
Well, with the way ICOs are going and the way gullible investors are not using their heads to differentiate a shitty or scammy project from an authentic one, then I won't be surprised if ICOs end up being regulated as well in the United States. It is kind of painful though, but every country gotta do what she has to do as long as it affects their policies. That is my opinion.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 27, 2017, 08:20:41 AM
Karl Malone and John Stockton still use flip phones...

[im g]http://dsz7vodgjx60a.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/bil-kmalone.jpg[/img]

There is no chance that "almost everyone" in the older generations will use Bitcoin by 2022.
I could not stop laughing with this your statement and that is the truth. The fact that bitcoin is making waves or technology is increasing does not mean everyone will be ready to adopt it. It is just the way it is.

Some would still prefer the old system of doing things. Also, talking about almost everyone in the world, where do we want to put the less privileged countries or those without much infrastructures to have access to making use of bitcoin ? So, almost everyone in 2022 is not possible at all.
1326  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: October 26, 2017, 07:18:24 PM
I might say that it really is impossible for bitcoin to lose its value. Many countries and banks embracing bitcoin. Currently, bitcoin is on the hot seat for investors and a short cut to lose or grow your money in an instant depending on how knowledgable you are in crypto world.
Surely, as long as this keeps going on and we keep seeing more people embracing it due to its value at any point in time and willing to buy at that price it is since they know they need it, then I see no way it can lose its value. It is the value that I have placed on my asset that makes it what it is and if someone needs it, then the person should obviously be ready to buy at my price.

That is the essence, we are in control and except someone deliberately wants to hack all accounts, steal the funds inside and dump it, then I do not see how it would ever lose its value completely except for some few drops which is normal.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: October 26, 2017, 06:52:11 PM
We all experienced same thing on bitcoin cash on ex hard fork. This is going to be same as before. People will sell their bitcoin gold then buy some real coins not junk ones Smiley
Exactly. And immediately after the BCC fork, we started seeing huge pumps on most of the altcoins. So many people had a whole lot of profit from these trades and I believe so many people will experience the same fate this time around.
BCG is already dead and won't even receive a single support, only those who were able to drop their pretty quick will enjoy the first value before it gets hugely dumped once people start recovering their coins.
1328  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: October 26, 2017, 07:45:42 AM
Altcoin prices are now very low, almost all Altcoin owners are in a difficult situation. Altcoin prices were a little better yesterday. The division that will take place on October 25th already affects me negatively.
They are now very low and the best time to get involved in any altcoin is absolutely now. The upcoming really affected a whole lot of people who were holding their altcoins before the huge crash, but it is just one of those things we have to keep contending with.

As you profit in some places, you lose in some places, just that the losses can be bad sometimes, if not properly and smartly handled but good times are coming.
1329  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: October 25, 2017, 01:55:17 PM
the bitcoin itself is the safest way to invest with, but you must have high values of bitcoin.
you might be scammed by all those hyip before you know you was scammed.
People can only get scammed by HYIP if they are greedy. If someone can gladly give you 10% of your capital daily, shouldn’t you ask what kind of business the owner of the website is using your fund to do to be able to realize so much of that in a day and give you 10% ?

I really do not pity anyone that gets nabbed by ponzi or HYIP sites cause they are not totally different from the owners of the site themselves.
1330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tricky Question, Sell BTC and buy Altcoin? on: October 25, 2017, 01:25:46 PM
There is an opinion that altcoin should be bought when important news comes out about it, and during this time of the pump the altcoin should be sold.

Cool if you share more,
Do you have any advise which coin that ll be updated soon?

I am curios to nominate it?

So it is better to sell some and buy altcoins,
Buying which one is that coin with more update?
I am looking further Smiley
No one can tell you which coin to buy at an exact point in time, you just have to watch closely yourself and make those decisions on which one you are purchasing based on the value at that point and the possibility of it increasing in value in a shortwhile. As good as you can make profit from altcoins is the same way you can lose badly when they get dumped. So you have to just stay smart.
1331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 25, 2017, 06:02:45 AM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..
You should learn to be patient because everything takes time. If you want to hold any altcoin do not sell it too quickly if it have not met the requirements that you have set before.
Even our regular investment outside bitcoin takes time and as much as we want to hasten things up sometimes, we just cannot. It took about 8 years for those who held to have what they have today and if you ask me, that is quite a very long time to hold a coin.
So, we cannot keep comparing ourselves since we have made that mistake, as they were bold enough to stick with what they had. Deal with it, learn from it and be patient for your own time to come or come again if you threw the first one away.
1332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 25, 2017, 04:28:53 AM
Last week is not a good week in my trading job. I got some loss instead of profit. I just take it in a positive way by convincing myself that i can earn it soon. It makes me realize that in trading, you should not put all your money in one place for it will be too risky in the part of the investor.

I will not do it again even if i find it profitable for i could be wrong with my decision.
I am pretty sure that last week was tough for so many people, including me. It was an unexpected one and so pretty fast, so many people did not see it coming, most especially long term holder category of trading. Every type of trading comes with their own risk and that is one thing with long term holding.

Moreover, it all still balls down to the kind of coin being held, some will still come back up, while some will stay for so long before they experience boost to where they fell from. Finding a plan to benefit from the fall is what then becomes important.
1333  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: October 24, 2017, 06:07:19 PM
This is what I really believe is to be a new rich with bitcoin invest, seems simple because we need only capital, then be patient to wait so we get a huge profit. there is still a chance for us to become rich because of bitcoin.
You can even be hardworking and with that you can make a lot of cash from earning of bitcoin. Overtime, as the value keeps increasing, you will end up earning much more. Patience, hardwork and some great effort is all that is needed to make yourself be a part of the wealth that comes with bitcoin. If I had been very hardworking for a very long time, the way I am now and have been earning bitcoin, then I would have been a very wealthy one by now, but all hope are not lost. We are just starting the ride.
1334  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: October 22, 2017, 07:20:31 PM
For now, yes! Once the Crypto Credit card ICO's start delivering their products - Centra, TenX, Metal & MCO. We will be able to spend our crypto assets like any currency with those cards!

Some of them have been existing for some time though only for BTC. Last time I checked, xapo was doing something like that. However, with so many of these guys coming up lately, and also having some of them like Centra having many options for multiple coins, spending cryptos will start becoming an easy thing and as once as a merchant makes use of card for payment, this should be a smooth ride.
1335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Accept credit card payments for bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 06:55:36 PM
I'm building a decentralized microservice that will pay people (hosts) small little bits of bitcoin ($5-$25 worth) at a time.

Would I be violating any laws by acting as a middleman to accept a payment via stripe (credit card) or paypal and then sending bitcoin to the hosts? I feel that this would create the best user experience to prevent the user from sending bitcoin or creating a coinbase (or other) account to buy bitcoin.

Thanks!
I think there is no problem in accepting payment via credit cards for bitcoin. Because I think in the near future all the people will use only bitcoin for their day to day life expenditures and purchases then they will use credit cards for their payments.

So I think that it is not illegal but you must keep yourself secure from any fraud and scam. The market is full of scammers and hackers. Otherwise there is no problem accepting credit cards for bitcoin.
Indeed, there should be no problem in accepting payments via plastic money. You can and should buy bitcoin by using your credit cards etc. because bitcoin is not a bad currency at all or more precisely not illegal. I am surprised that people are afraid of suing bitcoin because they are waiting for its legalization around the globe. But those who are really concerned about their bright future are investing into bitcoin as much as you can.
1336  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the fork lead to? on: October 22, 2017, 06:19:13 PM
the thing here is that Bitcoin is like gold, and like gold it has to pass through fire to become what it is today, so Bitcoin is the fire purging the whole crypto space, at the moment i think no other currency in the world can shake the price, remember that alot of people are seeing what Bitcoin could be in the future... at the moment i think Bitcoin could only drop to maximum of 4500$ and head straight to 8000$

I also expect that to happen. Maybe a dip will happen after the fork to shake off the market before another trend will be formed. Consequently , I don't expect that new trend to keep seeing bitcoin diving downwards. This is because users have realised that bitcoin has a great capacity to come back to bullish over time and so many would still hold in there wallet to expect further growth. This will help bitcoin.
That makes sense actually. Bitcoin are the most rehabilitative currency in the world right now. There are altcoins and there is gold and dollars and much other, but the beauty bitcoin have in this regard, couldn’t be made possible by any other currency.

So, like you said, people come to know now that bitcoin will come back again don’t matter how hard is the dip. It profits.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how can we make gambling as an accepted recreational activity like sports game? on: October 22, 2017, 05:47:19 PM
it is not possible gambling does involve luck same as sports in most situations but in sports you require high amount of skills no matter what game it is , in gambling skills won't help you much you need luck more than skills
Basic thing about sports is that it gives you profits. Profits in terms of physical health, mental growth, muscles exercises and every other entertainment factors.
But gambling can’t give you anything even related to it. It makes you so loser and you are not making anything valid and efficient. So sports and gambling are just like the acronyms and synonyms. It is harmful for you.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way to quit gambling and start trading?? on: October 22, 2017, 04:20:49 PM
think that gambling will always lose, while trading will make us get profit. if we dont change our mindset about gambling and trading, then we cant determine between gambling and trading which is more profitable.

This will not help, even how many times you'll think about it but if you are already an addicted gambler things won't change. The best way to quit has been suggested by many people here but the question is that the gambler is willing to take the chance of quitting? But if not it's not our problem anymore, he should make himself push his plan of quitting before doing some other things.
Anyone who is even looking for a best way to quit gambling for trading is not even ready to quit yet cause the only best way is the person controlling his own impulse and knowing when to tell himself to stop. Like you said, addicted gamblers find that hard to do and looking for help is one way to go about it if the impulse is just too hard for them to control.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: Prediction for 2017 - share your views on: October 22, 2017, 04:05:16 PM
Definitely BTC now is at 6,000 usd so I'll expect for something big or higher price until December. I am not sure but maybe it will go for atleast 8,000usd.

Possibly so. I didn't even think its possible to break the 5000 mark this year but bitcoin proved me otherwise so i guess i'm ready to accept the fact that we can hit 8k or even more before the year ends.
As by seeing the market critics this thing is sure that it will cross 10000 bench mark soon because as a lot of countries has accepted recently and that will bring more investor to the bitcoin and that will give a pump to prices and there may be rise up to 7000 usd at the end of October and on top of it nowadays as all knows about the bitcoin eases and benefit they are hurrying to invest to bitcoin before price go high.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: Generating Passive Income on: October 22, 2017, 03:41:44 PM
Hey folks,

I realise that the simplest way to make a profit on crypto at the moment seems to be just buying and holding Bitcoin, but I'm curious if there are any coins or tokens designed specifically to generate ongoing passive income for holding them and if so, how they work?

Appreciate any replies,

I think, no coin or cryptocurrency is designed to generate income passively. What were seeing in bitcoin is the product of many investors and believers that are investing and holding bitcoins. Alt coins could also be like bitcoin as long as it has investors like bitcoin.
Right! It is either you work and get paid in bitcoin (which in itself is a passive income), and buy some altcoins from there hoping the value will increase later in the future just like bitcoin.
Buying and holding is not a passive way of making money as you are just hodling for a hope to have more value in future.

Passive income is what you earn for doing some work online and getting paid. And there are so many ways to do that from signature campaigns, bounty campaigns etc.
