Re: what will happen with the BTC, if the dollar falls

Historically when fiat currencies such as the dollar or euro fail, people buy gold (precious metals) to maintain the value of their wealth in the face of devaluing hyperinflation. If gold or precious metals are unavailable, recently there has been a trend where people have bought big screen TV's and other electronic devices (goods) in an effort to avoid having their fiat denominated wealth be devalued.

Bitcoin's performance over the past year and its supply being algorithmically limited could recommend it as a more desirable option to gold or precious metals. The problem with gold is, it has no point and click electronic utility. It must be physically carried and spent which greatly limits its buying power and application. Precious metals are not supported as a legitimate means of buying/selling in most economies. Without venturing too far into the gold versus bitcoin debate suffice it to say that bitcoin could dethrone gold as the de facto standard in terms of what people buy in times when fiat is in distress.
If dollars fall its value difinitely BTC will also fall because the value of BTC is measured in dollars BTC has no value because it is only the perception that this currency that we  cannot touch has a value.the true assits is the thing that we can see like real properties and gold which  never devaluate.
Perhaps the government can introduce any new currency in exchange of dollar so possibly anything can happen with centralized currencies as they are completely controlled and managed by the government.

But, I don't think it can truly happen so because dollars are now much more ahead than some other currencies and also the economy of the country USA depends on Dollars. So, I don't think the government can easily replace any other currency with dollars.
1182  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I only have 200$ per month ! on: December 07, 2017, 06:15:00 AM
After a month of hard work I have to pay quite a lot of things. I just got one about 200$ to invest in bitcoin. Should or should not. Please help me !  Lips sealed
it is the right choice, we all believe the bitcoin price in the future will be more valuable, by trying to invest the money you have in the amount of $ 200 a month of course it is the right choice but should always monitor price movements. Because as we know bitcoin prices will not be stable until at any time, but can be very profitable if used as a form of investment assets in the long run.
Anyone who at this stage is still in doubt should really just keep their funds in fiat and just come back maybe in the next 1 year to come forward and ask the same question over again. Bitcoin has really proven itself to be a strong currency as well as an investment against all odds, so as far as I am concerned, it seems to me like the perfect choice at the moment for anyone who is looking forward to make some real profit in the long run. How much small amount we are having is not at all a concern but how much we are saving with bitcoin alone matters.
1183  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will People Buy This ? on: December 06, 2017, 06:14:02 PM
It's like a pyramiding or ponzi we have to pay you that amount if we need part time job? It's the reason why we are looking for part time job because we don't have something to pay.

In short, people will not buy this gimmick of yours.

This is true. I know that it would hurt people that are doing this that is a  legit business but because scammers have done this a lot of times so people won't believe this easily and pay any amount. It always start that I will give you a job or part-time but you need to pay first so if they are going to earn in the first place then op should just deduct that from his/her earnings.
Yes. Even if one is legit, one have to consider the fact that the mentality of people towards stuff like this have really changed and it would be very hard to be able to get investors convinced to want to buy into such.
Except the OP has a way of packaging himself better, I would not even bother myself. Like you said, anyone can just come up with something like this and then end up being a scammer. It is the internet world and a lot have been seen.
1184  Economy / Marketplace / Re: LOOKING TO INVEST MY LIFE SAVINGS NEED ADVICE on: December 06, 2017, 05:39:14 PM
actually you only need to buy new computer with good specification like asrock btc mobo, 4-8 gb of ram, ssd hard drive or physic hardware and I think 1 terabyte is enough, vga card like r9 or high-end vga, pure power supply 1000watt. but unfortunately I don't know how much the price and I think you can visit amazon or ebay to see the price. the important thing vga card hardware you need to buy is the high end hardware because with this hardware you can expecting to mining a lot of coins although to mining bitcoin is really difficult. or if you don't want to get trouble, you only need to buy hardware like D3 or L3 and then you need to connect the hardware with your pc and then the hardware will work by itself.
Buying hardware will do a better work than trying to spend so much getting a PC with a very high configuration. That would be a whole waste of time at the end which would be regretted. Mining these days requires a lot of things to consider, and the most important is the rate of electricity where you are.

Once all this can make mining feasible, then choosing the right hardware for the coin you want to mine is just the best and that can be done from research.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Altcoin on: December 06, 2017, 03:32:42 PM
No doubt about it that bitcoin is relatively safe than altcoin for now but as a crypto trader one have to buy alt to accumulate more bitcoin after a thorough DYOR (do your own research)
It is really safe and one can really be at rest when holding bitcoin compared to any altcoins.
Yes, for trading purposes sometimes, some alts have really done well for profit purpose and I really do not see why trading some of them when the chart activities give them up to load up some profit for whoever is able to get in fast.

Alts days are here though until we start seeing another bull run but we are already into the days of bitcoins hence why we need to wait for something which may be not come into action forever too ?
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Currencies to Look At this moment on: December 06, 2017, 02:54:52 PM
Hi all As  I am new to the cryptocurrency world. I ask you all this.

What are the real authentic coins to look at?

at moment I have invested in EThereum and Bitcoin.

I know at time of this message there are over 1300 coins out there, even more, and yes many may not be real or fraud or of value.

in general, what do you look for to determine if its a real deal?

or what would be a list of the coins to look at at this time?

thanks

more less best ones you think to invest in that are very low price at moment.
If you are looking for authentic coin and looking for forum members’ opinion, you will get totally confused and will not even know where to start from. It is best you do your own research on the coin you want to invest in as there are so many of them and if you are not really sure, you may just use your discretion to find the coin being talked about the most or just look at the top 50 coins.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum All Time High on: December 06, 2017, 02:09:10 PM
ETH is young coin and there is a high risk of failures and bugs in the work of the ethereum system, which is confirmed by the latest news. But I believe in this coin  Cheesy
About that, you're right it still needs a lot more time to compare the performance of the network in general terms with respect to current performance, perhaps over time it becomes much slower and with a greater number of problems, but for now it continues to appear as the number two.
Apparently, no one can predict the future and we can only assume where it could head to in the first place. Ethereum though has not really been that pleasing to trade as the level has been so slow lately and annoying to trade. I cannot imagine trying to expect it to break a point and then dropping back down after wards. It has been a long time and I hope it does.

I'm extremely bullish on Ethereum.
Bullish? I really do not see that bull run so far. Ethereum has not shown any sign of a bull run or even making an attempt to break the previous resistance but I guess we just have to keep watching to see where it is going to head eventually. I have held for a while now after the huge dip and I am really optimistic as I am not really looking forward to taking little profit. I hope it comes soon as I am getting pissed already.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing for the long term in an altcoin is good idea? on: December 05, 2017, 03:28:04 PM
as analysis shows for several years - then yes. But no one knows where the top point of this market
No one obviously knows. Earlier this year, most of these coins were still in their very early stage and their value was just so little.

Take a look at Ethereum earlier this year, it was even less than $10, but now that is not just some small increase in value. The point is no one can ever know how far or how huge in value most of these Altcoins are, but we just have to take our chances on some good coins as long as the project behind them seems viable and they have a good team.
1189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which knowledge is important for crypto trading? on: December 05, 2017, 02:22:10 PM
trading required a  good strategy and analysis, you must have good planning and strategies. You must also have good knowledge about basic of trading. Being a good trader you must be a good decision tacker. Some time trading also require a good patient, you must wait for the good time take a decision, for all these qualities one must spend good time in trading to get good experience first and then put good amount of money.
Making good decisions require huge level of knowledge. It is one thing to make any decision as a trader and it is one other thing to make decisions based on strategy. So many people these days like OP have been asking questions on how to trade, which is obviously simple, just find where you can learn.

No one can sit anyone down on this forum to start teaching them how to learn as it is not a day's job. However, there are so many resources on technical analysis online that can be of great help and without that, no one can do well in trading.
1190  Economy / Economics / Re: huge crypto market correction incoming on: December 04, 2017, 08:39:32 AM
There is no point worrying as everyone knows it is something that is going to happen anyway. The market is getting a lot of attention right now and it is normal to see some huge adoption based on the upcoming news. There is a huge inflow of cash coming in, so it is normal to see some little dump in the coming weeks. I would not call that a reason to worry and as far as I am concerned, I am still going to keep holding.
1191  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: December 02, 2017, 05:08:00 PM
A big no. Bitcoin gold will never reach what bitcoin has reached. There is one reason if you want bitcoin gold will reach the price of bitcoin at this moment and that is if all bitcoin holders will sell it and buy bitcoin gold instead.

Right. There probably won't be any alts that can emulate what btc has achieved even etherium. Bitcoin gold is basically going to be another btc ripoff alt that may sometime gain significance but not btc level
BTC rip off alt is just the perfect word to use. All these coins that are forming some new development are just unnecessary and the devs actually did that to scam a lot at the end. Over time, most people who are holding them will end up just being a bag holder of shit coin and that is how I see most of them.

Forget that we are seeing them in the top 10 now, which obviously they were able to obtain from forking from bitcoin, but time will tell and it is just a matter of time before we start experiencing the death of some of them including BTG.
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about bitcoin interest in the near future? on: December 02, 2017, 04:07:21 PM
Bitcoin is the future of networking and all online financial transactions. The revolution in the financial system and the future universal currency
And that is really piquing a lot of investors right now. This is one coin that brought about into reality the usage of blockchain technology which so far has been causing a whole lot of disruption in the financial sector, most especially in the way we spend.

The funny thing is that we have not even seen anything yet as so many developments in the future will really cause the value of bitcoin to kick the roof and fly more than we can imagine.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin gambling is legal? on: December 02, 2017, 02:26:11 PM
In my country betting online is illegal.
Bitcoin is illegal.
But I still gamble with btc fuck  Grin Grin Grin
Lol. That is what makes the difference with online gambling and with the introduction of bitcoin into online gambling, it has made online gambling to become extremely rampant since you can just cash out your winnings and still stay anonymous in the process.

With the use of VPN, I really do not see how online gambling can be illegal even if the country bans it, after all, unless you announce yourself to the whole world, no one will know and no government will be on your neck.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: December 02, 2017, 11:15:02 AM
I thought it was not about if  your a mathatician but based on my experience those gamblers who are expert are good in their math subject ,but I know it depends on luck because we have no statistical explanation when we play gambling. It a luck when you are winning on it and no skills to learn because we not know what happen in a game.
You have said it all bro! It is just pure luck and I wonder what people always think when they feel they could just draw up a strategy to always make them win in gambling. The best form of mathematics that would have helped in gambling is probability, since gambling anyway, is a game of chance.

After all, the thing is, even with the probability, the answer you get is either this or not, and you may not even be lucky enough even when your chances of winning were still high.
1195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin drop to $3000? on: December 02, 2017, 08:28:59 AM
Can bitcoin drop to $3000?
It could happen if we are affected by the false issues that say bitcoin prices will go down and we sell panickedly without thinking about the impact that will occur, it is actually the decisive rise in the price of bitcoin is our own behavior as market participants. So it could happen if we are affected by the issue.
Even the wall street guys cannot really cause any FUD at this stage and all their crappy talks are all going to end up in the trash as no one is really caring anymore whatever comes out of their smelly mouths. Bitcoin market is getting matured every month and we should keep seeing improvements.

Anything that would make bitcoin get to $3000 will be a really huge attack that would breath some high level of support and I really do not know what that would be that has never happened before.
1196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin price drop below $10k in 2018? on: December 02, 2017, 07:29:50 AM
Can bitcoin price drop below $10k in 2018? What you think?
I hope you know that bitcoin is past $11,000 and headed straight to $15,000, maybe you need to check the charts and value presently. So, expecting a fall at $10k is just like advising someone to jump into a well filled with soldier ants.

I do not know what is going to happen with bitcoin in coming months, but I am sure there would be some selling pressure at this point that would result to a correction, but no one should be expecting a huge one and even just buy more if you get the chance.
1197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nasdaq Plans to Launch Bitcoin Futures in First Half 2018 on: December 02, 2017, 03:57:14 AM
I still don't understand what effect futures will have at all so I'll refrain from commenting on that, but CME is actually a bigger operation I believe though NASDAQ is obviously a flashier name and might get more media attention.

Each one adds an extra chunk of legitimacy. It's becoming increasingly hard to discount BTC no matter how much people want to.
I feel that is just the main point here. The involvement of most of these folks, and trust me we cannot discard any of the names, both CME and NASDAQ.

But one thing is that this shows the fact that bitcoin is gaining more grounds as an investment tool and that is really going to mean a lot for investors in the long run as we will end up seeing more investors coming in. I am not sure where this may lead us, but we just have to be careful and at the same time optimistic.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to buy Monero? on: December 02, 2017, 03:29:18 AM
I want to buy moreno now, I have been watching this coin for sometime but for whatever reason i haven't bought yet. Planning for HOLD it for 6 mounts at least.
The price now looks too HIGH. Is now a good time to buy?  Huh

If the coin has a good potential in the market it is not high to buy it now and monero is not high to buy it now, people are very hesitant to buy bitcoin when it hit $5000 now the price is double they still have the same reason , it's either you don't buy and lose your potential profit or buy now without hesitant and cry later.
Someone really looking to hold for the long-term anyway should not be worried about the value now. Getting into Altcoins or buying at a very good position is even easier when comparing it with bitcoin. Bitcoin affects their movements a lot and the time you need to watch out for are those moments like this when they take a huge dip after a bull run.

It is good not too get too greedy and you can go marginal or just close your eye and buy once. It is long term and they cannot remain the same way in the next few months or years.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Diamond BCD - will this match up to BCH/BTG in value? on: December 01, 2017, 03:26:26 PM
Am just hearing this for the first time and bitcoin diamond may make significant progress. Bitcoin Cash is actually performing very well now and in some years to come it might be competing with bitcoin core. Bitcoin diamond which seeing to be another hardfork in days to come may replace bitcoin gold which was suspend last time.  Yobit will make people profit since bitcoin diamond has been listed on the platform already and you can trade it with others coins.
Progress ? I guess we will have to wait and see. This is just another fork with no head and I am not surprised that shitty exchanges like Yobit have got it listed since it is a shit coin anyway and that is what they are good for. Whether it is going to match up or not, no one knows, but I would not really bother myself trying to lay hands on it as it is a pointless fork. Still, being a common crypto follower, I am too looking for this coin as an another free money but honestly no other values.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price 100 USD? on: December 01, 2017, 03:02:06 PM
200$ for LTC is so undervalued
I see that 2018 will be the year for LTC
100$ will be easy before end of 2017
Regards
And to think that I only bought so little.
However, some say that it will go down to 83 USD before going back up, and I agree with that assessment. What do you think?
If you wait just a little bit, it can even go down a little further. If you can get in anywhere below $80, then you should be fine and if it goes further lower, then you can just buy more. A lot of interest is pulling into the market right now and this correction is just a chance to buy more of the coins.

Just wait a little bit though as the correction is ongoing and based on the charts, we should see where bitcoin and most of the coins that got some pretty spike in price are headed.
