Are you by any chance from USA, UK, Australia or some other restricted country? Then you could deposit to a friends account and ask to tip it to you, or use a VPN extension.
Remember the titan/mislechif drama that was plaguing chat for so long?  Tongue

Unfortunately I missed the "plague". What happened? Did mislechif deposited to titan's account and he disappeared not tipping her? I can't imagine mislechif was the dishonest one. She's a known member of the PD community.
2022  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-28] A Regulatory Storm Is Forming in China on: March 01, 2017, 04:07:58 PM
It is a nice move from BTCC to offer zero fees until March 31. I think this will bring much more customers to their place. But at the same time requiring a video verification is not so good for their customers. But I think they have no choice because most likely it has something to do with the government's regulations.

2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: March 01, 2017, 03:52:13 PM
I still wondered after watching one dice gambling tips on youtube. she suggested to use a vpn American countries. Do you think the state and affect our current location to gamble? , please give your opinion

In my opinion location matters only if you are living in a place where online gambling is prohibited. Otherwise it doesn't matter from where you are accessing the site. And it definitely doesn't affect the odds, in case you are wondering about that.
2024  Economy / Economics / Re: BitCoin Exchange on: March 01, 2017, 12:52:13 PM
Is making a bitcoin exchange a profitable business? Has anyone have any experience?
And I don't mean an online one, but a local one where people can go and buy/sell bitcoin.
What do you think?
I can understand that it will depend upon the location, but I think it can help in inviting more people to bitcoin too, right?

Depends on where you are living. People create online exchanges because even if in thier area there are few Bitcoin users they can reach others by internet. But if you are living in a place where a lot of people use Bitcoin on a dialy basis then phisical exchange makes big sense. People who don't trust online services, and actually they have a lot of reasons for that, will go to your place.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 28, 2017, 10:37:15 AM
You can rich with the right mindset of yourself. If it's always negative and you always becoming a pessimist nothing will happen to you. That's just going to make yourself lose all the time. There are a lot of articles that you can learn from to have the right mindset through it. You can become rich from it, but only a few people can do it.

Can you please provide links to those articles? Oh, wait, I think I can google it myself. Are you reffering to “how to become a millionaire” kind of articles? Here's the revelation - they don't work. Period. No "right mindset" will help you to become rich from gambling. The sooner you realize this the better your life will be.

2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 28, 2017, 10:14:34 AM
~

That type of thinking to recover our losses and then just quit is quite hard to do. Especially if we think that we are in winning streak, it's hard to quit easily because we know and assume that we're lucky that time. And we don't have choice but to gamble and hope that we are going to win more winnings but ending up still in failure most of us but there are some who are succeeding.

I would add the word "temporarily" to that. There are some who are succeeding temporarily and yet they lose in the long run like everybody else. People who don't know this think they can be those exceptions who are earning big from gambling. But the truth is there are no exceptions.
I agree, that always happening in the long run. It's better to stop when you have multiplied the bankroll at least 1.5 times or 2 times the original amount. That's a good way to earn at least a good profit, even small it's okay as long as you don't get too greedy.

But you can't be sure that you'll manage to multiply your bankroll 1.5 times or 2 times before losing it all, that's the point. That's why many people lose big in gambling. They think they can do it and sometimes it works, but in the long run even this strategy fails.
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: February 28, 2017, 10:05:30 AM
The miner will get higher zec, falling to 0.2. The profit will also change little.

The mining profit has reduced a lot in the last three months.

Sorry if my question looks stupid, but I'm trying to understand why is that so. So, why do you think the mining profit has reduced a lot? What are the reasons? Is that because of the increasing difficulty or because of the price of ZEC is falling? Actually, from my point of view, the price of ZEC in USD has not fallen a lot in the last three months.
2029  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Best way to sound proof a room for mining? on: February 28, 2017, 09:50:23 AM
I need some help

The egg shape Acoustic Sound Treatment?
Sound proof they use for cars?

Please advise what you guys are using? I need to sound proof a room before my S9s arrive.

Does the thickness or/and shape of the foam help?

Thank you!

Yes, the thickness and the shape matters big time. There is no way to achieve a good sound proofing with a thin material.

Here's one of the best shapes IMO:

And something like this is also good:

2030  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: February 28, 2017, 09:34:56 AM
I have many friends who are willing to sell all their savings Bitcoin because of what is now the high price of cryptocurrency. They bought Bitcoin for 500 and for sale in 1100 for them to be profitable. But they do not because of the panic, but because of what is considered a logical sale

The bitcoin price will rise again. So it is better not to sell.

It's obvious that the price will rise again and that's for sure that will happen for the next months. As of now, the price is quite calm at $1,170 - $1,190+ and if we we'll just be patient we can harvest the profit that price will increase soon. I regret that I sold some of it when the price was lower than $560, a very bad move for a panicking trader.

Sorry for your loss, but at least you haven't sold all your coins then. That's what I want to say to every panic seller: do not sell all of your bitcoins ever or you will regret it big in the future. Whatever the price now, we never know whether it's going up or down in the near future, but what we do know that it is going to be up in the long run.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: February 28, 2017, 09:09:37 AM
When you experienced a loss that you can't bare, I think you will know how you are going to quit. You can stop by not playing anymore. With a big loss, I think it's enough to make you stop. Don't ever think that you could regain what you lost if you gamble more. Wait for at least a day or two for rest then go for it.

It's what others are thinking but there are some that are wanting to have some revenge when they lose a lot. But for those guys that managed to think a way to quit gambling for good, they need to something in able to quit gambling for good. Learning that way is very easy if they have other interest to do to make themselves engage on it.
Of course, you want to get back what you lost from the casinos edge, then quit. It's good that you want to get back what you lost because you shouldn't let the casino owner get your money. Somehow get it back. Learn how to get it then eventually, you can. If you made a strategy good enough. If you don't want to learn, then you probably need just to let it go and quit.

2032  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: February 27, 2017, 02:36:39 PM
I think this bitcoin bank will be a good idea for long term basis because if we have a bank then it will be an attractive idea to save bitcoin and like the traditional banks of fiat, we can use those stored bitcoins to give loans to other and also get interests with our deposits. I hope this bitcoin bank idea will be establish in the future Grin.

I found it dangerous to deposit my bitcoin in a bank. Even exchanges securities are not safe from hackers, I'd rather keep it in my cold storage than moving my funds to banks. I am contented with the price movement and I think that's enough interest to me.

I think it's a long way to go before the realization of this bitcoin banks. Most of the first ones to open might need to be improved first before it can be entrusted with our bitcoin.

I don't undersatnd why anyone needs a Bitcoin bank and I can't see how a bank would hold BTC. I mean how it's different from an online wallet for example? IMO Bitcoin bank is like an online wallet but only worse in many aspects.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 27, 2017, 02:27:52 PM
Sometimes i became rich when i win thrice in a row because of playing in a game. So therefore riching side that is part of luck and your destiny to become a rich person in the world.
How much you won when you gambling? and how much your initial deposit? May i know what kind of gambling you actually playing? To earn more than your bankrole? I can't even win thrice in a row i always get bust when i want to earn more money.
I am making a good money from sports betting. Initially I invested about 200 USD dollar in gambling when and I think I have almost recover my investment. And now I am playing gambling with my profit. Actually I have good experience in gambling games and specially in cricket and therefore it is more easy for me to make money from cricket gambling.

Congratulations! But for how long are you doing this? The thing is many people win in gambling at start but after some time they lose. And since they know from previous experience they win mostly they think they can recover easily, and that's when the real disaster starts.
2034  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin (2000-3000$) Worths 1 Carat Diamond - Don't Sell Your Bitcoins on: February 24, 2017, 11:45:00 AM
1 Bitcoin worth is 2000-3000$ like 1 carat diamond.

I created this thread to ask why it's better to not sell your Bitcoins?

You could have asked a similar question 1 year ago: "1 Bitcoin worth is $250-$300 like almost 10 grams of gold, so why it's better to not sell your Bitcoins?"

Because today, one year later, it's more than 20 grams of gold. Maybe that's why.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM WHITDRAW AND SUSPEND ACCOUNT !! on: February 24, 2017, 11:29:10 AM
Ok, I'm thinking of playing at FJ, I have deposited to other on-line dice games as well but haven't got any issues yet. I will watch this thread and see how it goes.
i don't think this is a serious issue that could affect fortunejack reputation .
but still however it is worth to wait fortunejack to respond to this thread making an official statement and make a clarification .
in my point of view , op caught cheating and don't want to responsible , he want his money back Sad too bad.

ya i want my coin back ! multiple accounts ? really
leave me the proof if I have multiple accounts

>>>150-200 account is very easy to be tracked on your db.give a reason and explain that there is no tricking people
i know that feeling , when actually the system failure causing you to be blame.
an anti fraud system can be wrong too , i can't see any reason for fortunejack to close your account unless if they have a valid proof.
goodluck to you and i wish fortunejack can take a little time for this case.

Yes, this case should get more attention in my opinion. Either fortunejack provides a proof that OP has multiple accounts or they apologize and pay him his money.

I understand that it's impossible to react on every abuser this way for a big site like fortunejack but I think it's worth doing once in awhile.

guess high/low when you get chosen as a tribute Smiley

Oh, I see. Thanks for the answer! Because that's what I was doing, spamming HG in vain.  Smiley Smiley Never was accepted as a tribute.  Sad

I think that's also because I tend to create a new account on PD almost each time and they are choosing veterans mostly.

2038  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Bitcoin start to price increase? on: February 23, 2017, 03:20:31 PM
The same way everything else acquire its value, the law of supply and demand. Fortunately bitcoin is a limited supply. So if new demand arises, the price will easily rise too. Unfortunately, the volume is still low that whales can still manipulate the price by dumping and pumping bitcoins.

I agree on the "supply and demand" part, but I don't think "whales" are really manipulating the Bitcoin's price these days. To do that you have to risk millions or rather dozens of millions of USD. I doubt people are doing that actually.
2039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where can i buy and sell bitcoins at cheap cost on: February 23, 2017, 02:44:11 PM
OP, use all the good advices above but also take into account that the price of Bitcoin on a site is not the only thing that matters. Look closely at the fees they charge. Some sites deliberately set the price of BTC lower than on other sites to attract buyers, but they charge big fees.
2040  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 22, 2017, 11:18:55 AM
most bitcoin users would not tend to waste of their time on collecting very small amounts on faucets,so it would not profitable.

I disagree. First, there are many kids these days who want to have thier own coins and they use faucets because they are the only chance to get BTC for those kids. And it doesn't matter how old the kids are if they are generating enough traffic for a site to sell places for advertising. Second, I heard some people manage to collect a decent amount of Satoshis per day using bots. So, bitcoin faucets will be always popular to some extent.
