1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell all you got NOW!!! Tomorrow will be too late! on: March 23, 2018, 07:44:53 PM
Well, if you compare cryptocurrency market to the stock market and real estate you should at least take into account the age of all cryptocurrencies, they're only being under development, no regulations yet, no legislation, and still they stand shoulder to shoulder with real estate and stocks, so I am not going to deny the obvious potential of cryptos.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: can i rise price by buy for my sell ? ( on: March 23, 2018, 07:17:20 PM
hi;

i like this coin: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/chronologic/#charts

it has good supply. i think him price is sensitive like penis , cuz yesterday i observed, when it buy 70$ of it, price rise by 0.5$

if i buy it 10K $ amount then i should know, that price will rise at least 5$ , when it rise , i will again resell and i will stay with profit )

it is charismatic but it is so, how it looks
If you're sure that it wasn't a coincidence - do ahead. Traders and investors are used to this kind of manipulations, that happens with Bitcoin too. Just make sure to do two things accurately: you have to buy during a short period of time, that will influence the price the most, and be ready to sell right after the price increases, because someone else might do it faster.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin digital gold? on: March 23, 2018, 05:30:09 PM
The billionaire venture capitalist is doubling down on BTC, likening the digital coin to gold’s online equal.

Thiel touts the No. 1 cryptocurrency for its size and its ability to compete with gold as a safe haven, saying at the Economic Club of New York:

“I would be long bitcoin, and neutral to skeptical of just about everything else at this point with a few possible exceptions. There will be one online equivalent to gold, and the one you’d bet on would be the biggest,” said Thiel.

But with the exception of a few digital coins, Thiel remains neutral on the rest of the cryptocurrency pack. He didn’t dismiss the possibility that bitcoin could be surpassed by Ethereum or other altcoins that prey on the leading cryptocurrency’s weaknesses, but bitcoin’s strength is in its size.

Bitcoin controls more than 40% of cryptocurrency market cap compared to almost one-fifth for Ethereum, as per Coin Market Cap data cited in CNBC.
Technically, yes, but there is one catch. Gold is a property and it is accepted in any country and bank as an investment, meanwhile BTC should be considered as a currency, you can purchase something with it, at least it is thought to be that way. And it is much more volatile, than gold.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why the facebook, google are banning cryptocurrency? on: March 23, 2018, 03:54:54 PM
Bitcoin continues to be pounded by negative news. Unconfirmed reports about Twitter following the footsteps of Facebook and Google in banning cryptocurrency ads pushed Bitcoin’s price below $8,000 on March 18.
I think there might have been some accusations of Google and fb regarding cryptocurrencies and ICO promotions, like people can fall for scams, but that's just a cause for these prohibitions, and the real reason may be some agreements between the govs and these companies, maybe they were threatened, who knows.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CyberMiles will dominate the Cryptocurrency market in the next two years on: March 23, 2018, 02:43:52 PM
Do you think CyberMiles will dominate the Cryptocurrency market in the next 2 years? CyberMiles has the fastest and lowest cost of transactions compared to the altcoins.
It really has great characteristics, including the transaction time and the fact that it can can run a lot of smart contracts, but the team and partners didn't seem to me like serious competitive people and organizations, comparing to ETH, for instance. I don't think CMT has appropriate support and promotion, so it won't take over the market.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your bitcoin story? Good or bad on: March 22, 2018, 09:18:31 PM
Every one has a story to tell so share your bitcoin story for us to learn from. Either good or bad.

I knew about Bitcoin in early 2014 and I regret now, that I haven't invested in it everything I had, I thought it might grow till 1000$, but not more, since 2017 I have been investing in it more actively. Now I feel happy that I'm into BTC and know a lot about it, I don't have to think whether it's a scam or some kind of a scheme, I just have to wait till it takes over the world.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on tv series on: March 22, 2018, 07:59:53 PM
Is it okay for you to get bitcoin in the TV series? because in recent times it has started to be mentioned a lot in television programs. sometimes they can make bad news. does this misrepresent bitcoin
Guess you've just discovered how the media works. See, you know a lot about Bitcoin from other sources and from your own experience, that's why you realize how much they misrepresent it, but it's not only about Bitcoin, media does it practically with everything to manipulate the public opinion, that's why I don't watch TV.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: March 21, 2018, 08:52:15 PM
Thank you, that's very informative, I always point up the white paper, team and project development details. I didn't know about fake emails, though, can you tell about some specific differences between fake mails and websites and the genuine ones.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price Going Down? on: March 20, 2018, 07:00:21 PM
You never know for sure what's the reason of red market, media lies, it may be some manipulations between large investors, or some exchanges hacking, new regulations and SEC requirements, etc. Invest now, when BTC is about 7,000 USD, I don't think it will go any lower. Or invest a part of your money now, and then see how the situation goes and do more a few months later. The amount is up to you, just don't invest money that you might need for life so you won't have to sell when it's not profitable.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m out on: March 20, 2018, 06:10:06 PM
I had a blood clot on my brain in late January and stroked out.By the time I got out of hospitals rehab a month later I’m seeing 85% losses, with no end in site. I can’t ride this rollercoaster any lower. I’ll be happy to escape with some profits now rather than ending up underwater. Good luck to all.
Don't do that, you will regret it. That's just a panic. If you look at how serious Bitcoin team is, and how many large investors are standing behind it you will see that BTC can't disappear, they've invested too much already, so they will do everything to support Bitcoin. The situation now is annoying, I agree, but if you don't need money right now just be patient and wait at least a year.
1071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the common challenges for bitcoin user? on: March 20, 2018, 05:00:21 PM
As we all know bitcoin has come long way in the eight or so years its been in existence, but their's still long way to go before the digital currency becomes a widely used method of paying for goods and services.
we should know.
1.what challenges are facing bitcoin?
2. how we can prevent it?
3. how we should face those challenges?
Challenges may involve different regulations that governments may implement, like taxes for transactions, purchasing, or cashing BTC, maybe even for storing it and price volatility during stabilization period. We should not prevent it, if we want cryptocurrencies to be legalized, we should accept that decentralization will suffer, but therefor we will obtain worldwide Bitcoin usage.
1072  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questionable wealth because of Crypto on: March 19, 2018, 02:01:59 PM
Our Government here will always question people who become rich instantly, sometimes they will relate all the wealth to drugs and smuggling so they can send us to jail for a questionable wealth and not paying taxes. they will do background checking, even if they dont find any illegal activities we did they still think that we do illegal. What if I become rich because of BTC do you think they will believe if I say that its bitcoin that making me rich? How will I explained to them?
You wouldn't have to explain anything to them. It's not you, who must prove your innocence, but them, prosecutors, who have to furnish with proofs.

1074  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit Cycling on: March 18, 2018, 02:10:41 PM
So I was interested in how to obtain merit and so I looked at a few profiles of members with a large amount of merits (250+) and saw that a few seemed to be sending merits backwards and forwards to each other repeatedly. I’m assuming they were either to friends or his alts but surely this is against BCT rules and should be cracked down upon?
Yes, unfortunately I've noticed that too. It's a pity that there are signature campaigns, at which payments may depend on merits and such people with low quality posts, but high merit work there. I hope forum moderators will deal with it.
1075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: March 17, 2018, 04:02:00 PM
For some reason, I have my faith on Bittrex.
But everyone is talking about coins and ICOs but I tend to believe most of the exchanges will be closed soon.
An exchange is a hell of a thing.

I think that the legal exchanges, the ones that are registered with SEC will eventually become top ones, because others will face problems, or even might be banned.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we now in a time of total uncertainty on: March 17, 2018, 03:46:07 PM
Do people think we are now in a time of real uncertainty over what the price is going to do next.  It seems to defy all logic.  I thought it would go down a few days ago but it didn't.  And now it has gone down today.  Will it go further down from here around 8.1k now at this time or will it go up again over the next few days.  This must be putting people off investing.  Or are people just optimistic.
I think it has always been time of uncertainty, there are times, when the crash might be predictable, like in case if someone bans Bitcoin, or there has been an attack, but in general Bitcoin stability is a seldom thing.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOVERNMENTS CAN CONTROL CRYPTOCURRENCY on: March 17, 2018, 02:08:56 PM
There have been a lot of arguments concerning this topic. Again, there have been a lot of pronouncements from governments officials pertaining cryptocurrency control and people actually reacted to them.

Even though some governments may want people to think they control and regulate cryptocurrencies, that is far from the case, as cryptocurrency cannot be regulated or controlled by default. Companies providing solutions related to this new form of money, on the other hand, are subject to existing guidelines which apply to other financial service providers as well. The flow of money in the cryptocurrency world is not controlled by any central authority, nor will it ever be.

What is your own thoughts about this?
They can't control cryptocurrencies directly, but they can implement rules, that may affect cryptos spreading and their price. We have a lot of examples which prove that: taxes, banning by countries and by media, spreading of false stories, market manipulation, etc.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did ETH changed crypto world? on: March 17, 2018, 12:44:43 PM
Very often we ask questions, whether ETH is worth to invest. For me ETH changed the crypto world, it is revolutionary.

Here is the article on the ERC20 and how it affected the tokens: https://icoguide.com/en/blog/what-is-erc20-and-how-does-it-affect-tokens

Do you agree? please share your opinion.
Yes, Ethereum has given an opportunity for a lot of decentralized cryptocurrencies and tokens. Beyond dispute it may be called revolutionary and has a great potential.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: after Facebook on: March 17, 2018, 11:15:27 AM
After Facebook banned the crypto relates ads next is google then who
What is the possibly effect of thier step did
Can this be a good thing cause it can stop the crypto money loundering
Or it can be bad cause it can hold the btc for spreadin share your thoughts

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/13/google-bans-crypto-ads.html
In this article it is said that this update will go into effect on June 18, that's 3 months from today - a lot of things might change, so it's too early to make any conclusions yet. And I don't think that this will affect BTC spreading. People always find out about cool things, no matter what social and mass media do.
1080  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are people doing so many things to frustrate crytocurrency on: March 16, 2018, 10:27:10 PM
I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate crytocurrency?
Sad to hear that, but it seems to me that banning isn't about cryptocurrencies, it's about scams. Maybe they all feel like they can't predict whether a particular ICO is scam, or not, but they don't want to be responsible for scammers, so they ban them all. But I wonder why they didn't ban online casinos then, people spend there a lot of money too.
