I did.  Sadly I lost the bet for over 215.5.  I have great respect for the Mavericks and I am a big fan of Luka Doncic but it's obvious they won't be able to win against the Warriors. They are just too much for them in this situation and their roster may not be enough to equal it. They are both hungry to win but an experienced team has an upper hand in this series. Game 4 though might be different, I'll try to check if the spreads will be fair to take the bet. Experienced and great chemistries a big advantage of Warriors over the Mavs. Talent wise both teams have respected stars it just the consistency of each role player to deliver the help that the team needs from them are the big advantage of the Warriors, whoever coach Kerr pulls from his bench automatically to play his role and make his presence be counted. Unlike with coach Kidd, he just keeps relying on his cores. |

They shoot very good as well at home, Finney-Smith, Bullock, Bertans can lead a avalanche of 3's and maybe that will give them enough separation against the Warriors. But we all know that there's no lead that is safe against a team like the Warriors so Dallas should played solid 48 minutes of basketball. Unlike in game 2 wherein they collapse in the 3rd, they can't allow that to happen again. I'm thinking maybe Dallas will win the 1st half but the Warriors will have a big run in the 3rd quarter. Actually, the Warriors are called a 3rd quarter team for a reason, so in order for Dallas to win, they need to build a huge lead just to make sure the Warriors will not be able to come back and beat them again. Also, Dinwiddie has to contribute well like what he did during the close out game against the Suns, he can't struggle if they want to win. In game 2 Dallas established a big lead but 10+ run without any answer from them, Warriors snatch the win. If Dallas is still hoping for the win, they need to work harder; they need to adjust and learn from how the Warriors manage to dominate them, Luka, Brunson and Spencer are doing everything but against the whole squad of Warriors, 3 stars are ain't enough to beat them. |

Experience-wise, this series may go 4-0. Luka is okay, but his teammates look to be in panic with the Warriors' defense. Their normal three-point percentage went low. Dinwiddie stepped up his game today but still not enough. Bullock and Finney-Smith should also do the same but we didn't see that. Worse, Bullock was 0 point and 0-7 at outside shots before and after he was hurt with the collision against Wiggins. Speaking of Wiggins, that guy is legit. He was overrated in the Draft as they said but now he is showing why. I guess just having a good team is what he needed for his skills to come out. Wiggins is actually good, it's just that he hasn't found a good team before, but now that he is with the Warriors, he is willing to play on the role the coaching staff will give to him, which makes him better and the Warriors team in overall. This series will not go 6 games, if Dallas wins game 4, the Warriors will certainly end this in 5. I agree it seems that he found his home with the Warriors right now and rediscover how good he really was. Anyone see that massive dunk he did against Luka? although the referee killed but one of the best dunk (together with his dunk against KAT). I doubt that Dallas can bounce back, no one does. Maybe they will got 1 win but that's it. If by any chance Mavs managed to win 2 straight games against the Warriors, that might be a good achievement. I'm also not seeing any chance that Mavs can upset Warriors in this series, not unless Jason Kidd will find the best combination that will matchup with the Warriors types of game. Both defense and offense of Warriors are terrific, outscoring mostly their opponents in the 2nd half and maintain the type of games till the final buzzer. |

let's get realistic here, TerraFirma is not a team a player would want to play because it's a trash team and players are not as motivated when they are playing on a big team like Pangilinan and Cojuangco owned teams. PBA is just being monopolized, that's the real score actually, that's why I understand why players are upset when they get traded in a weak team.
That's the reality in our beloved PBA . Every trade has its own drama but fans/community can do nothing about it even if we rant on social media, that will not still have an effect on the decision of Willie Marcial. In this case of Javy and Gray, i could that Terrafirma really needed guys that could help their campaign ASAP which they could not get from Gray as he is suffering/recovering from an injury while Ginebra could wait for his return as they won't need him as they have reliable guys on his position. Fair trade for me. In terms of urgency I go with you, TerraFirma needs help from available players who can bring them the reinforcement that they need. Unlike Ginebra, they are still fully equipped and still very capable of winning another title. We don't need to worry much about any trades that will soon to happen to this league, it's monopolized even it's hardly being denied but we see the things from how the management continue to favor both Cojuangco and Pangilinan each time they demand for any trades. |
