2041  Economy / Collectibles / Re: SOLD: silver wallet 1oz silver coin super low serial BUY THIS THING@@@@#! on: November 12, 2015, 01:20:42 PM
I still haven't received the coin despite paying 0.44BTC ( $110 at the time ) for it on 15-10:

https://blockchain.info/tx/2951fe04088ff38b1f2c17f5523c4178711f234c9c3461a6b70d607bd6893677

Last message I had said it had been sent on 26-10.

I never received tracking info ( he didnt have it ) despite being told it has been sent several times.

I've given bitmarket.io the benefit of the doubt for nearly a month now but enough is enough.

He's not replied to my last 3 PM's again despite being online.

I'll give it until the end of the week for the coin to arrive or receive a refund before opening up a scam accusation thread and leaving negative trust.

P.S. I dont like to air my dirty laundry in public but feel I now have no other option.

He does this every time he sells. On average it takes him 1 month to ship (look at some of his past sale). He will eventually ship it though.
2042  Economy / Lending / Re: [URGENT] NEED $10 BTC LOAN - STEAM 60 EUR CODE AS A COLLATERAL on: November 11, 2015, 04:06:02 AM
Well, this is nice that you paid me and I believeyou that something came up. The collateral you gave me was valid and I did sell it (I broke even on this loan). I will be removing my negative feedback from your account. I am not sure how to handle the coins you sent, though. I already got paid back so if you want half or all of them back let me know.

While he finally made repayment, at the very most a neutral would have been plenty, especially when he leaves Negatives for those that left him Negative Trust for defaulting.
As far as his "story", at least it wasn't the car wreck saga.

"1 red flag is ok, but gaining 3 red flags from 3 different parties for one defaulted loan?!?!?! What the fuck is going on here? False positive man, please delete your red flag from my account. "

False positive......he defaults and it's a false positive.  Roll Eyes

I meant to leave a neutral (fixing that). I believe him, though. Why would he pay me back otherwise?

2044  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Airsoft Gun on: November 11, 2015, 01:35:25 AM
Wow this looks really really cool. Would anyone escrow for this trade though?

Many escrows cannot provide support for physical goods; so I thought to act this way, following these 3 steps:

1. Buyer send funds to a trusted escrow ( I suggest master-p or SebastianJu )
2. When escrow receives funds from the buyer, I will send the gun directly to the buyer, with a shipping tracking id. In the meanwhile escrow holds the money and keep it safe.
3. When the buyer receives the gun, escrow can release funds to me.

That is exactly how it works.
2045  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Casascius Void Coin on: November 11, 2015, 12:38:18 AM
What happened to Eod's VOID coin offer...... GONE!!!

Too many variables still up in the air. My post was a little premature.  Wink

Perhaps a general question for the time being: What is everyone's opinion on what these are worth?

I would have guessed lower than minerjones, but it is hard to say as I have never seen one for sale.
2046  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] i7 4790, GTX Video Card, Samsung SSD on: November 10, 2015, 04:17:18 AM
Do you just want someone to build it for you? Newegg takes BTC so does DELL. If you really want this built I am willing to order it up / assemble / ship it to you.
what is your price offer regarding Samsung SSD? because i am trying to offer that kind of SSD as well.
btw he might mean he can assemble by himself.

I totally misread what he was after and deleted my post.
2047  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] USB Adapter for AM Prisma on: November 10, 2015, 01:08:15 AM

Done deal - Payment sent!
2048  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: November 09, 2015, 08:54:15 PM
ty for adding now can be on track with a fantastic sig campaign once again. Shame others went the way they did but am think am a stay here for the count as all ones been in previously where good but didnt last.

That is why I stay with Bit-X. It is nice and stable and Marco takes good care of us. Plus Bit-X is a legit company so not advertising some scammy shit.
2049  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: November 09, 2015, 12:54:15 PM

Sale 1 - 2weix: could not find a buyer even at 26 so he peeled it

That would be my preferred option, if i couldnt find the right collector.

If you value peeling a holo over 2BTC then sure  Cool
I can justify that, by being left with the redeemed coin, which ive seen go for ~1BTC, minus the delivery cost and stress.

How much you selling yours for?

I am buying not selling them.
2050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risky to leave fiat currency on an exchange?? on: November 09, 2015, 06:50:47 AM
AFAIK, none of the exchanges have anything that comes remotely close to FDIC insurance, and as a result it is nowhere near as safe to leave anything of value at an exchange as it is to leave it at an FDIC insured bank. This is why you can presently receive roughly 16.18% APY by leaving your fiat at bitfinex for a year (if you assume you would receive the current flash return rate for a year), verses getting roughly 0.51% APY (according to bankrate.com) at a FDIC insured bank in a Money Market account.

As a general rule, no you should not leave neither BTC nor fiat at an exchange for any period of time, however there may be exceptions to this rule. For example, if you think your computer is infected with malware, but such malware has not yet stolen your BTC, then moving your BTC to an exchange account that has 2fa enabled will probably result in a lower chance of you getting your BTC stolen.

You also need to factor in the opportunity cost of the time it takes to transfer BTC from your bank to your exchange account if you like to frequently trade speculative trades, as this delay may result in you loosing out in being able to buy low, and sell high

Gemini is FDIC insured on USD, so if any are safe it is them.

Peeling a holo feels great for about 5 seconds

Yeah, then you're like "fuck, I can't go back..."

Paying a BTC1-2 premium for a BTC25 coin is NUTS. These guys scored big! That's a small fee to pay!

Go and scoop some up then! Everyone says it's so cheap, but never see them buying.

Not interested in the 25btc but is that 10BTC up for sale?
The 10BTC sold for 19BTC. So each coin mysteriously acquires its own premium value. Thats the magic of Casascius, i guess.  Cheesy

The fact is, the 25BTC's dont publicly change hands often enough to really know what the premium is for it. It certainly aint a measly +2BTC/less than 10%. Blazed found 2 desperate, and lost souls there.

Of the last 3 sales I know of publicly it went down like this...

Sale 1 - 2weix: could not find a buyer even at 26 so he peeled it
Sale 2 - I bought graded MS-65 for 27
Sale 3 - I bought non-graded for 26.5

The 10 will command nice premiums and sell fast. The only Cas coins that do not move fast are the 25s. Now if you had a series 1 I would offer a slightly higher premium, but not much. At the end of the day these coins are hard to sell.
2055  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Casascius 2013 Silver Single + Silver / Gilt - Starts @ 2BTC! on: November 09, 2015, 12:18:29 AM
Well, I had planned on auctioning a "goldie" and silver half, but thinking the market is not that strong. Too many people trying to resell these days means I am putting my coins away for a while.
2056  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: November 09, 2015, 12:15:47 AM

I will offer you 27BTC for it. I have purchased 2 of these in the last few months at or below 27BTC.

Why anyone would sell @27BTC or below, is utterly baffling to me.

Not many people are after 25BTC coins. Also they are by far the ugliest coins Mike made.
2057  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Campaings already cutting rates on: November 08, 2015, 10:43:46 PM
Even though it sucks for us i don't really see a problem with it lol. It's their campaign and we have a choice weather to be a part of it or not

Exactly... Be thankful you get anything for posting on a forum.
2058  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling quality collectable Casascius coins........ on: November 08, 2015, 10:39:46 PM
Ok. Ive been reunited with my treasured 25BTC Gold Casascius again, while i went gallivanting around Europe. Now i have it in my hands again, its again time to try and see what its worth to someone.

Just to piss on my own sale right from the start......i cant bring myself to post this coin. Undecided I want a face-to-face sale, somewhere in UK/Europe (currently in France, but will travel).
If someone wants this posted, thats doable, but you are trusting me to post it, and the postal service to safely deliver it, as full payment is needed beforehand.
Maybe an international buyer knows and trusts someone in UK/Europe that i could hand this over to. Whatever, i wont be posting it unless the buyer assumes all risk. Sorry.

I want 32BTC for this coin.

          http://www.spotcoins.com/bitcoin/casascius/variety/25-btc-series-2

This could possibly be the last 25BTC Casascius to be funded.

Cheers

^^That's a flash aberration on the holo. The coin is spotless, as its been in its original plastic pouch^^

I will offer you 27BTC for it. I have purchased 2 of these in the last few months at or below 27BTC.

Cautious While Dealing with Newbies and Jr Members..
Deal only with members Which have above position

Rank does not really matter these days due to account sales. Best not to trust anyone here, and always escrow.
