2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Why is white label crypto exchange software a preferable way to invest? on: April 06, 2022, 01:36:47 PM
...
Generally, to develop  a crypto exchange platform  there are two possible ways are used:

1. Development from scratch
2. Development using white label software
...

And exchange is a complex project and a risk because if it has any vulnerability then we can lose our founds and user founds too. That's why it's important to develop it from cero.

I have never seen an exchange created with White Label. I will not trust third-party software for a big project like this. The risk is too big and doesn't worth it.
2082  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Hydra, mayor mercado negro Ruso se expande. on: April 05, 2022, 06:13:11 PM

2083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX, wants to give away 99% of his money on: April 05, 2022, 05:59:04 PM
it's very noble of him, and I wonder where he will give these 99%, if these are charitable foundations that really help people, then this good deed will not be ignored, because you can't earn all the money, and for someone this money is vital. This act will bring him more than he will give, a good man.

If you read the full article you will realize the funds will go to ukranian users and some other donations like animal welfare.

Quote
In February after Russia invaded Ukraine, the FTX founder said his crypto exchange gave cash to all of its Ukrainian users. He also personally donated $250,000 in tether to Ukraine.

The idea about give to earn more is nice, his goal is to keep only 1% of his earnings each year, and it's a great way to help others if you earn a lot.
2084  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Formas reales de multiplicar tus BTC on: April 05, 2022, 03:02:51 PM

2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will Yobit allow Clam Transactions? on: April 05, 2022, 01:18:15 PM
...
they probably just forgot about it.
...

I don't think so mate, a big exchange can't just forget about their services, maybe they are on hold to wait to see where does the coin go in the future.

...
I think that's Yobit's indirect way of saying we have delisted this coin, while at the same time holding people's coin as hostage. I have seen it happen to other coins, and I haven't seen a wallet of such coin get back to normal again (allowing deposits and withdrawals)
...

Well, that's a smart move from them because if the coin gets back to life, then they already have the implementation and it would be easy for them to reactivate the markets.
2086  Local / Español (Spanish) / Formas reales de multiplicar tus BTC on: April 04, 2022, 07:38:15 PM

Riesgo: Perder nuestras criptos.

Mercados e Inversiones:

2087  Economy / Gambling / Re: Video Course of BlackJack for people who want to learn BlackJack on: April 04, 2022, 02:12:29 PM
If we want to play BlackJack like a boss the right way is by using a Cheat Sheet, if we google them there are a lot of them that tell us how to play each hand. I will leave one of them here as an example.

We only need to know how many decks are we playing with, and with that, we can search for the right cheat sheet.

Also I see inside this passwords:
...
Ca$$0411 (8 characters)
Ca$$0411 (8 characters)
Are you sure there's a duplicate? That shouldn't have happened. If it did, I forgot a "-u" option somewhere.
...

I just sha256 on both strings to verify they are the same, and yes they are:

Code:
forum@bitcoin:~$ echo 'Ca$$0411' | sha256sum
f5985cfee81e0a3636fa3a5ca5c1c22b0e4a4b97571d840c917f4a903c8fbb1b  -
forum@bitcoin:~$ echo 'Ca$$0411' | sha256sum

My guess is one of those has an space in front of it, and we can remove those with sed:

Code:
sed 's/ //g'

Remember to use sed before sort.  Wink

Now, the fact, they have accumulated more Bitcoin to date than those that will be mined over the next hundred years of mining the first Bitcoin.

Right now 19M Bitcoin have been mined in total, and there are 2M Bitcoins to mine in the next years. So, if they are holding 125,000 btc that's 6.25% of the mined bitcoin in the future.

I mean 125k bitcoin is a lot but is not compared with the 2M bitcoins that will be mined in the next years.
2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom Software --> Support Freedom Software on: April 01, 2022, 10:56:53 PM
...
One very important distinction: All freedom software is completely open-source, but not all open-source software is completely free.
...

For me Freedom Software and Open Source Software are the same things, if you can access the code, understand it, and modify it then you can call that 'freedom'.

And if you want to learn about more Freedom Software then you should take a look at Linux and I'm sure that if you understand how that works then the word freedom will get a new meaning for you.
2092  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling exploit (LEGAL) on: April 01, 2022, 04:16:24 PM
Even if you are able to exploit the site they will see it in the long run, isn't normal to have users always winning and their first step will be to freeze all the accounts who used the exploit.

So, anyone who tries this will be risking their coins. Be careful.
2093  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty 10000$ Who can help me recall password! on: April 01, 2022, 02:56:26 PM
...
Let's go to finding all passwords, contains 10 and 10+ symbols please...
...

10 chars passwords are huge for brute force, I try with crunch without symbols and we are talking about a 2 PB file:

Code:
bitcoin@forum:~$ crunch 10 10 ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz -t Ca@@@@@@@@
Crunch will now generate the following amount of data: 2401741161433856 bytes
2290478860 MB
2236795 GB
2184 TB
2 PB
Crunch will now generate the following number of lines: 218340105584896

Another good option could be to run crunch direct in the cracking command with HashCat. That way you generate the passwords at the moment without loading them from a huge file.

This article explains how to do that:

2095  Other / Meta / Re: IQ testing now required before posting on: April 01, 2022, 02:31:07 PM
Great feature, this will help us to clean the forum from all the bots! Keep it up and long life for the Ivory Tower goal.

Let's see how high we can grow our IQ. #ChallengeAccepted
2096  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty 10000$ Who can help me recall password! on: March 31, 2022, 05:41:50 PM
I think it would be better if you generate the password list, that way you can verify all the possible passwords.

A great tool that I recommend is Crunch:

Code:
:~$ crunch 5 5 ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz -t Ca@@@
Crunch will now generate the following amount of data: 1429968 bytes
1 MB
0 GB
0 TB
0 PB
Crunch will now generate the following number of lines: 238328

As example with that command, we can generate al the combinations for the 5 Chars password including Caps and Numbers.

If we want to generate a dictionary for 6 chars then we should use:

Code:
:~$ crunch 6 6 ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz -t Ca@@@@

I hope this helps:

2098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is going to be bad for the Indian Bitcoin community on: March 31, 2022, 03:28:42 PM
This is tricky because the 30% is only against profit. So, if someone invests $1,000 and withdraws $1,100, 30% of the profit will be $30. So, 30% sounds like a huge amount but is only applied to the profit.

The other tax of 1% on each transaction is ridiculous and that will only low the amount of transactions but not the capital.
2099  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Social Crypto Community on: March 31, 2022, 02:49:30 PM
I like the fact that you offer wallet services in the community, that's a great feature but a risky one for the users, how can we know we can trust your service, you mentioned that the wallets are generated in the front end but isn't easy to trust in new services.

By the way, great design.
