2082  Economy / Services / Re: Get Organic Search Traffic From Top Rank Alexa Domain For a Lifetime for $2 on: April 19, 2020, 07:36:10 PM
Having a higher rank on alexa doesn't mean a website with large traffic, quality and better reputation, there are lots of ways on how to increase alexa rank including bots and black hats. Webmasters search for websites to have a link from high DA PA or DR PR websites. Obviously, the site mentioned has a DA of 2 which is too low.
2083  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pag preserba ng mga Open Source Software para sa susunod na henerasyon on: April 19, 2020, 06:46:16 PM
That's a lot of storage and data to be downloaded and it will really cost a lot of money if umasa lang tayo sa load natin dito sa 'Pinas. I guess pwede namang paunti-unti, hindi ba?
Kaya nga I say sa mga may mas malaki storage and maganda ang internet, and pwede siya kahit paunti unti lang, like 20GB for this week and another week naman.

And one more, can it be send the same as from external drive to another or a person should really have to download it? Well if so at may kilala ka na meron niyan I think na makaka-less sa time at data.
Not so sure, pero if possible man, it will give you risk lalo na sa malware kaya mas recommended na do it with your own para mas sure na walang virus  or any malware na ma copy sa device mo.

Don't you know that plagiarism is punishable by law also in this forum? At least include the source of the article where you copied the content even it was written by your team especially if not.

2085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did satoshi use "upload.ae" domain when uploading his pre whitepaper draft? on: April 19, 2020, 05:49:33 PM
It barely can be a project which Satoshi would own. He was maintaining privacy from the beginning. The site was probably offering file hosting for free.
Aside from it's free for hosting, the file-hosting also practices security and privacy, so as a guy like satoshi that matters security will probably use it or so.
2086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🏰 The Bitcoin Castle ₿ — Awessome Crime / Mystery / Dark Comedy Shortfilm on: April 19, 2020, 11:59:15 AM
Thumbs up to the creator and to the actors, well made Smiley

All the things mentioned is possible to happen to anyone from having no friends because of obsession (though never know anyone like this) to being murdered because of the wrong people you trusted and practice of security even using a HW (placing the written security in the paper in a common and  unsafe drawer)

And a well made promotion for trezor as well Grin
2087  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ad Networks that pay out in Bitcoin? on: April 18, 2020, 06:36:42 PM
If you have a website with high decent traffic, of course, with most crypto-related content, cointraffic is the best choice IMO, the site isn't listed on the list linked above btw.
2088  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is TabTrader App is SCAM? on: April 18, 2020, 06:10:13 PM
Scam and thief program, I woke up this morning and found the balance of bittrex 0 usd, it was about 6000 dollars, and I found a large purchase and sale orders for $iris coin until the balance ended, I know friends who were also stolen, DO NOT TRUST THIS APPLICATION, BE CAREFULL BE CAREFULL BE CAREFULL

Recommend you to create a scam accusation for this.

Though I'm sure using tabtrader will not harm you, only if you don't give withdraw permission to the generated API key you input on the platform.
2089  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pag preserba ng mga Open Source Software para sa susunod na henerasyon on: April 18, 2020, 05:42:41 PM
Good initiative to, been doing this since noong nalaman ko kahalagahan ng open source.

But I prefer to anyone na may magandang internet and larger data storage(probably may external hard drives at least 1 TB) na mag karoon din ng sariling copy nang bitcoin blockchain (mga 240 ish GB ang size niya for now) just install bitcoin core and wait till ma download ang whole blockchain, this is primarily to support the network. 2090  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Be careful when copy-pasting a Bitcoin address on: April 18, 2020, 04:56:41 PM
But I don't see it as a problem because I usually check a lot more than 3 chars... I usually check around 5 or 6 at beginning and end and look for a distinctive pattern in the middle as well.
Well, I usually check 3-4 chars start and end, but I think that's the most recommended thing even there are installed anti-virus or whatever, checking from start and end of the address with 5-8 characters, no less.
2091  Other / Meta / Re: Google reCaptcha sucks on: April 18, 2020, 03:38:55 PM
You can go here to bypass google captcha https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php

Just make sure you don't share the login link to anyone for security reason
2092  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Discussion] Image ng Bitcoin sa mga tao on: April 17, 2020, 08:00:02 PM
Dahil jan, sino ba naman ang mag titiwala sa isang teknolohiya na ang gumawa nito ay hindi kilala, well, negative image talaga ang lalabas but overtime, Satoshi becomes us,
Actually, depende pa rin and sa case ng bitcoin, marami, dahil nga sa open source ang software na ginawa which is maraming developer ang nag audit and realized even lots of companies na rin na the technology is so important sa finance industry and security. Which is till now, maraming nag s'support and continue developing and marami na ring improvements, especially adoption lalo na sa banking sectors, yung blockchain.
2093  Bitcoin / Electrum / Be careful when copy-pasting a Bitcoin address on: April 17, 2020, 07:52:28 PM
Be careful when copy-pasting a Bitcoin address. Current clipboard malware tries to replace them with similar-looking addresses, that start and end with the same characters.

https://twitter.com/ElectrumWallet/status/1250774410115665922

Now, I wonder how attackers do this if its vanity address or a pre-generated address or real-time generating from a script that reads the first and ends characters but it will consume time and resources for this kind of attack.

2094  Economy / Scam Accusations / [WARNING] Stay Away from Bitcoinofficial.org on: April 16, 2020, 05:39:48 PM
Website archive: http://archive.is/ADdye
What happened: Well I have a crypto-related website and some guy contacted me from Bitcoinofficial.org, I bet that was the owner, offering to publish their article. After reading the domain name, and I just asked myself when does bitcoin have its official website? Well, nevermind, so I tried to visit the website and yeah, it's officially created by a highly-skilled web developer in high school who wants to get people's btc.

Though it uses the coinb.in api to create the wallet address, which even has the same looks, the difference is the website doesn't have the feature to export the private keys, and surely the private key is saved in the website's server.

So I asked them if it's an open-source which I know it isn't and where's the link to download the code, they replied,
Quote
You can open the site bitcoinofficial.org in any browser and check its html code, since this is an online wallet.
Jesus. 🤦🏻

Additional Notes: To let everyone know, especially newbies, there's no official website of bitcoin. Though bitcoin.org is created by satoshi but that doesn't mean it's the official.

And please stay away from this website, by means that don't ever create any wallet using this website that you will use to send/receive bitcoin in the future.
It's probably a scam.

2095  Other / Meta / Re: Are admins of bitcointalk related with satoshi? on: April 15, 2020, 08:35:58 PM
Stefan Thomas = admin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=107085.0
Raoul Duke = global mod / Portuguese sub mod https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=594768.msg6548994#msg6548994 (ex admin too?)
I can't find threads related to Raoul for being once an admin just a global mod though.

Failed to find a topic about this hmm
Didn't find any of this as well.
2096  Other / Meta / Re: Are admins of bitcointalk related with satoshi? on: April 15, 2020, 05:16:56 PM
What if @theymos is satoshi...  Roll Eyes
Who cares then.
2097  Other / Meta / Re: Are admins of bitcointalk related with satoshi? on: April 15, 2020, 05:11:16 PM
I'm thinking that this is what happened.

Satoshi Nakamoto created this place, many people joined. Satoshi decided to make Admins some notable members. Then he left and never logged in again from the @satoshi account.
Thinking is not necessary, that was actually happened.

Did admins change over time? Like every 2 or 3 years? Do new members get the admin role?
From satoshi to sirius, theymos, badbear, and last was cyrus.

Satoshi created the forum on Nov 22, 2009, and was head administrator until almost 2011. Then Sirius was head administrator until 2012, which is when I took over.
Congratulations BadBear
Congratulation Cyrus !

Thank you for your concern...
kindly have a look:-

And this is cost $149? Meh. That's almost x3 than ledger nano s. While ledger is proven and tested by the community against this self-claimed secured closed source hardware wallet developed from an unknown company.
