Fulham will face an opponent who is in their 5 matches without a win, Newcastle. This should be a match that Fulham can win if you look at the trend of this opponent. Another advantage is that they will play this match at their own home which will make Fulham more confident in front of their own supporters. Fulham themselves have not been consistent and they have had ups and downs in every game, but this week it looks like they will give me the advantage.
I don't think either of the teams has any advantage in this match, it is anybody's to lose, and win too. Fulham themselves haven't done that much better than Newcastle this season, though they have won more games, but if you look at the difference in points, you'd see it is just three points between the two teams, and despite the fact that Newcastle have only won once this season, they have also lost only once and drawn all of the remaining five games, picking up a point in each of them. Whilst Fulham have won thrice, drawn twice and lost twice too, that's 11 points in total for them, while Newcastle have 8 points for themselves.

Having said that, it is going to be a good one to watch, Fulham have a striker that is in very fine form and that's Mitrovic, he would definitely cause Newcastle quite a lot of problems, but if you ask me, i think the game has the feeling of a draw written all over it.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 28, 2022, 09:26:43 PM
I personally would be pleased if Arsenal could at least return some revenge on Tottenham, and I would prefer it if they did it shamefully with a score of 4-0, if that would be possible.
Lol, that sort of scoreline isn't possible, this is a North London Derby, and the two of them are currently in good form, so i'd expect the game to be very close, it would prolly be decided on fine margins.
The goals should come after halftime, but I'm not sure if Arsenal can wear down Tottenham players that much and keep them on edge, given that they have never previously defeated Tottenham, but perhaps this time they can.
What exactly do you mean by Arsenal haven't defeated Spurs previously, could that prolly be a typo/mistake or what, Arsenal have beaten Spurs more times than they have lost to them, the records are there for you to check.
2103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Your Own Research - What Does it really mean on: September 28, 2022, 05:47:26 PM
Though DYOR has become a crypto slang but it's the most necessary thing to make profit in crypto. But we have to learn the proper way about researching any project. We should follow all their activities, team works and roadmap to judge a project properly.
Doing your own research doesn't mean you will make profit. The particular coin/project you are doing your research on is absolutely important, you can follow the 'activities', 'team work' and 'roadmap' of a worthless/pump and dump coin/project all you want, and even if it prolly looked good at the beginning of your research, that won't stop the coin from dumping sooner rather than later, because that is what pump and dump coins do. Thus imo, first things first is to do a mini research about coins that are sustainable/long term, before selecting and then doing your full research on it before investing.
2104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 28, 2022, 05:20:57 PM
Using the most energy at the start of the season is not a problem, but maintaining the tempo for a longer period of time is, and this is where Manchester City edges out Arsenal.
I might have to agree with you on this point, i mean, we have known City to be very consistent in the Premier League, especially when they find themselves in a winning streak, they usually run away with the title in situations like that, except for the fact that Liverpool are always breathing down their necks, but lucky City, this season Liverpool are yet to show up, and before they prolly do City might already have run clear of them.

Having said that, i think all City fans would be happy with a title battle with Arsenal, we will be very confident that the North London side wouldn't be able to keep up with us, and sooner rather than later, it would be our title to lose. But we'd have to wait and see how things pan out with other teams, like you said, Spurs look dangerous, and Manchester United are resurgent. Grin
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 27, 2022, 09:51:18 PM
I mean, being top of the league doesn't always make one better than the other; since the beginning of the season, Manchester has only dropped two points in a game they played well but were unlucky not to pick up the full points, and since then they have been riding every fixture with a big goal margin, whereas Arsenal's early fixtures were somehow better than the other top four teams' fixtures and they struggle in most of these games but were lucky enough to get result.  Angry
I have watched all City's games this season, i don't know if you know, but i am a City supporter, and i can tell you categorically that we haven't been at our fluid best in many games in the Premier League this season, our outstanding games were against West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth, but you see our games against teams like Newcastle were we had to come from two goals down to get a 3-3 draw, mind you that Newcastle were somewhat the better team that day, or against Crystal Palace were we had to come back from two goals down to win 4-2, we had a pretty bad first half, but an excellent second half.

Having said that, the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa wasn't impressive too, City struggled quite a lot in that game, and even in our last outing against Wolves, for someone who didn't watch the game, you could prolly think since the scoreline was 3-0 in favor of City, that they dominated the game, but no, City were sluggish throughout that game, and we were lucky to score three goals without having to be on our best form. So my point is basically that City haven't really been excellent as you think, and they have also had their own fair share of luck like Arsenal, prolly even more, thus i think Arsenal might actually be the best team thus far in the league, but it might not last too long.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 27, 2022, 04:54:41 PM
Perhaps this week of interest is Man United against Man City. If you compare Man City and Arsenal, it is certainly different. I think Man City is stronger at the moment.
Is City really stronger than Arsenal at the moment, i mean, Arsenal are on top of the table, so doesn't that technically mean that they are the best team thus far this season, i don't mean they have a better squad/players than City, of course not, City has a better group of players than Arsenal, but i think right now in the premier league, Arsenal are the best team, at least until they relinquish their League Leader position.

Having said that, it doesn't mean Manchester United are going to beat City, i don't think that's going to happen, imo City are the favorites, but games after the international break is usually tricky, a lot will depend on how the players return, coupled with those that will return with injuries, so i will be waiting a little longer to give my final predictation on this game, i think the players will return to their respective clubs tomorrow and begin training as soon as possible, then i'd be able to give my thoughts on this one.
2107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 27, 2022, 04:17:27 PM
...according to this ranking the forward from psg Kylian Mbappe is in first place and close behind is the new man city forward Erling Haaland
Sometimes i can't imagine how much City bought Haaland for; when i look at Erling Haaland's market value in this ranking, and compare it with what City paid Dortmund (€60m) to acquire his services, then i think from City's perspective it was an absolute bargain, and a wonderful piece of transfer business from the Etihad club, i know they aren't selling Haaland anytime soon, absolutely not; but i can imagine if they are to put Haaland up for sale right now, he'll be on for above €100m. City are definitely going to have Haaland for a very long time, and he's going to score a plethora of goals and win numerous titles with City.

Can Mbappe to Madrid happen sometime in the future? After the saga of a few months ago.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: September 27, 2022, 03:49:43 PM
What advice can you give me based on this? Is it right to say, yo any project that has a whitepaper that looks like another project is a scam or  bad for investment.
Mind you that even these days projects that have original whitepapers written by themselves from scratch are more often than not scam projects, not to talk of a project whose team is so lazy that they can write out what the objectives of their project is by themselves in their whitepaper, but have to copy and paste that of another project, that is definitely an obvious sign of a scam project that will either run away with people's money, or produce worthless coins that would be useless even right from the moment of distribution.

Having said that, a whitepaper remains very crucial in an investors assessment of a project and its potential, though there are also other things to look out for, and even if it is practically impossible to know if a project is/will be good/bad, it's much more better to avoid those that look so shady from the beginning.

2110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Borrowing money to invest in BTC ( My own past experience) on: September 26, 2022, 10:01:46 PM
And the chance can be higher (more than 50% to succeed) if we have enough knowledge and experience in it. Crypto investment is risky, but it isn't like gambling, we should have many ways to increase the opportunity to succeed.
The knowledge one develops before investing in Bitcoin doesn't correlate with the price (if it will appreciate or depreciate), because the direction the price will take at any given time is unpredictable. You can't have enough knowledge or experience to increase your chances or time your ROI when you invest in Bitcoin, you basically just buy and hodl for the long term, thus if your lender will be needing their money anytime soon, borrowing to invest shouldn't be part of ones plans.

Having said that, when it comes to Bitcoin investment i don't think there is any particular trick to it in order to increase your chances of success, you basically just have to do the simple things like being patient and understanding that it isn't a get-rich-quick scheme, and it is much easier to do all these if the money invested is yours.

Right now sef the small thing wey dey bother me be say -  nor be to follow do 1 million march o. Shey the 1 million "marchers" don collect PVC?
We don pass this stage for this our movement for a better Nigeria through Peter Obi, when PVC registration been they go on, sensitization on the matter choke, and quite a lot of people even put their own resources together to ensure say people get their PVC, and if you go they honest ehn, you go know say Obi supporters come out wella come collect their PVC's, so we don pass this discussion at this stage, make we no use this one worry/distract ourselves, now na the time to continue to they tell people say make them vote for person wey fit bring hope to this failed nation, now no be the time for PVC talk, the registration don close, so people wey no get no be our concern again, make we work with the people wey get, na so the matter be.
2112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: September 25, 2022, 07:35:01 PM
Manchester City have shown how much they want the champions league, it is not a secret ambition as their objectives are clear for everyone to see from how much they spend in getting world-class players and top talents and sack coaches who fail to win the trophy for the club so it is no longer something new. Manchester City are looking stronger this season. I will love to see a final between PSG and Manchester City to see who wants it more.
I don't think City sack coaches who do not win them the Champions League, if that was the case they would have sacked Pep Guardiola who has been in charge of the team for about 6 or so years and have failed to win the Champions League for City, even when Mancini and Pellegrini left the club, it wasn't because they didn't win the CL, it was because they both were not able to make City a very consistent team in the big stage, the team was somewhat erratic then, and thus they needed a manager that could give them a certain standard.

Having said that, Manchester City are yet to sack Pep Guardiola because of the consistently high level City have been playing under his management for the past 6 years or so, winning quite a lot of trophies and breaking numerous records in the process, they might not have been able to win the CL just yet, but his achievements with the team surpasses a CL trophy. City want to win the CL, no doubt about that, but they will be very happy with Pep and the level he has brought the team to, and they will not exchange him for a manager that will win them the CL and take them back to an inconsistent/erratic level. By the way, i would also love to see a CL final between City and PSG this season.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 25, 2022, 06:21:18 PM
The real test for MU is this MANCHESTER Derby, where Ten Hag's tactics and strategies are pitted against Pep Guardiola's tactics. Will Haaland appear as a hero in the Manchester derby or will Martinez be stopped? I think the Manchester derby is a test for Ten Hag, Martinez, Malacia and Dalot to test Man United's defence. This derby will definitely be fierce and full of strategy wars between the two coaches.
I don't think this is their first real test; Manchester United have already passed two of their tests this season against Liverpool and Arsenal, since they beat the two of them, thus even if they lose to City, i don't think we can say they lost their first real test. Though the Manchester Derby is an entirely different game in terms of rivalry and bragging rights for the fans, so this game might mean more for Manchester United than their previous tests against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Having said that, a lot of talk will be about Haaland leading up to the game, if he can keep up with his scoring streak or not, we'll see. If Manchester United win that game then they might be making a big statement about their title chances this season, remember they started poorly, but have been very impressive in the last couple of weeks; for City, they will want to continue with business as usual, and since Arsenal have a tough game against Spurs a day earlier, when City play Manchester United they might have a chance to go top of the table. This weekend has a lot in store for us.
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 25, 2022, 05:09:42 PM
This is his second Premier League experience after working with Chelsea. It looks like he will be more successful with Tottenham also.
More successful than when he was Chelsea manager? I sincerely do not think so, he might have a successful time at Spurs based on their own standards, but for him to outperform his time at Stamford Bridge in Spurs is indeed a daunting task, remember that he won the Premier League and the FA Cup with Chelsea, so for him to be more successful at Spurs he has to win at least these two trophies or more, or maybe win a bigger trophy than them both, which in this case is the CL trophy; i don't see Conte winning any of these at Spurs, no disrespect to Spurs, but he is in a team that isn't accustomed to winning trophies and that might prolly be the case during his spell there.
2115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful when lodging into any hotel on: September 25, 2022, 04:43:31 PM
It was actually my first time using a hotel, if not for the wedding festival I am not the type that you can see in a hotel, mind you the country that I am from this isn't something new and with high corruption going on I can't do what you asked of me because I can't win no matter what, I am from African country but I've learnt my lesson.
Making multiple posts in a row is against the forum rules, you don't have to reply every user individually, you can merge all your replies to every individual user in a single post of yours.

Well, i am sad to know that's the situation where you come from, but i am also from an African country and 'common' people do win court cases everyday, but since you said nothing explicit was recorded by the hidden camera, then it is all good, and it might be a better option to just basically let sleeping dogs lie.
2116  Other / Archival / Re: Don't worry, bitcoin is cyclical on: September 25, 2022, 04:33:13 PM
You see, especially newbies when they encounter a bear will begin to shout that BTC and cryptocurrency is a scam.
Without any doubt some cryptocurrencies are scam coins, while some of them are pump and dump coins, the complaints about those kind of projects are legitimate, and crypto users should not be hodling such coins, especially in a bear market, a lot of them won't survive the crash. It is Bitcoin that i am definitely sure isn't a scam and a hodlers don't have to worry about short term corrections, it is a project that is sustainable for a long period, but then the mistake quite a lot of people make is to think that every crypto is like Bitcoin, and is sustainable too.
2117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful when lodging into any hotel on: September 25, 2022, 03:05:32 PM
I am surprised that a hotel room has a hidden camera, that is violation of privacy and if it is true i think you can take legal action against the said hotel, when i saw your topic subject i thought the issue would prolly be that you used a hotel's wifi and got into trouble doing so, as we know it is not good to use a public wifi when you'll be accessing your crypto stuffs; but this case of hidden camera is quite strange to me, and if i am to be honest, i haven't heard of something like this before.

Just as @Lucius has said, rather than making a post here, i think you should be writing a statement at your local police station against this hotel.
2118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is permissable in Islam. on: September 25, 2022, 02:52:49 PM
Don't limit your understanding since Bitcoin has been explicitly governed by Muslims.
Bitcoin is not governed by anyone, religion or group of people, bitcoin is decentralized and only the user who owns the funds governs controls their own personal funds, i don't know where you get that impression of Bitcoin being governed by muslims.
Depending on usage. Bitcoin is legal if used as a medium of trade. For instance, utilizing Bitcoin for cash transactions similar to those using fiat currencies.
Not only in Islam, but generally, and even from an ethical point of view, we all want Bitcoin to be used for legal activities, but just as fiat is used too, there's nothing we can do to stop some fraudulent people from using Bitcoin for the wrong reasons.
2119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a top player in Libertarian Government on: September 25, 2022, 12:45:10 PM
A long journey is ahead, as we'll have to build a world where everybody, not some, will be able to understand Bitcoin and its currency.
That world is not possible, i don't even think Bitcoin at inception was created for the entire world to understand and use it, there are people who are just fine with the centralized system they use, we prolly know they are completely under government control, but they do not see it that way, and for some of those people, they would never actually see Bitcoin for what it actually is, and sometimes there isn't any need trying to convince them. Quite a lot of people as well only have a very minimal amount of funds, without any savings or extra money, these set of people wouldn't ever see Bitcoin as a currency or even an asset, they just want to do their small jobs, earn a small living and have meals to eat.

Having said that, let the people who have lesser problems in life to enable them want freedom and control of their finances use the Bitcoin currency and hodl it for the long period, over time the numbers have been growing and it will continue to do so, we must understand that in as much as Bitcoin is a fascinating network, not everyone can 'afford' to use or care about it.
2120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: September 25, 2022, 11:01:41 AM
maybe in the future the Central Bank Digital Currency or CBDC will success but like all other said it will be centralized and in my opinion it might not transparent as crypto did, and the other that it will not a threat for a bitcoin and I think this will be the opposite people maybe get more attracted of cryptocurrency world
Quite a lot of people are already allured to decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and also centralized non-government crypto in general, mind you that in no way is the government attempting to create CBDC's to allure people to crypto, or to encourage people to use crypto, CBDC's are created in a bid to reduce the number of people that are using decentralized crypto, a part of me has always felt that the campaign for CBDC's is basically in direct competition to Bitcoin.

Having said that, whilst CBDC's don't function like Bitcoin, and what goes on with it can't directly affect Bitcoin, but the activities of those who created CBDC's can affect Bitcoin, and these people are no other than the government, they'd definitely strengthen their campaign against Bitcoin, trying to dissuade their people from using it, but rather they should trust the crypto that is issued and controlled by them.

Bitcoin has always risen above government manipulation, and i am pretty sure that the case of CBDC's will absolutely be no different.
