Well done Sir Charles Tim for taking out time to elaborate on the importance of using a better secure Bitcoin wallet after the just recent mempool attack wey many persons no been fit transfer BTC due to very high fees, and today you have taken it upon yourself to render perfect solution to the problem.
The wallet wey you dey use no be solution to mempool clogging na, the wallet wey you dey use na make your coins dey secure, because if you use wallet wey no dey safe take generate your keys, your funds wey dey for that wallet no go dey safe too, mempool clogging na different matter.
Because one thing I have come to notice is that whenever people are talked to provide a Bitcoin SegWit wallet address, the first thing that comes there mind is "Trust Wallet" or "Binance" for in case of exchange.
Why you think so? Better wallets choke wey dey support segwit address na, if people provide Binance address maybe na because dem wan trade their coins as soon as the thing land for their wallet address.

What is the latest information regarding the Manchester City ban for next year? When can we expect to see or learn about Manchester City's response or the final decision on the ban?
What ban? Manchester City haven't been banned from any competition, they have only been charged by the Premier League, and do not expect a verdict to be reached on that case pretty soon, i expect it to linger on for quite a long time, and i predict that it would end in City either being fined or get a slap on the wrist. BTW, why have you brought this up on the day City have been crowned EPL champions for the third time in a row, and for the fifth time in six years, even if you don't like the club, just congratulate them and move on.
1223  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Use a good online noncustodial wallet on: May 20, 2023, 11:38:44 PM
Charles T how we go take get the offline wallet because as e be like dis I never no where to get dat kind thing for we kwantri. Really  di thing for make sense wella because all dis online things sef dey tire pesn because I dey fear saw dem go hack my wallet. Omo di fear two much. Di mata sef na di custodian wallets be do problem. And most of dis custodian wallet e dey connected to exchange. Nai make we are advised to use noncustodial wallets
Offline wallets na just wallets wey go keep your Bitcoin keys offline, hardware wallets na better offline wallet wey you go fit use, but before you buy hardware wallet, do your research on the one wey dey very good, check both their old and new features and choose the one wey suit you, mind you that you no suppose buy hardware wallet from just anywhere, no go buy am second hand, if you wan buy am, order am from the people wey dey manufacture am. E get another wey you fit create offline wallet, and that is if you use the wallet for device wey dey airgapped, as e be so, you fit arrange electrum wallet for device wey dey cut off from internet (airgapped), if you do am like that, the wallet go be offline wallet.

Who else thinks that City would be champions even before they play Chelsea on Sunday, because i think Nottingham Forest are going to beat Arsenal on Saturday. Don't get me wrong, if Arsenal were still in a tight competition to win the EPL, they'll blow Nottingham Forest away, but in the context of things, Arsenal know the league is done and City are definitely going to win it, they may come into tomorrow's game with heavy legs and psychologically down, whilst Nottingham Forest are fighting for their lives down the bottom of the table, thus the game might be more important for them, and since it's in their home, i see them winning.
And i said it yesterday, it was almost certain that Arsenal would lose to Nottingham Forest, and they did, Forest had everything to play for, they knew a win would mathematically guarantee that they would play Premier League football next season, and they did it, but Arsenal on the other hand knew that even if they won today, City would be Champions if/when they beat Chelsea tomorrow, thus the Gunners were suffering from that psychological disadvantage today, and that's why they lost.

Having said that, congratulations to Manchester City, they are champions with three games left to play, now they can line up fringe players for these remaining three games and keep their squad fit for the FA Cup and CL final; City are fired up, and i bet on them to get this treble done.
1225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: does it worth to start mining now ? on: May 20, 2023, 09:22:25 PM
What I want to add is this you, do not need to start big you can start small with what you have and if it goes well for you within the next 3 - 6 months and you think it's something that you can do, then you can go ahead to expand and buy bigger equipment that would serve you well in the long-run.
Saying you can start small with mining almost connotes that you can just start mining with your laptop and if it's profitable, you take it a step further and buy Asics, but that is completely erroneous; you still have to start by buying Asic miners that isn't cheap, you still need shelter for your machines, you need to keep them cool and you also need cheap electricity, mind you that you are also competing with quite a lot of mining rigs that have so much computational power, thus "starting small" is somewhat futile.

Having said that, if you do not have too much computational power, you might want to merge with big mining pools, rather than mining just by yourself, because you definitely wouldn't make any profit.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 19, 2023, 02:46:13 PM
Having reached the finals, there is just one team standing in City’s way also hoping to claim the title of the Champions League winners.
Same as your thoughts, I too think Manchester City has what it takes to win Inter and claim the Champions League trophy.
The last time (first in their history) City got to the final a couple of seasons ago, it was against Chelsea and Pep made some tactical tweaks that day which really affected the team, resulting in quite a very poor game from City in which they eventually lost. I don't think that's going to happen this season, City are on a whole different level and Pep knows perfectly what his best tactics and personnel are this season. This is definitely City's season to win that elusive champions league trophy, and i would never bet against them doing it, they'll be too strong for Inter Milan.

Bernardo Silva is leaving the door open for his probable transfer this summer as it seems. If he really achieves the Premier League and Champions League titles both at the same time this season I think he can really feel like it would be nice to have a new adventure.
TBH i don't know why Bernado Silva has incessantly left the door to his future wide open, i am pretty sure this will be somewhat annoying for City fans and those at the hierarchy, but he is such an important player and very crucial to what City do under Pep Guardiola, but we've seen how Pep was quick to do away with Joao Cancelo in January, the Portuguese was also very important to City, but the club sent him out on loan, and without him they are on the verge of a treble.

Having said that, if City do the treble, i see no reason why Bernado Silva would want to leave, is there a better club than City right now, definitely not PSG or Barcelona that are after him. Pep is a perfectionist, thus winning the treble wouldn't take the spring out of his steps, he would want to do it again and again, thus a very good future for his players, why wouldn't Bernado want to be part of that.

Intermilan changes all of them to be the great players. What an unbelievable day for intermilan.
Well it is an interesting story to be honest, but mind you that it does not make them great players just because they were in a team that qualified for the CL final, they are definitely good players anyway, but not great players in that sense. Having said that, congratulations to Inter Milan, they made AC Milan look second best across the two legs, and that's why they were able to get a comfortable 3-0 victory. Inter Milan await the winner of City v Real Madrid tonight, whoever it is that qualifies will be the favorite for the trophy, and Inter the underdog, but i think it favors them because they will play the final under no pressure, which can help them do the unthinkable.
1231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most altcoins are fake (wakanda) on: May 16, 2023, 09:39:05 PM
Please what is the aimed of those people doing fake crypto currency?
To take money away from you and others who have invested, and then use that money to enrich themselves. BTW you're absolutely spot on: most altcoins are indeed fake and scams, the owners basically create them only to make money for themselves, they have zero use cases, most times plagiaraized whitepaper, impostor team of developers, etc. If you don't want to be scammed with fake/scam coins, then only invest in Bitcoin and forget about altcoins, there are so many of them, so to find a productive one is as good a task as looking for a needle in a haystack.
1232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is importance of old bitcoins that woke up and moved in 2023? on: May 16, 2023, 09:24:54 PM
I read some discussions that those old bitcoin movements can create fear on the market. People think those old bitcoins can be dumped on the market and will cause a price fall.
Why should people spending or moving their Bitcoins make you fear/panic, even if the owners decide to liquidate their funds, there is nothing you can do about it. If you pay attention to fud, you might also sell your coins because you think the worst is going to happen, but the funny part of it all is people who sell like this more often than not start to buy immediately when an appreciation starts, just because of the fear of missing out. I'd advice you not to pay too much attention when people move their coins, even if it hasn't moved for a long time and is worth so much, it is their coins.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 16, 2023, 06:23:11 PM
By winning this match, Liverpool are only 1 point behind Newcastle and Manchester United.
Yeah, and it is going to be a nervy end of the season for both Newcastle and Manchester United fans, but i don't think Liverpool are going to break into the top four even though they are just one point behind, the thing is, they have played one game more than both United and Liverpool, thus i cannot see it happening. Having said that, from a Liverpool point of view, all they have to do is win their remaining two games and see what happens, it is not in their hands, so they can only hope other teams do them a favor, anyway what i think they'll eventually get is a Europa League spot.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 16, 2023, 04:20:28 PM
Both remaining matches could be unpredictable... But I think Inter will play from defence tonight, which is very difficult to break... Milan have no choice but to go on the attack and take big risks... That could play a fatal role in this game...
Inter Milan already have one leg in the Champions league final, and i don't think they will be committing too many players forward tonight, they would just hold their positions, especially the defenders, there is absolutely no need to force anything when you are already winning 2-0, they would allow AC Milan chase the game, which would definitely leave gaps in their defense for Inter Milan to exploit. It is so important to win the first leg tie, and to do so with a two goal advantage is even better, i can't see a way back for AC Milan tonight, they will compete hard, but the game was already somewhat won in the first leg.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 16, 2023, 03:54:33 PM
There is still rumors that Real Madrid is interested in Kylian Mbappe, but there is no official or credible source of information on the subject. Even after clinching the deal with Jude Bellingham, they are still interested in him. Mbappe, in my opinion, may still be interested in joining the club even if it does not work out this season but very soon. After PSG, I believe Real Madrid will be his next destination.  His new contract with PSG compels him to stay for the time being in order to win a Champions League trophy for the club before leaving.
Mind you that Real Madrid have not signed Jude Bellingham, yes they are the front runners to sign the impressive English midfielder, but in football you never know, things can change pretty quickly. Real Madrid are no longer interested in Mbappe, ignore the rumors, the amount of money it will take for any club to buy Mbappe right now will be outrageous, thus he is definitely going to stay in PSG until his present contract expires. Having said that, Real Madrid have Vinicius Junior who is one the best players in the world in his position right now, thus why should they even want to sign Mbappe, right now i wouldn't play anybody ahead of Vinicius in that left wing forward role.
1236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 15, 2023, 08:58:05 PM
These are now the most important weeks for the club and it looks like they will win two titles.
Well i'd go a step further and actually tip them to win all three trophies. Brighton have done Manchester City a world of good by beating Arsenal 3-0, thus City now only need a win against Chelsea on Sunday to be EPL champions for the third time in a row. If City beat Real Madrid on Wednesday and get into the CL final, they will have enough rest before the final on the 10th of June, because their remaining two EPL games against Brighton and Brentford will become inconsequential to them and Pep can rotate and play his fringe players in those games. Everything seems to be working in favor of City and if they beat Real Madrid on Wednesday, they are going to get the treble, that is going to be their final big test.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 15, 2023, 06:06:34 PM
Rafael Leao is being approached by Chelsea, and it is reported that Chelsea are ready to offer their 2 wingers to get a Rafael Leao. But on the other hand AC Milan still needs this player, and they have set a price if there is a club that wants it. 170 million euros is the price AC Milan wants to release this player, that is a very fantastic price of course.
I don't really know where you guys get these fake news' from, Chelsea haven't made any contact to sign Rafael Leao from AC Milan, as a matter of fact, reliable sources can confirm that the Portuguese superstar has signed a new deal with AC Milan that will keep him in the club until 2028, it is clear that the player loves what he is doing at AC Milan and he wants it to continue. Having said that, i don't expect Chelsea to go after any player right now, they'd want Pochettino to take over first, that's when the season is over, and then he can tell the club the players he wants them to go after as well as the ones he wants them to sell.

Metamask & Trustwallet - For Shitcoin aka Altcoin
Since closed-source wallets are not recommended for use, you can use unstoppable wallet as your multi-coin wallet, it is an open source wallet and i have seen some good recommendations from people that have used it, mind you that i have not used this wallet myself because i usually only buy Bitcoin (and use electrum) with hardly any altcoins, but if you want alternatives to closed-source multi-coin wallets like trust wallet, you can try it out. First read the thread below, it has quality discussions about unstoppable wallet.

Good day to you all, I am new here and I will like to get your advice, apart from bitcoin,do you think that there is a high possibilities of making profit from other altcoins. Also which wallet do you advise a newbie like me to use to store my coins. Are exchanges wallet an open source wallet. How can I differentiate an open source wallet from a close source wallet.
Bitcoin has an actual utility which creates high demand for it, plus its capped supply, thus it will always have an appreciating value in the long term. Whilst most altcoins on the other hand are pump and dump coins with no utility, you might be lucky if you buy it right before it pumps, but the chances are pretty low, and the risk of you holding it when it is dead is somewhat high. So weigh up the risks and decide for yourself which option is best. To summarize the answer to your question on wallets to use: not your keys, not your coins, thus be your own bank.
1240  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen to a wallet when the wallet company closes on: May 15, 2023, 12:39:56 PM
OP, the reason why you asked this question is because you think that Bitcoin is stored inside a wallet, so to add to what other users have said, i'd tell you that it is a misconception and it is not the truth, Bitcoin is not stored inside a wallet, but in the blockchain and it is your private key that you use to prove ownership of your funds. Id your Bitcoins are in a custodial wallet, you don't have the keys, so you can't prove ownership of the funds, thus if the company collapses, it does so with your funds.

Having said that, if you use a non-custodial wallet that gives you ownership of your funds/keys, as long as you have the keys, or the seed phrase that can recover the keys anytime, your funds are safe in your custody. Even if the wallet stops functioning, you'd basically just use your keys to spend it in another wallet, because your funds isn't stored inside any wallet, but on the blockchain.
