However, after this incident there were consequences that Messi had to pay, such as being suspended for two weeks and PSG also would not pay his salary during the suspension. Maybe the words "no player is bigger than the club" are evident in the problems faced by Messi at the moment and PSG are very right to do this to Messi. Where do you think Messi will continue his career this summer?
Messi was never a perfect fit for PSG, ever since he arrived he hasn't formed that connection with the team nor the fans and it was certain he was going to leave after they were eliminated by Bayern Munich in the RO16 of the CL. Reliable sources confirm that Messi had already told PSG he wasn't staying one month ago, but i expected him to act professional and see out his contract without problems with the club, thus i am surprised he went on an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia. I know Messi has been suspended for two weeks, but i don't think we'll ever see him in a PSG shirt again, even after the expiration of his suspension, as for where he'd go, there are many options, the MLS, Saudi Pro League, Barcelona, and i expect other offers to come in in the next months.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 02, 2023, 11:58:06 PM
Is there anyone who believes Real Madrid can still defeat Manchester City in the Champions League despite their recent poor performance in the last three weeks?
Whilst my money is on City progressing to the final, my decision has nothing to do with Real Madrid's bad form in the la liga, mind you that it is almost certain that Barcelona are going to be crowned la liga champions in Spain, thus Real Madrid know they are not playing for anything else in the la liga, that is why they have the liberty to rest some of their players, and the reason why they are dropping points so cheaply, it no longer matters to them. Having said that, the CL (and copa del rey) is all that's left for them to play for, thus they'll do everything within their power to keep their players fresh to battle it out with City, a City side still in three competitions and struggling with fatigue.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 02, 2023, 11:29:05 PM
I think it is high time Frank Lampard resigns, you cannot be losing football matches left, right and center and still remain in the job, waiting patiently for your employers to fire you, you ought to make things easier for them and just step aside, he has brought his losing streak from Everton to Chelsea, i know Chelsea were not doing well prior to his appointment, but no one can deny the fact that he has made them worse.

Having said that, Chelsea are very lucky that they have got 39 points, if it was anything lower than this, then they might have been pulled into a relegation battle. Looking at Chelsea's fixtures from now until the end of the season, i don't think they can get more than 3 points, but just because they are a little bit far from some of the teams below them (who would also drop points likewise), they are safe.
1284  Other / Meta / Re: does the speculation board need live bitcoin price update? on: May 02, 2023, 04:36:38 PM
The user does an update from time to time, infact in less than an hour he make the post updates on bitcoin price, his case has been discussed already about causing a nuisance in what he post without any additional information, just a price updates when bitcoin prize go bearish or bullish, some even say that he uses AI to make such post because he don't respond to other post or any other board than WO,
ChartBuddy is not a regular user, but a bot that cannot engage in discussions. I don't think ChartBuddy is constituting a nuisance in the forum, the bot posts this Bitcoin price updates in the correct section: speculation > wall observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking and discussion. If the bot was prolly placed in another section, or if it made posts all around the forum then it would have been spam, but the speculation section is the appropriate section for it and i don't think the WO posters have any problem with ChartBuddy. 1285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Darknet hackers are selling crypto accounts for as low as $30 a pop on: May 02, 2023, 03:33:19 PM
Selling people's data and account in the dark web is not a new thing, though i think selling personal data is more popular than selling accounts and can be used quicker and more efficiently by the buyers, they could spread phishing links easily through bought email addresses, and they can also use personal information of the victims for identity theft, plus many other options available to these hackers/scammers.

Having said that, buying a hacked cryptocurrency exchange account might be difficult to use for the buyer, the buyers are definitely money launderers who for obvious reasons want to evade KYC, but i don't think they can successfully use a hacked exchange account without first compromising the email address or SIM card connected to the exchange account.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 02, 2023, 02:18:00 PM
Chelsea is at their worst form this season, they have absolutely nothing to fight for in the league, no trophy and no spot on the table. Facing Arsenal would be an easy point for Gunners, Mikel Arteta will disposed everything within his reach to ensure he comes out victorious against Frank Lampard. Blues have appoints and sacked managers this season, Lampard loses this one, blues fans will protest because the club is in total mess.
Chelsea have nothing but their pride to fight for tonight, Chelsea have lost their last five consecutive games, if they lose today it would make it 6 straight losses, and it is definitely going to be one of their worst run in the clubs history. Having said that, i don't think Chelsea would lose today, they can't continue to lose matches in this way, and i expect to see a reaction from their players, it is also a London Derby, and there is so much pride at stake, i think Chelsea can manage to draw this game and get at least a point, but a draw would be a damaging result for Arsenal, and would definitely mean that the trophy is going to Manchester City.
1287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always hide your forum email address after registration. on: May 02, 2023, 01:28:28 PM
Some managers are high rank members of the forum, it will be better if they can adjust their rules, I see no reason why they should publish users email address and telegram username on spreadsheet, even if they need those details, it should be kept private not public where everyone can see and copy it, am sure lots of people will have been scammed just because managers publish their details on spreadsheet and scammers were able to have access to it and the scammer will start communicating with the user.
Bounty managers expect their participants to know some basic security tips such as having multiple email addresses, you set them apart, some for trusted websites, some throwaway ones for untrusted website and for public exposure, thus whenever you receive an email in your throwaway email addresses, you'd be extra careful how you'd handle them, and you might just decide never to open any email received in it. Having said that, next time one wants to apply in a bounty that requires posting your email address, let them use their throwaway email address, and as for your TG username, do not respond to unsolicited messages if you receive them.
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: May 01, 2023, 10:58:22 PM
Do you consider any altcoin to be pf future profiting, if yes then what is the percentage calculation of your confidence level in that coin and why should we hold them for a long-term basis?
Well i don't consider most altcoins to be sustainable for the long period, quite a lot of them are pump and dump coins that have no actual utility, mind you also that you shouldn't listen to people when they pitch their altcoin projects to you as being good, so many of them are just selling you that idea because they also bought the coins and they want it to pump fast, so they can dump it on the next available buyer.

Having said that, due to the fact that altcoins can pump and dump pretty fast, investors can also accrue profit with them if they choose the right one, but that's almost like looking for a needle in a haystack, thus it is better not to buy now and wait until when the bull run is about to begin and then buy altcoins that begin to show positive signs, before they fully pump.

Even so, hopefully Harry Kane changes his mind and chooses to move to a new club
I think Harry Kane has changed his mind quite a lot of times to move to a different club, but it wasn't to be because negotiating with Daniel Levy is so difficult, he places outrageous prices on players he does not want to sell and frustrates the interested club until they stop the pursuit. Two summer's back City were seriously interested in Harry Kane, but Daniel Levy blocked the move from happening. Spurs aren't going to be playing in the CL next season, thus i think the time is finally right for Kane to leave, but i think he'll want to move to an EPL team because he is chasing the all time EPL highest goal scorer record held by Alan Shearer, and if he finishes his career in England, he might actually break it.
1290  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [Opinion] Why translated topics are still on a single thread? on: May 01, 2023, 11:31:54 AM
No be lie wey you talk. Reading in English dey easier than pidgin, but why we dey translate this topics no be only just for merit sake, also na to get that special filling of fulfillment say u dey part of or contribute to something beautiful. For instance, some of our ogas wey don hang boot for de translation mata, after some months or years wen dem stumble on de topic, dem go just smile and be like... Wow so I translated this topic, dem go just get some sorts of joy or happiness.
I no see translation posts as a way of contributing to something beautiful oh, as i don talk before, if to say our board get distinct language and many new users no too understand English but na that distinct language wey dem sabi read, speak and also write, then translating important topics from English to that distinct language go help people for the local board wella, but as our own dey wey everybody sabi read English, them fit just go read the original topic na, i dey sure say nobody dey read this pidgin translation topics because them go find the original English posts easier to read and understand.

Having said that, if person wan contribute to something beautiful for this our local board, then make them start their own quality threads for the board, no be all these duplicate and spam posts wey full for our local board so. But i know say we just start sha, our local board just start, in the future we go get more quality threads than spam and duplicate threads.

Richardson is more of a confident player than Oliver Skipp. He recorded the attacking line more than Skipp's butt I don't know why Stellini doesn't like using him I'm the starting of games. Richardson has been so productive in any moment he is brought in from bench irrespective of the time left.
Cristian Stellini is no longer the head coach of Spurs, he was sacked after the embarrassing defeat to Newcastle, their new manager is Ryan Mayson. Richarlison is not a good player and his stats says it all, just one goal in the EPL all season (which came yesterday), i know he has had a couple of injuries, but the Brazillian hasn't impressed at all since joining Spurs. A player is said to be productive when they score goals and make assists, Richarlison does none of these when he is either brought on or when he starts, he is anything but productive, i'd be surprised if he is still at Spurs next season.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 01, 2023, 09:39:05 AM
Manchester City are in first place in the Premier League and will have an even tougher time in the Champions League as they try to beat Real Madrid and maintain their lead at home. I remember how Real played against Liverpool, first losing 2-0 but then winning 2-5. Of course City are stronger than Liverpool, so Real can draw in England and destroy Manchester City at home in Spain.
The first leg of this tie is in Santiago Bernabeu, whilst the second leg is at the Etihad. I don't think there is any comparison between the Liverpool v Real Madrid game in the RO16 this season with this SF game against City. Liverpool are a complete shadow of themselves this season, but City are as good as they have always been, challenging for three trophies this time around, on the summit of the EPL table, into the FA Cup final and in the SF of the CL, thus they are a world apart from Liverpool.

Having said that, there's no team currently in world football that's capable of 'destroying' this Pep's Manchester City. This game is going to be pretty tight, but i am going with a City victory, and i even believe they have what it takes to beat Real Madrid home and away.
1293  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of such ads on Instagram & Facebook! on: May 01, 2023, 09:24:30 AM
@dzungmobile you are giving people the wrong advice by telling them to store huge amounts of crypto on a computer,  do you know that a computer is very vulnerable to viruses and malware?
A user can store huge amounts of Bitcoin in their computer if it is a cold/air-gapped wallet, and you could even make it a multi-sig wallet for more security, and all of that is what @dzungmobile said, thus they are correct. If the wallet in the computer is a cold wallet, thus the device is air-gapped and it is not vulnerable to viruses/malwares.
Scammers are just coming up with new tactics everyday just to scam people
Scammers are not inventing new tactics, these has been their modus operandi for quite a long time now; they just target avaricious and naive people.
1294  Economy / Reputation / Re: My 1000th Post on Bitcointalk platform. on: April 30, 2023, 10:53:08 PM
1000 posts is not all that of a milestone to create a thread for, i think celebrations of this sort should be reserved for actual milestones, if users begin to create threads for what they subjectively think is a milestone, it could really get messy out here.
1295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To Trustwallet users. Vulnerability. Repayment. on: April 30, 2023, 10:30:37 PM
Bitcoin is not that way, and such people may feel reluctant about securing their coins because they believe it's safe regarding the fact it's saved on a blockchain.
Whilst their Bitcoin is stored in the Blockchain network, their seed phrase and keys to spend it is not, it has to be stored by them, and these are some of the basic things that a Bitcoin user should know, failure to know these and things go awry, definitely it is on them, and not because they find research hard to do.
So, what I'm driving at is that most people don't research because nobody, physically, discuss with them regarding bitcoin.
Nobody has to discuss it with you personally, most of us in Bitcointalk joined the forum because we were curious about Bitcoin, if someone wants to know more about Bitcoin before using it, they'll find their way into this forum and get some of the best knowledge. Mind you that this issue of research isn't only peculiar to Bitcoin, it is a rule of thumb that one should research before using something, you cannot be ill and just take any drug because no one has previously personally talked to you about your symptoms, you obviously go to a doctor who has done all the research about it in school.
1296  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Bitcoin reduce corruption in governance? on: April 30, 2023, 08:06:50 PM
Bitcoin is already reducing corruption all over the world , providing them with a secure anonymus way of transfering massive chunks of wealth at any time or place. Wink
I'm afraid that as much as you think politicians use Bitcoin to perpetrate their fraud, they do not. Bitcoin uses a public ledger that can be seen by everyone and possibly traced, and they (politicians) also steal quite a lot of money, running into millions/billions which would definitely be difficult for them to convert when they need to (if it's held in Bitcoins). Thus they stick to their old ways of money laundering, which is to use fiat/cash, they can always hide as much cash in their well secured homes, or pull some strings with their local banks or even international banks, who'll be more than ready to accept the money without asking questions, afterall they need it to also fund their own personal trade.
1297  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal for AI Integration with BitcoinTalk forum on: April 30, 2023, 07:43:13 PM
Generating insights and reports for traders, investors, and other cryptocurrency enthusiasts
Bitcointalk is a forum for discussing about Bitcoin and other whatnots, it is neither a trading or a speculating platform, but if a users need such information they should visit the trading discussion and speculation section.
Providing personalized recommendations and content to users based on their activity and interests
Users know what their interests are already, they should visit the sections that interests them, they don't need any AI for that reason.
Detecting and filtering out spam and fraudulent activity on the forum
Whilst i don't know how the AI is going to do this, it is still a no. Come to think of it, all of the AI generated posts users have been posting on the forum are all spam, thus i think the forum would go downhill if AI helps us in detecting spam. Grin
1298  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would the Bitcointalk Forum be like without Signature Campaigns? on: April 30, 2023, 07:16:42 PM
In my opinion, it would be better without the signature campaigns, for sure it would be a normal forum without any money involved so most of the users would just post for knowledge, experience, questions, tips, etc.
I beg to differ, i don't think the forum would be better without signature campaigns, let us be honest, the forum activity is going to drop quite significantly if that happens, thus who is going to share knowledge on the forum or answer important questions of newbies about Bitcoin. Signature campaigns and the merit system are two things that have helped this forum greatly to maintain its high standards, to join signature campaigns you must earn merits, and to earn merits you must make HQ posts. Mind you that there are spammers on every platform, and even if there's no signature campaigns here there'd still be spammers, thus if you think spam posts are a problem in the forum, use the "report to moderator" button more frequently.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 30, 2023, 04:12:57 PM
Real Madrid should control the games against Manchester City and as possible have dominance in midfielder area,
Well, i don't think Real Madrid are going to control the game against Manchester City, in last season's SF when the both sides squared off, City controlled the game for the both legs, and still did not win. I don't think any football side can control the game against Manchester City, you just have to come up with a different game plan, and last season Real Madrid chose to hit City on the counter attack, which they were successful at.

Having said that, i don't expect Real Madrid to seek complete dominance against City, they will be patient and wait for their time on the counter attack, but i think it is City that would progress to the final this time around, they definitely must have learnt their lessons from last season and i am pretty sure they'd not allow it to repeat again this time around.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 28, 2023, 05:26:40 PM
Both Inter Milan and AC Milan seem equally likely to win. The performances of these two teams have been erratic in Serie A this season as well. So there is no way to say for sure which team will qualify for the finals.
I second this, the game is fairly even at 50-50 and i absolutely don't think there is any favorite in this game. AC Milan and Inter Milan are quite erratic and unpredictable this season, they could lose when you expect them to win easily, and win when you think they are definitely going to lose, it has been an up and down season for the both clubs, and they are really fortunate and lucky to be in the SF of the CL. This match is going to be decided by fine margins, i prolly even think it will go into extra time, that's how close i think it'd be, but if i must pick a side, i'd say AC Milan would progress to the final, just because i think they have a game changer in Rafel Leao and a great goalscorer in Olivier Giroud, they would both help AC Milan to just edge Inter Milan.
